인터넷의 활성화와 인트라넷 구축을 통한 그룹웨어의 확산과 함께 LAM의 초고속화 기술이 급진적으로 발전되어 왔으며, 이러한 발전은 고품질의 실시간 서비스에 대한 사용자의 요구에 의해 새로운 형태의 통합네트워크 형태로 발전되어 가고 있다. 통합네트워크는 데이터, 음성 및 영상 응용 서비스가 함께 제공될 수 있는 통신망으로서 궁극적으로는 통합된 단일 네트워크 플랫폼으로 발전해 갈 것으로 보인다. 본 논문에서는 IP기반의 통합서비스를 제공하기 위하여 실질적인 GoS 제공 기술, 프로그래머블 스위치 네트워크 구조 기술과 통합 호 제어 처리 기술을 포함하는 차세대 통합 LAN에 관한 연구결과를 제시하고자 한다.

다양한 서비스들의 조합인 컨버전스 서비스의 중요성이 날로 커지고 있다. 본 연구는 컨버전스 서비스 사례 중 하나인 텔레매틱스 서비스를 정보서비스, 엔터테인먼트 서비스로 분류하고 이들의 만족도와 디자인, 가격 요인이 기술수용 모형의 요인인 인지된 용이성, 인지된 유용성 및 구매의도와 어떤 관계를 이루는지를 실증하였다. 구조방정식을 통해 요인들간의 경로를 분석한 결과 서비스의 만족, 디자인 요소가 인지된 유용성에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 못하고, 인지된 용이성에만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 운전 중에 사용하는 텔레매틱스 서비스 특징상 고객들이 이용하기에 쉬운 것이 강조되어야 함을 의미한다.

로봇 분야는 새로운 IT의 융합 가능성이 가장 큰 산업으로 주목받고 있으며, 최근 새로운 통신 기술과 클라우드 등이 등장하면서 융합로봇 서비스에 변화가 있을 것으로 전망되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 고령화 사회에서 클라우드 및 로봇산업의 환경, 클라우드 기반 로봇산업 서비스 제공가치와 특징, 시장에서의 고객 니즈 및 가치사슬의 분석을 통하여 클라우드 서비스 기반의 로봇산업 분야의 새로운 비즈니스 모델을 위한 설계 프레임워크를 제안하고, 또한 가치 및 고객만족도 등을 통해 제안된 비즈니스 모델의 평가를 위한 프레임워크를 설계한다. 본 연구는 클라우드 및 로봇 서비스 제공 기업들이 새로운 서비스 모델 개발 및 마케팅 전략 수립에 있어 의미 있는 도움을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

Information technology (IT) convergence have been recognized one of the key drivers in the industry perspective. Especially, IT convergence have been one of the most important innovative way for defense sector. Korea government established IT convergence policy in 2008 and have been applying it to the core industry such as automotive, shipbuilding and defense industries. Recently, the creative vitamin project has been launched. Vitamin 'D' means the way to create the value of defense industry. This research analyzes and evaluates various IT convergence business models based on an operation of defense IT convergence center from 2011 to 2014, which is the industry IT convergence centers. Defense IT convergence business models can be classified into four types of mission area as follows : weapon acquisition and management, military intelligence, military power construction, and resources management. We define the concept of defense IT convergence and describe the framework and processes for applying IT to the defense sector. We analyzes and evaluates various business models designed through defense IT convergence framework and processes.

U-City 서비스로 대표되는 첨단 공간서비스는 그동안 10여년의 많은 노력과 예산투자의 결과로 가시화된 국토정보화(National Digitalization)의 결실로서 평가될 수 있다. U-City서비스는 정보통신기술을 근간으로 하고 있으나 현실공간의 지능화 측면에서 그 개념상 공간정보와 또 그것을 기반으로 국토공간을 분석하고 활용하기 위한 국토 공간계획과 긴밀한 연계관계를 갖지 않을 수 없다. 그러나 아직까지 U-City서비스는 기존의 공간정보 및 공간계획과 명확한 상호관계 설정 및 각 분야간 계획, 구축 및 관리간 연계가 미흡한 실정에 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 주요 목적은 디지털융합시대의 국토 유비쿼터스화라고 하는 큰 명제하에 U-City서비스가 국토 공간정보 및 공간계획과 상호 유기적 연계관계를 가지고 발전할 수 있도록 하기 위한 디지털융합공간(Digital Convergence Space)의 신개념을 제안하고 그 구현을 위한 제도적 정비방안을 제시하는데 있다.

Considerations for user-centric environments are regarded as essential for the successful deployment of convergence services in BcN. Event driven service (EDS) is regarded as a typical convergence service converging different functions of multiple service providers to support user-centric environments. This paper first describes the deployment model and service scenario of EDS, a convergence service for user-centric environments in BcN. The user-centric environments stimulates the unified identifier management, namely unified identification (U-ID), to enable users to be provided convergence services without awareness of multiple providers. Then the designed structure and implementation results are given.

The latest advances in great revolution for digital media and contents industries with Ubiquitous era. Because of spread and supply of various multimedia devices with combination digital with network, we need various type of digital contents. The Digital contents consists of Middleware industries, network business, contents service presenters and users. For supporting digital media. contents and media devices have been converging Digital contents convergence has been proceeding rapidly in media, broadcast and communication field. And also, whole Environment for these industries has been changing, too. Wee need another digital contents convergence for new type of products and services because of convergence of IT and broadcast. In addition, new business trends is very important about these new industrial change and developments with digital contents convergence.

The interest and importance of the convergence services for healthcare expand more and more as the average life expectancy increases. Convergence of ICT and healthcare technology unfold efficient and quick health services. Recently, healthcare services provide to clients with apps over web. On-demand wireless data broadcast supports any number of clients to access their desired data items dynamically by responding the needs for data items from the clients. In this paper, we propose an on-demand system to broadcast FHIR bundles for efficient healthcare services. We use time-parameterized replacing policy for renewing the bundle items on the wireless broadcast channel. The policy lets the on-demand broadcasting dynamic by controlling the time duration for the bundles to reside over the wireless channel. With simulation studies using an implemented testbed, we evaluate the performances of the proposed system in access time and tuning time. For evaluation, we compare the time-parameterized replacing policy of the proposed system with regular-number replacing policy. The proposed time-parameterized replacing policy shows shorter access time than the regular-number replacing policy because the policy responds more actively and dynamically to the change of the needs of the clients for FHIR bundles.

Network convergence is regarded as the development tendency of the future wireless networks, for which self-organization paradigms provide a promising solution to alleviate the upgrading capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operating expenditures (OPEX). Self-optimization, as a critical functionality of self-organization, employs a decentralized paradigm to dynamically adapt the varying environmental circumstances while without relying on centralized control or human intervention. In this paper, we present comprehensive surveys of heterogeneous networks (HetNets) and investigate the enhanced self-optimization models. Self-optimization approaches such as dynamic mobile access network selection, spectrum resource allocation and power control for HetNets, etc., are surveyed and compared, with possible methodologies to achieve self-optimization summarized. We hope this survey paper can provide the insight and the roadmap for future research efforts in the self-optimization of convergence networks.

Influences of convergent services on the overall industry has become noticeable. Various services are becoming to converge into a single platform because of ever-hanging needs of digital service users. However, few studies have investigated how users' perception of convergent services as well as the quality of experience that service users have while using the convergent services. Therefore, this study aims at identifying perceived patterns of convergent services by IPTV users, which is one of the representative convergent-ervice platforms. It also aims at identifying the impact of perceived convergence pattern on the relationship between goal congruency among individual services and the quality of user experience. Two empirical studies were conducted to accomplish the research goals. We have constructed two prototypes of convergent digital services in the IPTV environment and conducted controlled experiments to verify the research hypotheses. The results indicate that design similarities of two services substantially influence the perceived patterns of convergent services. It was also found that the perceived convergent patterns have significant moderating effects on the impact of perceived goal congruence upon the quality of user experience. This paper ends with limitations as well as implications of the study results.
