Since the solution vector for input-output forecasting models is not directly obtainable, several iterative procedures have been proposed and utilized. As is often the case in numerical analysis, the question of the consistency between the original system and the converged system of the proposed iteration has been ignored, and no one has tried to express the converged solution explicitly. This paper examines this question and points out the inconsistencies between various well-known iterative procedures used to solve input-output models and the original input-output system.

This paper Introduces an electronic auction service to be provided on Interactive TV (T-auction). This converged service is expected to much enhance the quality of the service to current online auction users through vivid visualization and live Interactive experience. Our study focuses on how the characteristics of the interactive TV-based shopping platform can affect users' attitudes towards the converged service. To develop our proposed research model, we extended the technology acceptance model and integrated it with a hedonic factor, or perceived enjoyment to reflect the dual characteristics of the converged system. We also adopted the variable of intermediary trust In the service as a critical mediating determinant for a successful commutations-mediated commerce. The research model was verified with an empirical study conducted on 970 Korean online auction users. Results show that both trust and perceived usefulness positively affect user adoption of the service. Trust had not only a direct effect on users' attitudes toward T-auction but also an indirect one by mediating the service quality, information quality, perceived enjoyment and ease of use. Meanwhile, the hedonic factor of T-auction contributes to increasing both the level of the intermediary's trust and its perceived usefulness. Users' enjoyment also was found to help form a positive attitude toward T-auction services. Theoretical and practical implications of this study for current e-auction service providers and potential t-auction service providers are also discussed.

This research compares the subjects of "Integrated Science" and "Converged Science" in the 2015 Revised National Curriculum, through core concepts. The content priorities and levels of integration of each core concept were evaluated through an analytical framework, and visualized using two-dimensional visualization matrix of the content priorities and the levels of integration. The results show that "Integrated Science" had fewer core concepts, higher in priorities and slightly lower levels of integration than "Converged Science". This can be an evidence that "Integrated Science" is excellent in rigor and not so much inferior in relevance. And also, through visualization of analysis results, the characteristics of integrated subjects could easily be understood and compared.

The purpose of this research is to analyze converged factors affecting compassion competence in clinical nurses. This is a descriptive correlation research to examine converged factors affecting compassion competence of clinical nurses. Research objects are 233 nurses working in three general hospitals located in Chungnam province, and who understand the purposes of this research and agree to participate in this research. To analyze the data, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis were used. The variable which has the greatest effect on compassion competence was compassion satisfaction, followed by clinical experience, compassion fatigue, with those 3 variables explaining 34.4% of compassion competence. Therefore it is necessary to develop specific education programs to improve compassion competence of nurses. Since the explaining power of three variables to compassion competence is 34.4%, it is necessary to add more meaningful variables to explain compassion competence of clinical nurses.

Today's security initiatives tend to integrate the physical and information securities which have been run by completely separate departments. That is, the converged security management becomes the core in the security market trend. However, to the best of our knowledge, we cannot find any solutions how to combine these two security events for the converged security. In this paper, we propose an information security object-driven approach which utilizes the physical security events to enhance and improve the information security. For scalability, we also present a systematic method using the analytic hierarchy process finding the meaningful event combinations among the large number of physical security events. In particular, we show the whole implementation processes in detail where we consider the information security object 'illegal computing system access' combined with two physical security devices - access controller and CCTV+video analyzer system.

In this paper, a new forming process of large-size forgings of converged nozzle-shape is developed by the experimental study using the incremental forging method and combined forming method. The development of the forming process is focused on the manufacturing of large-size forgings by the press with medium load capacity. Various related processes are proposed and modelling experiments using plasticine are carried out. Thus, the incremental forging method for expanding is recommanded from the study of formability and forming load, etc. The selected process is then subjected to modelling experiments of lead and the design parameters such as preform for final process, die-width of the upper die and reduction amount of each stroke are determined. In order to verify the effectiveness of the selected process, 1/7 scale prototype experiment of the real material is carried out. Forgings of converged nozzle shape can be produced by the developed process within the limit loads and with the simple tools.

This paper proposes the architecture and major functionalities of IT converged smart outdoor exercise equipment and health cashback system. It provides basic information such as date, time, weather information, and display the amount of exercise, thermal images for monitoring the change of user's body temperature and health cashback point. The amount of exercise is transferred to a health cashback server via mobile communication network and the server provides the exercise history and health cashback point. Also, as additional public services, a fine dust alarm light and an emergency alarm function are embedded. The proposed IT converged smart outdoor exercise equipment will be a reference model for studying and commercializing the next generation product.

The purpose of this study was to analyze needs of convergence education on engineering and human resource development (HRD) for students in H university for increasing creative problem solving skills. To achieve the research purpose, needs analysis was conducted to students through in-depth interview about students' project experience for graduation in H university. The research finding shows that the converged areas between engineering and HRD are: connecting technologies to social context, problem solving skills, leadership, communication skills, and teamwork skills. Based on the derived five converged areas, objectives and method of the engineering-HRD convergence education are discussed. As an effective teaching and learning method, a problem-based learning and a project method are suggested. Finally, considerations for successful implementation of the engineering-HRD convergence education are discussed.

This research is to substantially analyze the economic value of portable Internet (WiBro), WCDMA High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA), WiBro+VoIP, and WiBro+DMB regarded as the next generation of broadcasting. Based on the empirical analysis of economic values, we provide the optimal paths of converged communications and broadcasting services related to WiBro. 1,000 Internet users in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas were surveyed in their homes. The collected survey was calculated as an accurate economic value distribution for relevant services, and the average and mean were taken using a parametric logit model, semi-parametric Spike model, and nonparametric Turnbull and Kernel estimations in order to analyze the contingent economic value of the amount offered to the subjects of the analysis. The contingent value analysis results varied slightly according to the different methodologies; however, all showed the following common features. The economic value of WiBro, Internet-based WCDMA, VoIP, and DMB with WiBro appeared to be similar. Therefore, if WiBro and WCDMA (HSDPA) form a competitive relationship, the types of bundled services offered as portable Internet service and the supply point of such bundled services are expected to emerge in a strategic plan for stimulating service markets and the prior occupation of the market.

This study aims to analyze of the impact of converged information with tourism and Bus Information on recreational bus travel. The research has conducted as the following process : A survey was implemented that the user preference behavior as if they were provided a converged information with tourism and bus information on bus usage. As a result, we found that able to using mobile media, having a experience visiting the tourism site, evaluate willingness to pay of the information highly, the 20s age, increasing income variables are concerned with positive relation, and the factors which are using the main mode by auto and having a auto are negative relation on bus usage actively.
