단순한 자동동조 PID제어기의 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of Simple Auto-tunig PID Controller)

  • In this paper, we present a simple auto-tuning PID controller using genetic algorithms. The basic idea of the scheme is to parameterize a Ziegler-Nichols-like tuning formula by a single parameter ${\alpha}$, then to use GA to select optimal tuning parameter. Also, simple rule mechanisms make the controller adapt against large variations in parametric and dynamics uncertainties in the plant. These scheme lead to improved performance of the transient and steady state behavior of the closed loop system, including processes with long delay-time and nonminimum phase systems.

  • 본 논문에서는 유전 알고리즘을 사용하여 PID의 각 계수를 자동적으로 조정함으로써 DC 서보모터의 속도제어에 적용하였다. DC 서보모터는 산업현장 및 로봇분야에 널리 적용되고 있으며 적절한 제어성능을 얻기 위하여 많은 시행착오에 의한 다양한 제어방법이 사용되고 있다. 그러나 산업현장, 플랜트의 변화 및 외란에 강인한 제어알고리즘을 선택하기가 매우 어려우며 많은 시행착오를 통하여 원하는 계수값을 얻어 낼 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하고 DC 서보모터의 제어성능을 향상시키기 위하여 유전 알고리즘을 적용함으로써 우수한 응답특성을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, recurrent artificial neural network (RNN) based self tuning speed controller is proposed for the high performance drives of induction motor. RNN provides a nonlinear modeling of motor drive system and could give the information of the load variation, system noise and parameter variation of induction motor to the controller through the on-line estimated weights of corresponding RNN. Thus, proposed self tuning controller can change gains of the controller according to system conditions. The gain is composed with the weights of RNN. For the on-line estimation of the weights of RNN, extended kalman filter (EKF) algorithm is used. Self tuning controller that is adequate for the speed control of induction motor is designed. The availability of the proposed controller is verified through the MATLAB simulation with the comparison of conventional PI controller.

  • Mutiresolution proportional-integral-derivative(MRPID) 제어기는 웨이브렛 기반의 다해상도 응답을 이용해서 에러 신호에 포함되어 있는 잡음과 외란을 제거하는 필터 역할을 해준다. 다해상도 응답의 특징상 샘플링 주파수가 높을 경우 상대적으로 고주파성분이 남아있음으로 인해 응답속도가 떨어지는 대신에 오버슈트가 제거되고, 낮을 경우 신호 성분이 제거되므로 인해 응답속도가 향상되지만 오버슈트가 증가 되는 결과를 보였다. 본 논문에서는 proportional-integral-derivative(PID) 제어기와 MRPID 제어기의 응답을 이용한 샘플링 주파수를 설정하는 기법과, MRPID 제어기의 특성을 고려한 파라미터 설정기법을 제안한다. 모의실험을 통해서 제안된 기법의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • In this paper, we propose a method which control parametric uncertainty systems using PID controller by fuzzy auto tuning. We get the error and the error change rate of plant output correspond to the initial value of parameter using the Ziegler-Nickols tuning and determine the new proportional gain$(K_p)$ and the integral time $(T_i)$ from fuzzy tuner by the error and error change rate of plant output as a membership function of fuzzy theory. The Fuzzy Auto-tuning algorithm for PID controller operate to adapt variable parameter of plant in parametric uncertainty systems. It is shown this method considerably improve the transient response at computer simulation.

  • In this thesis, a self-tuning control method based on Variable Structure System technique for tracking control of Direct-Drive motor is presented. The self-tuning control could not make the tracking error zero in the transient period. This tracking error may be due to disturbances or the error in parameter identification. To overcome this problem, a self-tuning control method based on discrete time VSS technique is presented. The STC based on VSS technique gives good tracking performance of the reference signal in the transient period. The proposed controller is robust to parameter errors and disturbances. The performance of the proposed controller is compared with that of simple STC through digital computer simulation.

  • This paper presents a new parameter tuning method for PID controller. The Ziegler-Nichols Parameter tuning has been widely known as a fairly heuristic method to good determine setting of PID controllers, for a wide range of common industrial processes It has a excessive overshoot in the set point response, set point weighting can reduced the overshoot to specified values. It will also be shown that set point weighting is superior to the conventional solution of reducing large overshoot by other method. In this paper, we will modified the Ziegler-Nichols tuning formula by fuzzy set. These method will give appreciable improvement in the performance of PID controllers.

  • A drum level control is one of the most important control systems in thermal power plant. The control objective of drum level of boiler in thermal power plant is to maintain drum level at constant set-point regardless of disturbance such as main steam flow. The implemented drum level controller is the cascade PI controller. The important factor in drum level controller is the parameters of two PI controllers. The tuning of PI controller parameter is tedious and time-consuming job. In this paper, the relay feedback Ziegler - Nichols tuning method extended to auto-tune cascade PI drum level controller. Finally, the simulation result using boiler model in Power Plant shows the validity of auto-tuned cascade PI controller.

  • An adaptive fuzzy P + ID controller for variable speed operation of BLDC motor drives is presented in this paper. Generally, a conventional PID controller is most widely used in industry due to its simple control structure and ease of design. However, the PID controller suffers from the electrical machine parameter variations and disturbances. To improve the tracking performance for parameter and load variations, the controller proposed in this paper is constructed by using an adaptive fuzzy logic controller in place of the proportional term in a conventional PID controller. For implementing this controller, only one additional parameter has to be adjusted in comparison with the PID controller. An adaptive fuzzy controller applied to proportional term to achieve robustness against parameter variations has simple structure and computational simplicity. The controller based on optimal fuzzy logic controller has an self-tuning characteristics with clustering. Computer simulation results show the usefulness of the proposed controller.

  • In this paper, Model following PID control system, which is combined PID controller with Model Reference Adaptive Controller, is proposed. To decrease complex and much calculation which is produced in tuning process, the tuning method of parameter with fuzzy algorithm is introduced. Fuzzy algorithm isn't used in the form of controller generally much used, but tuner. Experimental results show that proposed controller has the PID parameter be tuned by fuzzy algorithm. Therefore, We expect model following PID to be operated in the real-time control.
