u-Conference를 위한 RFID 기반의 실시간 상황 서비스 모델 (Real-time Context Service Model Based on RFID for u-Conference)

  • Recently ubiquitous application services are developed plentifully using RFID techniques in the field of distribution and security industries. However, except these field the applications using RFID are not mature yet. In this study, we proposed a real-time context service model of the u-conference based on the real-time contextual information acquired from conference and exposition. With collection of real-time contextual information for u-conference, the model can provide a lot of information services on the state of session attendee, doorway control, affairs, user certification, presentation progress etc. For the verification of proposed real-time context service model of u-conference, we design and implement the conference progress state service included the state of session attendee, user certification and presentation progress etc. This service provides the presentation state information included the current presenter, the paper list, the number of session attendee, the schedule and place of each session using the collecting RFID tag and the related information.

U-서비스 이용에 영향을 미치는 유비쿼터스 특성에 관한 실증연구 (Empirical Study on the Ubiquitous Computing Characteristics Affecting the Use of U-Service)

  • Ubiquitous computing is enhancing computer use by making many computers available throughout the physical environment, but making them effectively invisible to the user. To facilitate the successful adoption and diffusion of ubiquitous computing, it is necessary to figure out the factors affecting the use of U-service. Though the research related to ubiquitous computing has been vigorously conducted from the aspect of system and service provider, there have been very few studies that focus on the user's perspective. Therefore, this study attempts to figure out major factors which are dedicated to the development of ubiquitous computing and u-service, and that ultimately influence the u-business outcome. This study derived the factors that characterize u-service, such as ubiquity, contextual offer, reliability, invisibility, and confidentiality, which are then combined in the TAM model and carry out the path analysis. The research findings indicate that ubiquity affects both the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. The reliability and confidentiality were found to affect the perceived usefulness, whereas the contextual offer and invisibility turned out to influence the perceived ease of use. Finally, the relationship among the perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and the attitude toward using are identical with the previous research findings related to the technology acceptance model(TAM).

Factors Affecting User Acceptance of Mobile Commerce Services

  • Growth in the use of mobile commerce services (MCS) as an enabler to conduct business more effectively has been phenomenal. Technology acceptance model (TAM) has been applied in different contexts to examine a wide range of information technology. As more and more companies are finding ways to utilize MCS, an important issue is to understand what factors will affect the decisions of consumers in adopting the services. Based on TAM with two additional groups of external factors (i.e., service-related factors [ubiquitous access and contextual service] and technology-related factors [perceived security risk and network connectivity]) that are theoretically justified to affect both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, which are also considered, a research model for the investigated technology acceptance was developed and empirically examined. The major results of this study are as follows. First, ubiquitous access affects perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Contextual service affects perceived usefulness. Second, perceived security risk affects perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Finally, network connectivity affects perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use.

상황 정보를 이용한 개인화 추천 방법 개발 (A personalized recommendation procedure with contextual information)

  • 최근 개인 단말기의 보급과 객체간의 네트워크 연결이 확산됨에 따라 방대한 양의 상황 정보들이 수집되고 있지만 역설적으로 사용자들과 서비스 제공자들은 정보의 홍수 속에서 종종 잘못된 의사결정을 내리고 있다. 이러한 정보 과부하 문제를 해결하기 위해 추천 시스템은 좋은 대안이 될 수 있지만 전통적인 추천 시스템은 다양한 형태의 상황 정보 사용에 한계를 보이고 있다. 또한 획득 가능한 상황 정보가 다양해지고 방대해짐에 따라 이를 활용한 추천 시스템은 복잡성의 문제를 해결해야 하며 지속적으로 변화되는 사용자 선호 및 상황에 부합할 수 있도록 실시간 서비스가 가능하도록 설계되어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 상황 영역의 개념을 기반으로 한 상황 인식 추천 서비스 방법론을 제안하여 추천 시스템에서 상황정보를 활용하는 한편 복잡성 및 실시간 서비스 제공의 문제를 해결하려 한다. 먼저 적절한 해석과 구조로 상황 데이터를 사용자 프로필에 반영할 수 있도록 상황 영역 개념에 기반한 프로파일링을 제안함에 따라 기존의 상황 인식 추천 시스템이 가지고 있던 복잡성의 한계를 해결하고자 한다. 다음으로 목표 사용자의 상황 영역에 기반한 이웃 집단 탐색으로 추천 시스템의 희박성과 신규 사용자 문제를 해결하는 한편 현재의 상황 정보에 대한 해석으로 도출되는 상황 지지 점수를 기반으로 한 추천 목록을 생성하여 실시간 서비스가 가능한 방법론을 제안한다. 결론적으로 본 연구에서 제안하는 방법론은 추천 시스템의 적용 영역을 확장하는 연구가 될 것으로 기대되며 새로운 기술 출현을 고려한 유연한 모델을 제안함에 따라 마케팅 담당자나 서비스 제공자들이 쉽게 본 연구에서 제안하는 방법론을 적용할 수 있으리라 판단된다.

O2O 서비스의 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors Affecting the Intention to Use O2O Services)

  • In recent years, O2O (Online to Offline) services get a lot of attention to improve the trust in online shopping and minimize the inconvenience and the cost burden in offline shopping as the number of consumers, who do not show concern about the purchase platform like online or offline, increases. Even though the services have been getting the spotlight as a strong business platform for next generation commerce, there have been only a few studies on the O2O services. The purpose of this research is to investigate the factors which affect the consumer's intention to use location-based O2O services. The study is based on VAM (Value-based Adoption Model) which is able to analyze those factors from the aspects of benefit and sacrifice. We used the partial least squares (PLS) method for empirical analysis, and the result shows that contextual offers, instant connectivity, webrooming and economic efficiency, which fall under the benefit, affect perceived value positively while annoyance and face consciousness, which fall under the sacrifice, do not affect perceived value significantly. In addition, contextual offers and instant connectivity affect trust positively. Location accuracy, which falls under the benefit of location-based O2O service, do not significantly affect perceived value and trust while security risk affects trust and use intention negatively. It appears that trust affects perceived value and use intention positively.

  • Context-awareness techniques in ubiquitous computing environment provide various services to users who need to get information via the analysis of collected information from sensors in a spatial area. Context-awareness has been increased in ubiquitous computing and is applied to many different applications such as disaster management system, intelligent robot system, transportation management system, shopping management system, and digital home service. Many researches have recently focused on services that provide the appropriate information, which are collected from Internet by different kinds of sensors, to users according to context of their surrounding environment. In this paper, we propose an abstraction model to manage the large-scale contextual information and their metadata which are collected from different kinds of in-situ sensors in a spatial area and are presented them on the web. This model is composed of the modules expressing functional elements of sensors using sensorML(Sensor Model Language) based on XML language and the modules managing contextual information, which is transmitted from the sensors.

암환자의 질병단계와 진료단계의 상황변화에 따른 서비스요인에 관한 연구 (Analysis of Service Factors in Relation to Disease and Treatment Stages of Cancer Patients)

  • Hospitals tend to provide uniformed service to patients despite their various demands stemming from the severity of disease stages or the uncertainties in information of treatment stages. To identify service factors and provide effective contextually aware service models that patients demand depending on their evolving circumstances, the study conducted a survey on service quality based on importance and satisfaction of cancer patients. The study surveyed 286 patients and caregivers on importance and satisfaction through a questionnaire comprising of 17 questions at the outpatient clinic of cancer centers of university hospitals in 5 cities. Based on the risks of the disease and uncertainties in information of treatment stages, the cancer patients were grouped into diagnosis stage; low-risk treatment stage; high-risk treatment stage; stabilization stage. Depending on the patient's situation, the importance and satisfaction of service factors were ranked. These factors were categorized into 4 groups from a managerial perspective into 'keep it up area', 'focus here area', 'low priority area', 'overdone area'. This study provides an effective medical service model that can accommodate patients based on management areas of cancer patients.

  • 초기에 예측하지 못한 환경에 대응하기 위한 핵심 요소로 비즈니스 활동 모니터링이 주목받고 있다. 그러나 기존의 이벤트 처리 기반 모니터링 시스템과 실시간 조기 경보 비즈니스 활동 모니터링은 고정된 환경을 가정하여 설계 시 룰 기반으로 표현하여 경보 여부를 결정하거나, 이벤트 속성값이 입력되는 매시점마다 측정하여 경보를 내리게 된다. 따라서, 복잡한 환경에서의 새로운 외부 상황 문제에 대한 발생 범위와 심각한 정도 등을 판별하는데 한계가 있으며, 추상화하지 못한다. 본 논문에서는 외부에서 발생하는 새로운 시나리오의 서비스 요구를 기존의 실행중인 모니터링을 통해 지속적인 서비스 제공을 보장하도록 목표 시나리오를 이용한 비즈니스 프로세스 외부상황 평가 모델을 제안하였다. 외부 상황에 따른 새로운 요구사항을 목표 시나리오 기반으로 분석을 하고, 유사 프로세스 모델을 찾아 유사도와 연관도를 합하여 파악한 뒤 프로세스를 사전에 중단 시키거나 원하는 방향으로 변경하도록 한다.

Document Classification Methodology Using Autoencoder-based Keywords Embedding

  • 본 연구에서는 문서 분류기의 정확도를 높이기 위해 문맥 정보와 키워드 정보를 모두 사용하는 이중 접근(Dual Approach) 방법론을 제안한다. 우선 문맥 정보는 다양한 자연어 이해 작업(Task)에서 뛰어난 성능을 나타내고 있는 사전학습언어모델인 Google의 BERT를 사용하여 추출한다. 구체적으로 한국어 말뭉치를 사전학습한 KoBERT를 사용하여 문맥 정보를 CLS 토큰 형태로 추출한다. 다음으로 키워드 정보는 문서별 키워드 집합을 Autoencoder의 잠재 벡터를 통해 하나의 벡터 값으로 생성하여 사용한다. 제안 방법을 국가과학기술정보서비스(NTIS)의 국가 R&D 과제 문서 중 보건 의료에 해당하는 40,130건의 문서에 적용하여 실험을 수행한 결과, 제안 방법이 문서 정보 또는 단어 정보만을 활용하여 문서 분류를 진행하는 기존 방법들에 비해 정확도 측면에서 우수한 성능을 나타냄을 확인하였다.

To facilitate successful adoption and diffusion of ubiquitous systems, it is important to find out the factors affecting their uses. Although researches related to ubiquitous computing have been vigorously conducted from the aspect of system and service provider, there have been very few studies that focus on the user's perspective. This study attempts to find out major factors which are dedicated to the development of ubiquitous systems and services and the relationships between these factors and user satisfaction factors. This study derived the specific factors that characterize ubiquitous services, such as ubiquity, contextual offer, user affinity, privacy, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. We also considered service quality factors of ubiquitous services. Then these factors were combined with the Expectation Confirmation Theory (ECT) model and the path analysis was applied to find out the factors affecting user satisfaction and the intention to use the systems. The research findings indicate that ubiquity, contextual offer, privacy, reliability, and responsiveness affect the perceived usefulness. The perceived ease of use and confirmation were found to affect the perceived usefulness. The perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and confirmation fumed out to influence the satisfaction. It turned out that the result of this study on the relationship between the perceived usefulness and user satisfaction was identical with the findings in previous related ECT researches. We think this study makes two significant contributions to the development of ubiquitous services. First, this study provides basic implications for better ubiquitous services by considering important characteristics of ubiquitous systems as services. Second, this study also suggests important factors that need to be considered when ubiquitous service providers develop new ubiquitous services to improve user satisfaction and the intention to use the services.
