노인학대 인식과 도움요청 태도에 관한 연구: 여섯 가지 노인학대 시나리오를 중심으로 (Perception and Help-Seeking Behavior among Older Persons: Six Hypothetical Elder Mistreatment Scenarios)

  • 본 연구는 노인학대 유형에 따른 여섯 가지 시나리오를 사용하여 60세 이상 일반 노인이 생각하는 노인학대 인식과 도움요청 태도를 살펴보고, 노인학대 인식과 도움요청 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 춘천시에 거주하고 있는 60 - 80세 미만 노인으로 성별, 연령대별 동일비율로 할당 표집하여 총 124명에 대해 1:1 면접 조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 여섯 가지 시나리오 상황에서 노인학대에 대한 인식을 살펴본 결과, 신체적 학대, 재정적 학대, 정서적 학대를 비교적 높게 노인학대로 인식한 반면, 노인부부간의 신체적 학대, 며느리에 의한 방임, 노인의 자기방임에 대해서는 학대로 인식하는 비율이 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 도움요청 태도에서는 신체적 학대와 재정적 학대 상황에서는 도움을 요청하겠다는 의사를 강하게 나타낸 반면, 자녀에 의한 방임 및 자기방임 상황에서는 도움요청에 소극적인 태도를 보였다. 셋째, 노인학대 인식에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 신체적 학대에서는 성, 연령, 교육수준이, 며느리에 의한 방임에서는 재정상태, 사회활동참여, 노인부양태도가 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되었다. 넷째, 노인의 도움요청 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 노인학대 인식여부가 모든 학대상황에서 도움요청 태도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 성, 교육수준, 자녀수, 효만족도, 재정상태, 사회활동참여, 노인학대 태도, 노인부양태도가 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구를 통해 한국의 사회문화적 요인이 노인학대 연구에 중요한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났으며, 이를 바탕으로 노인학대 예방교육 등 노인복지현장에서의 구체적 실천방안을 제시하였다.

소셜미디어 텍스트마이닝을 통한 패션디자인 사용자 인식 조사 (A Study on the User Perception in Fashion Design through Social Media Text-Mining)

  • This study seeks methods to analyze users' perception in fashion designs shown in social media using textmining analysis methods. The research methods selected 'men's stripe shirts' as subjects and collected texts related to the subject mainly from blogs. Texts from 13,648 posts from November 1st, 2015 to October 31st, 2016 were analyzed by applying the LDA algorithm and content analysis. As a result, the wearing status per season and subjects of men's stripe shirts were derived. Across the entire period, the main topics discussed by users to be pattern, customized suits, brands, coordination and purchase information. In terms of seasons, spring time showed the sharing of information on coordinating daily looks or boyfriend looks, and during the winter season the information shared were about shirts suitable for special occasions such as job interviews and stripe shirts that match suits. The study results showed that text-mining analysis is capable of analyzing the context and provide a user-centered index responding to demands newly mentioned by users along with the rapid changes in fashion design trends.

E-tail Uses and Gratifications to Understand Apparel Consumers

  • The purpose of the study is to examine the role of consumer perceptions of websites' entertainment and informativeness in developing their attitudes (attitude toward the retailer and attitude confidence toward the product) in the context of apparel e-tailing. A structural equation model was developed for an empirical test based on the literature on uses-and-gratifications and attitude confidence. A sample of 119 consumers who live in the United States participated in the online survey. The results generally supported the proposed model. Specifically, the analyses revealed that consumers' purchase intention toward the displayed product is positively influenced by their attitudes toward the retailer and by their confidence in their attitudes toward the product. Interestingly, only one of the two cognitive antecedents, perceived entertainment, has a positive impact on consumers' attitude toward the retailer. Perceived informativeness, however, had a positive impact on attitude confidence. These findings suggest that consumers who have high perception of an e-tail website's entertainment are more likely to exhibit favorable attitudes toward the e-tailer, while consumers who have high perception of an e-tail website's informativeness are more likely to hold strong confidence in their attitudes toward the product displayed on the website. Both consumer attitudes toward the e-tailer and their attitude confidence lead to their purchase intentions.

자연어 처리를 활용한 메타버스 보도, 연구 간 인식 차이 비교 (Utilizing Natural Language Processing to Compare Perceptions of Metaverse between News Articles and Academic Research)

  • While public interests in the metaverse are growing recently in the Korean media and research, its understanding has not been fully established yet. In this study, we aimed to probe whether the rapid growth in media attention about the metaverse has increased its usage as a buzzword accompanied by an absence of scientific context. We analyzed publications and online news containing "metaverse" from 2020 to 2022. The data analysis methods are 1) time series frequency, 2) keyword network, 3) natural language model. The findings indicate the perception gap about metaverse between research and news articles broadened as its popularity has grown. Research about metaverse gradually expanded its connections with related topics-virtual and augmented realities-focusing on social changes in a remote environment. However, media reporting frequently used "metaverse" as a buzzword rather than explaining its scientific background, stimulating the proliferation of related topics and the dispersion of news content. This study further discusses the need for a media strategy to improve public conception of the long-term development of the metaverse.

Post-COVID-19 Syndrome: The Effect of Regret on Travelers' Dynamic Carpooling Decisions

  • Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has severely curtailed travelers' willingness to carpool and complicated the psychological processing system of travelers' carpooling decisions. In the post-COVID-19 era, a two-stage decision model under dynamic decision scenarios is constructed by tracking the psychological states of subjects in the face of multi-scenario carpooling decisions. Through a scenario experiment method, this paper investigates how three psychological variables, travelers' psychological distance to COVID-19, anticipated regret, and experienced regret about carpooling decisions, affect their willingness to carpool and re-carpool. The results show that in the initial carpooling decision, travelers' perception gap of anticipated regret positively predicts carpooling willingness and partially mediates between psychological distance to COVID-19 and carpooling willingness; in the re-carpooling decision, travelers' perception gap of anticipated regret mediates in the process of experienced regret influencing re-carpooling willingness; the inhibitory effect of experienced regret on carpooling in the context of COVID-19 is stronger than its facilitative effect on carpooling willingness. This paper tries to offer a fact-based decision-processing system for travelers.

News-Finds-Me Perception in Digital Era: A Systematic Review from Retail Marketing Perspective

  • Purpose: The concept of News-finds-me Perception (NFMP) is gaining increasing scholarly interest due to its wide-ranging findings and implications in digital communications and marketing. From the retail marketing and communication approaches, social media is an effective tool to effectively communicate and persuade customers and stakeholders. Nevertheless, a scarcity of systematic review studies that systematically assemble prior research in the field is recognized. Consequently, this research investigated the Scopus database for articles pertaining to NFMP. Research design, data and methodology: The search was conducted on August 24, 2023, retrieving 46 documents. Following a data-cleaning process, 31 documents remained, providing evidence of the subject area's five-year development. The data was refined with OpenRefine and analyzed with VosViewer. Results: An overview of the subject's expansion is presented, which comprises the most cited documents, authors, organizations, journals, and countries. Furthermore, the investigation examines the influential studies that furnished scientists with essential knowledge and identify the current research trend of the research subject. Conclusions: Based on the results, the study proposes theoretical and practical implications, encouraging academics to further integrate the concept with various communication and marketing theories, as well as the retail marketing context, to gain a better understanding of its complex impacts.

Generational Perspectives on Smart Tourism: A Focus on Baby Boomers

  • This study investigates the adoption of technology in smart tourist destinations, with a focus on the Baby Boomer generation. The objective is to analyze the perceived utility, intention to use, and risk perception of this generation regarding Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the context of smart tourist destinations. Data were collected through questionnaires administered to elderly groups belonging to the Baby Boomer generation in two Brazilian cities. Data analysis was conducted using statistical tools such as SPSS and Microsoft Excel, with an emphasis on regression analysis with moderation. The results indicate that when Baby Boomer tourists feel insecure about technology, they tend to not perceive its utility, impacting its acceptance. On the other hand, lower risk perceptions lead to an increase in perceived utility and, consequently, a greater intention to use technology in travel planning. The moderating role of risk perception in the relationship between perceived utility and intention to use is emphasized. The findings highlight the need for managers of smart destinations to consider the risks perceived by tourists, focus on diverse age groups, and implement strategies that address digital exclusion.

TIMSS 결과에 기초한 과학의 정의적 성취 특성 및 과학 교사의 인식 분석 (An Analysis of the Properties of Affective Achievement in Science Based on TIMSS and Science Teachers' Perception)

  • 본 연구에서는 TIMSS 2007 결과 과학 영역의 학업 성취는 높지만 정의적 성취가 서로 다른 국가들을 선정하여 정의적 특성과 관련된 학생 설문 문항을 분석하였다. 또한 우리나라 과학 교사 대상 온라인 설문조사를 통해 과학 교수 학습의 특성과 정의적 성취에 대한 인식을 알아보았다. 학생 설문 분석 결과, 과학에 대한 자신감, 즐거움, 가치 인식 수준이 높은 학생의 비율은 홍콩, 싱가포르, 잉글랜드는 높고 우리나라, 대만, 일본은 그 비율이 낮게 나타났다. 실제 과학 수업의 교수 학습 특성을 보면 우리나라는 실험과 연구 활동이나 실생활 맥락에서의 과학 수업이 잘 이루어지지 않고 있었다. 과학 교사 대상 설문 결과에서 과학에 대한 자신감이 낮은 이유로 과학 내용이 어렵고 흥미롭지 않은 점과 과학 학습을 위한 절대적 시간의 부족을, 과학에 대한 흥미가 낮은 이유로 과학 내용이 어렵고 미래 자신의 진학이나 진로와 관련이 없다고 생각하는 점을 제시하였다. 또한 과학 교과의 가치 인식이 낮은 이유로 진로를 위해 과학을 잘 할 필요가 없어서나 과학이 일상생활에 도움이 되지 않는다고 여기는 점을 제시하였다.

교육과정개발을 위한 학생측면의 기초연구 - 간호학과 학생의 자아개념과 교육자의 인식을 중심으로 - (A Preliminary Study for Curriculum Building in Nursing)

  • This study was conducted to provide information useful in developing a nursing curriculum. The sample consisted of 158 nursing students in Hanyang University and 34 faculty members who has taught them in their college & the practical area. Data were collected by using a structured questionnaire, which consisted of general characteristics of the students & their self-concept, teacher's perception of student's professional roles. The results are summarized as follows; 1. General characteristics of the students When the students applied for the university, they decided what they would specialized in. Because the motive of application for their major was simply based on their high school records, they were admitted to their university without previous knowledge of their major. The reason why they wanted to tranfer to another course after the admission was the same as above. The level of satisfaction of their major was the highest in Freshman, but in other grades the higher the;, grades were, the more they satisfied with their major and they had a better prospects about their speciality. 2. Self-concept in profermance for their major Self-concept in horne aspects was more positive perception than in social aspects & self control aspects. It resulted from tile fact that all students were females and the nursing uniqueness was based on the spirit of humanity & service. The students who had graduated from the high school in rural area wanted to tranfer to another course and taken counsel their personal problems with their parents had higher self-concept in horne aspects. As their grades were higher, the self-concept in social aspects bacame higher. The students who were satisfied with their major and took counsel their personal problems with their parents had more positive self - concept in social aspects. Self-concept in self control aspects was lower than other aspects. The students who didn't take counsel their problems with their parents, were burdened with their educational expenses and their curriculum had more negative self-concept in self control aspects. Therefore the university should be concerned about student's welfare and provide detailed orientation about their curriculum. 3. Teacher's perception about learner's professional role The role model of democratic group leader, role models for learners facilitator in a students' reach for knowledge and teaching based on soundly researched theory showed more positive perception than other factors. Their mean values were over 4. 32. The professionalism of allnurshing area, reinforcement with reinforcement for learning, nursing as part of the meaningful context of the whole showed nagative perception. Their mean values were below 3. 00. Therefore the nurse as a teacher should try to promote the locus of nursing profession and participate in their research actively.

온라인 형성평가에 대한 예비 과학교사의 인식과 실행 사례를 통해 살펴본 교사 교육의 시사점 (Implications for Teacher Education through Pre-Service Science Teachers' Perception and Practice Cases on Online Formative Assessment)

  • 온라인 교수학습 환경으로의 변화에 따라 온라인 형성평가에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있으며, 이에 대한 예비 교사들의 준비가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 교사 교육의 기초 토대 마련을 위해 예비 과학교사 22명을 대상으로 온라인 수업과 온라인 형성평가, 형성평가에 대한 인식을 조사하고, 이를 바탕으로 실행 과정에서 나타나는 주요 사항을 분석하였다. 사전 인식은 개방형 설문을 통해 얻은 응답을 오픈 코딩을 통해 범주화하여 범주별 빈도를 파악하였고, 사전 인식의 범주 분류 결과를 바탕으로 실행의 모습을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 현재 상태와 바람직한 활용 목표 간의 격차를 파악하고, 교사 교육에서 중점을 두어야 하는 사항은 무엇인지에 대해 논의하였다. 연구의 결과, 사전 인식에서는 온라인 수업의 어려움으로 상호작용을 언급하고, 온라인 형성평가의 장점으로 테크놀로지의 활용 및 피드백과 수업 조정을 언급하였다. 지도안과 조별 사전 인식 과정에서는 플랫폼의 테크놀로지를 활용하여 자동화된 피드백을 대부분 활용하였지만, 응답 분석 결과를 활용한 수업 조정과 상호작용이 나타나지는 않았다. 또한 온라인 형성평가의 형성적 기능에 적합하지 않은 활용 방식이 다수 나타났다. 이러한 원인은 예비 교사들의 형성평가 활용에 대한 이해가 부족하고, '평가'의 측면에 치중했기 때문으로 분석된다. 형성평가의 피드백을 통한 '형성적' 기능과 활용 방법에 대한 예비 교사들의 충분한 이해가 바탕이 될 때, 온라인 형성평가의 장점을 활용한 상호작용으로 이어질 수 있다. 따라서 형성평가의 핵심적 기능이 잘 발휘될 수 있도록 형성적 활용에 대한 역량 강화와 실질적 적용 방법에 대한 교육이 예비 교사 교육에서 강조되어야 할 것이다.
