This paper examines what kind of writing ability KEC2005 requires for upper grades of engineering college. According to KEC2005, they need writing ability in the field of majors, especially capstone design subjects as well as general communication skills. An experience on preparing a quasi-research paper has some potential to be better for these demands than other writing training forms. The contents of assignments submitted by the students taking a class 'Writing in Science & Technology' in Seoul National University in 2009 supported this point of view. This paper is about a case study discussing the detailed relationship between KEC2005 and writing, and helps engineering colleges to design their own writing programs.

This study aims to analyze through the integrated textbooks whether writing tasks are designed to be successful in cultivating students' writing abilities in the general-purpose Korean language education. First, we established the concept and the components of the writing task based on the definitions mentioned in previous research. The analysis of the types of writing tasks revealed "free writing" and "imitation and writing" to be the most frequent types of writing tasks in both textbooks. The textbooks have only twenty-one subjects in common. And most instructions provide only themes and genres, excluding the purpose, form, quantity, and time necessary for the article or for comprehending the instructions. In these tasks, the reading passages are most often explanatory text. The scoring criteria and time were not provided for the evaluation criteria and other factors. Therefore it became necessary to express the components of the writing task as explicitly and concretely as possible to improve learners' performances.

This study aims to analyze the types of writing tasks in Korean language and literature majors. There are many foreign students in the department of Korean language and literature. It is important to identify the type of task that is the subject of communication when conducting communication activities in an academic context. In particular, writing tasks are among the most important tasks that learners must perform. This is because most of the tasks assigned within the university curriculum are assigned to writing tasks, and evaluation is often done through learner writing. Therefore, this study investigated the types of tasks to be imposed on Korean Language and Literature majors. As a result, summary is the most frequent type of task in the department of Korean language. And in the department of Korean literature, review is most frequent type of task. The results of this study will help to prepare contents for foreign undergraduates of Korean language and literature majors.

This study investigated the formation of communication education which is based on the contemporary language education. Concretely I watched chronologically the proportion of culture element and behavior element, its change, and the contents of writing education. To achieve this, I took the ancient Greek language education as the main materials. The sophists are right if we think only the empirical world, because of the changeability of external world and the relativity of sense. On the other hand, Platon emphasized the ability of abstract thought which is inherent in the human inside. But today's education only emphasizes the 'expression' which came from the Platonic thought. So students fills their devastated inside with arbitrary idea in this history-forgotten social circumstance. It is very beneficial to make subject have some cultural studies and to enhance the sensation on the world through the writing of representation because these can be good to the growth of subject. It is our-not as educator but as a predecessor of human being-duty to set the catalogue of cultural studies of this age and to make students feel the fundamental harmony and the beauty of the world.

Since textbooks for elementary school mathematics in accordance with the seventh curriculum are 'Class I' textbooks, which are used as one and only one textbooks throughout the country, the following aspects have been considered： In the legal aspect, the contents including the curriculum for mathematics asked of the Writing Committee by the Ministry of Education were reflected; in the aspect of theory of mathematics education, the textbooks are written in a way appropriate to theory of mathematics education; and in the aspect of application of reality, the textbooks are written to help improving mathematics education in classrooms. Therefore, the main frame of writing the textbooks is to make students feel proud enough to say "I have done mathematics", through helping students rationally solve problems surrounding them by themselves with their experiences and activities. In the above viewpoint the following sentence is reflected upon: "Hundred explanations are not equal to one manipulation activity."

The purpose of this research is to improve the writing ability of students by an ideal test model of English writing based on strategies of procedural learning stages enhancing the level of students' writing ability. Assessment of writing in the field of English education has been limited so far to very restricted areas with no appropriate scientific scrutiny. Assessment is really meaningful only when it exactly estimates the ability of students. Since English writing competence has become indispensable in this era of global village, writing instruction should be most emphasized. The most forceful method of busting writing instruction is to utilize the so-called washback effect of testing. So, to develop a good test model of writing, the first thing that is required is to inspect writing strategy in steps and, then, testing itself. First of all, analyzed with a special reference to the 6th high school English curriculum were the goals and contents of the syllabus reflected in one kind of junior high textbook and eight different kinds of senior high textbooks. Then questionnaires on the whole area of writing and tendencies of English writing classes were given to 100 English teachers, 300 students. The results of questionnaires were statistically analyzed. Then, some suggestions and opinions about the questioning method were made: the procedural strategy in steps, English writing instruction and test model of assessment were applied to the syllabus referring to teaching plans. On the bases of the results of the questionnaires, three pretests and a final test of English writing were administered to verify the effect of enhanced English writing competence which had been gradually promoted and, through the promotion, produced the test criteria of English writing. In conclusion, guidance and evaluation of English writing through in steps are really indispensable to increase student's practical ability and, accordingly, we are in need of the development of a testing method of useful writing practiced in school class above anything else. So, it is necessary to further the study on methods to assess writing ability on the bases of participation and fluency of students with their keen interest in English. Also, to intensify the effect of the test model, more accommodating reorganization of syllabus is required in our education. For instance, we need a flexible operation in organizing time units from the current 50 minutes to 100-130 minutes.

With the development of virtual reality (VR)-related technology and the advent of the 5G era, VR-based streaming games or content have been developed and transmitted at high speed. Although VR technology is also being applied in education, health care, manufacturing, and production fields, its main application is for entertainment. VR technology has been developed based on hardware and various contents have been developed accordingly; however, the number of VR content with high entertainment value is insufficient, and there are primarily hands-on contents. In this paper, we propose a method for developing an writing tool that can enhance the productivity in the development and editing of VR content and create VR contents based on a timeline by reflecting the storytelling rather than by a simple empirical type to solve the bias in content style. The proposed VR content writing tool is expected to increase the productivity in VR content development and contribute to the creation of various styles of content. Its implementation can enable developers to create specific stories in a timeline and support several animation effects.

Purpose of this study is to clarify the effect of creative science writing for interest of biology and scientific attitude on high school student. Creative science writing is a learning method to enhance comprehension and expression of thinking of science contents related to daily life. 148 students were recruited and divided into two groups, experimental group were experience creative science writing lessons. On the other hand, contrary group were applied interest enhancement lessons excepted creative science writing activity. To investigate the effect of creative science writing, interest check of biology was used, and scientific attitude test was used to understand changes in student's scientific attitude. Experimental group had taught using creative science writing and their awareness of the instruction was analyzed with questionnaire. As a result of this study, the class based on creative science writing was effective in improving high school students' interest in biology and in particular it was helpful in promoting interest in biology and learning of biology. It suggested that the class based on creative scientific writing used a new teaching method unlike existing methods, caused them to have interest in the instruction by making them express their daily life freely not to memorize learning contents, applied learning contents to daily life through many kinds of writings and then enhanced their interest in biology. Indeed, the class based on creative science writing had the positive influence on changes in the scientific attitude of high school students. Since creative science writing is writing one's own idea through extensive thinking based on learning contents, it was effective in arranging the process of thinking and changing their scientific attitude into positive one. Consequently, it was concluded from the above results of the research that the teaching using creative science writing was available as the effective teaching methods to improve high school students' interest in biology and change their scientific attitude into positive one.

This is an exploratory study based on the literature reviews which examined the possibilities and necessities of multimodal writing curriculum for liberal education. The purpose of this study is to analyze the existing research results which utilized the teaching methods associating music and writing, and to find the educational implications, and finally in terms of writing education, to suggest the possibilities of writing classes' convergent forms with music extracted from the results of the existing studies. Those studies were categorized to four patterns: WAC, effects of therapy, materials for writing, and new literacy. Based on Meyrowitz's perspective, firstly music can be utilized as a circumstance, which means a teacher can indirectly take the emotional, reminding, and healing effects of background musics. Secondly, music can play an important role of materials in thinking and writing, which is the most generally utilized pattern today. The effects are found in all of affective, cognitive, and strategic domains by utilizing music as a sort of reading materials. Thirdly, the convergent writing of music and narrative is suggested. Music is an independent language that can interact with narrative and construct text meanings in this kind of writing classes. These three dimensions of convergence have different perspectives, but sometimes occur at a same time or as a connected pattern. This study proposes that writing teachers need to improve their competence in music as well and to have professional concerns and efforts to develop their convergent writing teaching skills with music for these classes. Finally, this study stresses that team teaching can be an alternative for them.

By the dissemination of the electronic blackboard systems, smart devices, and digital contents, the Korean government is recently conducting the project that replaces the classic education which utilizes paper textbooks with SMART education using various devices. Also, teachers in the field must be easily able to use SMART education infrastructure for the activation of SMART education. Especially, since the electronic blackboard is expected as a education device which will be most common for teachers, the writing software operated on the this device must supports a simple interface. And the usage of it must be simple. In this paper, we developed the writing software for the electronic blackboard which everyone can use easily. Our writing software supports the basic writing function, the human gesture recognition function which recognizes the user gesture and performs works corresponding with that gesture, and the automatic button alignment function based on the frequency of the usages.
