Objectives: The purpose of the study was to develop communication strategies for effective nutrition education targeting pregnant women and to create nutrition education contents. Methods: The format and the contents of online resources on nutrition information for pregnant women provided by reliable institutions were analyzed. Possible solutions to overcome barriers of nutrition education as well as communication strategies for effective nutrition education were identified by a brainstorming process. Based on the communication strategies, contents for nutrition education were created. Understandability, level of interest, applicability to daily life, harmony of text and illustration, and overall satisfaction of the contents were evaluated by dietitians and pregnant women. Results: The four communication strategies were developed; (1) to focus on a few important messages, (2) to provide evidence-based information, (3) to create illustrations or infographics with a minimum amount of text, and (4) to provide tips on how to improve the current diet options. Based on these strategies, the contents were focused on three important nutrients for pregnant women, folate, iron, and calcium. The percentages of the recommended nutrient intakes of the three nutrients on selected menu and its improved version by adding a dish or changing a dish into another dish were calculated and provided. Finally, the contents were delivered as illustrations with a minimum amount of text. Overall, dietitians and pregnant women were satisfied with the contents. Conclusions: The contents developed in this study can be used in a pamphlet or a pregnancy diary, or can be shared in social networking services. Further contents on other nutrients and various menu are expected to be developed using these communication strategies.
In many respects, the current music education contents are learned, based on results and also, education of rhythm, which is an important component of music, is mostly implemented using scores that are based on existing results. In this study, two rhythm education contents were extracted using the number of cases in mathematics, which is a principle of the process of creating a rhythm. First, 16 rhythm education contents were extracted by calculating the number of cases to include a note and a rest in a beat except triplet Rhythm. Second, two-beat 225 rhythm education contents were extracted by calculating the number of cases to connect this one-beat contents. Rhythm education was applied to music majors in their early twenties using these two rhythm education contents and the effect was proven by the rhythmic ability test. As stated above, this study suggests advanced education contents using existing principles, which appear by going back to the basics of rhythm.

Recently, the development of electronic teaching materials and the demand of digital learners have led the needs on the education contents that replace learning from character information and the change of an information design method for this. Chinese character education in the traditional schooling mainly focuses on writing and memorization (semantic memory). This way that the stories do not exist has brought the learners' recognition that Chinese character is difficult to learn. Meanwhile, for a language study such as English, cross-media development between printed materials and audio-visual materials has been actively introduced. The method that extends episode memories along with memorization through a story is widely used. Therefore, this content suggests a prototype, which is broken away from an existing way of learning Chinese character that mainly focuses on writing, one sided instruction and information cramming. This makes learners learn through a story from printed materials and animation. Furthermore, it suggests a method that extends episode memories through Chinese education contents based on IoT explaining the principle of Chinese character by combining IT technology (information and communications, IoT) and education contents on block toys.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a safety education system and its contents for technical high schools including textbooks and instruction manuals for teachers. As an attempt to systematize the environmental education in schools according to the 7th curriculum, this study extracted the contents of environmental education to which Social Studies Education can approach in the social studies lessons. This study analyzed these contents from the goals of environmental education and from its contents and, as a result, it found out the following: (1) in the aspect of ‘knowledge’ and ‘skills’, Social Studies and the goals of environmental education have direct relations with each other, and (2) Social Studies can be taught in the aspect of ‘environmental pollution’, ‘environmental preservation & alternative’ ,‘human environment’, ‘population’, ‘inderstrialization & urbanization, ‘resources’, and so on. By utilizing various teaching and learning methods of Socal studies education, We can approach the goals of environmental education: ‘attitudes’ and ‘participation’. We think that ‘problem solving ability’ is main teaching method” in Socal Studies.
The purpose of this research is to minimize the learning deficiency on science subject in changeover from the 7th education curriculum to the next curriculum which was noticed in 2007. We investigated the contents overlapped or omitted in science contents organization between the two curriculums; moved contents to upper or lower grade, deleted contents, enlarged contents and reduced contents. Also we found that the deficiency will be occurred for the students who entered school in 2006 and 2007 in elementary school. To minimize the learning deficiency in the changeover, we must consider the following points. (1) We need to promote the teachers' comprehension about the learning deficiency and supplementary instruction through the teacher training program before carrying out the next curriculum. (2) We must add the measures minimizing the learning deficiency to the teachers' guide and resources which are used in encouragement of learning and teachers' training. (3) We must develop the instructing materials to supplement the learning deficiency for the students who entered school in 2006 and 2007. As practicing above points, we will be able to reduce time loss in studying and teaching the same contents and to supplement the omitted contents.
The purpose of this study is to prepare educational contents and criteria for selecting advertisement materials by exploring the necessity of value system education in Korean culture education. Furthermore, the study aims to suggest advertisements that contain meaningful materials through the criteria among the public and commercial advertisements as of 2017.
