  • In this paper, a broadband RF module is designed and tested for 2.4GHz band applications. The RF module is composed of a low noise amplifier (LNA) with a three stage amplifier, a single ended gate mixer, matching circuits, a hairpin line band pass filter and a Chebyshev low pass filter to convert the radio frequency (RF) into the intermediate frequency (IF). The LNA has a high gain and stability, and the single ended gate mixer has a high conversion gain and wide dynamic range. In the analysis of the broadband RF module, the composite harmonic balance technique is used to analyze the operating characteristics of an RF module circuit. The RF module has a 55.2dB conversion gain with a 1.54dB low noise figure, $-120{\sim}-60dBm$ wide RF power dynamic range, -60dBm low harmonic spectrum and a good isolation factor among the RF, IF, and local oscillator (LO) ports.

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the effect of team process and affect state on members' organizational commitment. To this end, a valid questionnaire was received from 241 employees working at a company, and the collected questionnaire analyzed the relationship through regression analysis. As a result, we found that all of the team process factors - the conversion process, the execution process, and the interpersonal process - had a meaningful positive effect on organizational commitment. The conversion process had a positive effect on positive-activity and positive-inactivity - which is the types of the members' affect state. The interpersonal process had a positive effect on positive-activity and positive-inactivity, and negative effect on negative-inactivity and negative-activity. And the positive-activity had an intermediation effect on the relationship between team process and organizational commitment. Through this study, the significance of this study can be found in that it suggested the importance of building and managing the team process in order to maximize the efficiency of human resource management in the organization and improve the team effectiveness.

  • Vast amount of XML documents raise interests in how they will be used and how far their usage can be expanded. This paper has two central goals: 1) easy and fast retrieval of XML documents or relevant elements; and 2) efficient and stable management of large-size XML documents. The keys to develop such a practical system are how to segment a large XML document to smaller fragments and how to store them. In order to achieve these goals, we designed SCOF(Service-centric Object Fragmentation) model, which is a semi-decomposition method based on conversion rules provided by XML database managers. Keyword-based search using SCOF model then retrieves the specific elements or attributes of XML documents, just as typical XML query language does. Even though this approach needs the wisdom of managers in XML document collection, SCOF model makes it efficient both retrieval and management of massive XML documents.

  • In a general tendency that DBMS is used as a tool for storing large size of triple knowledge, it still remains in issue that which DBMS schema should be designed for storing, managing, inferring, and querying the triple knowledge efficiently. In this paper, we present, in the view point of efficient query process, a method that processes a query using Expanded Class-Property Views (ECPV) and, as a result, improvement in response time. The response time of DBMS-based inference systems is proportioned to table size and the number of table join operations. The more query is complex, the more join operations it requires, and the longer response time it requires. ECPV is a table obtained by processing possible join operations before queries. To use ECPV in the query process, SPARQL queries should be converted into corresponding ECPV-based SQL queries. This paper describes the conversion process and shows the improvement in response time by experiments.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of feeding dried leftover food (DLF) on growth, body composition and feed conversion of broiler chicks. One hundred ninety-six of one-day old Ross broiler chicks were assigned to 7 treatments in a completely randomized design. Each treatment had four replications with seven chicks per replication. The treatments groups included control without DLF, dietary 10% level of DLF, dietary 20% level of DLF and dietary 30% level of DLF, 5% higher protein level of diet containing 10% DLF, 10% higher protein level of diet containing 20% DLF and 15% higher protein level of diet containing 30% DLF than control diet. Body weight gain was slightly higher in control group than that of DLF-fed groups. However, there were no significant differences in body weight gain among those groups fed diets containing different levels of DLF. In general, increasing dietary level of DLF resulted in decreasing feed conversion. Content of crude protein in whole broiler body was slightly higher in control group although any significant difference was not found among treatments (p>0.05). Content of crude fat in whole broiler body was lowest in groups fed diets containing 30% DLF with 15% higher protein level than control diet, showing significant difference from groups fed diets containing 20% DLF (p<0.05). Contents of total cholesterol, free cholesterol, cholesterol ester and LDL- cholesterol in blood of broilers fed DLF-containing diets generally appeared to be higher compared with control group without significant difference (p>0.05). Fatty acid contents in broiler meat were higher in the order of oleic acid, palmitic acid and linoleic acid without significant differences among treatments. Content of DHA in broiler meat was higher in groups fed diets containing DLF than that of control group although there were no significant differences among treatments (p>0.05).

  • Because of causing the geometrical transformation of the magnetic field, the patient implementing the fixation using the nonmagnetic metal screw causes the magnetic susceptibility artifact at an image. Thus, in this research, the distortion measure of the image according to the frequency oblique direction conversion tried to be compared in the magnetic susceptibility artifact occurence. First, the itself phantom inserting the nonmagnetic metal screw of the titanium component was made and the region of interest was set up and the frequency oblique direction the anterior - back side was converted to the right-to-left direction in the axial image and a right-to-left was converted to the upper side - bottom side in the coronal plane and the upper - bottom side was converted to the anterior - back side in the sagittal plane and the distortion measure of the region of interest was compared, it observed. In a result, when converting the frequency oblique direction, the distortion difference of the region of interest could be confirmed and it is considered to enhance the diagnostics efficiency changing the oblique direction appropriately.

  • Microalgae have the advantages of being able to utilize the solar energy and culturing at a low cost. In particular, microalgae have a great potential in the production of biodiesel due to the high lipid content. Lipids produced from microalgae are converted to fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) by trans-esterification reaction and FAME is called a biodiesel in general. In addition, microalgae can also be utilized as a substrate for ethanol fermentation after saccharification reaction. In this study, three types of microalgae (Nanochloris, Dunaliella tertiolecta, Tetraselmis) were cultured and their lipid contents were compared. In addition, the effects of lighting period on the growth rate and lipid content were studied. Finally, the amounts of glucose produced from each saccharified microalgae were investigated. As a result, we demonstrated that D. tertiolecta has 43.6% higher lipid content and 22% higher glucose conversion than two others.

  • This study, To find practical problems with the imaging of webtoons, propose their alternatives, and secure the professionalism of research along with 22 field experts including writers, directors, producers, investors and importance survey was carried out with 30 practical experts. There were four major interview areas including the stages of imaging production, investment and support for imaging, difficulties with imaging, and improvement of production methods and systems. Responses were collected from a total of 13 questions. All agreed that the biggest difficulty with imaging was a low level of collaboration, but they had different ideas about an ideal collaboration system. A low level of collaboration was mainly attributed to a shortage of professionals and lack of communication. There should be an effort to bring up such experts in three major areas including professional adaptation writers, professional IP producers, and investment agencies specialized in content.

  • This study aims to identify the employment path of vocational instructors using sequential analysis. By grasping the employment path in detail, the study presents implications for implementing support measures for systematic preparation for employment. In particular, the study presents the relationship of the vocational instructor's employment path in stages through frequency analysis, conversion probability analysis, significance test, and conversion status diagram of each employment path. For the analysis, the survey results of the vocational instructors working at private vocational training institutions were used. In conclusion, (i) as for the frequency of past experience for employment as a vocational instructor, the share of work experience, teaching training, and teaching experience was large. (ii) In the employment path stage, work experience, teaching training, and teaching experience had the greatest influence on the transition to the later stage. (iii) The prominent employment path for vocational instructors was "work experience-teaching experience-teaching training." Based on the conclusions, the study proposes a plan for systematic employment of vocational instructors.

  • The electrical conductivity, EC is a major indicator of soil salinity. Measuring EC of saturation-paste extract of soil, ECe, is the standard way to evaluate soil salinity. However much of the data on soil salinity have been obtained by measuring the EC of the 1:5 soil-to-water extract, EC(1:5) or salts contents(%) which multiplied by conversion factor. And, thus we attempted to collect and analysis 90 soil samples at 9 reclaimed tidelands in Korea and to derive a relationship between ECe and dilution factor at ECe and EC(1:5), $DF_{1:5}$ of 3 soil textural conditions and 6 salinity conditions. Regression equations between ECe and $DF_{1:5}$ were obtained $ECe=1.4701ln(DF_{1:5})+5.0974(r^2=0.97^{**})$ in case of more than 50% silt contents, $ECe=2.1399ln(DF_{1:5})+5.3462 (r^2=0.99^{***})$ in case of below 50% silt contents, and $ECe=1.5927ln(DF_{1:5})+5.2486 (r^2=0.98^{***})$ in all cases, and then we suggested the $DF_{1:5}\;and\;DF_%$ of 3 soil textural conditions and 6 salinity conditions.
