  • The requirement of Digital Culture Content(Movie, Music, Animation, Digital TV, Exhibition and etc.) is increasing so variety and quantity of content is also increasing. The Movie what majority of the digital Content is developing of technology and data. In the result, the efficient retrieval service has required and user want to use a recommendation engine and semantic retrieval methods through the recommendation system. Therefore, this paper will suggest analysing trait element of digital content data, building of retrieval technology, analysing and retrieval technology base on KANSEI vocabulary and etc. For the these, we made a extraction technology of trait element based on semantics and KANSEI processing algorithm based on color information.

  • It is important to manage large amount of information from various information providers for supporting recent information services such as providing global research trends, detecting emerging signal and listing leading researchers. For integrated management, definition of integrated metadata schema, data transformation and schema matching are needed. It is first necessary to analyze existing various metadata for defining integrated metadata schema. In this paper, we have analyzed several metadata of scientific journal papers by classifying semantics, content rules and syntax, and looked around considerations to make integrated schema or transform metadata. We have known that XML is used as a syntax for supporting convenience and various usage condition, and hierarchy element names and common elements in semantics are needed. We also have looked at elements having various content rules and related standards. We hope that this study will be used as basic research material of metadata integrated management, data transform and schema matching for interoperability.

  • Useful emails influence on consumers' purchase behavior and activate them to visit retail stores. Regular contact with consumers by e-mail has positive effects on brand loyalty. However, email marketing has a limitation. Spam now accounts for over half of all e-mail traffic. The increase of email users has resulted in the dramatic increase of spam emails during the past few years. In this paper, we proposed an ontology-based system offering personalized email services to overcome such limitation. Our method is not the ontology-driven spam filtering, but a personalized content service considering personal interests and relations among people by using FOAF and domain ontologies. Our system was successfully tested in email marketing domain.

  • Compared with analog broadcasting, digital broadcasting supports technical background to provide personalize the TV watching environment by offering broadcasting services that can adapt to viewers' preferences. However, current digital broadcasting shows limited services such as reservation recording, simple program guiding with an electronic program guide (EPG) on a personal video recorder system, and primitive data broadcasting by broadcasters. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to suggest a new broadcasting environment which gives a person facility and a difference fur watching TV by serving enhanced personalized services. For that reason, we propose an intelligent broadcasting system which can minimize viewer's actions, and enhanced broadcasting services which are based on understanding of the semantics of broadcasting contents. To implement the system, agent technology as well as the MPEG-7 and TV-Anytime Forum (TVAF) are employed. For content-level services, real-time content filtering and personalized video skimming are designed and implemented. To verify the usefulness of the proposed system, we demonstrate it with a test-bed on which content-level personalized services are implemented.
