Single households currently account for 26.5% of all households and their number is expected to continue to rise, reaching 34.5% by 2035. An analysis of the consumption trends and needs of single households shows that they are rising as a new consumer group with a focus on investment on the individual and favouring: small but high-tech products: efficient use of limited resources: safety and peace of mind: self-improvement and leisure. Products which meet such demands are having an impact on the growth of home-furnishing market. An analysis of companies in Korea's home-furnishing market, with examples like the lifestyle company IKEA, shows a variety of brands such as SPA brand, furniture specialist, distributor and character products. And yet most are OEM products which lack differentiated product lines and compete with similar display and distribution structure. We needs the Single household consumption tendency of home-furnishing market and differentiation strategy through product analysis. In order to increase the value of companies in the home-furnishing market, in addition to differentiated design, product competitiveness must aspire to higher customer satisfaction with easy assembly, innovation in logistics, innovative sales methods such as virtual-reality simulation for products and space, individually-tailored furniture for the needs of single household and products which combine smart technology. For home-grown home-furnishing brands to have competitiveness, they must leverage on the strengths of the industry, offering differentiated and competitive products in a wider range of areas with convergence functions as well as differentiation in consumer interface and application of advancing technology; in-depth product research is called for.
Purpose - This study analyzed the decoupling phenomenon between energy consumption and economic growth in Korea from 1990 to 2021. The main purpose of this study is to suggest policy implications for achieving a low-carbon society and decoupling that Korea must move forward in the face of the climate change crisis. Design/methodology/approach - This study investigated the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth by energy source and sector using the energy-EKC (EEKC) hypothesis which included the energy consumption on the traditional Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC), and the impulse response function (IRF) model based on Bayesian vector auto-regression (BVAR). Findings - During the analysis period, the trend of decoupling of energy consumption and economic growth in Korea is confirmed starting from 1996. However, the decoupling tendency appeared differently depending on the differences in energy consumption by sources and fields. The results of the IRF model using data on energy consumption by source showed that the impact of GDP and renewable energy consumption resulted in an increase in energy consumption of bio and waste, but a decrease in energy consumption by sources, and the impact of trade dependence was found to increase the consumption of petroleum products. Research implications or Originality - According to the main results, efficient distribution by existing energy source is required through expansion of development of not only renewable energy but also alternative energy. Additionally, in order to increase the effectiveness of existing energy policies to achieve carbon neutrality, more detailed strategies by source and sector of energy consumption are needed.

Together with housings, general buildings and industrial facilities, multi-purpose complexes are equipped with various and special equipment. They are often used by many unspecified people, which causes an increase in annual electricity consumption. Because of this, a great amount of money has been spent for electric charge, far more in excess of the budget, so a reasonable electricity rate needs to be estimated. In this study, we surveyed the power consumption, average power use, and annual electricity bill of multi-purpose complexes in the past five years. To see the general tendency of the survey, we conducted a statistical analysis with such parameters as average, maximum, and minimum values. Through regression analysis, we could see the trend of the survey in linear way. Based on the survey, we have developed an electric-rate calculation program to estimate the next year's budget on electricity.
The purpose of this paper is to analyze empirically the tendency of household consumption expenditure according to the change of social and economical condition, and the factor which influences consumption expenditure of urban household. The data used in analysis are time-series. The data are statistic form Urban Household Economy Survey published by the Economic Planning Board, dating form the first quarter of 1970 to the fourth quarter of 1989. The income of household and consumption expenditure materials were deflated as consumer price index to exclude the influence of prices and the influence of household composition are considered to deflated as the size of the household under assumption of homogeneity. The consumption expenditure items were categorized to 12 relatively large range items. The time-series data were analyzed by using the Two Stage Least Squares and the Ordinary Least Squares. The following is the result of analysis. 1) Rather than the income increase of previous years. the average income increase for two years influences more significantly on consumption expenditure of household. In the case of influence on consumption expenditure for each item by increase in disposable income, such categories as furniture and utensils. clothing and footwear, housing, medical care, culture and recreation, and transportation and communication have significant influence. 2) Among consumption expenditure categories, the increasing factors were furniture and utensils, and clothing and footwear. And the decreasing factors were housing, medical care, culture and recreation ,and transportation and communication. The relative prices, however, had significant influence on categories such as housing, furniture and utensils, medical care , culture and recreation, and transportation and communication and all of them were the decreation factors. 3) Among with changes of social and economical conditions, miscellaneous showed the highest increase in marginal propensity to consume and foods was the lowest. Also culture and recreation and housing brought up a great change of the income elasticity of demand.

This various factors that affect beef consumption behavior between different types of beef such as Hanwoo, Australian, American, and domestic Yukwoo. Previous studies usually used almost ideal demand system (AIDS) model to show the degree of substitution between meats especially domestic and foreign beef. This a real expenditure each individual and to explain what factors affect consumers especially focusing on various beef. Hence, previous studies used shares and prices as key variableshowever, this study use various socio-demographic variables, consumption tendency, satisfaction and importance for beef consumption, purchasing usage and part, etc. This study a seemingly unrelated regression (SUR) model to enhance efficiency of estimates because error terms of four beef consumption equations are correlated. For, an on-line survey was performed Aug. 5 - 14, and we obtained 979 effective samples. The results show that high income group (more than 700 mil. won per month) purchases more beef than other groups. The origin of orders is Hanwoo, Yukwoo, Australian beef, and American beef. A family who member purchases more Yukwoo than other groups. foreign affects beef consumption regardless of its origin. Individuals who think origin and taste prefer Hanwoo. However, individuals who think price prefer Australian beef.

Value is one of the most useful variable for achieving marketing concept that satisfy consumer needs. The issue related to which value consumers have when they're shopping and which effect this shopping value has on the process of consumer satisfaction formation, would be helpful to understand the post-purchase behavior as well as the process of pre-purchase decision making. Therefore, the objective of this study was to clarify differences in the process of satisfaction formation in relation to the type of shopping value. The study was conducted in three steps. Through the two steps, measurement instruments were developed. At the last step, judgement sampling method were utilized to collect the data and subjects were 614 university students. Factor analysis, cluster analysis, frequencies, t-test, and structural equation model analysis were used to analyze the data. Two groups regarding shopping value were found, which included consumers with hedonic shopping value and consumers with utilitarian shopping value. Overall, the results revealed a similar tendency in the process of satisfaction formation between two groups. But the tendency, which expressive product performance was related to the positive consumption emotion more than instrumental product performance was and instrumental product performance was related to the negative consumption emotion more than expressive product performance was, was clearer in consumers with utilitarian shopping value than in those with hedonic shopping value. In consumers with utilitarian shopping value, expressive product performance has a greater effect on satisfaction than instrumental product performance did, but in consumers with utilitarian shopping value, expressive product performance showed a similar effect on satisfaction with instrumental product performance. Understanding of the post-purchase behavior of the consumers with hedonic shopping value and the consumers with utilitarian shopping value and practical administration of the differences of the two groups would contribute to build useful marketing strategies.

This research focuses on women in their 20s and 30s who have experience in consuming beauty products in the live broadcast of beauty products in China to find out the effects of consumers' consumption propensity on beauty product selection attributes. The data analysis is performed from April 29 to May 25, 2021 by using SPSSWIN 21.0 program for frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability appraisal, technical statistical analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. And the results of the study are as follows: According to the survey, the general characteristics are 20~25 years old, university, and the consumer price is between 500,000 and 1 million won. In terms of consumption propensity that the intrinsic pursuit of consumption, the impulsive consumption, the external pursuit of consumption were on a high average score which was 3.76, 3.63, 3.56 respectively, and in terms of the selection attributes of beauty products that the product intrinsic attributes, and the external attributes of products were on a high average score which was 3.91, 3.69 respectively. The external/internal attributes of beauty product selection attributes are all related to consumption propensity. According to the survey, the external pursuit of consumption, internal pursuit of consumption, and impulsive consumption of the propensity to consume all have a meaningful influence on the external/internal attributes of products. This result proves that the consumption tendency of beauty live broadcast consumers has a huge impact on the selection attributes of beauty products. In this regard, according to the consumption tendencies of Chinese women, the necessity of differentiated live-streaming marketing strategies for beauty products based on the characteristics of beauty product brands, categories, and designs has been proposed.
This study carried out empirical analysis of the effect on conspicuous consumption and purchase intention by social face sensitivity of customers who have eaten at luxury restaurants. Adult male and female customers aged 20~60 years who lived in Seoul and who had experience eating at luxury restaurants were selected as survey participants. The results of this study are as follow. First, social face sensitivity factor had a significant effect on preference for famous brands and seeking fashion. On the other hand, among social face sensitivity factors, shame consciousness had a significant effect on other-oriented conspicuous consumption. Thus, the hypothesis was partially accepted. Second, among social face sensitivity factors, other-conscious social face had a significant effect on purchase intention. Thus, the hypothesis was partially accepted. Third, preference for famous brand and seeking fashion had a significant effect on purchase intention. However, other-oriented conspicuous consumption tendency had no effect on purchase intention. Thus, the hypothesis was partially accepted. If studies on various consumption sentiment variables continue to be made, these may be usefully utilized for establishing marketing strategies of companies.

To solve the lack of housing, our country has supplied an enormous volume of apartments, and these days it occupies 75% of our buildings. As apartments occupy most of our housings, the rate of energy usage from them are also high. On this, setting apartment energy reduction as a target, by researching the actual conditions of energy consumption and drawing a basis data, we can apply this as a way of saving energy, rationalization of the scale of energy supply facilities and a standard when planning facilities. To grasp the present condition of energy usage of the urban rental apartment, this research analysed the use of electricity, gas and water monthly and annually of a rental apartment that is located in Daegu. The results showed that in 2003 the electricity usage was 1,198MWh but 1,315MWh in 2007, which means 9% of electricity usage increases every year. The average of water usage was $85,072m^2$ per year and they used $604.2MJ/m^2$ Typical energy consumption unit on $74.4m^2$ of area and $448.8MJ/m^2$ on $105.8m^2$. By showing the usage of energy and water of the urban rental apartment, understanding the tendency and preparing an Typical energy consumption unit standard through this research, apartments should use energy more efficiently.
The purpose of this study was to review university students' attitudes towards value-based consumption and their influences on it to the types of LOHAS lifestyle. The statistical analysis was based on a questionnaire survey by 275 subjects. Several attitude variables included in the study such as 'attitudes toward LOHAS lifestyle', 'environment', 'charity', 'need of business ethics', 'investment into socially responsible business', and 'good consumption'. By the results of the study, first, students' attitudes and concerns about the environment were positive, however, not expanded to the absolutely positive attitudes for their future society. Second, there is no clear relationship between their participation in the community and their attitudes to the LOHAS lifestyle. Third, university students' consumption was not based on the values of LOHAS, but on the attitudes to their own well-being. Fourth, groups with lower income and with no religious tendency revealed more positive attitudes toward LOHAS lifestyle than other groups. Fifth, there are some relations between LOHAS lifestyle and the individual's economic role performances such as the attitudes to 'environment', 'charity', 'need of business ethics,' 'investment into socially responsible business', and 'good consumption'.
