확장된 목표지향적 행동모델을 적용한 소비자 불매운동의도에 대한 영향요인 연구 (A Study on Influencing Factors on Consumer Boycott intention by Applying Extended Model of Goal-Directed Behavior)

  • This study is to apply a goal-directed model for ethical consumption behavior and to see which factors influence consumers' boycott intention. We identify factors related to a goal-directed model for consumers, level of ethical consumption tendency, and boycott desire; in addition, factors that affect boycott intentions were also analyzed. The results of this study are as follows. First, consumers' boycott intentions are not high and public intention motivation is relatively low. Second, negative anticipated emotion shows an indirect effect with boycott desire as a mediator. Third, ethical consumption tendency has a significant effect on boycott desire and boycott intention. Therefore, we have to let consumers know that boycott actually shows a consumer's right and that it is also necessary to conduct various ethical consumption education.

청소년 소비자의 과시소비 성향과 관련요인 -인천광역시를 중심으로- (The Propensity for Conspicuous Consumption of Adolescent Consumer and Its Related Factors)

  • The objectives of this study are to examine the propensity of conspicuous consumption of adolescent consumers to investigate the effects of demographic variables socio-psychologival variables materialism on the conspicuous consumption of adolescent consumers. The survey of this research was conducted by means of self-administered questionnaire with 483 adolescent consumers attending middle school located in Inchon. Major findings are the following: (1) The propensity for conspicuous consumption of adolescent consumers averages 47.98 points. This score is beyound the middle slightly. (2) According to the results for examining the relative influences of variables affecting conspicuous consumption of adolescent consumers the relative importance stars school education the degree of taking in advertisement attitude of their parents self-esteem materialism gender and educational level of their father. Explanatory power of these variables totalled 70.5%.

How to improve oil consumption forecast using google trends from online big data?: the structured regularization methods for large vector autoregressive model

  • We forecast the US oil consumption level taking advantage of google trends. The google trends are the search volumes of the specific search terms that people search on google. We focus on whether proper selection of google trend terms leads to an improvement in forecast performance for oil consumption. As the forecast models, we consider the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression and the structured regularization method for large vector autoregressive (VAR-L) model of Nicholson et al. (2017), which select automatically the google trend terms and the lags of the predictors. An out-of-sample forecast comparison reveals that reducing the high dimensional google trend data set to a low-dimensional data set by the LASSO and the VAR-L models produces better forecast performance for oil consumption compared to the frequently-used forecast models such as the autoregressive model, the autoregressive distributed lag model and the vector error correction model.

통영지역 임산부의 생선섭취가 제대혈의 수은 농도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Fish Consumption on Umbilical Cord Blood Mercury Level in Pregnant Women in the City of Tongyeong, Korea)

  • 어류는 두뇌발달에 중요한 영양소이기도 하지만 신경독인 메틸수은을 함유하고 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 메틸수은은 임산부가 임신 중에 태아의 두뇌에 치명적인 손상을 유발하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 따라서 연구자들은 생선소비와 임산부 제대혈 중의 메틸수은 함량을 확인하기 위하여 통영지역 임산부 159명을 대상으로 2010년 10월부터 2011년 3월 사이에 임산부의 생선소비와 제대혈의 수은농도의 관계를 조사하였다. 어류소비 관련자료는 설문조사를 통하여 수집하였고 통계처리는 one way ANOVA 를 이용하였다. 조사에 참여한 임산부의 평균나이는 30.1세이었고 임산부 제대혈의 수은 함량은 0.01-14.80 ppb 범위에 평균 $2.69{\pm}2.50ppb$이었다. 제대혈의 평균 수은함량은 WHO 기준인 5.0 ppb를 초과하지는 않았지만 159명 중 17명(10.7%)이 WHO 기준을 초과하였다. 연령별로는 30세 이상이 0.01-14.8 ppb 범위, 평균 $3.18{\pm}2.74ppb$로 29세 이하에서 0-8.00 ppb 범위, 평균 $2.04{\pm}2.00ppb$ 보다 1.6배 높았으며 유의적 차이가 있었다. 이 연구에서 생선섭취가 제대혈의 수은농도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 1주일에 3회 이상 섭취군이 평균 $4.15{\pm}4.02ppb$로 주 1-2회 섭취군의 $2.63{\pm}2.22ppb$, 먹지 않는 군의 $1.60{\pm}1.44ppb$ 보다 2.6배와 1.6배 각각 높게 나타났으며 적게 먹는 군과 먹지 않는 군과의 사이에는 유의적 차이가 없었고, 많이 섭취하는 군과는 유의적 차이 (p < 0.05)가 있었다. 이상의 결과에서 제대혈의 수은 농도는 생선섭취량과 관련이 있는 것으로 판단되며 가임기 여성이나 임산부에게 생선섭취를 제한하는 것이 제대혈의 수은 농도를 낮출 수 있고 향후 있을지도 모를 신생아의 신경발달 장애나 뇌 신경학적 손상을 줄일 수 있는 방법이라고 생각되었다.

비만여대생을 대상으로 카메라폰을 이용한 음식섭취 모니터링 강화에 의한 체중 및 혈청지질 감소 효과 (Effects of Food Consumption Monitoring Using a Camera-Phone on Body Weight and Serum Lipid Level in Obese Female College Students)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of food consumption monitoring using a camera-phone in a weight control program. Twenty-six female college students (>30% body fat) were randomly assigned to the camera-phone and diary (CD) group or diary (D) only group. During the 8-week weight control program, the CD group controlled their food consumption using a camera-phone, in which they took a food picture and uploaded it to the homepage. However, the D group used only a diary to record their food intake. The mean energy intake of the CD group during the program was 1451.9 kcal while that of the D group was 1524.3 kcal. The total energy intakes of both groups significantly decreased during the program. The CD group lost 5.2 kg of body weight and 3.1% body fat while the D group lost 2.2 kg of body weight and 1.1% body fat. The body weight and fat levels significantly decreased in the CD group compared to the D group. The triglyceride, total-cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol levels of the CD group as well as the total-cholesterol level of the D group significantly decreased during the program. The total-cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol levels both significantly decreased in the CD group compared to the D group. In this study, it was concluded that digital photography method using a camera-phone might influence weight control through trained consumption monitoring, which helps individuals reduce discrepancies between perceived and actual consumption levels.

폐경 여성의 우유 섭취와 혈청 지질수준과의 관련성 연구 (An Association between Milk Consumption and Serum Lipid Profiles of Postmenopausal Women in Korea)

  • The aim of this study was to analyze an association between milk consumption and serum lipid profiles in postmenopausal women in Korea. The dietary data by the Food Frequency Questionnaire were evaluated among 208 postmenopausal women who did not receive hormone therapy and their serum concentrations of triglyceride (TG), total, HDL-, and LDL-cholesterol, and alkaline phosphatase were analyzed. When the relationship between milk consumption and serum lipid profiles were analysed by linear regression, we found a negative relationship of milk consumption with ALP and a positive relationship with HDL-cholesterol. Animal calcium intake was significantly correlated with ALP and HDL-cholesterol. In addition, the serum level of HDL-cholesterol of the upper quartile (UQ) subjects who took animal calcium over 313 mg/day was significantly higher than the lower quartile (LQ) subjects who consumed milk below 101 mg/day when we compared the UQ and LQ subjects. The HDL-cholesterol level of the UQ subjects who consumed 235 ml of milk tended to be higher than the that of the LQ who consumed 53 ml. As for serum concentrations of TG, total cholesterol, and LDL-cholesterol, there was no significant difference between the UQ and LQ groups of milk consumption. Based on our study, we concluded that continual consumption of approximately one cup of milk per day was associated with low cardiovascular risks with favorable lipid profiles and ALP in postmenopausal women. 한국 청소년의 치아우식증과 치주질환에 대한 예방행위 경험 관련요인 (Related factors of preventive behavior experiences toward dental caries and periodontal disease in Korean adolescents)

  • Objectives: The objective of the study was to investigate the related factors of preventive behavior experience toward dental caries and periodontal disease in Korean adolescents. Methods: The study subjects were 72,060 adolescents in 800 schools who completed 2014 Korean Youth Risk Behavior Web-based survey. Dependent variables included general characteristics of the subjects, oral health behavior, and oral disease experience. The experience rate of sealant and scaling showed the prevention behavior of dental caries and periodontal disease. Data were analyzed by IBM SPSS statistics 20.0. Results: The experience rate of sealant accounted for 26.9%. The experience of sealant was related with gender, school, maternal education level, economic status, vigorous physical activity, smoking, usual stress, fruit consumption, milk consumption, soda consumption, snack consumption, tooth brushing, oral health education experience, periodontal bleeding and pain, mucosal disorders, and bad breath. The experience rate of scaling was 22.6%. The experience of scaling was related with gender, school, city division, learning achievement, maternal education level, economic status, residential type, vigorous physical activity, usual stress, fruit consumption, milk consumption, tooth brushing, oral health education experience, periodontal bleeding and pain, mucosal disorders, and bad breath. Conclusions: To expand preventive oral health behavior in the adolescents, it is necessary to support the systematic policy making and monetary establishment in the future.

이동기기에서 배터리를 고려한 저전력 알고리즘 연구 (A Study on Battery Driven Low Power Algorithm in Mobile Device)

  • 본 논문에서는 이동기기에서 배터리를 고려한 저전력 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안한 알고리즘은 이동기기에서 배터리의 잔량에 따라 태스크를 수행할 수 있도록 소모전력을 줄이는 방법으로 주파수를 변화시킨다. 배터리의 잔량이 수행하고자하는 태스크의 소모 전력보다 작을 경우 태스크를 수행시키기 위해 주파수를 낮춘다. 주파수 조절은 태스크에 따라 전체 시스템에서 사용되는 디바이스들 중에서 가장 높은 주파수를 가진 디바이스를 우선대상으로 수행한다. 주파수의 감소는 두 번째로 큰 주파수를 가진 디바이스의 주파수로 변화하여 소모전력을 계산한다. 계산된 소모전력이 배터리의 잔량보다 클 경우 단계적으로 주파수를 조절하여 소모전력을 낮추며 배터리의 잔량으로 태스크를 수행 할 수 있을 때 까지 주파수를 조절한다. 실험은 주파수를 조절하여 소모 전력을 줄이는 방법을 이용한[6]과 같은 환경에서 배터리의 잔량을 고려하여 태스크를 수행할 수 있도록 주파수를 조절하였다. 실험 결과 [6]에서 수행되지 않는 배터리 잔량에서도 태스크가 동작되는 결과를 나타내었다.

전북 일부지역 중년의 사회 경제적 요인, 건강 및 생활 관련인자가 건강식품 섭취에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Social-Economic Factors and Related factors of Health and Life-Style on Health Foods Intakes among the Middle Aged in the Jeonbuk Region)

  • This study examined health foods intakes and related variables among the middle aged(150 men and 159 women) in the Jeonbuk region. Health foods were classified into 4 groups including Chinese medicine(CM), toner foods(TF), vitamin or mineral supplements(VMS), and other manufactured health food supplements(MHFS). The number of people taking health foods were higher for those in their 50's than in their 40's. The consumption rate of TF in men was the highest among health foods, this result had significance. The reasons for taking health foods were recovery from fatigue, supplement of nutrients and making smooth body activity in general, but TF was used to increase of vigor. The consumption rate of health foods was a little different according to social-economic factors, namely, the consumption rate of CM was higher in people in rural than urban areas, those who graduated from middle school than university, blue color & self-employed as opposed to housewives and service workers, low level income than high level income, and Buddhism and no religion than Christian. The consumption rate had a correlation with the habits of smoking, alcohol drinking and exercise ; namely, the consumption rate of CM was higher than VMS and MHFS on smokers and alcohol drinkers. The more the frequency of exercise, the higher the consumption rate of TF, but the duration of the exercise was not correlated. This study suggests that middle aged people need nutritional education for the right recognition and selection of health foods and to consider the nature of each type of health foods.

순창군 장수인의 영양소 섭취수준에 영향을 미치는 식행동 인자 (Dietary Behavior Factors for Desirable Nutrient Intakes of the Oldest-old Population in Sunchang County)

  • In order to identify valuable factors for improving dietary quality of Korean rural elderly, the consumption frequency of food groups, dietary habits and health behaviors related to nutrient intakes of the elderly over 85 of Sunchang County were studied. The 171 subjects (61 males and 110 females) were chosen from Sunchang Province by stratified sampling. Among food groups, the consumption frequency of meat and fish groups influenced significantly on their nutrient intakes than the other groups. The subjects consuming more than 4 times per week of meat or fish had significantly higher nutrient intakes level than the other groups. The group consuming milk and milk products everday was higher in vitamin $B_2$ intake level than the other groups. Among dietary habits, the groups with good appetite and regular mealtime compared with the groups with low appetite and irregular mealtime had significantly higher nutrient intake levels. The family type was the determining factor of nutrient intakes. The subjects living with family members consumed higher nutrient intakes than the subjects living alone. The smoking and the alcohol consumption themselves did not affect nutrient intakes, but the subjects having alcohol consumption frequently more than once a day had lower nutrient intakes than the others. The group with dentures did not differ significantly from the without denture group in nutrient intakes; however, those who had chewing problems showed the lower nutrient intakes compared to those who did not have chewing problems. The subjects with more than two kinds of clinical symptoms had lower nutrient intakes than the subjects with less than two kinds of clinical symptoms. These results indicate that the identifying factors for desirable nutrient intakes of rural elderly were characterized as appropriate consumption frequencies of meat and fish, good appetite, living with family, regular mealtime, chewing without difficulty, and low incidence of chronic disease.
