${\omega}$-피리딜 알켄산의 형태와 활성간의 상관관계 (The Correlation Between Conformations and Activities of ${\omega}$-Pyridylalkenoic Acids)

  • Molecular mechanics and conformation search methods were carried oyt to investigate the relationship between conformations and thromboxane synthetase ingibitory activities of om ega-pyridylalkenoic acids. The initial geometries of ${\omega}$-pyridylalkenoic acids and heme part of cytochrome P-450 were obtained from MM+ geometry optimization. The bond lenths and angles were not varied by step during the conformation searching. Stable conformers of some ${\omega}$-pyridylalkenoic acids were obtained by comformational search method. The distances were 8.5~10.8 ${\AA}$- between N atom at 3-position of pyridine ring and C atom at carboxylic group of stable ${\omega}$-pyridylalkenoic acids. The conformations of ${\omega}$-pyridylalkenoic acids and heme part complex were determined by same method. In theses structures, benzene ring and ethylene group in ${\omega}$-pyridylalkenoic acids are making the structure more rigid and increase inhbitory activity. The electron donating groups in C atom shich is connected to pyridine ring also increase activity.

  • Pressure ripple of hydraulic vane pump results form flow ripple due to pump geometry and reverse flow through the discharge port due to compressibility of fluid and result in vibration and noise of connected hydraulic elements. In a ba;anced type vane pump, cam ring curve is important factor to influence the flow ripple. Therefore, to reduce the now ripple, it has been required that optimal selection of seal region by proper design of cam ring and each port position, and notches for preventing the excessive reverse flow. This paper has been performed analytical study of compression characteristics with major design parameter in side plate and cam ring, and examined into the role of notch and radius reduction ratio.

Properties of Interstellar Turbulence in Galactic Ring Survey

  • We have studied the properties of interstellar turbulence as observed by Boston University-Five College Radio Astronomy Observatory (BU-FCRAO) Galactic Ring Survey (GRS). This observation uses 13CO J=$1{\rightarrow}0$ emission with high spectral resolution of 0.21 kms-1 and covers wide galactic plane regions ($18^{\circ}$ < 1 < $55.7^{\circ}$ and -1 < b < $1^{\circ}$). Firstly, we measured the one dimensional power spectrum of 13CO intensity along the galactic longitude and along the galactic latitude. We found the slope of the power spectrum changes around the molecular ring structure and the center of the galactic plane. Secondly, we explored how the power spectral slope is related with the velocity dispersion of supersonic giant molecular clouds in the GRS. Finally, we suggest the turbulent nature of the interstellar medium is connected with star formation activities in spiral arms.

  • In order to remove minority carries of the base region at changing signal in conventional bipolar logic circuit, we made transistor which is composed of NPN transistor shortened buried layer under the Base region, PNP transistor which is merged in base, epi layer and substrate. Also the Ring-Oscillator for measuring transmission time-delay per gate was designed as well. In the result, we get amplitude of logic voltage of 200mV, the minimum of transmission delay-time of 211nS, and the minimum of transmission delay-time per gate of 7.26ns in AC characteristic output of Ring-Oscillator connected Gate.

Design of an Input-Parallel Output-Parallel Multi-Module DC-DC Converter Using a Ring Communication Structure

  • The design feasibility of a micro unidirectional DC transmission system based on an input-parallel output-parallel (IPOP) converter is analyzed in this paper. The system consists of two subsystems: an input-parallel output-series (IPOS) subsystem to step up the DC link voltage, and an input-series output-parallel (ISOP) subsystem to step down the output voltage. The two systems are connected through a transmission line. The challenge of the delay caused by the communication in the control system is addressed by introducing a ring communication structure, and its influence on the control system is analyzed to ensure the feasibility and required performance of the converter system under practical circumstances. Simulation and experiment results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed design.

Theoretical Investigation of 2,3-bis(2,4,5-trimethyl-3-thienyl)maleic anhydride: A Thermally Irreversible Photochromic System

  • A thermally irreversible photochromic system, 2,3-bis(2,4,5-trimethyl-3-thienyl)maleic anhydride (MTMA), has been studied by semi-empirical molecular orbital methods. There are one pair of stable conformations for the closed-ring form and three pairs for the open-ring form, each pair consisting of two mirror-image conformations. Interconversion between the parallel and anti-parallel conformations of the open-ring form is restricted due to high energy barriers. Only the anti-parallel conformation appears to be responsible for photochromic cyclization. Thermostability of the compound is attributed to an avoided crossing at high energy in the ground states of the isomers, whereas the photoreactivity can be explained by the mutually connected excited singlet (S1) states of the isomers, forming a double well potential with a low energy barrier. The large solvent effects can be partly explained with the low dipole moment of the anti-parallel conformation of MTMA in the S1 state. The large variation of quantum efficiency suggests that excess vibronic energy can be utilized to provide the activation energy for the photochromic reaction.

ON SIGNLESS LAPLACIAN SPECTRUM OF THE ZERO DIVISOR GRAPHS OF THE RING ℤn

  • For a finite commutative ring R with identity 1 ≠ 0, the zero divisor graph ��(R) is a simple connected graph having vertex set as the set of nonzero zero divisors of R, where two vertices x and y are adjacent if and only if xy = 0. We find the signless Laplacian spectrum of the zero divisor graphs ��(ℤn) for various values of n. Also, we find signless Laplacian spectrum of ��(ℤn) for n = pz, z ≥ 2, in terms of signless Laplacian spectrum of its components and zeros of the characteristic polynomial of an auxiliary matrix. Further, we characterise n for which zero divisor graph ��(ℤn) are signless Laplacian integral.

  • HSR(High-availability seamless redundancy)은 이더넷 네트워크의 고장 극복을 목적으로 표준 제정된 프로토콜로서, 하나의 전송 프레임을 복제하여 두 개의 물리적인 포트로 각각의 프레임을 전송하여 고장 극복 시간을 "0"이 되도록 한다. 따라서 HSR은 실시간 고장 극복이 필요한 이더넷 어플리케이션에 사용할 수 있다. 그러나 HSR은 각 노드마다 프레임을 복제하므로 불필요한 프레임이 다수 생성되어 네트워크에 전달되어 네트워크 전송용량을 상당량 점유하는 단점을 갖고 있다. 본 논문에서는 표준 HSR의 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위해 보편적으로 사용되는 여러 개의 ring이 연결된 복합 링 네트워크에 적합한 MAC (media access control) 주소에 기반을 둔 Port Locking (PL) 이라는 새로운 방식을 제안한다. 제안 방식은 네트워크 제어 프레임과는 별도로 Source 및 Destination 노드의 위치를 점차적으로 학습하며, 학습에 따라 Destination 노드가 없는 소규모 ring 네트워크의 입구 포트를 차단함으로써 해당 ring의 프레임 순환을 방지하도록 한다. 이와 같이 PL 알고리즘은 대형 링 네트워크 구조의 트래픽을 현저히 감소시키며, 이에 따라 네트워크의 성능은 크게 향상된다. 이에 대한 이론적 분석 결과는 제안된 PL 방식의 유효성을 입증한다.
