청소년자녀의 부모와의 갈등과 갈등표출방식 (Parents-Adolescent Conflicts and the Ways of Representing the Conflicts)

  • This study was done to investigate how different the degrees of the parent-adolescent conflicts and the ways of representing the conflicts were according to the sex. The subjects were 468 high school students. For data analysis, mean, standard deviation, ANOVA, and Duncan-test were used. The main results of this study were as follows; 1. There were significant differences between the sex in the degrees of the parent-adolescent conflicts. 2. The ways of representing the conflicts were found to be argumentative behaviors in boys and discursive behaviors in girths. 3. There were found significantly different according to sex in the ways of representing the conflicts according to the degrees of the parent-adolescent conflicts.

  • This study aims to offer base line data for efficient conflicts control measures by first, analyzing the current situation of the regional comprehensive development project and second, identifying level, type and cause of the conflicts appeared during the development business promotion. For this purpose, theoretical side of this study establishes a basic frame by reviewing the existing researches in order to analyze the characteristics of the conflicts between the participation subjects in the development business, and the empirical side conducts survey and analysis on the awareness on these conflicts. As a result of the analysis, the survey revealed the followings. First, the respondents were aware of the overall promotions of the business quite positively, second, the conflicts were considered as a major obstacle against the development project promotion just as the other negative factors, third, majority of the responses on the seriousness of the conflicts were neutral which meant that the conflicts could be deepened by situations, fourth, most respondents had positive recognition on the needs of conflict control training and its effectiveness, and last but not least, most respondents of the survey revealed their intentions to take parts in trouble shooting from the conflicts. Based on the results above, we were able to extract several elements to consider preparing the countermeasures for the conflicts. First, specific plan should be arranged and institutionalized in order to control the conflicts between the residents at the initial stage of the development business or even before. Second, the specific plan must lower its threshold for easy participation of the residents in that region and make the residents main body of the conflict control. Third, enhanced conflict control education must be provided to the residents of the region where comprehensive development plan is in progress or being prepared.

다문화가족의 부부갈등과 갈등대처전략 (The Marital Conflicts and Coping Strategies in the Multicultural Families)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out marital conflicts and coping strategies among married female immigrants and Korean men in multicultural families. The data were collected by in.depth interviews with 12 female immigrants and 5 Korean men. The major findings of this study are as follows: Female participants suffered from marital conflicts with their spouses, conflicts with mothers.in.law, stereotyped gender roles as a wife and a daughter.in.law, economic conflicts, and cultural differences between Korea and their country. In addition, male participants reported conflicts from economic support for their wife's family, gender role differences, and cultural differences. Coping strategies used to deal with the conflicts, such as mutual dedication and understanding their spouse's stance, and developing a compromise for the family's happiness were mentioned. A personal positive nature and attitude helped them to meet the marital conflicts. Supports from their husband, parents.in.law, and society also helped female immigrants to adapt to cultural differences. However, some of them used negative coping strategies which did not reduce conflicts, and resulted in separation and divorce. The coping strategies to deal with the conflicts depended on the participants' personal ability. While female participants who had English language skills took advantage to adapt to Korean society, those who did not have any other natural abilities could develop a definite position in their family and society with their diligence and positive attitude. The results showed that female participants who were supported by their family and society tended to cope successfully with conflicts and also showed that multicultural families' marital adjustment was maintained with their efforts as well as by relationships with their relatives and society.

맞벌이 부부의 응집 및 적응이 역할갈등에 미치는 영향 (An Effect of Cohesion & Adaptability on Role Conflicts of Dual-Earner Couples)

  • This study was to examine the factors effecting the role conflicts of dual-earner couples. The sample consisted of 168 husbands and wives living in Pusan. The findings of this study were as follows; 1. Husbands' role conflicts were negatively related to cohesion wives' role conflicts were negatively related to adaptability. 2. Husbands' role conflicts were significantly affected by spouses' support time spent at work cohesion and the youngest child age. 3. Wives' role conflicts were significantly affected by spouses' support adaptability time spent at work and the degree of husbands' support, adaptability time spent at work and the degree of husbands' housework participation.

맞벌이 부부의 역할기대 및 역할 갈등과 결혼만족도 (Dual-career Couples' Role Expectations Role Conflicts and Marital Satisfactions)

  • The purposes of this article are to find out general trends of dual-career couples' role expectations role conflicts and marital satisfactions and to estimate the differences according to related variables and to analyze the effects of indepedent variables on ole conflicts and marital satisfactions. For these objectives two kinds of questionaire were used and the data were obtained through 169 dual-career couples. The results were as follows; The results were as follows; 1) Dual-career couples' role expectations and marital satisfactions were relatively high but role conflicts were not. Husbands' role expectations were higher than them of wives but wive's role conflicts and marital satisfactions were higher than them of husbands. 2) Dual-career couples' role expectations role conflicts and marital satisfcations were significantly different by communication role related variables and job related variables. 3) Husbands' role conflicts and marital satisfactions were significantly influenced by communication satisfaction and role expectations,. Wives' role conflicts and marital satisfactions were significantly influenced by communication satisfaction husbands' housework aid and role expectations.

가정전문간호사의 역할갈등 체험에 관한 현상학적 연구 (The Lived Experience of Home Health Nurses' Role Conflicts: A Phenomenology Study)

  • Purpose: To explore the lived experience of home health nurses' role conflicts and the associated meaning of those as perceived by the home health nurses. Methods: This qualitative study was conducted between November 2021 and January 2022 among five home health nurses who were recruited. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and inductively analyzed using Colaizzi's descriptive phenomenological inquiry. Results: The participants' lived experience of role conflicts were grouped into four main categories, namely role conflicts due to shortage of qualified home health nurses, role conflicts exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, interpersonal relationship conflicts, and conflicts with existing systems and their solutions. Conclusion: Knowledge developed from the experiences of the participants indicated various role conflicts, both interpersonal and systematical, while they recognized the significance of their role as the home health nurses. In the future, support systems should be established at the organizational and systematical levels to ensure a better workforce environment for home health nurses.

청소년이 인지하는 가족내 갈등과 건강보호행동으로서의 자아개념, 학교적응간의 인과관계분석 (The Causal Relationship of Adolescent's Family Conflicts, Self-concept, and School Adjustment as Health Protection Behavior)

  • Objectives: The school adjustment problems of the adolescence groups become more aggravated and are on the increase. The objective of this study is to identify the causal relationship of intra-family conflicts, self-concept and school adjustment as health protection behavior. Methods: The study setting is the adolescence groups. Data were collected by self-administered questionnaires from the middle and high school students in Seoul. The study sample consisted of 268 students. Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) analysis was conducted to find the causal relationship of intra-family conflicts, self-concept and school adjustment. Results: This study shows that firstly, the total effects of intra-family conflicts have a negative effect on self-concept(path coefficients=-0.080) and school adjustment(path coefficients=-0.107). And the self-concept factor as an intervening variable are affecting positively on school adjustment(path coefficients=0.411). Secondly, the economic conflicts, personaliy conflicts and social activity conflicts of father and mother among various family conflicts are more highly affecting on self-concept and school adjustment(p<0.01) Conclusions: These results imply that first, communication between parents and students is essential to solve the problems of school adjustment. Especially economic conflicts should be solved to improve the self-concept and school adjustment. second, a variety of programs are available for schools to employ in an effort to provide interventions for students who demonstrate school adjustment. Finally, it is necessary for family, school and all the society members to comprehensively cooperate to solve family conflicts and school adjustment.

한국사회의 세대갈등 : 권력.이념.문화갈등을 중심으로 (Generational Conflicts in Korea : Power, Ideological and Cultural Conflicts)

  • 이 논문의 목적은 한국사회의 세대갈등을 권력갈등, 이념갈등, 문화갈등으로 구분하여 갈등 형성의 배경과 실태를 분석하고 그 함의를 논의하는 데 있다. 실태 분석을 위하여 관공서의 집합 자료와 경험적 연구결과들이 활용되었다. 우선, 세대간 권력갈등의 핵심은 권력 이양시기를 둘러싼 충돌에 있다. 세대간 권력갈등을 의회 권력에 국한시켜 볼 때, 정권교체기의 이념적 지향의 부침과는 무관하게 젊은 의원들의 비율이 꾸준히 증가하는 저(低) 연령화 추세가 지속되고 있었다. 이러한 세대교체 추세는 당분간 다른 영역에서도 유지될 것으로 보인다. 다음으로, 세대간 이념갈등은 2002년 대선 전 후 극대화되었으나 04년 총선 이래 점차 완화되었다. 그러나 조건의 변화에 따라 일정한 계기가 주어지면 다시 활성화될 수 있을 것이다. 마지막으로, 문화 격차의 견지에서 볼 때 세대균열의 깊은 골은 대략 출생시점 1970년경을 중심으로 형성되었다. 문화갈등의 축을 성장주의 대 소비주의, 집단주의 대 개인주의, 권위주의 대 탈권위주의로 설정하여 갈등의 배경과 실태를 검토했다. 세 유형의 갈등 중 문화갈등의 역기능에 주목해야 한다. 세대간 문화격차 확대는 상호 의사소통을 방해하며 상호 교류와 공동 활동 기피라는 결과를 낳을 수 있기 때문이다. 문화갈등 완화를 위해, 사회 제 부문의 부조리와 비리 척결 그리고 세대 통합 프로그램을 활용하는 방안 등이 제시되었다.

<계축일기>에 나타난 갈등의 층위와 제시 방식 (The Layers of Conflicts and the Methods of Presenting Conflicts in Gyechugilgi)

  • 이 글에서는 <계축일기>의 성격에 대한 이해를 심화하기 위해 작품의 역사적 맥락과 작품에 제시된 갈등의 층위, 그리고 갈등의 제시 방식 등을 검토하였다. 작자는 내인들의 갈등과 수난을 상당한 비중을 두어 자세하게 다루고 있다. 이는 작자가 그것을 단순히 광해군과 인목대비의 갈등에서 파생된 부수적인 문제로 파악하고 있지 않다는 것이고, 따라서 광해군과 인목대비에 초점을 맞춰 이 작품을 이해하는 것이 작품의 실상과 거리가 있다는 것을 의미한다. 또한 이 작품에서는 대화를 빈번하게 교체 인용하여 갈등의 첨예함과 심각성을 효과적으로 드러내고, 갈등을 매개하는 인물을 형상화하여 사람의 욕망이 갈등을 어떻게 확대 심화시키는지 구체적으로 제시하고 있으며, 삽화를 나열하여 갈등의 상대방에 대한 비판과 자기들이 겪어야 하는 고통의 부당함을 강조하고 있다. 요컨대 작자는 갈등이 사람들 사이의 문제이고, 사람의 욕망이나 부정적 성격으로 인해 그것이 야기되고, 또 심화되기도 한다는 입장에서 광해군과 인목대비 양측의 갈등을 바라보고 있다고 할 수 있다. 흔히 광해군의 성격과 당시의 역사적 사건을 허구적으로 왜곡 과장한 점을 이 작품의 문제점, 혹은 이 작품을 소설로 보아야 하는 근거로 제시한다. 하지만 그것은 먼저 작자가 당시 상황을 정치나 역사의 관점이 아니라 사람에 초점을 맞춰 파악한 결과로 이해하는 것이 바람직하고, 이 작품의 문학적 성격과 가치도 그러한 점에서 찾아야 할 것으로 생각한다.

호텔 레스토랑 구성원의 갈등이 조직 유효성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Influence of Conflicts among Members in Hotel Restaurants on Organization Validity)

  • This study was to examine ongoing conflicts between employees and determine the level of conflict management strategies to establish a more effective management in hotel restaurants. The results of this research show, first, conflicts exalted collective organization; the more comflicts, the lower absorption or validity of the organization. Second, the lower increase in personal conflicts, the better the validity of the organization. Therefore, hypotheses in this study can be seen as acceptable. In this study, based on the future management of hotel restaurants, there should be private groups to resolve conflicts through the organizations which can increase the validity of the organizations.
