에폭시 기반 연성 폴리머 콘크리트의 자외선 노출에 의한 기계적 물성평가 (Evaluation of Mechanical Property Variation of Epoxy Based Compliant Polymer Concretes Exposed to UV Light)

  • 본 연구에서는 공항 포장용 유지보수 재료로 사용되는 폴리머 콘크리트의 자외선 노출에 대한 기계적 물성 변화를 확인하기 위해 자외선 노출 전/후 시편의 압축강도 및 연성인자의 변화를 평가하였다. 현재 공항 포장용으로 사용되는 폴리머 콘크리트의 비율과 선행연구를 통해 얻은 최적 배합비율을 참고하여 시편을 제작하였다. 자외선 발생 램프의 출력을 고려하여 자연상태에서 노출되는 등가시간을 계산한 후 최대 3년에 해당하는 시간만큼의 등가시간 동안 시편을 노출시켰다. 실험결과, 자외선 노출 자체는 재료물성에 거의 영향을 주지 않았으며, 자외선 노출에 따른 온도상승에 의한 재료물성 변화가 주로 관찰되었다. 자외선에 의해 발생된 열에 노출된 후 모든 시편에서 인성은 감소하고, 압축강도는 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다.

  • ThThe purpose of this study is to investigate the compressive strength properties of fly ash using water eluted from recycled coarse aggregate. When fly ash come into contact with water, they have not a autonomously chemical reaction. But fly ash is a pozzolan reaction when fly ash come into contact with water and calcium hydroxide(Ca(OH)2) in alkaline environment. For that reason, if water eluted from recycled coarse aggregate use mixture water, fly ash is expected to reaction of pozzolan reaction property in early stage. According to the experimentation result, ICP-MS analysis showed water eluted from recycled coarse aggregate has a high alkali-ash value of pH of 12 and over. And mixing ratio 30% fly ash mortar using water eluted from recycled coarse aggregate showed a similar strength of plain mortar due to the pozzolan reaction. Also, poor strength in initial age, disadvantage of mortar using fly ash, can be improved as hydration in early age is expedited due to calcium hydroxide(Ca(OH)2) and unhydrated cement component eluted from recycled aggregate mortar.

  • Naphthalene sulfonated condensatd(NSF) has been widely using for the superplasticizing of ement and concrete. But NSF has a very large mobility loss with elapsed tiom. To retain mobility of NSF during a certain time, maleic anhydride and acrylic acid copolymer(MA) was polymerized and mixed with NSF in order to perpare admixture holding mobility-retention property of cement. By applying this admixture for ement paste, we examined the fluidity and mobility retention property as a function to elapsed time and measured the compressive strength of mortar with curing time. As a result, NSF containing 20wt% of MA showed very excellent fluidity and mobility-retention property. These properties were affected by the added amount of admixture and the ratio of water to cement.

  • In this study, there are kind of property experiments like fluidity, compressive strength, bleeding measurement, concrete sink for CFT use high fluidity concrete. The property difference between before transmit and after transmit concrete in the mock up test with ready mixed concrete equipment is examined. The variable factors in mock up are diaphragm existence and nonexistence, diaphragm placing hole sizes. To investigate the concrete property under diaphragm, concrete packing ability tests is peformed. High fluidity and strength concrete which satisfied with mix criteria could apply to building construction field. It it is quality managed with use of packing ability analysis.

  • Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Composite, DFRCC has strain hardening property with multiple crack in failed of compressive, tensile, bending force, concrete is not so that. But DFRCC could not use to the building element for which has not structural stiffness only has ductile property. DFRCC is used for repair only in recently. In that reason, we considered the concrete of light weight concrete, porous concrete, mortar complex with DFRCC. and DFRCC reinforced by fiber net, steel bar. In this study, results of experiment on complex method of concrete and DFRC were shown as follows; The complex methods of concrete lay on DFRCC, sandwich layer composition were effective for bending force depending on section size each layer, and reinforce DFRCC by fiber net, steel bar was effective method also.

Properties of Woodceramics Chip Tile Made from Waste Wood(II) - Effect of Additions and Woodceramics Chip -

  • In order to effectively use the waste wood, two types of woodceramics chip tile were made from woodceramics chip, gravel, zeolite and additions. The woodceramics chip was made from branch of apple tree (Malus pumila Mill.) Snow melting property, bending strength and compressive strength of woodceramics chip tile were tested according to the mixing rate of woodceramics chip. Snow melting properties of woodceramics chip tile increased after additions treatment but mechanical properties were reduced significantly after additions treatment. The results indicate that the additions are effective for snow melting property but negative effect on mechanical properties.

옹이 형태별 소재의 압축강도 예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Estimation for the Compressive Strength of Member According to the Knot Types)

  • 구조용 목재부재의 성능 예측에 가장 큰 영향을 끼치는 옹이를 활용하여 유한요소 수치해석을 실시하였다. 다른 구조용 재료와 달리 목재의 경우 직교이방성을 나타내기 때문에 이를 적용하였고 옹이를 실린더 형태, 원추형 형태, 육면체 형태로 모델화 하였다. 목재 부재에 대해 실제 압축강도실험을 실시하여 그 파괴형태를 파악하고 최대강도값을 계산하였으며, 각 부재의 치수와 옹이의 크기, 위치, 개수를 반영한 수치해석 모델을 제작하여 유한요소해석을 실시하였다. 실험에서 얻어진 최대압축강도를 적용한 수치해석을 실시하여 옹이자료에 따른 각 부재의 응력분포형태를 파악하고 이를 실제 부재의 파괴형태와 비교 분석하였다. 수치해석에 소요되는 시간이나 요수 분할의 어려움, 옹이 주위의 응력 전달의 유사성 등에 기준했을 때 실린더 형태의 요소가 가장 타당하다고 판단되었다. 또한 응력 분포 모양과 변형 분포 모양을 비교한 경우 유한 요소 수치해석의 결과에서 응력이 가장 집중되는 부분과 변형이 가장 심하게 발생한 주위에서 실제 시편의 파괴나 균열이 발생함을 알 수 있었다. 이를 기초로 유한요소 수치해석법을 직교이방성과 옹이 모델링을 적절히 적용할 경우 휨응력을 받는 부재와 인장 응력을 받는 부재 등의 성능 해석에 유용한 수단으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

투수성 도로포장재의 내구성 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Enhancement of the Durability of Permeable Pavement Material)

  • 본 연구에서는 폐타이어를 재활용한 투수성 도로포장재의 내구성을 향상시키기 위하여 이 포장재에 사용되는 폴리우레탄(PU) 접착제를 개발하고 다른 첨가제의 투입에 따른 물성 변화를 조사하였다. PU중합은 무용제형의 벌크중합법을 사용하였으며 첨가제로는 카본블랙, 탄산 칼슘$(CaCO_3)$ 및 자외선(UV)안정제를 사용하였다. 물성으로는 도로포장재에 요구되는 압축강도를 통하여 환경조건에 따른 저항성을 측정하였다. 중합된 PU 중에 에스터기로 형성된 폴리올과 가교를 형성할 수 있는 사슬연장제가 포함된 경우에 $$4.9kgf/cm^2$로 높은 압축강도를 나타내었으며, 이것은 기존에 사용하던 1액형 PU접착제보다 약 $15kgf/cm^2$ 향상된 결과이다. 또 첨가제로서 카본블랙과 탄산칼슘을 각각 20 wt%를 함께 투입하였을 때가 가장 높은 강도를 보였으나, UV안정제를 사용했을 경우에는 뚜렷한 내후성의 향상을 관찰할 수는 없었다.

Experimental study on axial compressive behavior of hybrid FRP confined concrete columns

  • In this paper, the mechanical property of CFRP, BFRP, GFRP and their hybrid FRP was experimentally studied. The elastic modulus and tensile strength of CFRP, BFRP, GFRP and their hybrid FRP were tested. The experimental results showed that the elastic modulus of hybrid FRP agreed well with the theoretical rule of mixture, which means the property of hybrid composites are linear with the volumes of the corresponding components while the tensile strength did not. The bearing capacity, peak strain, stress-strain relationship of circular concrete columns confined by CFRP, BFRP, GFRP and hybrid FRP subjected to axial compression were recorded. And the confinement effect of hybrid FRP on concrete columns was analyzed. The test results showed that the bearing capacity and ductility of concrete columns were efficiently improved through hybrid FRP confinement. A strength model and a stress-strain relationship model of hybrid FRP confined concrete columns were proposed. The proposed stress-strain model was shown to be capable of providing accurate prediction of the axial compressive strength of hybrid FRP confined concrete compared with Teng et al. (2002) model, Karbhari and Gao (1997) model and Miyachi et al. (1999) model. The modified stress-strain model was also suitable for single FRP confinement cases and it was so concise in form and didn't have piecewise fitting, which would be easy for use in structural design.
