Inclusion Compound of Flurbiprofen with Cyclodextrin (Flurbiprofen과 Cyclodextrin과의 포접화물(包接化物)에 관한 연구(硏究))

  • The inclusion of ${\alpha}-cyclodextrin$ and ${\beta}-cyclodextrin$ with flurbiprofen in aqueous phase was investigated by UV absorption and circular dichroism spectroscopies. The inclusion complex in solid powder form were made by the freeze-drying and coprecipitation methods in molar ratio 1:1. The inclusion complex formation was confirmed by infrared absorption spectroscopy. The freeze-drying method was successful in obtaining the inclusion compounds compared with the coprecipitation method. The dissolution of solid flurbiprofen inclusion complex was examined in comparison with those of flurbiprofen alone. The inclusion complex obtained by freeze-drying method increased the dissolution rate.

  • Stability constant, composition of copper (II)-oxamidoxime complex were determined by spectrophotometric method. The ratio of copper (II) and oxamidoxime in the above complex was 1 : 1, and its stability constant was calculated to be $2.4{\times}10^{22}$. The complex solution gave constant absorbancy between the pH range of 4.5 to 6 at 600 $m{\mu}$ in which Beer's law applicable in the concentration range of 0.3 to 2.0 ppm studied in this work. It was noted that some metals such as Fe(III), Ni(II), Co(II), U(VI) interfere copper determination by this method.

  • The Coptis Rhizome is known for containing a number of isoquinoline type alkaloids. Berberine, coptisine and palmatine are the major constituents of alkaloids. The alkaloids were isolated and determined by forming complex from Coptis japonica (Ranunculaceae). For the determination of these alkaloids, a new spectrophotometric method was developed with a simple and selective sample clean-up using thiocyanatocobaltate[II] complex ion. The absorbance of alkaloidal complex in l,2-dichloroethane solution was measured at 625 nm. A calibration curve for the alkaloids isolated from Coptis Rhizome was linear over the concentration range of 0.2-0.3 mg/mι. The method proved to be rapid, simple and reliable for the isolation and the determination of the alkaloids in Coptis Rhizome.

  • Probabilistic Load Flow(PLF) solution based on the method of moments is used for security assessment of bus voltages in power systems. Bus voltages, line currents, line admittances, generated real and reactive power, and bus loads are treated as complex random variables. These complex random variables are known in terms of probability density functions(PDF). Also, expressions for the convolutions of complex random variables in terms of moments and cumulants have been derived. Proposed PLF solution using the method of moments is fast, because the process of convolution of various complex random variables is performed in moment and cumulant domain. Therefore, the method is applied to security assessment of power systems in this paper. Finally, system operator also can be used information of security assessment to improve reliability of power systems.

  • Method development for complex low molecular mass (LMM) samples using reversed-phase (RP) separation conditions presents significant challenges due to the presence of many unknown analytes over wide concentration ranges.   • 2-D complex Gabor filtering has found numerous applications in the fields of computer vision and image processing. Especially, in some applications, it is often needed to compute 2-D complex Gabor filter bank consisting of the 2-D complex Gabor filtering outputs at multiple orientations and frequencies. Although several approaches for fast 2-D complex Gabor filtering have been proposed, they primarily focus on reducing the runtime of performing the 2-D complex Gabor filtering once at specific orientation and frequency. To obtain the 2-D complex Gabor filter bank output, existing methods are repeatedly applied with respect to multiple orientations and frequencies. In this paper, we propose a novel approach that efficiently computes the 2-D complex Gabor filter bank by reducing the computational redundancy that arises when performing the Gabor filtering at multiple orientations and frequencies. The proposed method first decomposes the Gabor basis kernels to allow a fast convolution with the Gaussian kernel in a separable manner. This enables reducing the runtime of the 2-D complex Gabor filter bank by reusing intermediate results of the 2-D complex Gabor filtering computed at a specific orientation. Experimental results demonstrate that our method runs faster than state-of-the-arts methods for fast 2-D complex Gabor filtering, while maintaining similar filtering quality.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide an remodification method for elementary school complex facilities in Seoul Metropolitan city. This study analyzes the questionnaire survey for 568 entire elementary schools and the questionnaire survey for school facility complex project operated 44 elementary schools. Then the result of this study was deduced from the comparison between the 568 entire survey data and 44 survey data in terms of the cognition of school facility complex project, the required type of facility and the problems of complex facility maintenance and operation. Four major findings were revealed as the result of research. First, there is a very high agreement with the school facility complex projects. Second, it was need that the process of planning and design was remodified to enhance participation of parents of students and local residents for selecting an appropriate complex facility. Third, education environment and student safety should be protected from any other school facility complex environments. Fourth, an agreement and regulation is needed for more effective maintenance and operation of school complex facilities.

  • Inclusion complex of omeprazol with $\beta$-Cyclodextrin and Hydroxypropyl-$\beta$-Cyclodextrin were prepared by coprecipitation and freeze-drying method respectively. Effects of these inclusion complex on RBCs were monitored with a spectrophotometer by the method of Kahan et al. and the mutagenic activity based on the Ames plate incorporation test in the presence and absence of liver microsomal enzyme(S9 fraction) using Salmonella typhimurium TA98 and TA100. The RBCs hemolysis and mutagenic activity of these complex were not detected.

  • This paper considers synchronization problem of a complex dynamical network. For the problem, the virtual target node is chosen as one of nodes in the complex network and only one connection is needed between an isolate target node and virtual target node not any more connections. Moreover, our synchronization scheme does not need additional conditions and information of coupling matrix comparing with existing works. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, a design criterion for a novel adaptive feedback controller for the synchronization between the isolate target node and another nodes of the complex network is proposed. Finally, the proposed method is applied to a numerical example in order to show the effectiveness of our results.
