Customer satisfaction becomes one of the important managerial concerns associated with corporate competency in current competitive environment for Internet communication service companies. Hence, it is demanding to improve a company's customer satisfaction through the total quality management perspective. In practice, engineers as well as the management hope to find major quality characteristics with Internet communication network that is closely related to customer satisfaction, consequently aiming to the raise of their company's customer satisfaction. This paper presents an empirical relationship analysis between network quality characteristics and customer satisfaction on Internet communication. Methodologically, the relationship analysis framework is based on the regression variable selection procedures. In this framework, it is implemented that; 1) iterative model building; and 2) consistent criteria application to statistical tests for selecting significant variables. A case study shows that; 1) the customer satisfaction on the network connection seems to be more closely related to the network quality characteristics compared with the customer satisfaction on the network speed; and 2) the download disconnection rate has relatively evident relationship with the customer satisfaction on the network connection.

Since 2003, the biggest trade partner of South Korea has not been America but China. China appears to be a strong competitor of South Korea in every field of international market and even in IT industry, which has been one of the most competitive field of Korean Economy. IT Industry is now becoming a driving locomotive of economy in South Korea and China. It is reported that the IT gap between South Korea and China is shorten to be 1.7 years in 2006, from 2.6 years in 2003 and will be within one year in 2010. China has been aware of the urgent need of developing electronic and information industry in order to improve its productivity. In the results of the efforts to develop its IT industry, China has achieved average 25% yearly growth rate of IT manufacturing industry since 1991. Since 2004, South Korea has pursued IT 839 strategy. How South Korea and China can sustain the continuous development of IT industry. South Korea IT is expected to utilize China's through the mutual cooperation, which results in mutual benefit. To achieve the mutually benefited cooperation and specially to result in Small & Medium sized Korean companies' cooperation with China's, China is expected to improve the market system and create an environment of admitting intellectual property.

Diffusion of innovation is the process in which an innovation is communicated through certain channels over time among the members of a social system. The literatures have emphasized the importance of interpersonal network influences on individuals in convincing them to adopt innovations and thereby promoting its diffusion. In particular, the behavior of opinion leaders who lead in influencing others' opinion is important in determining the rate of adoption of innovation in a system. Centrality has been recognized as a good indicator that quantifies a node's influences on others in a given network. However, recent studies have questioned its relevance on various different types of diffusion processes. In this regard, this study aims at examining the effect of a node exhibiting high centrality on expediting diffusion of innovations. In particular, we considered the situation where two innovations compete with each other to be adopted by potential adopters who are personally connected with each other. In order to analyze this competitive diffusion process, we developed a simulation model and conducted regression analyses on the outcomes of the simulations performed. The results suggest that the effect of a node with high centrality can be substantially reduced depending upon the type of a network structure or the adoption thresholds of potential adopters in a network.
E-business has received much attention from entrepreneurs, executives, investors, and industry observers recently. The Internet is flourishing and the World Wide Web is growing at an exponential rate. In recent years, information has become the critical commodity needed for success in the changing global economic order. Accordingly, business organizations have come to the conclusion that they require an extensive data repository in order to acquire a competitive advantage in a dynamically change market. This rich assortment of data must further be delivered and deliverable enterprise-wide in a secure and cost-efficient manner. Information technology(IT) has created the E-business as a vitally important mechanism for the storage, dissemination, and even the analysis data. The E-business has become increasingly important to a growing number of organizations in Korea in relatively short order. The present study is an attempt to develop a more through understanding of the potential and actual impact of the B-business on organizational functions and activities. Expecially, it also consists of an effort to assess the impact of the E-business on profitability. The research also addresses the issue of how the E-business affects profitability and shapes or modifies business activities. The results of literature review and study revealed that middle managers believe that the extent of the I-business use is significantly related to improvements in overall organizational functions and activities. While communication, decision-making, productivity, work collaboration, and business activities are all enhanced by E-business use, profitability appears to be most dramatically improved by Intranet use.

Although the business model(BM) patents act as a creative bridge between technology and the marketplace, limited scholarly attention has been paid to the content analysis of BM patents. This study aims to contextualize converging BM patents by employing topic modeling technique and clustering highly marketable topics, which are expressed through a topic-market impact matrix. We relied on BM patent data filed between 2010 and 2022 to derive empirical insights into the commercial potential of emerging business models. Subsequently, nine topics were identified, including but not limited to "Data Analytics and Predictive Modeling" and "Mobile-Based Digital Services and Advertising." The 2x2 matrix allows to position topics based on the variables of topic growth rate and market impact, which is useful for prioritizing areas that require attention or are promising. This study differentiates itself by going beyond simple topic classification based on topic modeling, reorganizing the findings into a matrix format. T he results of this study are expected to serve as a valuable reference for companies seeking to innovate their business models and enhance their competitive positioning.

Moreover it is demanded 'institutional supplement of security guard instructors' which means job training for security guard instructor Second. On the job training which can deal with a state of emergency through 'security guard training' with a theory and an actual training must be strengthen. Also, most security guards have low understandings and interests because their ages are from 50's to 60's. Accordingly proper education must be offered to security guard. Third. Certification system of the private security guards are needed to fix the problems on an indiscreet issue and an abuse of license through deliberation on the security license. Fourth. Universities must find a new market to minimize the squandering of human resources because of oversupply and reduce the personnel. Also with enhancing the employment rate through specialized education, universities must offer an education which keeps pace with the times for not an entrance strategy but a long-term development. Effort for education of specialist will produce an improvement in business quality and improved services produce a customer satisfaction. A customer satisfaction will produce a fame of a successful company and positive images in market area. Finally the private industry will be developed by productivity improvement.

The purpose of this study is to propose a rational and scientific damage calculation model in relation to damages caused by bid rigging in construction projects. Previous studies and precedents in relation to calculating damages from bid rigging suggest that the main issue was the lack of consideration in standards for deciding successful bids, selection of inadequate standard comparative markets, insufficiency in analyzing the appropriateness of competitive bid price influence factors, and absence of calculation model verification. In order to improve on these issues, a damage calculation method on alternative tenders for construction projects was proposed. For this calculation model, first, a standard market adequate to the successful bid selection standards was determined, second, an appropriate factor was selected by analyzing the correlation between competitive bid price influence factors, and third, a regression analysis was conducted on the selected factor. Lastly, this was demonstrated through verification of appropriateness, significance & normality of the proposed model and application of actual bid rigging cases. Through the proposed calculation model, this study seeks to serve as a base to prevent opportunity damages for parties involved in related court cases by early resolution of disputes and relief from issues of unfair damage burdens on a particular party.
For the purpose of developing the non-stoichiometric Zr-based Laves phase alloy with higher capacity and better performance for electrochemical application, extensive work has been carried out in KAIST. After careful alloy design of $ZrMn_2-based$ hydrogen storage alloys through varing their stoichiometry while susbstituting or adding some alloying elements, the $Zr-Ti-(Lh-V-Ni)_{2.2},\;Zr-Ti-(Mn-V-Cr-Ni)_{1.8\pm0.1}$ with high capacity and better performance was developed. Consequently the $Zr-Ti-(Mn-V-Ni)_{2.2}$ alloy has a high discharge capacity of 394mAh/g and shows a high rate capability equaling to that of commercialized $AB_5$ type alloys. On the other hand, in order to develop the hydrogen storage alloy with higher discharge capacity, the hypo-stoichiometric $Zr(Mn-V-Ni)_{2-\alpha}$ alloys substituted by Ti are under developing. As the result of competitive roles of Ti and $stocihiometry({\alpha})$, the discharge capacity of $Zr-Ti-(Mn-V-Cr-Ni)_{l.8\pm0.1}$ alloys is about 400mAh/g(410 mAh/g, which shows the highest level of performance in the Zr-based alloy developed. Our sequential endeavor is improving the shortcoming of Zr-based Laves phase alloy for commercialization, i.e., poor activation property and low rate capability, etc. It is therefore believed that the commercialization of Zr-based Laves phase hydrogen storage alloy for Ni-MH rechargeable battery is in near future.
Purpose: In an infinite market competition, companies are adopting management systems to gain a competitive advantage. The expectancy effect of the management system is management performance improvement and accurate measurements. These can be made through quality records with integrity and maintainability. This paper examines the operation of records management standards, which are records, storage and management standards for quality records to understand the needs of records management standards and empathize with their needs. Methods: This paper examines PEC's (Pields Engineering Co., Ltd.) specific processes and standards for integrating individual management systems and establishing records management standards. We also look at the specific features of the Search Tool and Document Storage Management Standards that support records management standards. Results: The integration process of PEC's individual management system consists of five steps. A PDCA-based process was established to erode the confusion and inefficiencies caused by overlap between individual management systems. Also, by accurately grasping corporate competence, PEC established a record management standard suitable for the characteristics of the company. PEC's records management standards are used as a useful standard for organizing quality records, and have an impact on management performance improvement. Conclusion: PEC's records management standards enable the verification of quality performance rates and performance measures. Companies can implement appropriate quality improvement strategies based on the numbers identified by introducing records management standards. Companies can succeed in improving management performance when operating quality management that combines performance measurement techniques and records management standards.
