  • This study aims to determine the role of innovative capabilities as a mediator in analyzing entrepreneurial marketing's effect on sustainable competitive advantage in food and beverage micro-, small-, and medium- enterprises (MSMEs). Data was obtained from a food and beverage store manager in Tangerang City, comprising 119 samples. Furthermore, the G⁎Power, a tool used to calculate statistical power analysis for various t-tests, F tests, χ2 tests, z tests, and several exact tests, was used to determine the number of research samples, the α error probability of 5%, and 3 variables. The data collection method used questionnaires with Likert Scale 1-5 to indicate strongly disagree to strongly agree. To analyze data, we used Path Analysis supported by SmartPLS statistics software. Path analysis is a form of multiple regression statistical analysis that is used to evaluate causal models by examining the relationships between a dependent variable and two or more independent variables. It aims to provide estimates of the magnitude and significance of hypothesized causal connections between sets of variables. The data processing process took place in two stages, namely the estimation model testing with validity and reliability, and the structural model testing to decide the impact or correlation between variables utilizing the t-test. The result showed a positive and significant effect of entrepreneurial marketing to innovative capability and competitive advantage through the innovative capability of MSMEs.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between thinking style and learning style of gifted children in elementary school. The subjects were 178 fourth, fifth and sixth grade elementary school students who enrolled in gifted education program. They were given the Thinking Style Questionnaire and the Grasha Reichmann Student Learning Style Questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and canonical correlation analysis were performed. Results indicated that gifted students prefer legislative, judical, liberal, local, hierarchic, external thinking styles known to be related to creative and critical thinking rather than executive and conventional styles. Meanwhile, in the aspect of learning style, independent learning style than the dependent learning style, competitive style than the collaborative style, and participatory style than the avoiding style were significantly scored higher. The canonical analysis showed that thinking styles and learning styles share 59%(Rc=.77) each other, indicating the two variables had significant close relationship. External, liberal, hierarchic, judical, executive, and liberal thinking styles in the order named showed higher cross loading in the independent variable set, likewise independent, participatory, collaborative, and competitive learning styles in the dependant variable set. The results indicate that the external, liberal, hierarchic, judical, executive, and liberal thinking styles can be the significant predictors of independent, participatory, collaborative, and competitive learning styles. The implications of the study related to the gifted education were discussed in depth.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of learning style and lecture attitude on academic achievement in non-face-to-face lectures. Among students attending H University in the first semester of 2020. 1,880 students voluntarily participated in the survey. The questionnaire consists of 33 questions, and actual GPA was used to determine academic achievement. In this study, ANOVA and regression were utilized to find out the factors affecting academic achievement. The results are as follows. First, in the correlation between learning style types, the higher the avoidant learning style, the lower the independent, cooperative, and competitive types. Second, the higher the independent learning type, the higher the positive lecture attitude and GPA, and the higher the type of cooperative learning, the higher the negative lecture attitude. Third, the positive attitudes of 4th graders were higher than that of 1st graders. Fourth, there was no difference in learning style between colleges. Fifth, independent/competitive learning styles and non-face-to-face lecture attitudes had a significant effect on academic achievement in non-face-to-face lectures. In conclusion, in order to narrow the academic gap, instructors must identify the type of learning style. And it is necessary to consider students' preferences for non-face-to-face lectures.

  • The rapid changing technology and globalization allow consumers get information and new products or services faster, have more choices than before, which might be causing more competitive and more uncertain demand. The relationship quality between enterprises positively influence the relational performance. Through this research, enterprises should realize the importance of relationship learning to improve the competitive advantage. Also this research provide the strategic solutions to promote the relationship learning. this is considered to be able to present an improved directionality of the relationship between the buyer and the supplier. In addition, from the perspective of policy, this research provides implications for large enterprises and SMEs to promote their coexistence relation. The empirical model of this paper is established on basis of previous research. The empirical results show that: first, as the influence factors, relation solidarity level, environmental uncertainty, learning intension affect relationship learning, whilst special transaction assets influence information shared and relationship memory and have no effect on mutual understanding; second, relationship learning influence on relational performance and this influence relation becomes stronger if the relationship trust is higher.

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the differences and relationships among balanced strategy, coordinating and learning mechanism, and perceived performance of hospitals in Korea, and provide some directions to establish effective strategic management of hospital. Measure items on balanced strategy, coordinating and learning mechanism, and perceived performance were developed from previous studies. Questionnaire was sent and received through Internet site and e-mail during May, 2008. Data were collected from key informant in each institutions, and analyzed using frequency analysis, T-test, ANOVA, correlation and regression analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1. The level of strategic selection and external learning mechanism of private hospital was lower than that of medical corporation, and others corporation hospital. 2. There was little difference between hospitals in metropolitan and those in small cities. 3. Hospitals that have under 100 beds were statistically lower level in strategic selection and external learning mechanism than hospitals has over 100 beds. 4. Formal coordinating and external learning mechanism, and foundation form(medical corporation) were significantly influenced on profitability from specialized field. 5. Strategic selection and adaptation mechanism were significantly affected on total profitability. 6. Strategic selection and external learning mechanism were significantly influenced on competitive power around its local market. Hospitals that are to be competitive by specialization should have to establish mechanism for management such as balanced strategy, coordinating and learning mechanism.

  • In this paper, we suggest a motion analysis method using ART-I1 competitive learning neural network and fuzzy reasoning by matching the same objects through the consecutive image sequence. we use the size and mean intensity of the region obtained from image segmentation for the region matching by the region and use a ART-I1 competitive learning neural network wh~ch has a learning ability to reflect the topology of the input patterns in order to select characteristic points to describe the shape of a region. Motion vectors for each regions are obtained by matching selected characteristic points. However, the two dimensional image, the projection of the the three dimensional real world, produces fuzziness in motion analysis due to its incompleteness by nature and the error from image segmentation used for extracting information about objects. Therefore, the belief degrees for each regions are calculated using fuzzy reasoning to l-nanipulate uncertainty in motion estimation.

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate if any effects of GI cooperative learning method, which is compared to the effects of traditional competitive teaching-learning method on the students' academic attitude in middle school social studies classes. Conclusively, it is asserted to be a much more effective teaching-learning method. Some statistical evidences were gathered by questionnaire method just after the experimental classes being applied for a semester to the 241 first year middle school students in a small city. Using the t-test procedure, it is conformed that GI cooperative learning method can draw much more positive changes in the academic attitude of the students. In short, such positive changes in student's academic learning attitude can be related with the increase of self-trust in learning processes, the change in the conception of the subject, and the spontaneous interaction and verbal communication among the group members.
