An axial fan has competitive advantages that can make air flow more straight and longer and produce larger air volume than the other kinds of fans. In those reasons, axial fans are widely used for ventilator, 4D cinema, duct, and so on. But, as it was designed and manufactured without any mathematical analysis or computer simulations, it is difficult to develop the performance of axial fans. Actually the axial fan is designed and manufactured in industry by imitation or traditional method. Flow velocity and volume of axial fan are changed by pitch angle, frame, the number of blade, camber angle, and chord length. In this paper, the performance of axial fan was analyzed and by computer program known as CFD. Finally, we have designed a new axial fan whose velocity and volume is improved. The performance of new axial fan is also compared with the of conventional fans experimentally.

Recently, organizations intend to adopt new information technology for acquiring relative advantages in competitive business environment. Especially, many companies have paid attention to web-based electronic commerce. But research in this area has largely been performed to the operational and technical aspects of web site. Also the World Wide Web(web) has become one of the most widely used information technologies, but research indicates that there are many firm that are still considering whether to establish a web presence. This study examines factors influencing adoption of corporate web site over time. To examine why companies adopt web site, this study regards web site as an innovation and finds out these reason through Innovation Diffusion Theory. Independent variables of this research are composed of innovation characteristics, organizational characteristics and environmental characteristics. By the result of logistic regression analysis, we find that there are significant differences between early adopters and late adopters of web site for three adoption factors : top management support, organization size, environmental uncertainty. These findings confirm the theoretical frame for adoption of corporate web site. Also this study will provide good guidelines to the companies and the vendors in shaping the strategies of IT adoption and IT diffusion respectively.

건설시장에서 경쟁력을 강화하고 국제정책에 대응하기 위하여 설계업체와 시공업체의 협력을 장려하는 설계시공 일관입찰방식이 대두되었다. 설계시공일괄입찰방식은 공기단축, 사업비 절약, 품질 향상을 위한 전도 유망한 입찰방식이지만 국내 건설산업에서는 제도의 미비, 관계자들의 경험 및 인식부족 등으로 이러한 장점을 살리지 못하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 국내 공공공사 설계시공일괄입찰방식에서의 문제점을 사업비, 품질, 사업기간의 측면에서 분석하여 개선방안을 제안하고자 한다.

The development of information communication technology leads the growth of logistic industry including delivery service as well as electronic commerce. The researchers predict that it will be still improving for the next several years. The logistic information system of railroad courier has been growing for a long time with small-package delivery transportation which is similar to the land-road delivery system. Despite of the long-time growth, it is recently in pain of the great loss since the 1990's, due to the failure to satisfy the customer's need for door-to-door delivery service. But the logistic information system of railroad still has the great potential. There are so many benefits such as timeliness, Punctuality, speed, multi-node storage base, transportation efficiency, energy frugality, environmental sociability, and so on. If the railroad logistic system plays a role of a portion of the nation-wide logistic with other logistic system, the synergy through the balancing logistic will also get much of international competitive advantages. So the objective of this research is to design the model and prototype of the web-based logistic system from which railroad service provider(Korean National Railroad), delivery service providers, and the customers can share the best effective delivery information.

Biodiesel is technically competitive with it and offers technical advantages over conventional petroleum diesel fuel. Biodiesel is an environment friendly alternative liquid fuel that can be used in any diesel engine without modification. In this study, (dP/dCA)max and heat release, emission characteristics with different fuel injection timings are compared between diesel fuel and biodiesel in the D.I. diesel engine with T/C. The engine was operated at five different fuel injection timings from BTDC 6deg to 14deg at 2deg intervals and with four different loads at engine speed of 1800rpm. The experiments in a test engine showed that ranges between low and high of (dP/dCA)max got narrower, as the engine load increased, BD blend rate increased, and fuel injection timing was delayed. Cumulative heat release increased with the advanced fuel injection timing. NOX emissions decreased with the delays of fuel injection timing.

Multiple prior studies stress that continued Kaizen activity is conducive to building and maintaining competitive advantages of manufacturing companies. Meanwhile, it remains unclear as to what kind of management factors may exert impact on sustainment of Kaizen activity. This paper discusses a study conducted on the cases of two manufacturing lines, where such activity has been continued for more than ten years. At first, it was discovered that study period was divided into different periods. It was also found out that 'standstill conditions' which prevent smooth progress of activity exist in many periods, and that such conditions are hard to avoid. The study went on to categorize progress of activity in each period into different patterns, including at which points standstill conditions occurred, thereby, circumstances of standstill conditions were made clear. This paper verified a detailed process of Kaizen activity development in each period and the relationship between that detailed process and points of occurrence of standstill conditions. Thought was also given to factors and actions for smooth development, and effects brought about by overcoming such challenges. Lastly, consideration was given to the future perspectives of the study for elucidating how better Kaizen activity may be managed for continuation.

에너지 절감을 위한 백색 LED 기반 조명은 자유공간상의 광 무선통신 분야를 개척하는 기회를 제공하였다. 가시광 통신을 위한 트랜시버는 LED와 포토다이오드로 구성되므로 높은 대역폭과 신뢰성, 저 전력 등의 장점이 있어 기존의 무선통신과 양립할 수 있는 기술로 주목받고 있다. 그러나 기존의 건축물이나 배와 자동차와 같은 구조물에 조명을 이용한 통신 네트워크를 설치한다는 것은 쉬운 일이 아니다. 본 연구에서는 자동차 또는 선박의 통신망으로 갖춰진 CAN 기반의 LED 통신시스템을 제안한다. 실내무선 네트워크를 위한 CAN 인터페이스 모듈과 트랜시버를 조명 시스템에 적용 가능함을 보였다.

CEPA(Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, hereinafter CEPA) between India and Korea may influence some changes on Korean pharmaceutical industry which shows less competitive advantages than Indian industry in many regards. So the purpose of this paper remains on suggesting the way of enhancing international competitiveness for Korean industry on the basis of double diamond model. Through the comprehensive and deep analysis, our findings on recommendable business strategies for Korea are as follows ; in terms of factor conditions, first, cooperative strategy in R&D for developing generics will be required. Second, Introduction of CMO business can be considered. In terms of demand condition, Korean firms should find out the chance for demand creation in Indian market which has future market potential and American market exploration, as soon as possible. With regards to strategy, structure and competition, trying M&A with leading Indian companies and utilizing well organized medical professionals in India will be considered. In the points of related and supportive parts, lastly, Korean government should try to make so called "National Strategic R&D committee" for pharmaceuticals and bring u-healthcare service to Korea in the first place. If Korean pharmaceutical industry implement above-mentioned strategies, CEPA can be turned into business opportunities from the crisis. As a result, Korean firms shall have more powerful global competitiveness eventually.

본 연구의 목적은 서울지역에 소재한 특급호텔 직원을 대상으로 윤리적 리더십이 심리적 주인의식과 조직몰입에 미치는 영향을 밝히고 심리적 주인의식이 윤리적 리더십과 조직몰입에 미치는 매개효과를 파악하고자 하였다. 실증조사를 위해 300명의 특급호텔 직원들을 대상으로 설문조사가 실시되었고, 회귀분석을 통해 가설이 검정되었다. 연구 결과, 윤리적 리더십이 조직몰입에 유의한 영향력을 미치고 심리적 주인의식이 윤리적 리더십과 조직몰입의 관계에 매개효과를 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 경쟁우위를 위해 윤리적 리더십의 중요성과 심리적 주인의식의 필요성을 강조하는 시스템구축이 필요함을 제시하고 있다.

최근 핀테크 열풍과 더불어 모바일 결제 시장에서 글로벌 IT 기업들의 경쟁이 치열해지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 모바일 결제 기술을 소개하고 그 특징 및 동향을 분석한다. 근거리 통신을 사용한 오프라인 기반의 모바일 결제 기술의 방식 별 특징 및 장단점 등을 서술하고, 이 분야의 글로벌 선두 기업인 애플, 삼성, 구글이 출시한 모바일 결제 서비스 사례를 통하여 그 특징들을 비교 분석한다. 급속한 성장이 예상되는 모바일 결제 시장에서 더욱 안정된 서비스를 제공을 위해서는 다양한 근거리 통신 및 보안기술에 대한 연구가 필요하다.
