간호대학생의 자아존중감, 공감, 실존적 안녕감이 영적간호역량에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Self-esteem, Empathy and Existential Well-being on Spiritual Care Competence in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify effects of self-esteem, empathy and existential well-being on spiritual care competence in nursing students. Methods: Participants were 357 nursing students from three colleges in G metropolitan city. The survey was conducted from March 11 to April 3, 2015, with a self-report questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression analysis with SPSS version 21.0. Results: Differences in spiritual care competence were statistically significant according to experience in providing spiritual care and recognition of need for spiritual care. There were significant differences in self-esteem, empathy and existential well-being according to satisfaction with major, satisfaction with life and recognition of the need for spiritual care. Spiritual care competence of nursing students showed a significantly positive correlation to self-esteem, empathy and existential well-being. Factors influencing spiritual care competence were recognition of need for spiritual care, self-esteem, empathy and experience in providing spiritual care, which explained about 16% of spiritual care competence. Conclusion: Results indicate the importance of developing an intervention program for nursing students to strengthen spiritual care competence through improved recognition of needs for spiritual care, self-esteem, empathy and experience in providing spiritual care.

병원간호사의 공감역량과 조직몰입이 고객지향성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Compassion Competence and Organizational Commitment on Customer Orientation in Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to examine the effects of compassion competence and organizational commitment on customer orientation in hospital nurses. Methods: The participant of this study was 223 nurses who have worked at a tertiary hospital in Chungcheong Province for at least one year. The general characteristics, compassion competence, organizational commitment, and customer orientation of the participants were collected, using self-reported questionnaires, from June 15 to June 29, 2018. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA ($Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test), Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using an SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. Results: Customer orientation was significantly associated with organizational commitment (r=.51, p<.001), and compassion competence (r=.74, p<.001). Compassion competence (${\beta}=.62$, p<.001), organizational commitment (${\beta}=.17$, p=.004), and marital status (${\beta}=.11$, p=.034) were identified as the predictors of customer orientation. These variables explained 59.1% of the variance in customer orientation. Conclusion: This study confirmed that compassion competence and organizational commitment may have an impact on customer orientation in hospital Nurses. Therefore, to improve customer orientation in hospital nurses, it is necessary to develop interventions and education programs considering these factors.

유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육 역량과 분노 표현과의 관계: 자녀에 대한 염려의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effects of Concern: The Relationship Between Parenting Competence and Anger Expression Among Mothers with Young Children)

  • Objective: This study aimed to find out whether concern for children mediates the impact of parenting competence on the anger expression of mothers with young children. Methods: Subjects consisted of 219 mothers with children aged 3 to 6 years old attending kindergartens and daycare centers. The motehrs were given 3 rating scales about parenting competence, concerns about their children, and anger expression. The Parental Anger Scales measuring anger expression consisted of sub-factors such as situational anger, impulsive behavior, and difficulty of anger control. Results: Using the data collected, correlation analysis and the regression analysis procedure by Baron & Kenny(1968) were conducted; the significance of the mediating effects was verified by the Sobel test. First, the study found that there were significant positive correlations between mother's parenting competence, concern about children, and anger expression. Second, mothers' concern about their children had partial mediating effects on the relationships between parenting competence and overall anger expression, situational anger and impulsive behavior, and a complete mediating effect on the relationship between parenting competence and difficulty with anger control. Conclusion/Implications: These results were discussed in terms of the approach and content of parent education to help parents with young children control their anger.

The Impact of Distribution Competence on Customer Value Creation, Competitive Advantage and Performance of Retailers in Omni-channel: A Case in Vietnam

  • Purpose: Distribution competence plays a key role in supply chain management. A successful distribution system will bring high values and profit for company. Omni-channel is a modern type of distribution which is used by many companies to access customers more effectively. This research is about the influence of distribution competence on customer value creation, competitive advantage and business performance of retailers in omni-channel. Research design, data and methodology: Questionnaires were issued to 200 managers who have experiences in using an Omni-channel to provide consumer goods. PLS-SEM is used to check the relationship among these above factors in omni-channel in Vietnam context. Results: Distribution competence has positive direct effect on business performance. At the same time, it has positive indirect effect on business performance through the mediating role of customer value creation and competitive advantage. Moreover, the role of mediating variables make contribution to strengthen the relationship of distribution competence and business performance in omni-channel. Conclusions: Through distribution competence, retailers can get competitive advantage, create more values for customers and increase business performance in omni channel in Vietnam.

치위생과 학생의 성인 애착, 자아존중감 및 사회적 지지가 대인관계 유능성에 미치는 영향 (The effects of dental hygiene students' adult attachment, self-respect, and sociable support on their interpersonal competence)

  • Objectives: This study sought to identify dental hygiene students' adult attachment, interpersonal competence, self-respect, and sociable support, and to identify factors that affect interpersonal competence. Method: A self-administered survey was conducted on 180 students attending dental hygiene schools nationwide from 14 February to 30 May, 2023. Descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVAs, Pearson correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple linear regression analys were used, as determined by the SPSS 26.0 program. Results: Dental hygiene students' interpersonal competence measured 3.61 points, adult attachment measured 3.44 points, self-respect measured 3.44 points, and sociable support measured 4.00 points. In terms of general characteristics, significant differences were found in satisfaction with college life and club membership. Interpersonal competence was positively correlated with adult attachment, self-respect, and sociable support. The factor that had the greatest impact on interpersonal competence of dental hygiene students was sociable support, with an explanatory power of 37.3%. Conclusions: In order to improve the sociable support for dental hygiene students, a social activity support network within and outside of school is needed.

국제 통상환경에서 국제신벤처기업의 기업가정신, 수출성과 관계와 학습역량의 매개효과 (The mediating effect of learning competence between the entrepreneurship and export performance of international new ventures in global trade environment)

  • 본 연구는 글로벌 통상환경에서 빠르게 외국시장에 진출하는 국제신벤처기업의 기업가정신과 수출성과의 관계와 학습역량의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 국제신벤처기업은 국내 시장에서의 경험과 충분한 자원을 보유하지 못했음에도 적극적으로 외국시장을 개척하고 수출활동을 전개하는 기업이다. 기존 연구에서는 해당 기업의 출현 원인으로 창업자나 경영진의 기업가정신 그리고 동 기업이 보유한 특유자원에 주목하였다. 따라서 특유자원을 활용하는 역량관점의 연구들이 있었다. 본 연구는 이 중에서 학습역량의 역할에 주목하였다. 학습역량은 기업의 무형자원으로 기업가정신이라는 심리적 경향성을 조직 문화에 반영할 수 있는 수단이다. 이로써 외국시장에서 필요한 정보를 빠르게 학습하고 조직 안으로 체화하며, 시장에 필요한 대응방안을 만들 수 있다. 이처럼 국제신벤처기업의 활동에 영향을 주는 주요 요인과 수출성과의 관계를 실증분석하려 국내 수출기업 중 국제신벤처기업의 기준을 충족하는 115개 표본을 대상으로 조사를 진행하였다. 학습역량의 매개효과를 포함해서 6개의 가설을 설정하였으며, LISREL을 사용해서 가설검정을 진행하였다. 분석 결과 기업가정신 중 혁신성향은 학습역량과 수출성과에 모두 긍정적 영향을 주었다. 반면 위험감수성향은 학습역량에는 긍정적 영향을 주었지만 수출성과에는 유의한 결과를 보여주지 못했다. 또한, 학습역량은 수출성과에 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 매개효과 분석에서는 학습역량이 기업가정신 중 혁신성향과 수출성과 사이에서는 부분매개효과를 위험감수성향과 수출성과 사이에서는 완전매개효과를 보여주었다. 본 결과로 학습역량의 매개효과를 확인하였으며, 앞으로 국제신벤처기업을 대상으로 학습역량의 역할을 탐구하려는 연구에 이론적 시사점을 제시하였다. 위험감수성향과 수출성과의 관계와 학습역량의 매개효과에서는 충분한 학습역량 구축이 위험감수성향의 역할에 선행한다는 실무적 시사점을 제시하였다.

간호사의 셀프리더십, 간호업무수행능력, 직무만족이 직무몰입에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Self-Leadership, Clinical Competence and Job Satisfaction on Nurses' Job Involvement)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide basic data required to improve nursing resources management and nurse organizations. Methods: The data were collected using a questionnaire. Participants were 294 nurses who were working at 8 hospitals with more than 500 beds located in G and C cities, Korea. Data analysis was done using t-test, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test, Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression analysis with SPSS. Results: There were significant correlations between self-leadership, clinical competence, job satisfaction and job involvement. Factors affecting job involvement were job satisfaction, self-leadership, length of clinical career and length of career in current department. Job satisfaction was the most influential factor with an explanatory power of 41%. Conclusion: Findings show that to strengthen job involvement, identification and management of factors that affect job satisfaction and self-leadership are required and relevant training and strategies should be developed and used.

작업치료대학생의 실습만족을 위한 임상수행능력 자기보고식 척도 개발 (Development of Clinical Competency Self-Report Scale for Clinical Satisfaction of Occupational Therapy Student)

  • 본 연구는 작업치료대학생의 임상수행능력을 측정하는 척도를 개발하고 타당화 하는 데 목적이 있다. 임상수행능력 척도 개발은 임상수행능력의 개념과 선행연구를 분석하였으며 초점집단면담(FGI)을 거쳐 구성요인과 예비문항을 제작하였다. 다음으로 이 문항들에 대해 4인의 전문가를 대상으로 내용타당도 검증을 실시하여 36개의 예비문항을 개발하였다. 최종 척도 문항을 선정하기 위해 203명의 작업치료학과 3, 4학년을 대상으로 본 검사를 실시하여 문항분석과 구인타당도를 검증하였다. 문항분석 결과 삭제된 문항은 없었고, 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 전문의식 요인 8문항, 작업치료 평가요인 11문항, 작업치료 중재요인 4문항, 의사소통 요인 4문항으로 총 4요인 27개 문항으로 추출되었다. 내적일관성 계수인 Cronbach's α를 통해 요인별 신뢰도를 검증한 결과, .87~.94로 나타났으며, 전체 신뢰도는 .96으로 나타나 양호한 것으로 분석되었다. 임상수행능력 척도 총점과 요인들 간 상관은 모두 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났다. 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 4개 요인 27문항에 대한 요인구조의 적합도 지수는 (χ2=.76, df=.31, CFI=.81, TLI=.80, RMSEA=.79) 수용 가능한 수준으로 볼 수 있다. 임상수행능력 척도는 작업치료대학생을 대상으로 임상실습 전·후의 임상수행능력을 객관적으로 진단하거나 평가하는 데 유용하게 활용될 것을 제언한다.

Reliability and Validity of a Korean Version of the Cultural Awareness Scale (K-CAS)

  • Few instruments are available to measure nurses' perceptions of cultural competence in South Korea. Furthermore, the equivalence of factors between original and translated instruments has not been evaluated. The specific aims of this study were to identify the validity and reliability of a Korean version of the Cultural Awareness Scale (K-CAS) and to evaluate the equivalence of factors between the original CAS and the K-CAS. A total of 515 nursing students completed the 26-item K-CAS, 28-item Caffrey Cultural Competence in Healthcare Scale (CCCHS), and eight-item Openness to Diversity and Challenge Scale (ODCS). The K-CAS exhibited good reliability (${\alpha}=.83$) and construct validity by correlating with the CCCHS (r=.344, p<.001) and ODCS (r=.394, p<.001). Confirmatory factor analysis results of the K-CAS confirmed the same factor structure as the original CAS. The K-CAS could be a useful tool to assess the concept of cultural competence among nursing students and nurses.

주의력결핍/과잉행동장애 아동 가족의 삶의 질 영향 요인 (Factors Influencing Family Quality of Life among Mothers of Children with ADHD)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the level of quality of family life, parental locus of control, and parental sense of competence, and to elucidate factors that influence family quality of life in the mothers of children with Attention Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD). Method: A convenient sample of mothers from 6 child psychiatric clinics was used in this cross-sectional survey design. Questionnaires used for data collection included the following scales: Family Quality of Life, Parental Locus of Control-Short Form Revised, Parental Sense of Competence. Results: The level of family quality of life was mid-range. A positive relationship was found between Family Quality of Life and the research variables. The significant predictors of family quality of life were parental locus of control, parental sense of competence, and duration of medication and these variables accounted for 21.8% of the variance in family quality of life. Conclusions: These results indicate that family quality of life is an important factor which health care provider should assess and evaluate for children with ADHD and their families. The results of this study suggest that family quality of life is an important link with parental sense of competence and parental locus of control.
