This study was carried out to investigate vegetation and tree vitality of Berchemia berchemiaefolia habitat to recommend basic information for synecological characteristics. Totally 9 vegetation data were collected and analyzed. And one plant community (Quercus serrata-Berchemia berchemiaefolia community) including 43 families 66genera 72 species 8 varieties and 3 forma was differentiated. Quercus serrata-Berchemia berchemiaefolia community was subdivided into Typical subunit and Quercus mongolica subunit. Species showing the higer r-NCD value in the plant community were Berchemia berchemiaefolia, Quercus serrata, Lindera obtusiloba, Fraxinus rhynchophylla, Acer pseudo-sieboldianum, Corylus heterophylla var. thunbergii. In tree vitality result, Berchemia berchemiaefolia population containing 35 individual was estimated 3 monitoring categories; 1) General 2) Principal 3) Absolute. These categories frequencies arranged by the order General Monitoring (85.7%; 30 individual), Principal Monitoring (11.4%; 4 individual) and Absolute Monitoring (2.9%; 1 individual).

Agro-fishing villages of agriculture and fishery are suffering deepening gap with urban areas due to depreciation from their products market opening pressure. They are facing problems of decreasing and aging population, poor settlement environment, etc. and losing their vitality for their low productivity and lack of young labor force. These issues of agro-fishing villages of agriculture and fishery are divided in so various items and classes that it is plausible to approach in a way to connect each issue in a small frame of each by selecting sub topics according to each item and each class rather than to solve the issues in a large frame. Chungchungnam-do is approaching the issues through 3 agro innovations(agro fishery, agro fishing villages, agro fishing people) in local government level and Durae enterprises are solving local problems through the self supporting residents' community business by utilizing local resources. This study is to draw clues and solutions to vitalize agro fishery villages through community businesses by detailed reviews and research on cases of Durae enterprises' characteristics and their vitalizations and provide a new alternative plan to agro fishery villages losing their vitality and demolishing their communities.

Purpose: This study investigated attitudes toward general elders and elders with dementia among nursing students before beginning the clinical practicum. In addition, students' characteristics differentiating the attitudes were examined. Responses from 120 out of 121 students were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient, paired t-test, ANOVA, and Scheffe test. Results: Students held negative attitudes toward both types of elders except for generosity dimension toward general elders showing a neutral attitude. Elders with dementia were evaluated more negatively than general elders in all the dimensions of vitality, generosity and flexibility. Vitality and generosity toward general elders were different according to intimacy and the degree of communication with elders. Generosity toward general elders was also different according to students' religious beliefs. Students with interest in elders/issues showed more negative attitudes of vitality and flexibility toward elders with dementia. Conclusions: Students in general had negative attitudes toward elders and more negative attitudes toward elders with dementia. We need to put more efforts into the entire nursing curriculum in order to improve attitudes toward elders with particular concern over attitudes toward elders with dementia.
As our lifestyles have changed due to rapid industrialization and urbanization, new social and communication problems have been caused and there have been lots of discussion on regional communication. For communities to become alternatives with realistic meanings in this changed society, considerations on social and spatial conditions are needed. Therefore, public space which works as a device of physical environment for activation of communities needs more active changes which encourages social communication. In respect to the activation of communities, the following suggestions are given: First, physical devices of a urban plaza should be arranged to support various programs presented along with consideration of human behaviors as users. Second, fundamental facilities of the plaza should accommodate various activities through connections with programs and commercial space. Third, when cultural and historical characteristics of the community are understood, the plaza can form regionality and symbolism through artistic representation. And users can form the identity of community. Fourth, transportation facilities should be separated from or coexist with areas of passengers and the plaza should have its own identity through symbolic sculptures.

ANOVA and regression analysis were used to analyze the collected data. Results : The management environment factor of organizational health was statistically significant in the public hospital compared to the private hospital. The reliability factor of customer organization was statistically significant in the public hospital and religious hospital respectively compared to the private hospital. For reactivity, the religious hospital was statistically significant compared to private hospital. A positive influence was shown in the vitality factor at the public hospital, and community orientation at the private hospital, while both community orientation and career showed effects at the religious hospital. ICU had a negative influence on customer orientation at the private hospital. Conclusions : The reason vitality had a relatively more important effect on customer orientation in the public hospital was due that age group of 20~29 was the dominant socio-demographic factor. Furthermore, the influence of community orientation on customer orientation in the private hospital and religious hospital may be related to the nurses' career.

This study intended to discover the communicative characteristics of libraries, such as locality, communality, interactivity, and organic vitality, and measure as to whether the components constituting them were appropriate, and based on the research results, it was intended to establish the role of public libraries based on communicative characteristics. As a result of the study, it finally turned out that the libraries had the four communicative characteristics of 'locality', 'communality', 'interactivity', and 'organic vitality'. The four communicative characteristics may be classified into 16 factors and 63 detailed factors accordingly. Examining the characteristics of library communication, first, locality means that local residents create and maintain the identity of a social, historical, and cultural locality while sharing the space of a library. In the library, the users can receive local life information or create a cultural identity of the locality through communication between the users. Second, communality is a fundamental factor in forming a community of local residents and represents the characteristics of a group formed based on place and geographical characteristics, culture and belief system, and interests. Third, interactivity refers to a kind of behavior in which users interact with other users, information providers, and books and information in the library to give and receive influence. The actions in which two or more objects share knowledge, thoughts, emotions, and opinions may be seen as being accomplished through interaction. Lastly, organic vitality means seeking the continuous maintenance and development of the community, and creating a lasting characteristic even in the changing environment of the library.
