In this paper, we introduce a novel key management scheme that is based on the key pre-distribution but provides the key re-distribution method, in order to manage keys for message encryption and authentication of lower-layer sensor nodes on hierarchical mobile sensor networks. The characteristics of our key management are as follows: First, the role of key management is distributed to aggregator nodes as well as a sink node, to overcome the weakness of centralized management. Second, a sink node generates keys using regression model, thus it stores only the information for calculating the keys using the key information received from nodes, but does not store the relationship between a node and a key, and the keys themselves. As the disadvantage of existing key pre-distributions, they do not support the key re-distribution after the deployment of nodes, and it is hard to extend the key information in the case that sensor nodes in the network enlarge. Thirdly, our mechanism provides the resilience to node capture(${\lambda}$-security), also provided by the existing key pre-distributions, and fourth offers the key freshness through key re-distribution, key distribution to mobile nodes, and scalability to make up for the weak points in the existing key pre-distributions. Fifth, our mechanism does not fix the relationship between a node and a key, thus supports the anonymity and untraceability of mobile nodes. Lastly, we compare ours with existing mechanisms, and verify our performance through the overhead analysis of communication, computation, and memory.

As the 21st century paradigm of healthcare service changes from post-therapeutic treatment to disease prevention and management in advance, the M2M-based u-healthcare application service is increasingly important. M2M-based u-healthcare application service uses mobile handsets equipped with sensors to measure vital information, and the medical staff in remote locations can manage the health of the patient or the public in real time. In this paper, IEEE/HL7 translation gateway, utilizing the gateway based on M2M u-healthcare application service structure, which is based on international standards, has been designed and implemented. Specifically, the gateway between ISO/IEEE 11073 standards and ANSI HL7 has been developed. The former defines the protocol for the exchange of information between the agent device and the manger devices for measuring and handling biological signal, and the latter defines the application layer protocol for the exchange of various healthcare information systems. Finally, in order to demonstrate the functionality of the proposed architecture, the M2M-based U-healthcare application service based on IEEE/HL7 translation gateway, utilizing the gateway, has been developed which can measure, collect and process a variety of vital signs such as ECG or SpO2.

In this paper, the design of multilayer radome within, the insertion loss, -0.3 dB in X-band with PSO was carried out based on two cases. The first is that, deciding material constant of skin and core, each layer thickness of c-sandwich radome with PSO is found and the second is that, deciding material constant and thickness of the skins of both sides, the material constant and thickness of three layers between skins of both sides using PSO is decided. The performance of the designed radome almost agreed with the required performance. It was showed that the radome design applying PSO algorithm is easy and fast and the optimum radome is also designed in combination of the various parameters of radome. From these results, the radome having various performance can be designed except the tedious calculation and also be applied to various radome structure.

This paper presents a channel structure for promising high performance pseudomorphic high electron mobility transistor(pHEMT) switching device for design and fabricating of microwave control circuits, such as switches, phase shifters, attenuators, limiters, for application in personal mobile communication systems. Using the designed epitaxial channel layer structure and ETRI's $0.5\mu$m pHEMT switch process, single pole double throw (SPDT) Tx/Rx monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) switch was fabricated for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band wireless local area network (WLAN) systems. The SPDT switch exhibits a low insertion loss of 0.849 dB, high isolation of 32.638 dB, return loss of 11.006 dB, power transfer capability of 25dBm, and 3rd order intercept point of 42dBm at frequency of 5.8GHz and control voltage of 0/-3V These performances are enough for an application to 5 GHz band WLAN systems.

With the advancement of information and communication technology, tactical networks are continuously being converted to All-IP future tactical networks that integrate all application services based on Internet protocol. Futuristic tactical mesh network is built with tactical WAN (wide area network) nodes that are inter-connected by a mesh structure. In order to guarantee QoS (quality of service) of application services, tactical service mesh (TSM) is suggested as an intermediate layer between infrastructure and application layers for futuristic tactical mesh network. The tactical service mesh requires dynamic QoS monitoring and control for intelligent QoS coordination. However, legacy networking nodes used for existing tactical networks are difficult to support these functionality due to inflexible monitoring support. In order to resolve such matter, we propose a tactical mesh WAN node as a hardware/software co-designed networking node in this paper. The tactical mesh WAN node is conceptually designed to have multi-access networking interfaces and virtualized networking switches by leveraging the DANOS whitebox server/switch. In addition, we explain how to apply eBPF-based traffic monitoring to the tactical mesh WAN node and verify the traffic monitoring feasibility for supporting QoS coordination of tactical-mesh traffic.
Although IoT systems are used in a variety of heterogeneous environments as cloud environments develop, all IoT devices are not provided with reliable protocols and services. This paper proposes an IoT data management technique that can extend the IoT cloud environment to an n-layer multi-level structure so that information collected from different heterogeneous IoT devices can be efficiently sorted and processed. The proposed technique aims to classify and process IoT information by transmitting routing information and weight information through wireless data link data collected from heterogeneous IoT devices. The proposed technique not only delivers information classified from IoT devices to the corresponding routing path but also improves the efficiency of IoT data processing by assigning priority according to weight information. The IoT devices used in the proposed technique use each other's reliable protocols, and queries for other IoT devices locally through a local cloud composed of hierarchical structures have features that ensure scalability because they maintain a certain cost.y channels of IoT information in order to make the most of the multiple antenna technology.
As the environment using intelligent IoT devices increases, various studies are underway to ensure the integrity of information sent and received from intelligent IoT devices. However, all IoT information generated in heterogeneous environments is not fully provided with reliable protocols and services. In this paper, we propose an intelligent-based multi-blockchain model that can extract only critical information among various information processed by intelligent IoT devices. In the proposed model, blockchain is used to ensure the integrity of IoT information sent and received from IoT devices. The proposed model uses the correlation index of the collected information to trust a large number of IoT information to extract only the information with a high correlation index and bind it with blockchain. This is because the collected information can be extended to the n-tier structure as well as guaranteed reliability. Furthermore, since the proposed model can give weight information to the collection information based on blockchain, similar information can be selected (or bound) according to priority. The proposed model is able to extend the collection information to the n-layer structure while maintaining the data processing cost processed in real time regardless of the number of IoT devices.

This research aimed to develop the district unit plan simulation using procedural modeling based on shape grammar. For this, Esri's CityEngine 2020.0 was selected as a main development tool, and Inside Commercial Area in Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul as the research site where about 25% of the total area was developed over the past five years. Specifically, the research developed the simulation through the following three phases of Data-Information-Knowledge after selecting necessary parameters. In the Data phase, 2 and 3 dimensional data were obtained by utilizing data sharing platforms. In the next Information phase, the acquired data were generated into various procedural models according to the shape grammar, and the 2D and 3D layers were then integrated using relevant applications. In the final Knowledge phase, three-dimensional spatial analysis and storytelling contents were produced based on the integrated layer. As a result, the research suggests the following three implications for the simulation development. First, data accuracy and improvement of sharing platforms are needed in order to effectively carry out the simulation development. Second, the guidelines for district unit plans could be utilized and developed into shape grammar for procedural modeling. Third, procedural modeling is expected to be used as an alternative tool for communication and information delivery.

We have demonstrated a sandwich-type ZnO-based piezoelectric energy harvesting nanogenerator, namely ZCZ-NG device, composed of symmetrically stacked layers of ZnO/carbon tape/ZnO structure. Especially, we have adopted a conductive double-sided adhesive carbon tape in an effort to fabricate a high-quality ZCZ-NG device, leading to its superior output performance in terms of the peak-to-peak output voltage. Effects of the device size, ZnO layer thickness, and bending strain rate on the device performance have been investigated by measuring the output voltage. Moreover, to evaluate the effectiveness of the fabricated ZCZ-NG devices, we have experimentally implemented a sensor network testbed which can utilize the output voltages of ZCZ-NG devices. This sensor network testbed consists of several components such as Arduino-based transmitter and receiver nodes, wirelessly transmitting the sensed information of each node. We hope that this research combining the ZnO-based energy harvesting devices and IoT sensor networks will contribute to the development of more advanced energy harvester-driven IoT sensor networks in the future.
