The USB-IF has specified a Wireless USB (WUSB) protocol based on UWB for high speed wireless home networks and WPANs. In this paper, firstly, performance degradation due to the Private Distributed Reservation Protocol (DRP) conflict problem caused by devices' mobility is analyzed. And a novel relay transmission protocol combined with Private DRP conflict resolution is proposed to overcome the performance degradation at Private DRP conflicts. In order to give the loser device due to Private DRP conflicts another chance to maintain resources, the proposed relay transmission protocol executed at each device helps the loser device reserve another indirect link maintaining the required resources via a relay node.

Objectives: This study examined the effects of married couple's sexual satisfaction on perceived family strengths based on family systems theory that the changes of family subsystem could extend itself to involve the entire family system. Methods: For this purpose, the structured survey was conducted by 151 married couples living in Jeollanam-do and Gwangju. The data was analysed by SPSS 21.0 program. Results: First, the average scores of family strengths and sexual satisfaction were a little higher than the middle. There were no differences between husbands and wives. Second, family strengths perceived by husbands were significantly affected by income satisfaction, conflicts and sexual satisfaction. In wives, education level, satisfaction with communication times, conflicts and sexual satisfaction were influential factors. Conclusion: It is necessary to pay the most attention to sexual satisfaction of couples in order to improve family strengths. In addition, it is actually required to develop various couple programs about enhancing sexual satisfaction related to the effective couple communication and problem-solving methods. It also have to imply the requirements considering characteristics of male and female, husbands and wives.

The rapid growth of electronic commerce increases the potential for conflicts over contracts which have been entered into online(e.g. about price, late delivery, defects, specifications...). Using arbitration as a dispute resolution alternative is becoming increasingly popular especially in cases involving intellectual property rights and technology disputes since speed and secrecy are essential. The use of online dispute resolution(ODR) mechanisms to resolve such e-commerce conflicts is crucial for building business, consumer confidence and permitting access to justice in an online business environment. However, the use of the Internet and the World Wide Web in dispute resolution has an impact on the types of communication implied in the relevant processes(negotiation, mediation and arbitration). This paper deals with legal issues with respect to the practice of online arbitration. The paper begins with a brief introduction to the theories behind arbitration. These sections will be followed by a discussion on the specifics of online arbitration and the problems the process faces online arbitration by the legal community.

With the increasing demand for interoperability among existing learning resource systems in order to enable the sharing of learning resources, such resources need to be annotated with ontologies that use different metadata standards. These different ontologies must be reconciled through ontology mediation, so as to cope with information heterogeneity problems, such as semantic and structural conflicts. In this paper, we propose an ontology-mapping technique using Semantic Web Rule Language (SWRL) to generate semantic mapping rules that integrate learning resources from different systems and that cope with semantic and structural conflicts. Reasoning rules are defined to support a semantic search for heterogeneous learning resources, which are deduced by rule-based inference. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach enables the integration of learning resources originating from multiple sources and helps users to search across heterogeneous learning resource systems.

The purpose of this paper was to find the apartment manager's general work, problems and opinion. 35 managers of multi-family housing which located in Kwangmyung city were interviewed during July, 1999. Questionnaire was consisted of questions which manager's opinion about their job boundaries. At the managerial standpoint, there was a perceived gap in expectation level about the manager's role between the manager and residents in multi-family housing complexes. The fact that the lack of interpersonal communication caused this gap was founded. Managerial rules and guidelines should be described in detail and be known by all residents. Specified guideline should be suggested regarding the boundaries of the manager's job, responsibilities and rights, and extra work beyond the management job in order to prevent conflicts or problems between the managing body and the residents. There guidelines also play an important role in solving the conflicts and problems in multi-family housing.

The complexity of IC has rapidly increased as VLSI fabrication technology has grown up quickly. This paper proposes verification methods for data conflicts and protocol between IPs for SoC with coverage metrics. The high-level events is defined to cooperation between blocks or process statement in HDL, or a sequence of performing a job compared to low-level event. They are classified into two categories, resource conflicts and protocol or specification-dependent conflicts. And two coverage metrics used for code coverage in low-level event are proposed to verify the hish-level events. The events of resource conflicts can be detected by using statement coverage metric if global signal or variable has flags in a testbench program, and protocol-dependent events can be checked by data flow metric or path metric.

Background: Communication plays an important role for the well being of patients, families and also health care professionals in cancer care. Conversely, ineffective communication may cause depression, increased anxiety, hopelessness and decreased of quality life for patients, families and also nurses. Objective: This study aimed to explore communication difficulties of pediatric hematology/oncology nurses with patients and their families, as well as their suggestions about communication difficulties. Materials and Methods: It was conducted in a pediatric hematology/oncology hospital in Ankara, Turkey. Qualitative data were collected by focus groups, with 21 pediatric hematology/oncology nursing staff from three groups. Content analysis was used for data analysis. Results: Findings were grouped in three main categories. The first category concerned communication difficulties, assessing problems in responding to questions, ineffective communication and conflicts with the patient's families. The second was about the effects of communication difficulties on nurses and the last main category involved suggestions for empowering nurses with communication difficulties, the theme being related to institutional issues. Conclusions: Nurses experience communication difficulties with children and their families during long hospital stays. Communication difficulties particularly increase during crisis periods, like at the time of first diagnosis, relapse, the terminal stage or on days with special meaning such as holidays. The results obtained indicate that pediatric nurses and the child/family need to be supported, especially during crisis periods. Feeling of empowerment in communication will improve the quality of care by reducing the feelings of exhaustion and incompetence in nurses.

This study suggests new perspective of interorganizational communication. The importance of communication quality is increasing because it affects performance of marketing channels. In perspective of information exchange, communication quality consists of accuracy, availability, timing, and credibility. In research model, the antecedents of communication quality adopt willingness of information sharing and capability of efficient communication. To examine effects of communication quality on channel performance, research model includes relation of communication quality and conflicts. For empirical test, relation of PC makers and their dealers is decided as a focal dyad. Findings indicate that overall hypotheses are supported except the relation of willingness of information sharing and communication quality.

This study explored the spousal financial communication, the household financial satisfaction and their relationships among couples living in Iksan-si, Chunlabuk-do. As results of this study, the differences in financial satisfaction were significant for couples, and between full-time housewives and employed wives, but not for two groups of husbands by spouse's employment. Openness of financial communication was significantly explained by personal income ratio to total family income and conflicts of it was done by age, total family income, personal income ratio to total family income, white-color workers. Generally, financial satisfaction was significantly explained by educational level, total family income, and white-color workers.
