  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of lesson planning of pre-service elementary teachers to develop scientific communication skills for elementary school students. For this purpose, lesson plans and lesson planning journals written by the 53 pre-service teachers were collected and analyzed. The results of the research were as follows. The pre-service elementary teachers used an implicit and contextual approach to develop scientific communication skills. Teaching and learning activities for enhancing scientific communication were mainly conducted in words or in writing. There were many activities expressing elementary school students' thoughts and presenting the results of experiments in the lesson plan. There were many cases in which the pre-service teachers' lesson plans did not include the evaluation of scientific communication skills. In their lesson plans, there are a lot of mutual activities between teachers and students, team and whole students, and inter-students within teams together, and students' individual activities from requests of teachers. We found that the pre-service teachers had various difficulties when they planned the science lesson to develop scientific communication skills. The pre-service teachers were less likely to refer to specialized materials related to science education when planning their classes.

  • The purpose of the paper is communication between multi-agents for student's learning at web based collaborative learning. First, this study investigated the whole contents and characteristics of an agent system and discussed KQML, communication language between multi-agents. Also, we suggested architecture of an agent based system for collaborative learning and interaction method between agents using KQML. We design어 and implemented collaborative learning system using Java programming language, and we also demonstrate the efficiency of collaborative learning system by communication between multi-agents through experiments.

  • Although Internet provides a lot of convenience such as easy accessibility, interactivity, concurrency, openness, subsequent dysfunction causes serious problems. Especially elementary school students are indiscriminately exposed to the problems, and thus information communication ethics education is needed for the students. This study conducted a survey with randomly selected 5th and 6th graders in Chungbuk area, and analyzed 'students' experience and perception related to information dysfunction' and 'their experience and perception related to information & communication ethics education at school'. In addition, for the detailed understanding of students' current status and accompanying instructional approach, an additional analysis was conducted to examine the existence of the difference according to students' gender and grade. As a result, significant differences were found according to students' gender and grade in their experience and perception related to the information dysfunction and information & communication ethics education. Considering such differences according to students' gender and grade, appropriate instructional approach needs to be prepared to satisfy students' needs for more effective information & communication ethics education.

  • Today the system of higher education needs significant reforms. Intellectualization of the educational process in HEIs aims to improve the quality of educational services. Intellectual information technologies are information technologies that help a person to accelerate the analysis of the political, economic, social, and technical situation, as well as the synthesis of management decisions. The basis for their mastery is information and communication technologies. The purpose of the research work is to identify the relationship between the introduction of information and communication technologies and the increase in the level of intellectualization of higher education. The article substantiates the expediency of introducing information and communication technologies in order to improve the intellectualization of the educational process in higher education. An empirical study of the variables that characterize the level of intellectualization of higher education through the proposed techniques has been conducted. The tendencies characteristic of pedagogical conditions of implementation of information and communication model in the educational process were revealed. It is proved that the level of intellectualization of higher education depends on the implemented pedagogical conditions. The effectiveness of the proposed information and communication model is also confirmed. Given the data obtained during the study and the low constraints that may affect the results of further research on this issue should focus on the study of other variables that characterize the state of intellectualization of the educational process.

The rate of teenager using the information communication are over 90 percent. We can communicate quickly and easily owing to the rapid increment of the information communication. But there are adverse effects because of the rapid increment of the information communication. Specially, teenagers have been quickly influenced by the adverse effects. We must consider a counterplan for the adverse effects. Therefore, in this paper, I will survey the present status of ethics education for information communication which have been taught in school and the actual condition using information communication of teenagers. And I will analyze the connection of them. In addition, I will propose the desirable direction of ethics education for information communication.

  • The purpose of this research was to develop risk communication (RC) strategy and educational web-site on food additives for elementary students and their parents to improve their perception on food additives and dietary life. First of all, a survey was conducted from 1,200 elementary children and their parents to diagnose the perception and information needs on food additives. The survey revealed that most children and their parents did not have enough knowledge on food additives and demanded the safety information on food additives. Second, previous researches on food communication were analyzed to develop a risk communication model, and it was directly applied in this study. Third, a web site (www.foodnara.go.kr/foodaddy) was developed to upload the education materials along with up-to-date information and classroom activities for teachers on food additives. Fourth, the developed homepage was evaluated by applying to about 100 children and parents each, and majority of them showed high levels of understanding (children 85.7%, parents 79%) and satisfaction (children 77.2%, parents 64%), and the effect of getting over the prejudice against food additives was observed. The RC model developed in this study could be applied to any food risk communication, and the content and materials in this web site including booklets, animations, and quiz could be used effectively to promote the communication on food additives. In the future, it will be necessary to advertise the web site to be utilized by various consumer levels and to update the contents continuously by developing consumer-friendly communication materials.

The data were collected from September 3 to December 6, 2019, and analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program with descriptive statistics, Shapiro-Wilk, Paired t-test. There were statistically significant differences in the subject's communication skill(t=-2.87, p=.005), communicative competence self-appraisal(t=-3.80, p=<.001) before and after human relations and communication education, but there was no statistically significant difference between interpersonal communication(t=-0.09, p=.931) and human relationship(t=-0.83, p=.409). Communication skills and skills are important nursing areas for nursing students as well as practical nurses, so continuous communication education is required. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a step-by-step program for improving communication skills of nursing students, apply continuous and repetitive education in connection from the lower grades to the upper grades, and follow-up research to verify the effect.
