In this study the emission characteristics of Sq dye undoped and doped specimen investigated. In Sq 14mol% doped specimen, OXD7 and Alq3 layer interpolated. This effect has been observed and mechanism characteristics have been examined. For OXD7 insert, hole flow the cathode intercept, and then hole accumulated. Because of increasing recombination probability of electron and hole highly pure color maintained. Simultaneously brightness characteristics and emission efficiency could improve.

Dress is an expressive art form which involves a human activity; utilizes techniques under sufficient technical control that results in the production of typical forms on the basis of aesthetic standards. This study was conducted to clarify a relationship of Impressionism and it's image in dress-Bustle style. Artists such as Manet, Renoir, Cezanne, Gogh, Gauguin, and Rodin were reviewed. Impressionism was a method of painting that consists in repoducing an impression exactly as it is experienced from contemplation nature. The Impressionists used a technique of separate, fragmented brush strokes and pure prismatic colore, aiming at rendering changing effects of light. Fashion designers such as Charles Worth, Givency, Cardin, Ungaro, and Lacroix were examined. Throughout their fashions, they focused on the naturalism of feminine and seductive image-the touch of Vegetable Venus depicted on the paintings of Manet and Renoir; expressed "unmitigated sexiness" in various forms of Bustle sytle creating a seductive beauty, revealing body contour, breast and legs, and using a fragmented motif and flowers with vivid color.

A rapidly aging Korean population highlights the importance of investigating the actual state and needs of clothing for the elderly to provide basic information for a future senior industry. This paper surveyed clothing purchasing behaviors. The sample of this survey consisted of 210 females aged 55 over who live in Dajeoun and Nonsan. The data were analyzed by using SPSS. The major findings are as follows. First, most elderly women have bought the ready-made clothes in local markets. Second, the major consideration of clothing purchasing behavior was the possibility of outdoor wearing and color. They were satisfied with ready-made clothes because of the convenience to buy, design, and the necessity of the clothing brands for aged people. Third, they preferred pure cotton or mixed cotton even though they possessed the mixed cotton or synthetic fiber in clothing materials. Respondents preferred the feeling, heat-retaining property, and absorptiveness in textiles. The result indicates the demand for various material applications of functional textiles for elderly women.

The purpose of this paper was to analyze the meanings and issues which had been expressed through the domestic fashion magazine from 1998 to 2002. The natural intension issue was caused by rapid development of modern civilization and it kneaded with poison of ecosystem destruction. It was expressed by pure and clean fashion image, simple appearance and natural color. The reconciliation issue between the east and west country, man and woman and science and art which are opposed together of the trade by mixture of fashion was expressed became the paternity. It pursued a tradition and the past, which pursue new things and the specific charters with spouted, and intension is expressed. The issues of over all fashion purses human being's happiness for which fashion design have existed and changed.

The 6 novel super hydrophobic bluish-green dyes, showing the maximum absorption at 600~650nm, were synthesized to dye polyolefin fibers such as polypropylene and high strength polyethylene fibers. Their absorption spectra appeared almost the same at visible range, which meant the length of alkyl substituents did not affect on color appearance of the dyes. The optimum length of alkyl group was determined as hexyl substituents from the practical point of view. From the dyeing results, the optimum dyeing condition was $130^{\circ}C$ for 1 hour. The good fastness ratings to washing, rubbing were obtained showing 4-5 for both fibers. Light fastness was obtained also good rating 4 for both fibers.

Fruiting bodies similar to those of the ascomycete fungi Podostroma cornu-damae and Cordyceps militaris were collected from Mt. Seunghak in Busan, Korea on August 21, 2012. The fruiting bodies were cylindrical, with tapered ends and golden red in color. The fruiting bodies contained abundant conidiophores bearing single-celled conidia, but no perithecia or asci. Pure culture of the fungal isolates was obtained through single-spore isolation. Analyses of morphological characteristics, including conidia shape, and phylogenetic traits, using internal transcribed spacer sequences, showed that these isolates belonged to the species Simplicillium lanosoniveum. Although this fungal species is known to be mycoparasitic, the isolates obtained in this study were unable to infect fungi. However, silkworms (Bombyx mori) inoculated with the fungal isolates died during the larval or pupal stages, as has been shown for the strongly entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana. This study is the first report of the entomopathogenicity of S. lanosoniveum and indicates its potential for use in biological control of insects.

Over the years manufactures have become increasingly aware of the importance of water purity and its effect on the quality of the final product. One of the largest problems that confronts pure water system operators is bacterial recontamination shortly after the water purification equipment. There are several recommended methods of either preventing or recommended methods of either preventing or removing such contamination but most have inherent disadvantages. Drinking water has required new treatment techniques such as ozonation and granular activated carbon(GAC) filtration. Ozone is known to be a powerful oxidant and disinfectant. Therefore it has been found to be necessary for the treatment of taste, odor and color as an oxidant of inorganic and organic compounds.

The purpose of this thesis is to make clear the symbolism expressed by the gorgeous costume elements in the portraits of Elizabeth 1. After English paintings in 16th century and the Portraits of Elizabeth I being investigated in view of its characteristics, the symbolism in the costume of the portraits was studied in analysis. The flowers, the pearls and the sieve denoting a pure virgin predominantly appeared, snake for discretion and wisdom, phoenix for eternal youth and renewal, pelican for motherhood, and eyes and ears for almightiness and sound judgement as an utmost power was found. The color was mainly of black or white and sometimes of these two mixtures. The white means a purity and black, eternity and the mixture of them signifies a virtue of purity. This thesis may help people understand the gorgeous costume of Elizabeth 1. not as an external extravagance, but as an internal emblem or signs delivering its specific significance.

The synthesis of pure and rare-earth doped gallium oxide (${\beta}-Ga_2O_3$) nanoparticles is reported. The synthesized nanoparticles are characterized with XRD, TEM, and PL analyses. Strong blue emission is observed from un-doped gallium oxide nanoparticles, while nanoparticles doped with $Eu^{3+}$ and $Tb^{3+}$ give strong red and green emissions, respectively. When doped with $Eu^{3+}$ and $Tb^{3+}$ together, gallium oxide nanoparticles emit white light. The CIE coordinate of the emitted light was found to be (0.33, 0.33), which is well within the white light region.

This research focuses on functionalism in American fashion designs which have become the center of public attention in recent. First, documentary studies about how functionalism, which originated in Europe in the beginning of the 20th century, has been developed throughout the 20th century were preceded Second, content analysis was done for the articles, including the word ‘unction’,‘utility’ and ‘practical’in the New York Times and American Vogue from January 1990 to January 2001. As a result, functionalism in 1990s has been developed in different ways from the mechanical, organic, and mea analogies of functionalism in the beginning of 20th century. It doesn't belong to an analogy but has the fused characteristics of those three analogies. It can be classified into techno functionalism influenced by new technology, pure functionalism related to minimalism, sports casual functionalism for those who are crazy about the speed and sports and enjoy the freedom and comfort, and symbolic functionalism which stresses Zen style. More casual manners of formal wear are distinct elements in functionalist fashion design in 1990s. It leads to strong expressions of sports casual functionalism, which plays a great role in sportswear industry of American fashion design. The American fashion designers who were mentioned often in the articles were Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Ralph lauren and Tommy Hilfiger. As well as their works have common formative features based on functionalism, each of them shows his/her own strung color. A]1 of these designers make American fashion design, which can be defined as casual wear or sportswear, very popular worldwide based on the developed American functionalism. Functionalism considering practical and conceptional functions will continue in coming century and techno functionalism and sports casual functionalism in future fashion designs wilt be expressed more strongly with new technology and casual trends of life style.
