도자제품의 색체구조의 분석연구 -정량 분석모형을 중심으로- (Analysis study on tonal structure of ceramic's product -Centering quantitative analysis model-)

  • 일반적으로 모든 조형예술에 있어서 어떤 조형예술가든지 그의 작품에서 어떤 요소의 색채에 대해서 보다 높은 확률을 줄기 위해서 색상이나 채도의 대비를 주어서 상대적인 확률의 안배를 주관적으로 설정한 후에 기계적으로 안배한다고 볼 수 있다. 또한 이제까지의 모든 디자인영역에 있어서 조형구조에 대한 분석 역시 그 디자인조형물에 대한 해석자의 감성과 직관, 경험을 바탕으로 한 주관적이고 정성적인 방법에 의해서 행해지고 있다고 볼 수 있는데, 색체구조에 대한 분석 역시 마찬가지였다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연국에서는 형태와 색채지각 그리고 정보일론(information/communication theory)을 기본 배경으로 한 정량적인 정보분석을 위해서 연구 개발된 '색채구조 분석모형'을 모던디자인의 분석제품으로 선정된 차쉬니크의 도자접시와 포스트모던 디자인의 멜처트의 벽화를 선정하고, 적용해서 색채구조에 대한 객관적인 정량분석을 하여서 모던과 포스트모던 다자인에 대한 양식적인 특성을 비교 및 제시하고, 색채구조분석의 또 다른 방법인 정량분석모형을 중심으로 해서 그 분석절차와 방법을 시도했다는데 본 연구의 의의가 있다 하겠다.

테마파크 공간에 따른 에버랜드 캐스트 의상 분석 (The Analysis of Everland Cast Costume in Accordance with Its Space)

  • This article is designed to establish fundamental design criterion for theme park cast costumes in accordance with play type and space. There is an understanding that theme parks act as a play space that is designed to meet diverse playing desires. To analyze cast costumes, the theme park - 'Everland' in South Korea as an example, area was divided into attraction space and non-attraction space. Attraction space is mainly for full-scale play content areas and the non-attraction space is to enforce the attraction space experience. Roger Caillois's play theory states that there are 4 play types; Illinx, Mimicry, $Ag{\hat{o}}n$, and Alea. All 4 play types were shown through attraction and Mimicry at non-attraction. Each cast costume was analyzed in terms of apparel design elements - silhouette, textile, color, detail, and props - related to play type facility and cast role. Criteria for theme park cast costume designs were suggested based on the results. Illinx cast members who fulfill a safety-checking role wear high chroma warm color costumes with the accent on details in bodice cutting lines, collar edges, pockets, buttons and decorative ornaments. A complementary contrast is also used. The guidance cast in Illinx may wear a suit in bright/vivid color. Mimicry guidance cast costumes show meticulous perfection in imitation with the figure in its space. From head to toe, color, textile, and silhouette - every detail and even props should match the character. $Ag{\hat{o}}n$ cast costumes are strictly limited in detail and decorative ornament usage as well as in color, since they are in charge of the management and operation of a competition. Alea cast's role is a self-demonstrator. Alea cast members should be a real tarot card reader. However, a manual should control their costumes. A total of 10 cast roles at a non-attraction space should be designed to show job patterns clearly in accordance with the whole theme at the park.

연안여객선 선원의 작업공간 색채계획에 관한 연구 (A Study of Color Scheme on Coastal Passenger Ship Seafarer's Workspace)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 여객선 작업공간에서 활동하는 선원의 안전 및 정신건강 증진을 위하여 색차계를 사용한 작업공간의 밝기, 색채 값, 색 분포도, 선원의 인터뷰를 통해 문제점 및 개선 방향을 조사하는 것이다. 첫째, 선행 연구, 참고 문헌, 현행 제도 및 규격, 준사고 사례조사를 검토한 뒤 현재 운행 중인 M Ship의 조타실과 기관실을 대상으로 색차계를 사용하여 각 공간의 색상 값을 분석하였다. M Ship의 조타실과 기관 구역에 분포된 밝기와 색채 측정 결과 각 구역의 천장, 벽, 바닥의 밝기는 전체적으로 어두운 편이고 특히 기관 구역은 매우 어두운 편으로 나타났다. 색채에 관하여 각 구역의 천장엔 Green과 Blue가 분포되어 있으며 벽과 바닥엔 Red와 Blue가 분포되어 있었다. 작업공간에 근무하는 선원의 인터뷰 결과 노후한 실내환경과 어두운 작업환경, 미끄럽고 밝은 바닥재, 국내 사용자에게 맞지 않은 계단으로 인한 준사고 경험에 대해 응답하였다. 이에 따라 추후 조명 설치 시 밤과 낮을 구분하여 공간의 밝기 체크, 조명의 위치, 그림자 형성 수준 및 대비 정도, 시설의 반사율, 눈부심, 빛의 색을 고려한 조명 계획, 바닥의 색채계획 및 자재 선정, 국내 사용자에게 적합한 시설 설계에 관해 제안한다.

가상 뷰티 메이크업 애플리케이션의 사용자 경험 연구 (A study on User experience of Virtual Beauty Makeup Applications)

  • 본 연구는 발색이나 제형에 대한 테스트가 중요한 뷰티 산업에서 가상 메이크업 애플리케이션의 사용자 경험을 분석한 연구이다. 최근 AR과 AI를 활용한 뷰티 스마트 스토어와 뷰티 애플리케이션의 사례가 많아지고 있다. 하지만 가상 메이크업은 실제 제품을 테스트하는 것과 차이가 있어서 사용자 측면의 연구를 통한 니즈 도출이 필요하다. AR 활용한 사례와 AI 활용한 사례를 분류하여 사용자 선호도 비교를 위해 감성 인터페이스 모델을 기반으로 6가지 요인의 설문을 통해 분석하여 통계적으로 유의미한 수치를 보이는 항목을 확인하였다. 분석 결과, 사용자는 가상 메이크업 기능을 편하게 느꼈으나 신뢰성 측면에서 보완이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 실제 사용자의 경험에 초점을 두고 두 유형의 비교를 통해 가상 메이크업의 주요 경험 요인과 니즈를 파악하였다는 데 의미를 둔다. 이를 바탕으로 가상 메이크업의 선행 연구로 유용하게 활용되기를 바란다.

스티븐 홀의 뮤지엄 건축에 나타나는 공간체험의 현상적 표현 방법 및 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Phenomenal Expression Methods and the Characteristics of Spatial Experience In the Steven Holl's Museum Architecture)

  • The purpose of this study is to approach to the phenomenological point of view to explore a design method for providing a variety of spatial experience of the viewer according to the functional changes of the modern museum architecture. For that, this study intends to analysis and consider the Steven Holl's Museum applied to the phenomenological perception for architectural design. The method of this study is summarized as follows: 1) Consider the spatial role and function of the Museum Architecture in the phenomenological approach 2) Study on the phenomenological architectural concepts and expressional method of Steven Holl 3) Finally, propose the utilization for the experiential space that is required to implement the contemporary museum architecture. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Steven Holl's phenomenological architectural concept is the basis of the perception and awareness and has connotations of temporality and it is figured out by the approach to the environment, sense and motion. 2) Steven Holl implement the architecture as a place of experience by connecting between the place and the environment through the development of a variety of scenes and situations and planning the phenomenon of multisensory space. 3) The spatial experience appeared in Steven Holl's museum architecture is implemented through the diversity of the scene, the persistence of the situation, the autonomy of light and color, transparency of the haptic and the potential of the material and geometry.

Analysis of Plant Type and Color Preference and Psychological Assessment for Gardening Activities of Firefighters

  • Background and objective: This study investigated plant type and color preference and conducted a psychological assessment for gardening activities of firefighters in a high-risk occupational group. Methods: A survey was conducted on 117 firefighters aged 39.01±9.17 in Sunchang in March 2020 to examine their preferences in plant type and color and conduct a psychological assessment of firefighters on gardening activities. Results: For plant experience and awareness, plant-related event showed the highest score, followed by plant preference tendency and plant growing experience. The level of plant gardening activities was higher among older age and higher job position. As a result of examining the quality of life according to the demographic characteristic with WHOQOL-BREF (World Health Organization Quality of Life Assessment Instrument), it was found that the quality of life was higher among the 20s-30s than 50s, firefighter position than fire lieutenant or higher, those with higher average monthly income, and the singles group than married (p < .05). The administration group showed lower scores than the fire suppression group working in the field, showing statistical significance. Most firefighters showed high preference for herbal plants among the 12 types of flowering plants, in the order of Rosmarinus officinalis>Lavandula spp.>Mentha piperita, Calendula officinalis. Pelargonium spp. was preferred the least out of the flowering plants, Lycopersicon esculentum was preferred the most out of 12 types of vegetable plants, while Angelica acutiloba was preferred the least statistical significance. For the preference of plant colors, yellow was the most preferred color, followed by white, blue, orange, red, and green, showing statistical significance. For the psychological survey responses of emotion words toward 6 plants colors, it was found that 'bright' was the emotion felt most strongly by the white, yellow, and orange groups, 'calm' and 'comfortable' by the green and blue groups, and 'fancy' by the red group. Conclusion: The effect of agro-healing programs can be increased by using mostly yellow plants when creating indoor healing gardens at the workplaces of fire officials in a high-risk occupational group, and using herbal plants and Lycopersicon esculentum in the gardens for agro-healing activities.

소비자 체험조사를 통한 타월 만족도 분석 연구 (Towel Experience and Consumer Satisfaction)

  • This study examined 12 types of towels with differing fabric material, function, quality, printing, pile length, twist, etc. from a towel company which manufactures and distributes products domestically. After 3 months of use by consumers, a consumer satisfaction survey was administered and results analyzed. Four types of towels were assigned to each group and the towels were used every day for 3 months. Participant feelings after using the towel for the first time and after using it for three months were investigated. The questionnaire consisted of 26 questions on a 5-point Licket-type scale. The first 13 questions measured perceptions of absorption, touch, fine fiber loss, contamination, deformation, drying speed, and design. Other questions compared differences between the two towel types in terms of their material, function, quality, printing, pile length, and degree of twisting. Results showed that, with regards to weight, consumers preferred towels between 130~150g and a thickness of around 1.7~1.8mm. The bamboo towel was considered superior to the cotton towel in terms of sense of touch and did not happen linter after washing. The antibacterial towel was considered better than the cotton towel in terms of absorption but in terms of contamination, participants felt the antibacterial towel became dirty more easily than the cotton towel. We thought that it might be influence of the color of towel. Low-quality towels became stiffer and misshapen more easily than higher-quality towels. But the study showed that the consumers did not perceive significant differences in the towels' quality. Printed towels became thinner and their color changed more with washing. The consumers preferred the design of jacquard towels to printed towels. Towels with short piles was happened more linter than the towel with long pile after washing. Non-twisted towel were better than the highly-twisted towel in terms of sense of touch and absorption but the non-twisted towel happened more linter after washing and became dirty more easily.

포장의 시각적 요소가 소비자의 미각 이미지 판단에 미치는 영향 연구 - 캔 맥주 포장의 색채와 패턴을 중심으로 - (Research on the Influence of Packaging Visual Elements on the Consumers' Taste Image Judgment - Take the colors and patterns of canned beer as an Example -)

  • The visual design elements of packaging play an vital role in attracting consumers' attention, forming their sense of pleasure and sensory expectations, as well as having an important impact on the actual product experience. This study aims to explore whether the colors and textures in the packaging design elements of canned beer will affect consumers' senses, judgments and taste perception of canned beer. Participants in Survey I (N=193) evaluated their expectations for beer freshness, softness, bitterness and alcohol content by observing the packaging of canned beer, then recorded whether they could get the expected experience when tasting beer, and evaluated their preference and purchase intention. In the Survey II, 4 kind of colors and 2 types of texture shapes were applied, and all participants were provided with the same beer for multivariate cross contract analysis to evaluate the specific impact of color and texture of packaging design elements on consumers' taste and the interaction between sensory judgment and taste perception.The results showed that both colors and textures had a significant affect on the sensory expectation (pre-tasting score) of canned beer, but their effects on the sensory score after tasting (actual perception)were inobvious. The analysis of the influence of the interaction between color, texture and shape on taste perception shows that when the expected packaging appearance perception is similar to the actual drinking perception (i.e., straight line and B/G or arc line and Y/R), it is more likely to obtain consumers' favor and higher purchase intention evaluation than the inconsistent canned beer packaging (i.e., straight line and Y/R and arc line and B/G). This paper discusses the influence of these results on the packaging design of canned beer and the possibility of improving the brand efficiency by meeting the visual elements of packaging design expected by consumers.

중국 현지인의 한식에 대한 인식과 한식 레스토랑 만족도 및 재방문의도 - 방문 경험과 방문 빈도 차이를 중심으로 - (Chinese Customers' Perception of Korean Foods and Satisfaction and Revisit Intentions to Korean Cuisine Restaurants - A Focus on Visiting Experience and Frequency of Visits -)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate Chinese customers' perceptions of Korean foods and their satisfaction toward Korean cuisine restaurants. The subjects of this study were 202 Chinese individuals who visited Korean cuisine restaurants in Shanghai, China. The subjects viewed Korean foods as favorite foods and perceived them as fresh and seasonal, and mostly composed of cereals and vegetables however they did not view Korean cuisine as good for health. As compared to customers visiting a Korean restaurant for the first time, those who had visited Korean restaurants previously agreed more strongly with the following items: 'Korean food has a beautiful color', 'Korean food is familiar', 'Korean food smells good', 'Korean food is healthy', 'Korean food is nutritious', and 'Korean food is salty and spicy'. In addition, as compared to occasional visitors, frequent visitors of Korean cuisine restaurants more strongly agreed with the followings: 'Korean food has a beautiful color', 'Korean food is expensive', 'Korean food is healthy', 'Korean food is nutritious', 'Korean food is salty and spicy', and 'Korean food includes many fermented foods'. The subjects considered 'appearance of menu', 'variety of menu', 'nutrition of menu', and 'Chinese characters for menu and ingredients' as the most important attributes when choosing Korean cuisine restaurants. The frequent customers of Korean cuisine restaurants considered 'kind service', 'employee knowledge of Korean foods', 'operation hours of restaurant', and 'cleanliness of restaurant' as the most important restaurant attributes. In addition, the frequent customers of Korean cuisine restaurants were more satisfied than the occasional customers with the followings: 'nutritional quality of menu', 'quick service', 'cleanliness of restaurant', 'appearance and signboard of restaurant', and 'image of restaurant'. The implications of the data are discussed.

소비자의 유행색 브랜드 개성 지각과 태도 (Consumer Trend Color Perception of Brand Personality and Attitude)

  • 색상은 콘텐츠의 하나로서 소비자에게 중요한 의미를 지니게 되는데 일반적으로 개인이 보유하고 있는 색상 이미지는 시간을 두고 축적된 경험이나 지식의 산물로 존재한다. 본 연구는 향후 유행할 것으로 예측되는 유행색을 중심으로 색의 이미지가 가지고 있는 개성과 의미를 파악하고 색상에 대한 태도를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구 결과에 의하면 크리스탈 사운드, 크리미 터치, 미스테리우스 빈티지, 오톰 포레스트, 카니발 등 5개의 주요한 유행색들은 비교적 독특한 고유의 개성적 이미지를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 추가적인 형용사 이미지 분석 결과, 크리스탈 사운드는 자수성가한 사업가의 이미지를 가지고 있으며, 크리미 터치는 여고생의 이미지, 미스테리우스 빈티지는 대부의 이미지, 오톰 포레스트는 일반 대중의 이미지, 카니발은 서커스 광대의 이미지를 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이중 크리미 터치는 소비자의 태도에서 가장 높은 선호도를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과들은 개인의 개성과 색상의 개성의 일치성을 고려함으로서 긍정적인 소비자 행동을 유발할 가능성을 보여준다. 또한 본 연구는 패션과 마케팅을 연결한 학제적인 연구로서 가치가 있으며 향후 지속적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 보인다.
