This study was carried out for the purpose of investigating Uzbekistan students's adaptation to Korea college life. Qualitative interviews were conducted in regards to the motivation for college entrance and stresses incurred during college life for 10 Uzbekistan students who were studying at I college located in Incheon. Data from the interviews were analyzed using theme analysis method. Most of the participants in this study got information about Korean colleges through their overseas study exhibitions in their own countries and became Korea college. The results showed that the reasons for college enrollment were (1)preparation for future goals (2)the influence of family. In Uzbekistan, parents play a big role in determining their children's education. Therefore, their decision to study abroad and the role of their parents were significant. The stress they experienced in college life fell into five categories, namely, (1)financial stress (2)stress about studies (3) stress in regards to human relationships (4)stress in regards to their futures and getting a job. In addition, this study discussed how to solve such as problems experienced by Uzbekistan students. And also the role of college and the necessity of providing appropriate support programs were discussed. Finally, the implications of these findings were presented.
By examining the constitutive characteristics of Yon-Ko-Jeon and analyzing the lived meanings and experiencing essence of students, this study details the students' awareness, responses, and strategies with regards to the phenomenon of women's alienation from Yon-Ko-Jeon. Students from the two colleges were divided into two groups- one which was aware of women's alienation from Yon-Ko-Jeon, and another group that was unaware of such a phenomenon. Students without awareness tended to perceive the alienation of women from Yon-Ko-Jeon as a natural phenomenon. On the other hand, the members who had awareness tended to see it as a phenomenon that was either justified, unequal, or in need of change. In the latter group, those who saw women's alienation as a justified phenomenon responded with tolerance and adopted a bystander strategy. Conversely, those who saw it as an unequal phenomenon responded with rejection and instead chose to adopt anti-/alternative Yon-Ko-Jeon strategies. The last group, which perceived women's alienation as a phenomenon in need of change, adopted correcting responses as well as intercollegiate solidarity and cooperation strategies. A generalization of the findings reveals that the students' experiencing essence of the phenomenon extends from critical thinking to awareness, response, and strategy in a step-by-step and sequential process. Through this study, it was found that the students' experiencing essence all follow a continuous thinking pattern, as illustrated in the diagram provided.

This study examined the obstacles of important factors involved in the start-up decision process for prospective entrepreneurs and plans after graduation while attending hair and beauty colleges and analyzed them in a phenomenological way to establish countermeasures. The subjects of the study agreed to collect data from 10 prospective entrepreneur doctors and plans after graduation while attending hair and beauty college located in G, and were in-depth from December 15 to December 30, 2022. The collected data were analyzed using the Colaizzi method. The results of this study were extracted with 13 topics and two subject collections that represent the characteristics of the experience in the preliminary start-up process of the participants. Based on the results of this study, it is meaningful to examine the obstacles of the factors that are importantly involved in the start-up decision process and establish countermeasures accordingly. In conclusion, at a time when the market for start-ups is expanding and government support is increasing, the factors affecting the will of college students, who are potential professional managers in the future, and effective implications for enhancing the university's start-up infrastructure, start-up difficulties, and start-up motivation were obtained. Therefore, it is urgent to develop efficient performance counseling research or program counseling that can promote and support mental and environmental growth through career development required for the difficulties of the decision process of prospective entrepreneur hair college students and the situations they face. It is necessary to develop various measurement tools in consideration of the level of career development and development of a start-up decision-making process model that can fully grasp the status of start-ups of prospective start-ups.
We investigated the intake trends of street foods for middle school, high school and colleges students through the survey study. In addition, the factors affecting the students' consumption of street foods and their perception toward hygiene status of street vendor were studied. The levels of total aerobic bacteria, coliform groups and enterobacteriaceae in Kimbab, eomuk, and eomuk-kukmul were counted using 3M petrifilms. More than ninety seven % of the respondents had experienced street foods. All the respondents ate street foods 1 to 5 times a month. Forty percent of the respondent stated that 'good taste' and 'time-saving convenience' were their reason for eating the street foods. Their favorite foods were ddokbokgi and various fried foods. All the students responded that frying oil, drinking water, and soy sauce as well as the street vendors' attire and their cooking tools in street vendor were unsanitary. Forty percent of the respondents ranked frying oil as the most unsanitary substance. Eighty percent of the respondents responded that an enforcement of hygiene should be imposed on the street foods vendor. There were significant differences (p<0.001) among the student's age in the opinion related to the reasons of eating street foods, hygiene enforcement, existence of street foods and interest of hygiene status of street foods. High correlation (p<0.05) between the frequency of street foods and snack intakes was shown, regardless of student's age. The result shows that those who eat snacks more than once a day tend to eat street foods more frequently. Aerobic plate counts in Kimbab in 5 different vendors exceeded 10$^5$/g and contamination levels of enterobacteriaceae or coliform in Kimbab exceeded more than 10$^3$/g, which did not satisfy the microbiological standards. In conclusion, although the respondents thought that the sanitation of street foods was poor, most of them want the street food vendor to be maintained with better hygiene condition. This indicated that the regulation for safe street foods should be enforced and educational information about the preparation and serving for safe street foods should be provided to street food vendor.

Studying abroad in and of itself should be a unique and transformational learning experience for university students. Too often, "study abroad" is a code word for "faculty vacation" or "easy credit hours". For an international learning experience to be truly transformational it must offer an intense and directed program that maximizes the time the student spends in the accumulation of information that is new or different from what the student has "learned" previously. "Study abroad" may be a misnomer because it is not only about studying in another country or culture, that is, taking courses that usually have an attendance time of a few hours a week, but it is also about living in another country which becomes a 24/7 learning experience. Providing these programs during the Covid-19 pandemic has been a keen opportunity for institutional learning. When this immersion in foreign culture is combined with academic rigor applied to a student's chosen field of study the growth can be exponential. So, what is the relationship between academic and personal growth? The National Association for Study Abroad has found that "students who have studied abroad are better able to work with people from other countries, understand the complexity of global issues, and have greater intercultural learning. One study found that students returned from their study abroad experiences more tolerant and less fearful of other countries, but with a greater sense of nationalism-a phenomenon they called 'enlightened nationalism'." It is often said that "you only really learn to appreciate things that are important to you when they are gone, when you miss them." The international learning environment can provide this opportunity. The restrictions on various societies in the past two years due to the international Covid pandemic have provided existing study abroad programs with a true testing ground for the validity of their programs. At the end of the day, American colleges and universities are not helpless in the face of these developments. A lot depends on how a university positions itself for a future based on the uncertainties of the past. As Winston Churchill was working to form the United Nations after WWII, he famously said, "Never let a good crisis go to waste". In another context, Churchill's insight on human nature can also be applied to the coming semesters and years as studying abroad rebounds. What new strategies will be developed and maintained? Institutional commitment without fear will be necessary to assure that "studying abroad" will continue to develop as a truly unique and transformational learning experience.
The purpose of this study is to find out the causes of turnover, the causes of stay, and the effects of turnover of college graduates with early careers, based on the concept of job embeddedness and their stances. For this study, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 20 college graduates with early careers and the interviews were analyzed with phenomenological analytic research. The result of the study shows that the cause of turnover intention includes fit and link which are components of job embeddedness. More specifically, turnover intention of the interviewee is affected by fit which includes whether their ability and talent are used properly and whether their vision and culture fit well those of their organization, also affected by link which includes the formal or informal mutual relationship with coworkers and superiors. Stay intention, on the other hand, includes fit which contains satisfaction about work and organization, long-term career management. Stay intention also includes sacrifice which are anxiety about uncertain future and satisfaction about being employed. As an aspect of the effect of turnover, the satisfaction and fulfillment about work which are experienced after turnover by the interviewees and the satisfaction about coworkers and the team in which the interviewees are included offset the negative effect of turnover. The result also shows that organization should consider their workers' satisfaction about the first work, their amicable relationship, and turnover cost, to improve working and living standard of colleges graduates with early careers and to prevent them from turnover.

This study investigated the overall perceptions of pre-service school librarian teacher on the current education practicum through semi-structured in-depth interviews and suggested improvements to the educational practicum system. For this purpose, interview data were collected from 28 pre-service school librarian teacher (6 teachers' colleges, 14 taking teaching qualification courses, and 8 graduate school of education) who participated in educational practicum in school libraries, and a research method that combines qualitative analysis techniques with text network analysis was applied. The results of the study showed that pre-service school librarian teacher believe that educational practicum can prepare them for various field experiences and cultivate their ability to cope with situations they will encounter in the future. Through qualitative inquiry, we were able to identify their perceptions of school field practicum as a whole, their perceptions of the school field practicum, and their perceptions of educational service activities. Based on this, to improve the current problems of educational practice, we suggested expanding the period of school internship program, distributing the time, establishing a full-time practice system, having continuous discussions with field teachers, and developing a systematic school field practicum.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of nursing students' experience of verbal violence on major satisfaction, practice satisfaction, and nursing professionalism. Data were collected 237 237 3rd and 4th grade nursing students from two nursing colleges located in G and P cities, and the structured questionnaire was analyzed The results of the study showed that major satisfaction was significantly different according to gender (F=1,50, p<.001), grade (F=-2.38, p<.001), and motivation for choosing nursing (t=6.79, p<.000). appeared to have a difference. The experiences of verbal violence were related to major satisfaction (r=-.298, p<.001), practice satisfaction (r=.-.348, p<.001), and professionalism (r=.-.4071, p<.001). It was found that there was a statistically significant negative (-) correlation. Factors influencing the subject's experience of verbal violence include professionalism (β=.305, p<.001), satisfaction with major (β=259, p<.001), and satisfaction with practice (β=142, p=.003). ), and the explanatory power of these variables was 25.9%. It is necessary to develop a program that can cope with verbal violence of nursing students.
This study was conducted to examine the self-efficacy and rejection sensitivity of nursing college students and their college life adjustment, as well as to identify the impact of self-efficacy and rejection sensitivity on college life adjustment. An online survey via URL was conducted on 154 enrolled students from nursing colleges nationwide. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 23.0 statistical software for descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results of the study showed that the self-efficacy of the subjects was 3.80±0.63 points, rejection sensitivity was 2.67±0.83 points, and college life adjustment was 3.58±0.54 points. The factor influencing the college life adjustment among nursing college students was self-efficacy (β=.42, p<.001), while rejection sensitivity showed a significant negative correlation with adaptation to university life (r=-0.24, p=.003), but it was not a significant influencing factor. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and utilize various teaching methods and programs for psychological and social support to enhance self-efficacy in order to improve the adjustment of nursing college students to college life.

In this study, we investigated the influences of teaching practices upon pre-service secondary teachers' perceptions on the learning cycle by their understanding of it. Surveys on their understanding and perceptions of the learning cycle were administered to 37 seniors at the department of chemistry education in two colleges of education before teaching practices, and the survey for perceptions of the learning cycle was given to them after teaching practices. In addition, we selected seven pre-service teachers with decreased perceptions after teaching practices, and interviewed them thoroughly to investigate the factors influencing the decrease of their perceptions. The results revealed that the degree of pre-service secondary teachers' understanding of the learning cycle was not high, but their perceptions on the advantage/disadvantage of the learning cycle, their willingness to implement it, and the external aids influencing implementation were relatively positive before they practiced teaching. However, their positive perceptions more or less decreased after entering the teaching practice and the degree of decrease for those having a higher understanding of the learning cycle was larger than those having a lower understanding of it. The results of the interviews suggested the factors of pre-service teachers, students, curriculum and outside conditions as the causes of the decrease. Educational implications of these findings are discussed.
