사회경제적 수준별 초기 청소년의 건강 관련 삶의 질에 미치는 영향요인 (Factors Influencing the Health-related Quality of Life by Socioeconomic Level during Early Adolescence)

  • Purpose: This cross-sectional study was carried out to identify factors influencing the health-related quality of life according to socioeconomic level during early adolescence. Methods: Participants were 617 middle school students in $1^{st}$ and $2^{nd}$ grade. All measures were self-administered. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 program and factors affecting the health-related quality of life were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Duncan test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Results: According to the level of Family Affluence Scale (FAS), 19.1% of the participants were in the high class, 66.5% in the middle class, and 14.4% in the low class. We have found statistically significant differences among the high, middle, and low classes regarding the health-related quality of life, health perception, resourcefulness, family function, and social capital. The most influential factors of the health-related quality of life were found to be resourcefulness, family function, and social capital in the high and the middle class. Conclusion: The implication of this study is that it is important for the Education Ministry and middle school teachers to help adolescents develop internal coping resources as well as to develop school-curriculums considering social values and norms related to social capital in order to improving their health-related quality of life.

모유수유에 대한 여대생의 지식 및 태도 (The Knowledge and Attitude on Breast Feeding of Female University Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data in order to develop of some educational programs for increasing breast feeding by studying the female university student's knowledge and attitude on breast feeding, who will become a mother in future. The respondents of this research were selected at random for 462 female students at the university in Seoul and Kyongki area, and it was the period collected the data from Oct 28, 2000 to Nov 8, 2000. The method of study distributed the measuring tools of knowledge with 33 items and the tools of measurement with 20 items on the attitude of breast feeding to the respondents directly, and collected them. The data were analyzed to use SPSS program. Unpaired t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and Multiple regression analysis were used for the calculation of difference between groups and the results were as follows ; 1. The breast feeding was 50.6% in the period of lactation for the respondents and the nuclear families were 81.7% in family constituent unit. In the future the wisher of breast feeding was 91.5%, the medical personnel was a major informer who enjoyed their best confidence, Besides the respond-ents responded that the proper period for education of the breast feeding was in a high school. 2. The level of Knowledge on breast feeding. The respondents's knowledge on breast feeding was average $16.40{\pm}4.59$ points on the basis of 33 points and On the merits and demerits ratio of breast feeding has shown highest but there was low in the field of such a concrete and practical plan as the estimate of breast feeding and the method and mindfulness for breast feeding. The higher grader, the college of the natural science showed significantly the higher points in the knowledge degree by respondents's characters and in such cases the persons of breast feeding or the informed of breast feeding by a medical personnel or the women of strong will for breast feeding action in the future. 3. The Attitude on breast feeding. There was relatively shown a positive attitude of the total average $60.50{\pm}7.59$ points and the average evaluation $3.04{\pm}.36$ points in the attitude on breast feeding. The attitude by each factors has the highest points in the practical action aspect but the lowest in the emotional aspect. The attitude on breast feeding by respondents's characters significantly showed a positive attitude in such cases the persons of breast feeding or the informed of breast feeding or the women of strong will for breast feeding action in the future. 4. Relation to knowledge and attitude on breast feeding. There was shown a correlation of definition in the relation to knowledge and attitude on breast feeding, 5.Factors which have an effect on knowledge and attitude on breast feeding. The factors which have an effect on knowledge of breast feeding were attitudes on breast feeding, graders, the college of natural science and the informed of breast feeding. Also the factors which have an effect on attitude on breast feeding were on will and knowledge on breast feeding, a large family, the informed of breast feeding. In conclusion, it will have to enforce a systematic education on the method of a practical breast feeding enlarged by a medical personnel and professional early enough as the information provision on breast feeding enables one to increase knowledge and attitude on it, besides it has relations with their practical will.

초등학교 3.4학년 학생의 인터넷 중독과 학교생활 적응과의 관계 (Relationship of Internet Addiction and School Adjustment of the 3rd and 4th Grade Elementary Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find out the correlation between internet addiction and school adjustment of 3rd and 4th graders in elementary schools. Methods: The subjects were 689 graders from five schools in five districts, located in G, Korea and the data were collected ficxn April 18 to May 15, 2005. A scale consisting of 25 questions were developed as an instrument for testing internet addiction and a further 25 questions were developed for examining school Adjustment. The data was analyzed by testing frequency, percentage, means, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test and Pearson's Correlation using SPSS/PC 10.0. Results: The results were as follows: The degree of internet addiction tendency were 6.0% of addiction, 24.2% of borderline and 69.8% of non-addiction. There were significant differences in school adjustment in terms of the degree of internet addiction(F=39.88, p< .05) and significant negative correlation between the degree of internet addiction and the school adjustment; the more they used to the internet, the lower school adjustment they have(r=- .376, p< .05). Conclusion: Those graders who started using the internet at an earlier age, were found to have increased levels of internet addiction. therefore, it is necessary to develop a program for the prevention of intemet addiction and a school adjustment education program is recommended for that.

The Influence of Self-Directed Learning and Learning Commitment on Learning Persistence Intention in Online Learning: Mediating Effect of Learning Motivation

  • This is a descriptive investigative study which attempts to confirm the mediating effect of learning motivation in the relationship between self-directed learning, learning commitment, and learning persistence intention of university students in an online learning environment. The questionnaires were randomly distributed online and the agreed questionnaires were retrieved, with a total of 338 copies used for analysis. The following is the summary of the findings. First, there were significant differences in learning persistence intention according to general characteristics depending on age, major, part-time job, and academic level. Second, the results showed a positive correlation between self-directed learning, learning commitment, learning motivation, and learning persistence intentions of the subjects were statistically significant. Third, after checking the mediating effect of learning motivation in relation to self-directed learning, learning commitment and learning motivation, the learning motivation has a partial mediating effect on learning and 23% explanatory power, and the learning commitment was found to have a complete mediating effect on the impact of learning motivation on learning intentions with 21% explanatory power. Based on these results, it is necessary to provide a more diverse educational environment, such as operating a motivation semester program that can improve learning motivations along with learning commitment, and the use of a variety of contents that can focus the learner's interest or attention.

한국여성 건강 및 영양 정보시스템 구축을 위한 PC통신에 의한 정보 서비스 요구분석 (Needs Assessment for Health and Nutrition Information of Korean Women through PC Communication)

  • Although the information related to health and nutrition continues to increase at an ever-increasing rate, systematic database which is necessary for self-management of woman health over the life cycle has been rarely found. The purpose of this study was to offer valuable information on woman health and nutrition through the computer, and, therefore, to enable Korean women to manage their health by themselves according to their life cycle, Prior to constructing the information system, a survey was conducted to verify the use and usefulness of the health information currently available through the PC communication and internet, and to identify the specific topics of the health and nutrition information Korean women need. A self-administered questionnaire was distributed through PC communication. The responses of 1,117 women were analyzed. Most of the subjects(72.8%) were at the age of twenties, and 14.6% at tens, 10.7% at thirties, and only 1.9% were over forties. The educational level of the subjects was high ; 44.8% were college graduates or above, 31.4% were college students. The greatest obstacles to the use of health information appeared to be the lack of expertise of the information on the PC communication and taking too much time to get information on the internet. The extent of the interest of the specific topic was determined by a 5-point scale. Out of the 22 topics of the health and nutrition information given on the questionnaire, stress management was ranked as the top over the whole range of age. The top three topics in which women had interests except stress management varied by age group ; diet for weight control and self-evaluation of the meal at the age of less than twenty-four ; health and nutrition management for preventing cancer and diet for weight control at the age of twenty-five to twenty-nine ; health and nutrition management for infants and children, and for preventing osteoporosis at the age of thirty to thirty-four ; health and nutrition management for preventing osteoporosis, and for preventing cancer at the age of over thirty-five. On the basis of these results an information system necessary to Korean women in order to manage their health by themselves according to the life cycle will be constructed through internet.

중학생의 공격조절행위 측정 도구 개발: Ajzen의 계획된 행위 이론을 기반으로 (Development of the Aggressive Regulation Behavior Scale for Middle School Student: Based on Ajzen's Theory of Planned Behavior)

  • Objectives: This study was to develop a measurement scale that explains aggressive regulation behavior of middle school student, based on Ajzen's Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and verify its validity and reliability. Methods: The basic items were modified by selecting 41 items of middle school student aggressive behavior measurement scale. Through the content validity test, 63 first preliminary question items and 42 second preliminary question items were developed. The participants were 286 middle school students. The collected data were analyzed using content validity, correlation coefficient, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability and Cronbach α. Results: In this study, it was proved that the most important variable showing aggressive regulation behavior was aggressive regulation intention. This study was composed of 4 factors for direct measurement(attitude toward the behavior, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, behavior intention) and 5 factors for indirect measurement(behavioral beliefs, outcome evaluation, normative beliefs, motivation to comply, control beliefs). The total variance was 65.4% and 67.6%, respectively, and the reliability was .90, .82. Finally, 42 questions were developed. Conclusion: We found the questionnaire used in this study was valid and reliable as a measure scale to explain the aggressive regulation behavior of middle school student based on TPB. Therefore, it is concluded that the aggressive regulation behavior scale could be a useful scale for the measurement of the aggressive regulation behavior of middle school student.

청소년의 COVID-19 예방행위에 영향을 미치는 요인 (A Study on the Factors Affecting Practice Associated with COVID-19 among Adolescents)

  • 본 연구는 청소년을 대상으로 COVID-19 지식, 태도, 지각된 위험 및 예방행위의 수준을 파악하고 COVID-19 예방행위에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 수행되었다. 서술적 조사연구이며, 연구 대상은 D 시, K 시 2개 고등학교학생 164명을 대상으로 2020년 10월 26일부터 11월 6일까지 자료수집을 시행하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 21.0 프로그램을 사용하여 t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, multiple regression을 분석하였다. COVID-19 태도(β=0.28, p<.001)가 COVID-19 예방행위에 유의한 영향을 나타내었으며, 설명력은 9%이었다(F=3.849, p<.001). 교우관계 만족도(β=-0.05, p=.493), 경제 상태(β=-0.08, p=.270), 주관적 건강 상태(β=-0.06, p=.438), COVID-19 지식(β=0.04, p=.571), COVID-19 지각된 위험(β=0.05, p=.126)은 COVID-19 예방행위에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 청소년을 위한 COVID-19 예방행위를 높이기 위한 프로그램 개발 시 COVID-19 태도를 증진하려는 방안 마련이 필요하다.

자살생각을 해 본 청소년의 자살계획 관련요인 (Factors related to Suicidal Planning among Adolescents who had Suicidal Ideation)

  • Purpose: Adolescent suicide is an important issue worldwide. Although literature on preventing suicide among adolescents tends to focus on suicidal ideation, suicidal planning is also an important issue as a stage leading to suicidal behavior. This study aims to identify suicidal planning-related factors, including generalized anxiety disorder, among adolescents who had suicidal ideation. Methods: This secondary study used data generated from the 16th(2020) Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey, which included 5,979 students who had suicidal ideation. Factors related to suicidal planning were identified by performing a logistic regression analysis of the participants. All analyses were performed using SPSS 27.0. Results: Among adolescents who had suicidal ideation, 23.8% had suicide plans. The suicidal plans were significantly related to school level (middle, OR=1.38, 95% CI=1.22~1.55), whether they were living with family (no, OR=1.36, 95% CI=1.06~1.75), perceived body image (normal, OR=1.23, 95% CI=1.05~1.44; Obese, OR=1.33, 95% CI=1.14~1.54), depression (yes, OR=1.47, 95% CI=1.25~1.72), tobacco use (yes, OR=1.31, 95% CI=1.12~1.54), alcohol use (yes, OR=1.21, 95% CI=1.06~1.38), drug use (yes, OR=1.96, 95% CI=1.44~2.66), and/or generalized anxiety disorder (severe, OR=1.76, 95% CI=1.44~2.14). Conclusion: The findings of the study suggest that in addition to the commonly recognized factors for adolescent suicide, generalized anxiety disorder should also be considered when establishing strategies to prevent suicide planning in adolescents who had suicidal ideation.

대학신입생의 자살위험성에 영향을 미치는 융합적 요인 (Convergence Factors Affecting Suicide Risk of University Freshmen)

  • 본 연구는 대학신입생의 ADHD, 우울, 불안 및 자살위험성 파악과 자살위험성 관련 융합적 요인들의 상관관계를 알아보고 대학신입생의 자살위험성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 수행된 연구이다. 연구결과 대상자의 자살위험성과 ADHD, 우울 및 불안간의 상관관계는 모두 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 확인되었다. 자살위험성과 ADHD(r=-.411)의 상관관계는 중간정도의 음의 상관관계, 우울(r=-.594) 과 불안(r=-.563)은 각각 높은 음의 상관관계가 확인되었다. 로지스틱 회귀분석 결과, 대학신입생의 자살위험성에 유의한 영향요인은 ADHD, 우울, 불안으로 각 변수들의 abnormal 군에서 ADHD(OR=3.17; 95% CI 1.36-7.38), 우울(OR=10.80; 95% CI 4.32-27.02), 불안(OR=3.39; 95% CI 1.55-7.41)이 영향요인으로 확인되었다. 이처럼 대학신입생의 자살위험군은 ADHD, 우울, 불안과 높은 관련성을 가지고 있으므로, 추후 대학신입생의 개인상담 및 정기적인 심리검사 실시하여 자살 고위험군에게 관리프로그램을 실시함으로써 학생들의 심리적 안정과 학교생활 적응에 도움이 될 것이다.

대학생의 성폭력 인식도가 성폭력 피해경험에 미치는 영향 : 성폭력 허용도의 매개효과 (The impact college students' sexual assault awareness has on the sexual assault experience :Mediating effects of the sexual violence allowance scale)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 성폭력 인식도 및 성폭력 피해경험과의 관계에서 성폭력 허용도의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 제주특별자치도내 위치한 4개 대학교에 재학중인 남녀 대학생 408명이었으며, 성폭력 인식도척도, 성폭력피해경험척도, 성폭력 허용도 척도를 사용하여 설문을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째 상관분석 결과 성폭력 인식도와 성폭력 허용도와는 유의한 부적상관을 나타냈고, 성폭력 인식도와 성폭력 피해경험과 역시 유의한 부적 상관을 나타냈다. 이는 성폭력 인식도가 높을수록 성폭력 허용도와 성폭력 피해는 낮아진다는 것을 시사하고 있다. 둘째 성폭력 인식도와 성폭력 피해경험의 관계에서 성폭력 허용도가 매개 효과가 어떠한지를 알아보기 위해 연구모형과 경쟁모형으로 나누어 실시한 결과 성폭력 인식도는 성폭력 피해경험에 직접 영향을 주지 않았고, 성폭력 허용도를 매개로 영향을 미치고 있어, 완전매개 모형인 연구모형이 선택되었다. 즉, 성폭력 허용도가 성폭력 인식도와 성폭력 피해경험의 관계를 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 성폭력 인식도가 성폭력 피해경험에 직접적으로 영향을 미치기 보다는 성폭력 허용도를 통해 간접적으로 영향을 미친다는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 성폭력 인식도가 잘 정립될수록 성폭력 허용도가 낮아지고, 결국 낮아진 성폭력 허용도 때문에 성폭력 피해가 감소할 수 있게 된다는 것이다. 그러므로 성폭력 인식도를 높일 수 있는 방법으로는 성폭력 예방교육을 체계적으로 실시해야 할 것이다. 성폭력 예방교육은 데이트 관계에 있는 남녀 대학생들이 개인의 성폭력 허용도 수준을 고려하여 그들의 인권적으로 성숙해지고, 정서적으로 적절한 관계를 유지할 수 있도록 이끌어 줌으로써 성폭력 피해를 줄일 수 있을 것이다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 제주특별자치도에 거주하는 대학생을 대상을 실시하여 일반화 시키는데는 한계가 있으므로 후속연구에서는 이를 보완하기 위하여 다양하고 광범위한 대상으로 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.
