Methods: To analyze these issues using logistic regression, we collected data from 230 nursing & medical students of D University in B city by using the self-administered questionnaire from December 12 to December 21, 2004. Knowledge for blood donation was measured by the questionnaire developed by Koo(1982), self efficacy was assessed by General Self Efficacy Scale (Sherer & Maddux, 1982), and altruistic attitude was measured by Altruistic motivation & Responsibility Scale(Jo, 1996). The collected data were analyzed by t-test, Chi -square, and logistic regression by using SPSS/Win 11.0 version. Results: As results of logistic regression analysis, factors which showed significance for predicting blood donation behavior were the perceived health status, family member's experience for the blood donation, religion and gender. Conclusion: It is necessary to improve the perceived health status of college students and to conduct a campaign for blood donation around college students whose family members have had the experience of blood donation in order to increase the rate of blood donation in medical and nursing college students.

The study subjects were 553 nursing students from two universities in K and P cities by self-report questionnaire survey. Data were collected between November 7 and November 25, 2016. The data were analyzed through frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and hierarchical regression using SPSS 21.0 program. As a result, major satisfaction, nursing professionalism, and college life adaptation averaged 3.86(out of 5), 3.97(5), and 3.34(5) respectively. There was a significant positive correlation between major satisfaction and nursing professionalism, college life adaptation on nursing students. In addition, nursing professionalism had moderating(F=8.460, p=.004) and partial mediating (${\beta}=.21$, p<.001) effects between major satisfaction and college life adaptation among nursing students. In conclusion, nursing professionalism is a very important factor in the effects of major satisfaction of nursing students on college life adaptation. • Purpose: This study was performed to identify the effect of admission type on college adaptation and academic achievement in one nursing school in order to refine the entrance selection system. Methods: Subjects were 405 nursing students (female : male = 385 : 20, first grade = 155, second grade = 138, third grade = 112). They were given the Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire (SACQ) purchased from Western Psychological Service. SACQ is composed of 67 questions and subdivided into 4 subcategories: academic adjustment, social adjustment, personal-emotional adjustment, and attachment. Student college adaptation scores and academic achievements were analyzed with reference to the entrance selection system (rolling admission vs. regular admission) by SPSS 22.0. The rolling admission system recruited students based on high school records only while the regular admission system was based on both high school records and the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT). Results: Total College adaptation score, personal-emotional adjustment score, and academic achievement were higher in regular-admission students than in those admitted through rolling admission. Academic achievement for first-grade students was higher in regular-admission students than for those admitted through rolling admission, But the difference in academic achievement became null as students were promoted to the second and third grades. Conclusion: Students recruited using both high school records and the CSAT showed better college adaptation and higher academic achievement.

This study was conducted from July 7 to 9, 2020 and the participants included 126 fourth-year nursing college students. Integrated simulation consisted of virtual simulation, teledebriefing, pre-briefing, in situ simulation, and debriefing. The results showed that after the use of various simulation modules and the training of integrated simulations incorporating virtual and in situ simulation training, critical thinking (t=5.20, p=<0.001), clinical judgment (t=6.71, p=<0.001), and simulation effectiveness (t=3.53, p=0.001). These findings could help establish the direction for more diverse forms of simulation-based education and it should be conducted in future nursing simulation during this COVID-19 pandemic era.
