The major purpose of this study is to examine how the perfectionism of dance majors affect self-efficacy and performance satisfaction. The sampling of this study was done in 2009, by using purposive sampling method with the subjects who are currently the students of an arts high school and dance majors of a college in Daejeon and Chungcheongnam-do. Specifically, by dividing the district in Chungnam and Daejeon, one arts high school and one college were selected from each district, and 75 dance majors from 4 schools respectively, total 300 students were examined for the study. Among these 300 students, the number of students' questionnaires used in the final analysis is 274, excluding the questionnaires containing inadequate answers. The adequacy of the questionnaire was verified by factor analysis, and the reliability of the questionnaire by reliability analysis. In the matter of reliability, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ turned up to be over .602. In this study, factor analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis, and course analysis were done by using SPSS16.0. With the above research method and results, I could come to a conclusion as following. Above all, perfectionism affects the subordinate variable of self-efficacy, the self-control efficacy. That is, with the higher self-oriented perfectionism and the other-oriented perfectionism, self-efficacy increases more as well. Secondly, perfectionism affects performance satisfaction. In other words, the higher self-oriented perfectionism, the higher performance satisfaction. Thirdly, self-efficacy affects performance satisfaction. That is, higher self-control efficacy makes the performance satisfaction higher. Lastly, perfectionism affects self-efficacy and performance satisfaction either directly or indirectly. Now it is obvious that self-efficacy is the variable that intermediate performance satisfaction.
In dance sport, hip movement is the most basic and essential technique, connecting the body movements to make the body move organically, and providing an overall balance of body movements. From that perspective, this study focused on the Cucarachas movement, representing a series of efficient hip movements in the center of gravity. For the purposes of this study, 4 dance sport participants who had won prizes at international contests were selected in order to analyze such variables as the radius of gyration (shift) on the hips and the shift of the center of gravity when scapula depression was performed and when it was not. To examine differences in these kinematic variables, a paired t-test was conducted, resulting in the following findings: First, the dancers were found to be able to control scapula depression, and a significant difference was observed in the vertical axis(Z) between the times when scapula depression was performed and when it was not. Second, when scapula depression was performed, shifts in the left-right axis(X) and anterior-posterior axis(Y) were found; the left-right axis showed a greater difference than the anterior-posterior axis. Third, scapula depression was found to have an influence on the shift to the left-right axis(X) of the center of gravity.
It is essential to improve the quality of life of the elderly in aging society. Regular exercise as nursing intervention is needed to prevent diseases, maintain and promote their health, and thus promote the quality of life for the elderly, especially who generally had poor cognition for their health maintenance and promotion in a low class community. Subjects consisted of 30 women. over 65 years old in a community welfare center, who lived in the low class apartments financially supported by the local government in G city, Gangwon Province, Korea. The program consisted of dancing on music for approximately 50 minutes, 3 times a week for 10 weeks. Experimental data were analyzed with $x^2-test$, t-test, mean values, standard deviation, percentage of change and paired t-test using SAS program. After the recreation dance, the mean value of the experimental group was decreased from 7.62 to 7.44 (t=-0.258, P=0.799), and that of the control group was also decreased from 7.00 to 6.58 (t=-0.971, P=0.349) in depression. However, there were no statistically significant differences in scores of depression between two groups. In life satisfaction, the mean value of the experimental group was increased from 19.07 to 26.50 (t=2.392, P=0.030), but that of the control group was decreased from 15.92 to 13.71 (t=-1.060, P=0.305). Thus it shows that there was a statistically significant improvement on life satisfaction after the recreation dance.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of treadmill exercise on the aerobic function of dance majors in their 20s. The subjects consisted of 10 female Korean dance majors in their 20s as an experimental group and 10 normal female college students as a control group, and both groups conducted treadmill gait training. Their heart rate recovery (HRR), maximal oxygen uptake (MOU), maximal voluntary ventilation (MVV), and lactate recovery rate (LRR) were measured before and after the experiment. The comparison of changes in the subjects' aerobic function before and after the experiment showed that the experimental group gained more significant effects on HRR and LRR than the control group. Therefore, treadmill gait training may help Korean dance majors to improve their basic physical strength by enhancing their aerobic function, and the findings of this study are likely to provide basic data to support scientific exercise prescriptions.

Design: Quasi-experiment design. Methods: Forty-two elderly participated in this study. All subjects were assigned experimental group (n=21), control group (n=21). Data were collected March to September 2019. Subjects in the experimental group performed aerobic exercise based korean traditional dance(three times a week, 30-50 minutes session, 24 sessions). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Chi-square test, Fisher's exact test, independent t-test with the SPSS version 25.0 Results: The experimental group showed significantly increased vascular health (p<0.05), upper extremity strength (p=.022), dynamic balance (p=.026) compared to the control group. Conclusion: These results suggest that aerobic exercise based koran traditional dance is recommend a regular exercise program to enhance on vascular health, muscle strength and balance in the elderly with dementia.
The main objectives of this study were to empirically examine the relationship between the preference of fashion styles of male college students and their individual taste in other areas including music styles and recreation types. Life style and values were also examined for their relationship with the fashion style preferences. Survey questionnaires were distributed to male college students in Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi-do during May and June of 2011, and a total of 256 responses were used in the final analysis. The results showed that there were three segments according to the fashion styles - 'modern-dandy', 'resistance style', 'no-individuality' groups - and there were significant differences between groups in terms of their preferred music styles and choice of recreational activities. Modern-dandy group preferred R&B, dance music and ballad, while resistance style group preferred hiphop, dance and reggae music. No-individuality group did not show any preference for a particular type of music. Both modern-dandy and resistance style groups liked sports, while resistance style group showed the lowest preference for hobby and culture. There were also significant differences in lifestyles and values according to the fashion styles of the three groups.

This study aims to analyze trends in domestic research concerning career guidance for college students majoring in arts, and to provide implications for future research. To this end, a total of 74 papers including journal articles, master's theses, and doctoral dissertations published from 2006-2016 were analyzed in terms of research period, research topic, research methods, study subjects' gender, years in college, and field of study in the arts. Research topics were analyzed according to six criteria, and results showed that there were 24 studies concerning topics related to adaptation/ behaviors/ experiences, including career-related stress, career maturity, anxiety, preparation and development competences, accounting for 32.5% of the total. In terms of gender, 96% of research included both male and female students, and three were conducted only for female students. In terms of year of study, 49 studies examined students in all years of study considered students in all years, accounting for 66% of the sample. Trends in research methods were characterized by the quantitative method applied in the study. Regarding the field of study in the arts, 54 studies were conducted in the field of dance (ballet, Korean dance, and contemporary dance), accounting for 73% of the total. In addition, topics in the field of dance were evenly covered by these studies. Most studies concerning career guidance in art colleges were difficult to categorize due to the small number of studies conducted in the sample. It is suggested that future research reflects various perspectives, social issues, students' majors, year of study, and gender using various research methods.
The Yangbanchum was reconstructed based on mask play that had been handed down in Goseong, Gyeongsangnam-do, Korea. Talnori, called Goseong Ogwangdae, is a Korean folk cultural heritage designated as National Important Intangible Cultural Property No. 57. This mask play provides catharsis to the audience by unraveling the hypocrisy and lies of the aristocrats through satire and humor. Our performance team, the ensemble Better Than Medicine (eBTM) used a large fan (Boochae)to create a performance that blew away anxiety and pain. Watching this performance, the performer and the audience feel the consensus of sharing emotions and send strong bonds and support to each other. This study provides that Yangbanchum dance promotes the mental health by feeling emotional sharing through vicarious satisfaction and mirror effect.
The basic intent of this thesis lies in proposing a meaningful direction of developing cultural content by combining Asian traditional dance forms which hold cultural closeness in common historically. For this study, this paper selected Oyangseon(五羊仙; 'Five Taoist Hermits on Five Sheep'), a Korean court dance of Chinese origin as an example as the Oyangseon story is commonly found in ancient Vietnam and China as well as Korea. Its original narrative is a mythic story that five hermits had come down to ancient Vietnam region riding on five sheep of five colors to bestow 6 ears of milets to people. Later, the story was spread to other regions to be reformed into Woljeongjeon(越井傳; Vietnam), Choi Wee(崔?; China) and Oyangseon(Korea) that have different plot and background. While Woljeongjeon and Choi Wee were adapted into novels that describe the hero Choi Wee's mysterious adventure to be repaid his father's previous devotion to ancient King's shrine. Meanwhile, the epic narrative of Korean Oyangseon proves the modification of the original myth by adding a Seowangmo(西王母; a Chinese mythic heavenly queen) motif while it was enacted as a court dance to praise king's long life and pray country's prosperity following Confucian concept. Based on this historical lineage of Oyangseon story, I searched for the possiblity of constructing a cultural content program by combining the Oyangseon dance of three countries. While there was Oyangseonmu(五羊仙舞) in China which was recently composed by referring to Korean Oyangseon, any traditional dance item based on Oyangseon story was not available in Vietnam. Thus, I tried to propose the Vietnam Dance College to choreograph a new dance item with Woljeongjeon story while using the traditional dance technique, music, costume, etc. of Vietnam as most as possible. As a result, I could display a direction of developing a cultural content by staging three countries' dance items based on Oyangseon story at Korean National Haneul Theater in Oct 2016.
