Traffic volumes are fundamental data widely used in various traffic analysis, such as origin-and-destination establishment, total traveled kilometer distance calculation, congestion evaluation, and so on. The low number of links collecting the traffic-volume data in a large urban highway network has weakened the quality of the analyses in practice. This study proposes a method to estimate the traffic volume data on a highway link where no collection device is available by introducing a spatial statistic technique with (1) the traffic-volume data from TOPIS, and National Transport Information Center in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and (2) the navigation data from private navigation. Two different component models were prepared for the interrupted and the uninterrupted flows respectively, due to their different traffic-flow characteristics: the piecewise constant function and the regression kriging. The comparison of the traffic volumes estimated by the proposed method against the ones counted in the field showed that the level of error includes 6.26% in MAPE and 5,410 in RMSE, and thus the prediction error is 20.3% in MAPE.

Recently, weather information is getting closer to our real life, and it is a very important factor especially in the transportation field. Although the damage caused by the abnormal climate changes around the world has been gradually increased and the correlation between the road risk and the possibility of traffic accidents is very high, the domestic research has been performed at the level of basic research. The Purpose of this study is to develop a risk map for the road hazard forecasting service of weather situation by linking real - time weather information and traffic information based on accident analysis data by weather factors. So, we have developed a collection and analysis about related data, processing, applying prediction models in various weather conditions and a method to provide the road hazard map for national highways and provincial roads on a web map. As a result, the road hazard map proposed in this study can be expected to be useful for road managers and users through online and mobile services in the future. In addition, information that can support safe autonomous driving by continuously archiving and providing a risk map database so as to anticipate and preemptively prepare for the risk due to meteorological factors in the autonomous driving vehicle, which is a key factor of the 4th Industrial Revolution, and this map can be expected to be fully utilized.
Since the Gifted and Talented Education Promotion Law was enacted 15 years ago, in Korea, gifted education in Korea has continued rapid and quantitative growth. The number of gifted classes or institutes for the gifted have increased, as well as the number of gifted education teachers increasing their participation in professional development training and educational activities. However after 2014, gifted education is somewhat shrinking. Due to the controversy of private education and expansion of social welfare in Korea, administrative and financial support for gifted education is being reduced. This study reviewed the gifted education policies promoted by successive governments and analyzed the relationship between politics and support for gifted education efforts by the government. In addition, the phenomenon of the recently shrinking gifted education in Korean society was analyzed in various aspects. These aspects include: decreasing quantitative growth due to the weakening of administrative and financial support from central and local governments on gifted education, regulations on suppressing private education, social inequality to gifted education access, and lack of solidarity in the gifted education scholastic community. Based on this analysis of gifted phenomenon, ways of developing the ideological and practical aspects of future-oriented gifted education were suggested. In the ideological dimension, it was emphasized that gifted education must move away from insularity and the adhesive perspective of Korean society on the concept of giftedness, the concept of intelligence and the recognition of the legitimacy of gifted education. On the other hand, in the practical dimension, the following points were identified: the collection of empirical data on the economic impact of gifted education, gifted education amendment of the statutes, adaptation of the gifted education program with gifted identification, diversification of gifted education service system, and actively promoting new research topics in relation to the Gifted and Talented Education.
The need for an efficient sampling technique to collect aquatic organisms has risen with the increase of interest in rice paddy fields, which have been recognized as important ecosystems supporting biodiversity. In the present study, a submerged funnel trap used with the assistance of attracting agents (fish meal and chemical light) was designed as an easy, objective and quantitative tool for collecting aquatic organisms in the rice paddy fields. The preference for collecting aquatic organisms as a means for attracting agents was analyzed using a generalized linear mixed model. Also, based on the data of previous research, we compared the community composition of the aquatic macroinvertebrates, which were collected using the quadrat method, and newly designed submerged funnel traps, by analyzing non-metric multidimensional scaling. The results showed that the catching efficiency of 18 of the total 65 taxa was affected by the attracting agents. 12 taxa including Pomacea canaliculata, Hippeutis cantori, Austropeplea ollula, Erpobdella lineata, Ostracoda spp. Branchinella kugenumaensis, Hydaticus grammicus, Rhantus pulverosus, Chironomidae spp., Rana nigromaculata, Cobitidae spp. etc., favored fish meal and 6 taxa including Ischnura asiatica, Coenagrionidae spp. Sternolophus rufipes etc., were attracted by chemical light. The submerged funnel trap used as a measurement tool for biodiversity was less applicable than the quadrat method; however, it was more effective for the selective collection of specific taxa. We expect that this newly designed trap can be a simple and quantitative method for collecting aquatic organisms, and could be used for long term and extensive surveys in rice paddy fields in the future.

The purpose of this study is to develop a model of the TOC (Table of Contents)-based research record system and to comparatively analyze its usability, in order to comprehensively and systematically manage and practically use the various research records generated from the entire process of research and development. For this purpose, the templates for technical recording and the components of each item were proposed to enable technical recording based on TOC, and structured contents were designed to organically connect between these TOC technical records and existing research records. Also, a database logical schema was developed to design a database, and a test collection was constructed on the basis of research records and TOC technical records. Finally, the model of research record system was constructed by designing TOC record search system and user interface including integrated search system. Based on this model, the usability assessment was performed by comparing the existing distributed general systems with the TOC-based research record system. As a result of the comparative analysis of these two systems, the TOC-based research record system showed generally higher utilization of research records than the general systems.

In recent years, countries such as USA, United Kingdom and Australia have begun to implement national policies in order to systematically manage and share research data produced through publicly funded research. However, Korea as of yet does not have a coordinated research data policy. The lack of infrastructure that supports the sharing and preserving research data results in the poor management and loss of valuable data produced from significant national R&D investments. The need for research data collection, management and sharing goes beyond the outcome assessment of national research: it facilitates the diffusion of research impact and economic development. There is a growing recognition that data sharing is an essential element of research ethics. This research investigates the relevant research data policies and methods of governance at the national level using a case study analysis. United Kingdom was selected as a case study target as it shows a wide variety of policy examples and instruments. In particular, this research focuses on the UK's national legal framework for research data sharing, analyzes the RCUK (Research Councils UK)'s data policies, activities at the seven research councils under RCUK as well as several supporting institutions. Based on the analyses, this research offers a national roadmap for better managing and sharing of research data in Korea.
Purpose - This study focuses on the continuance intention of O2O fresh agricultural products e-commerce. By literature review, this paper looks through the classical theories which are often applied to study use behavior and continuance intention on the electronic commerce area. Ultimately based on the expectancy theory, Technology acceptance model, success model as well as trust model, a model of the continuance intention of fresh products O2O electronic commerce application is established. Research design, data, and methodology - Among users Chinese consumers have been chosen who have use experience as the research objects. From October 2, 2018 to November 2, 2018, 685 questionnaires in total were collected by the online release and collection. Since the invention of the integrated circuit (IC) in 1950s, semiconductor technology has undergone dramatic development up to these days. A complete semiconductor is manufactured through a diversity of processes. For better semiconductor productivity, fault detection and classification (FDC) has been rigorously studied for finding faults even before the processes are completed. For FDC, various kinds of sensors are attached in many semiconductor manufacturing devices, and sensor values are collected in a periodic manner. The collection of sensor values consists of sequences of real numbers, and hence is regarded as a kind of time-series data. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for detecting and clustering faults in semiconductor processes. The proposed algorithm is a modification of the existing anomaly detection algorithm dealing with symbolically-represented time-series. The contributions of this paper are: (1) showing that a modification of the existing anomaly detection algorithm dealing with general time-series could be used for semiconductor process data and (2) presenting experimental results for improving correctness of fault detection and clustering. As a result of our experiment, the proposed algorithm caused neither false positive nor false negative.
As distributed control systems (DCS) and plant information systems (PIS) are introduced into gas industries, process monitoring systems based on process data have attracted significant interests. However, these technologies have not been fully due to strong nonlinearities of batch processes. The multiway principal component analysis, which has been recently developed, has solved these problems and has been widely used in the industries. However, the lack of statistical background of process operators has been one of major obstacles for maximum utilization of the technology This paper introduces a real time monitoring system for batch gas manufacturing processes that offers a variety of tools that operators can understand and use without serious difficulties. The proposed integrated system covers the whole spectrum of monitoring and diagnosis that include data collection, monitoring and diagnosis. The developed system has been verified to be very effective for monitoring and diagnosis using its application to the construction of monitoring system for a typical industrial batch reactor.
This study aims to discover the clue of the current modern postal system development by looking at the delivery patterns of Korean letters during the Joseon Dynasty. A letter is a text medium that the sender sends to a recipient by sending a message of news. The form and contents of the letter are influenced by the various surrounding factors and are adapted to circumstances. The study aims to clear up the method of delivery and the nature of the transmitter among the environmental factors which affects the format and contents of Korean letters. Depending on the public or private matters, the delivery method is divided into a public agency and a private messenger, or divided into one-phase delivery and the multi-phase delivery depending on whether or not a phase is divided into stages. It is also divided into a one-way and a round-transmission depending on whether or not it is round-switched. The transmitter is divided into a verbal communication, the letter and verbal communication, and the letter communication according to whether or not it is by verbal, and divided into the relational and the non-relational person according to the relationship with the sender. Also depending on whether the transmitter is exclusive or not, it is divided into the exclusive messenger and the messenger who deliver a letter incidentally while come and go. In the aspect of the delivery method, We can see the possibility of developing to a modern mail system through the public method, the multi-phase delivery, one-way delivery and in the aspect of the transmitter, we can see the possibility through the letter delivery, non-related transmitter, and the exclusive messenger.
