This study examined the effect service learning combined with self-directed study had on transferring skills from the university classroom to their practical application in local community centers. The subjects of this study were students who took service learning classes from September 1, 2019 to December 28, 2019. The research question in this paper is 'What is the relationship between service learning-based general classes and self-directed learning?'. That is, how do service learning-based general classes affect sub-elements of self-directed learning? We then tried to determine how the variables of individual learners can affect self-directed learning ability. The results showed that autonomy and problem solving were the greatest at r=.66. Openness and self-assessment (r=.60), autonomy and self-assessment (r=.55) had significant correlation. Learner autonomy had a significant correlation with facilitation and collaboration of service learning (**p<.01). According to this result of the study, it is possible for learners to deepen what they have learned at school and to practice and gain experience through community service. Further, practical problem solving and self-assessment through reflection are possible. Learners were able to inspire responsibility as members of society and increase self-esteem as democratic citizens.

Ground subsidence can result in the formation of sinkholes, potholes, settlement of structures, and road subsidence. Road subsidence is described as the sudden collapse of the road surface into subsurface cavities caused by the loss of bearing capacity in the ground, such as the dissolution of limestone by fluid flow in the surface causing the formation of voids leading to subsidence at the surface. Road subsidence occurs about 665 times annually, and this incidence has been increasing until 2013. Damaged underground facilities, management negligence, and lowering of the ground water table have been the causes of road subsidence in Seoul. Seoul metropolitan government announced special management counter plans to relieve the anxieties and make the roads safe for passing. Construction sites, such as excavation works, need to be managed properly because they have strong potential to induce road subsidence. The aim of this study was to identify the main causes of road subsidence and suggest management plans. First, life cycle cost analysis revealed the daytime construction to be more appropriate than nighttime. In addition, by analyzing the limitations of using sand as a backfill material, it is proposed to use a flowable backfill material instead of sand. Finally, to reduce the blind spots, which is a problem in surveying the road pavement conditions of local governments, the road to be managed is divided into several zones, and a specialized agency is selected for each zone and a method of surveying the blind spots through collaboration is suggested.
This study is an empirical analysis that makes a survey on the evaluation of innovation cluster. For this purpose, we explore a case of innovation cluster, the Pangyo Techno Valley. This survey applies a research frame and evaluation contents that the innovation performance which is the institutional, physical, and social configurations of innovation clusters. In particular, this empirical analysis identifies the configuration factors which are the rational influence factors of individual subjects, in order to foster innovation clusters from the case study of the Pangyo Techno Valley. We can suggest that innovation policy from the results of innovation performance by applied configuration factors for evaluation of innovation cluster in order to enhance and facilitate for innovation cluster. Cavity-type beam position monitors were developed in collaboration with KEK to use for the future accelerators such as international linear collider (ILC) or x-ray free electron laser (XFEL) in PAL. BPM components such as BPM cavity, beam tubes, waveguides and feedthroughs were assembled by brazing at the same time to reduce mechanical errors during the fabrication. There are four screwed pins around outer rim of the cavity for the tuning of cavity frequency and x-y isolation. The resonance frequency of BPM is 6.422 GHz, the inner diameter of cavity is 53.822 mm, and the range of mechanical adjusting is $+ / - 250{\mu}m$. The x-y isolation was measured better than -40 dB after tuned. Test results of signal forms, x-y isolations, sensitivities are satisfied within requirements for the KEK ATF2 beam line.

Mobile Collaboration is an enabling technology that makes users share information between mobile devices and various Mobile P2P platforms have been designed and implemented for it. There are, however, few research papers on application of SIP protocol to spatial data sharing on mobile devices. In this paper, SIP based real time sharing framework is proposed to compose a mobile P2P platform on which spatial data can be trans(erred. A new protocol based on WKT and WKB is defined to send and receive spatial objects with SIP MESSAGE method. Base maps such as digital maps and parcel maps can be provided by a map server that is integrated with SIP server after a new SIP session established and client agents are registered. The framework proposed based onSIP enables users to transfer spatial data such as maps and satellite images directly between mobile devices during VoIP based voice call and therefore, mobile applications can be applied in various domains such asforest management and national defense.
This study aimed to investigate the nursing needs of hospitalized children's mothers and the quality of care in a pediatric unit. A secondary data analysis was conducted using mixed methods design. The qualitative data from 8 mothers of hospitalized children gathered through an in-depth interview were analyzed to investigate nursing needs. The quantitative data from 194 hospitalized children's mothers were analyzed to examine the quality of care in the pediatric unit using IBM SPSS 24.0. The results of qualitative research were categorized into 4 themes: dignity and respect, explanation, participation and collaboration, and nursing practice. The importance of quality of care, performance, and quality index were $8.76{\pm}1.19$ (0~10), $.30{\pm}.19$ (0~1), and $7.52{\pm}1.62$ (0~10), respectively. The quality of care scores differed according to the stage of development of the children (F=2.75, p=.044), and the score of the quality index of nursing skill varied according to the age of the mother (t=-2.08, p=.039). The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of strategies to improve the quality of nursing care for children.
