The role of S/W in weapon systems has been developed with various functions and complex structures. As the weapon system S/W is directly related to quick and accurate decision making of users, more accurate evaluation is required during the training. However, situation awareness of weapon system S/W users has only been assessed qualitatively such as by simple test or qualitative judgement. Therefore, this study suggests the 'Cognition Ratio' concept which represents the quantitative of users by combining ACT-R cognitive architecture to SA (Situation Awareness) and Fitts' Law based on the theory of cognitive engineering. The cognition ratio is a ratio of cognition among the whole cognitive behavior process including perception and psychomotor. Moreover, this study provides a systematic assessment process of situation awareness that will be applicable to various weapon system S/W for effective assessment.
Patients often seek consultation with dentists for their temporomandibular disorders (TMD), especially for pain. Acute pains refer to pains that are of short duration. Common acute TMD are arthralgia and local myalgia. Diagnosis should be made based on careful history taking and clinical examination. Most acute TMD are well controlled by education, cognitive awareness training, and conservative treatment. The aggressive and irreversible treatments should not be applied. Acute TMD should be controlled in the early phase so as not to be proceed to chronic pain.
While depression is certainly a prevalent disorder, it is often severe and debilitating and does not always have the good prognosis we have been led to expect. Social approaches to affective disorders have not been subjected to the same level of scrutiny as the interventions used in the management of schizophrenia. Psychosocial Rehabilitation is now at a critical stage. Psychoeducation, social skill training, cognitive remediation, family education, vocational rehabilitation and case management programs are essential for the rehabilitation of chronic depression.

Alongside the rapid development of AI technology, which is stepping in to do tasks more quickly and less prone to error than humans can, the possibility for MI (multiple intelligence) development warrants equal attention and fervor. Recent theories of human intelligence point beyond standard cognitive capacity, IQ, and shine a light on the other unique potentials naturally endowed to humans. The applicability of MI to aviation is discussed, suggesting that it is important to consider ways to integrate MI development techniques into pilot education and training. Experiential starting points are discussed.

Perception refers to the process of acquiring all the information about the environment through various sensory organs such as the visual, auditory, tactile, and olfactory senses and integrating and interpreting the information transmitted to the brain. The ability to use these perceptions efficiently is called perceptual skill, and perceptual skill is an important factor for improving performance in the field of sports. As a result, many researchers have developed various perceptual training programs to maximize these perceptual skills while they have also progressed on attempting to verify their effects. The perceptual skill training introduced in this study is a training method that focuses on visual perception and is a training method that is applied in the United States and Europe. to improve sports performance. As a result of carrying out the perceptual skills training based on the kicker's important clue (the kicker's hip - the angle of the body and foot before kicking) to the goalkeeper in the situation of a soccer penalty kick improved the ability of predicting the direction of the ball while even in tennis, carrying out the perceptual skills training based on the server's important clue (position, ball, racket) improved the accuracy of the ability to predict in the direction of serve. Recently, there have been numerous research studies that were carried out on such perceptual skills training, but the number of studies conducted are insufficient, especially in Korea where research studies on perceptual training seem to be in a relatively neglected state. In addition, extensive studies need to be carried out to investigate whether the improvement of perceptual skills in the laboratory situation can be transitioned to an actual performance situation. Therefore, in order to elevate sports performance, researchers need to examine the perceptual training program's extent of necessity as well as the research direction regarding its effects.
The purpose of this study was to develop teacher-training for improvement of teaching efficacy of technology teacher. The study was carried out through Delphi research method. It was executed for investigating the professional and wide-range opinions of expert panel to examine the validity. The validity was confirmed by concurrence ratio, convergence ratio, contents validity ratio (CVR). Major results of this study were as follows: First, necessity, nature, purpose of teacher-training for improvement of teaching efficacy of technology teacher was set up. And this teacher-training have 12 objectives in 3 domains (cognitive, affective, psychomotor). Second, contents of this teacher-training were designed to be applicable for 10 modules (300 hours). For example, module1 (introduction of technology education), module2 (construction technology), module3 (information communication technology), etc. Third, educational method, training educator, evaluation method of this teacher-training were developed. Fourth, each module of this teacher-training is 30 hours in length. And summer or winter vacation is appropriate for this teacher-training time. Appropriate teacher-training time is six hours a day. Fifth, roles of educational institution for this teacher-training were suggested. Sixth, strategies to vitalize this teacher-training were suggested.

Excessive motion of the ship in rough sea would affect body's fatigue, cognitive ability, motion sickness, and the proficiency of activity. Among them symptoms of motion sickness are similar to fatigue and nausea. Motion sickness causes sudden degradations of ability to perform tasks in physical and psychological aspects, and causes delays or failure in mental activity, and also takes a significant amount of time recovering. In this study, questionnaire for MSI(Motion Sickness Incidence) survey was taken for the students aboard the training ship of Kaya to the open sea far from land. Motion sickness analysis was performed as comparing the results of questionnaire based on sea state, incident angle, economical speed, and location in the ship.
Over the past decade, researchers were able to solve complex medical problems as well as acquire deeper understanding of entire issue due to the availability of machine learning techniques, particularly predictive algorithms and automatic recognition of patterns in medical imaging. In this study, a technique called transfer learning has been utilized to classify Magnetic Resonance (MR) images by a pre-trained Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Rather than training an entire model from scratch, transfer learning approach uses the CNN model by fine-tuning them, to classify MR images into Alzheimer's disease (AD), mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and normal control (NC). The performance of this method has been evaluated over Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging (ADNI) dataset by changing the learning rate of the model. Moreover, in this study, in order to demonstrate the transfer learning approach we utilize different pre-trained deep learning models such as GoogLeNet, VGG-16, AlexNet and ResNet-18, and compare their efficiency to classify AD. The overall classification accuracy resulted by GoogLeNet for training and testing was 99.84% and 98.25% respectively, which was exceptionally more than other models training and testing accuracies.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a program for anger management based on self-efficacy. Methods: In this study, four types of approaches to enhance anger control were developed; 1) a role play for vicarious experiences; 2) an assertive training for anger expression; 3) a 30-minute long education program & a 20-minute long telephone call coaching for verbal persuasion; and 4) a booklet for anger management and self care behaviors. One group pretest-posttest design was used for evaluating the program. Study subjects were 6 cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. The group were received a 4-week intervention, 60 ~ 90 minutes a day weekly, and measured the variables at baseline, 4 weeks later. Anger-in, anger-out, and anger-control were measured by STAXI-K. Data was analysed by Wilcoxon using SPSS/WIN 12.0 program. Anger situation was analysed according to primary anger-thoughts and secondary anger-thoughts based on cognitive theories of anger. Results: The program for anger management consisted of a role play, assertive training, education, telephone call coaching and a booklet. The program revealed significantly less Anger-in (Z = -1.997, p = .046), anger-out (Z = -2.207, p = .027). No difference, however, was found in anger control (Z= -1.826, p=.068). Conclusion: This evaluation suggested that more assertive training and longer intervention may be needed to maximize anger control.
