  • 최근 전자상거래에 대한 관심과 투자가 집중되면서 효과적인 사용자 인터페이스인 대화형 에이전트에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 기존의 대화형 에이전트는 사용자의 질의에 미리 준비된 답변을 제공하기 때문에 복잡한 대화 상황을 처리하지 못한다. 이런 한계를 극복하기 위해 베이지안 네트워크 등의 기법을 이용한 사용자 의도 추론 기술이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 정보검색을 위한 대화형 에이전트에서 사용자 의도 추론의 성능을 높이기 위해 노드간의 의미 관계를 표현하는 정보를 결합한 시맨틱 베이지안 네트워크(Semantic Bayesian Network; SeBN) 모델을 제안한다. 단발적인 질의 분석이 아닌 점증적 질의 분석 방법을 바탕으로 불충분한 정보로 적절한 답변을 추론하지 못할 경우에MII(mixed-initiative interaction)를 수행하여 주어진 문제를 해결한다. 실제 모바일 검색 사이트에 제안하는 방법을 적용하여 유용성을 확인하였다.

An Analysis on the Relationship between Cognitive Levels and Science Inquiry Skills in High School Students (고등학생의인지수준과 과학탐구 능력과의 관계 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify concretely how to improve inquiry learning. To put the purpose in detail : 1) to define the inquiry skills 2) to select the factors of inquiry skills appropriate to the content of Science I (earth science) textbook 3) to develop items which consist of experimental inquiry and concept inquiry in due proportion, to evalute inquiry skills 4) to analyze the relationship between high school students' cognitive levels and the achievement of science inquiry skills. To achieve these objectives, the investigator sampled 558 students in eleventh grade, living in Seoul, Chung-Ju and Kwang-Ju, and evaluated their cognitive levels and the achievement of science inquiry skills. The results of this study showed that the cognitive levels of students were lower than those identified in Piaget's work and that the achievement of science inquiry skills were low also. It may be thought that one of most important reasons to bring about those results is lacking in adaptation capability of science inquiry items and inquiry learning. So, it can be recommended as a way to heighten cognitive levels to make inquiry learning using the textbook content. In conclusion, the investigator make suggestions as follows : 1) to give inquiry learning which consist of experimental inquiry and concept inquiry in due proportion 2) to develop inquiry items to include content for evaluating inquiry learning, and test items for psycho-motor areas 3) to publish textbooks which motivate students' inquiry activities and develop their creative thinking, considering students' cognitive levels and inquiry skills.

Characteristics of Explanatory Hypothesis Formation by Anxiety Types in High School Students Cognitive Conflict about Action-Reaction Task (I) (작용 반작용 과제에서 고등학생의 인지갈등 불안유형에 따른 설명가설 형성의 특성(I))

  • Based on conceptual change theory, cognitive conflict is known as an important factor for conceptual change even though there are still questions about its positive and negative effects on science learning. However there are little research which propose types of meaningful(constructive) cognitive conflict in learning science. The purpose of this study is to find out how are the anxiety types of cognitive conflict to which high school students respond in the action-reaction task, and to reveal what's the characteristic of the explanatory hypothesis according to the anxiety types. The result of this study indicated that first, the characteristics of the anxiety types of the cognitive conflict were classified as eight types. Especially the students who belong to the types of conviction of logical misconception and reasonable modification suggested explanatory hypothesis close to physical nature. On the other hand, the students who showed other types of anxiety except the two types of anxiety suggested temporary supported hypothesis or simple explanatory hypothesis based on students' observation and intuition. Finally we discussed the importance and the implication of the types of anxiety in applying the cognitive conflict strategy to science instruction.

Relationship between Exercising Activity, Muscle Mass, Muscular Strength and Cognitive Function in the Elderly (노인의 운동참여, 근육량, 근력 및 인지기능과의 관련성)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among Exercising Activity, muscle mass, Muscular strength and cognitive function of 274 elderly people aged 65 years and older living in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do As for the data collection methods, were measured the Exercising Activity, muscle mass and muscular strength and the Korean version of Mini Mental State Examination(MMSE-K) and digit span test were measured. The results are as follows First, there was a statistically significant correlation between Exercising activity, muscle mass, muscular strength, and cognitive function of the elderly. Second, Exercising activity of the elderly showed a positive (+) influence on muscle mass, muscular strength, and cognitive function. Third, the muscle mass of the elderly showed a statistically significant (+) influence on muscular strength and cognitive function. Fourth, the strength of the elderly showed a positive (+) influence on cognitive function.

Development and Evaluation of a Community based Multifaceted Cognitive Training Program for the Elderly with Mild Cognitive Impairment (경도인지장애 노인을 위한 지역사회 기반 다면적 인지훈련 프로그램 개발 및 효과평가)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop and evaluate the effects of a multifaceted cognitive training program on cognitive function, depression, and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) in community dwelling elders with mild cognitive impairment. Methods: A non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used. The subjects were recruited from a community health center in D metropolitan city and were assigned to the experimental or control group. Weekly 50-minute session intervention was delivered to the experimental group over 12 weeks. 8 weeks and 12weeks after intervention, the changes in cognitive function, depression, and IADL in the groups were measured and compared. Data were analyzed with Mann-Whitney U test, Wilcoxon Signed Rank test, and post-hoc test with Bonferroni correction using SPSS/WIN 23.0. Results: When compared with their counterparts (n=15), the elders in the experimental group (n=12) showed significant improvement in cognitive function and depression at week 12. The mean scores of IADL at week 12 were not significantly different between the groups. Conclusion: The results indicate that this multifaceted cognitive training program is effective in improving cognitive function, depression, and avoiding deterioration of IADL among elders with mild cognitive impairment.

Identification of Critical Factors Affecting on the Text Messaging Performance of Mobile Devices (문자입력 작업의 수행도에 영향을 미치는 모바일 기기의 핵심 설계요인 분석)

  • 문자메시지를 작성하는 작업 특성과 사용자의 특성간의 상호작용의 결과로, 휴대전화 사용자 집단간 통화량과 문자메시지 사용량은 다르게 나타난다. 본 연구에서는 문장 입력시간을 기준으로 청년층과 중장년층 집단 간의 운지 속도를 비교하여 노화로 인한 운지 속도의 차이를 고려한 지적활동의 시간 차이를 알아보고자 하였다. 그리고 한글 문자 입력 과제의 수행을 반복하여 청년층과 중장년층의 입력 속도 변화를 비교하였다. 즉, 사용자가 충분한 연습을 거치면 연령층에 관계없이 문장 입력 시간이 비슷해질 수 있는지를 실험을 통해 확인하였다. 휴대전화의 문자 입력 시스템에 익숙하지 않은 청년층과 중장년층 각각 8명을 선발하였으며, 50ms단위로 입력시간을 측정하였다. 실험결과, 두 집단의 연습 이후의 성취한 문장입력 수행도는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다 (P=0.039). 이러한 결과는 노화로 인한 인지적 기능의 저하가 문자 입력의 속도를 저해하는 주요 요인임을 보여준다.

LGG-based Phrase-Pattern Dictionaries of Non-Standard Tokens that contain Bound Nouns in Social Media Texts (SNS 텍스트의 비정규토큰 분석 성능 향상을 위한 의존명사 내포 어형의 LGG 기반 패턴문법 사전)

  • 본 연구는 SNS 텍스트에서 형태소 분석기로 분석되지 않는 비정규토큰 유형 중 고빈도로 나타나는 의존명사 내포 어형의 형태소를 인식할 수 있는 LGG 기반 패턴문법 사전 구축과 그 성능을 평가하는 것을 목표로 한다. SNS 텍스트에서는 기존의 정형화된 텍스트와 달리, 띄어쓰기 오류로 인한 미분석어가 매우 높은 빈도로 나타나는데, 특히 의존명사를 포함한 유형이 20% 이상을 차지하며 가장 빈번한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구에서는 의존명사를 내포한 비정규토큰의 띄어쓰기 오류 문제를 효과적으로 처리하기 위해, 부분 문법 그래프(Local Grammar Graph: LGG) 프레임에 기반한 패턴문법 사전을 구축하였다. 이를 SNS 코퍼스에 적용하여 성능을 평가한 결과, 정확률 91.28%, 재현율 89%, 조화 평균 90.13%의 성능을 통해 본 연구의 접근 방법론의 유용성과 구축 자원의 실효성을 입증하였다.

Translocator protein (TSPO): the new story of the old protein in neuroinflammation

  • Translocator protein (TSPO), also known as peripheral benzodiazepine receptor, is a transmembrane protein located on the outer mitochondria membrane (OMM) and mainly expressed in glial cells in the brain. Because of the close correlation of its expression level with neuropathology and therapeutic efficacies of several TSPO binding ligands under many neurological conditions, TSPO has been regarded as both biomarker and therapeutic target, and the biological functions of TSPO have been a major research focus. However, recent genetic studies with animal and cellular models revealed unexpected results contrary to the anticipated biological importance of TSPO and cast doubt on the action modes of the TSPO-binding drugs. In this review, we summarize recent controversial findings on the discrepancy between pharmacological and genetic studies of TSPO and suggest some future direction to understand this old and mysterious protein.

Changes in the Level of Performance of Activities of Daily Living and Depression of the Elderly with Mild Cognitive Impairment through the Participation in the Cognitive Program (인지프로그램 참여에 따른 경도인지장애 노인들의 일상생활활동 수행과 우울 수준의 변화)

  • This study was a pre and post quasi-experimental design study using a single group about the analysis of the changes in the performance level of activities of daily living and depression of the elderly with mild cognitive impairment through the participation in the cognitive program. Study subjects were the 16 elderly with mild cognitive impairment using a W welfare center in J city and they participated in cognitive program for a total of 8 weeks, twice a week. The assessment about the performance level of activities of daily living and depression were performed through the program. As the results, after participating in the program, study subjects' performance level of activities of daily living were significantly significant improved, and depression levels were statistically significantly reduced. Thus, to improve the performance level of activities of daily living and reduce the depression levels of the elderly with mild cognitive impairment, the cognitive program should be used as a intervention program and then in the process, it is necessary to actively induce the participation of the elderly with mild cognitive impairment.

Effect of group integrated intervention program combined animal-assisted therapy and integrated elderly play therapy on live alone elderly

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of a group integrated intervention program that simultaneously conducts cognitive activities, physical activities, emotional activities and social interactions by integrating animal-assisted therapy (AAT) and integrated elderly play therapy based on the cognitive functions and depression of the elderly who live alone. This study follows a pre-test post-test design with a nonequivalent control group, to verify the effectiveness of a group integrated intervention. It applies a group integrated intervention program to 20 elderly people who live alone, aged 65 and above (10 in the experimental group, 10 in the control group), once a week for 90 minutes across eight weeks. The study went through MMSE-K, TMT-A and GDSSF-A to assess cognitive functions and the level of depression. The group integrated intervention increased the cognitive functions of the experimental group and decreased levels of depression. Therefore, this study verified that a group integrated intervention program of AAT and integrated play therapy of the elderly, is an effective for increasing cognitive functions and decreasing depression levels of the elderly who live alone. Based on these findings, the study suggests that there is a need to continuously expand group integrated intervention programs and provide relevant political support.
