This cross-sectional study is to measure the distribution of self-reported health by income, house type, level of education, income satisfaction and self reported social class in an effort to compare the level of health inequality in Korea. The data used in the research are the Social Statistics Survey undertaken in 1999. The correlation coefficient was used to measure the association between inequalities in health and inequalities in socioeconomic status. The correlation coefficient was the most significant between self-reported health and the level of education and income satisfaction. As for the health-related behavior, hypertension, smoking, overweight and drinking were shown to be highly correlated with self-reported health.

In this work, we introduce a new subclass of analytic functions of complex order involving the (p, q)-derivative operator defined in the open unit disc. For this class, several Fekete-Szegö type coefficient inequalities are derived. We obtain the results of Srivastava et al. [22] as consequences of the main theorem in this study.

The main object of this paper is to introduce and investigate new subclasses of normalized analytic functions in the open unit disc $\mathbb{U}$, which generalize the familiar class of k-starlike functions. The various properties and characteristics for functions belonging to these classes derived here include (for example) coefficient inequalities, distortion theorems involving fractional calculus, extreme points, integral operators and integral means inequalities.

Using the recently developed ABS algorithm for solving linear Diophantine equations we introduce an algorithm for solving a system of m linear integer inequalities in n variables, m $\leq$ n, with full rank coefficient matrix. We apply this result to solve linear integer programming problems with m $\leq$ n inequalities.

In this paper, we define new classes of analytic functions using a general derivative operator which is a unification of the S$\breve{a}$l$\breve{a}$gean derivative operator, the Owa-Srivastava fractional calculus operator and the Al-Oboudi operator, and discuss some coefficient inequalities for functions belong to this classes.

A effective teaching method on correlation coefficient for elementary level statistics course is discussed in this article. The well known inequalities, such as Theorem 368 of Hardy et al. (1952), are used for the interpretation of concept of covariance. An Excel example is provided for the illustration of concept of correlation coefficient.

Most of countries are trying to increase the supply of renewable energy as the substitute of the fossil energy for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. However, renewable energy sources account for only about 3.86% of the total Korea primary energy supply. To increase the rate of renewable energy in Korea's energy consumption, various policies for expanding the use of renewable energy should be applied. Also these policies should be consider renewable energy resources distribution and regional inequality. In this study, the potentials of photovoltaic, wind power and bioenergy from rice straw, livestock waste and food waste are calculated and the distribution characteristic and regional inequalities are analyzed using Gini's coefficient and Gini decomposition method. As the results, technical potentials of photovoltaic and wind power of city region(Gu) has more potential rate than theoretical potentials. Livestock waste has the most unequal distribution (Gini's coefficient: 0.617) among renewable resources.

In this paper, we introduce new classes of post-quantum or (p, q)-starlike and convex functions with respect to symmetric points associated with a cardiod-shaped domain. We obtain (p, q)-Fekete-Szegö inequalities for functions in these classes. We also obtain estimates of initial (p, q)-logarithmic coefficients. In addition, we get q-Bieberbachde-Branges type inequalities for the special case of our classes when p = 1. Moreover, we also discuss some special cases of the obtained results.

The purpose of this paper is to study harmonic univalent mappings defined in ${\Delta}=\{z:{\mid}z{\mid}>1\}$ that map ${\infty}$ to ${\infty}$. Some coefficient estimates are obtained in a normalized class of mappings.
