This paper provides an overview of the unreinforced masonry in Australian Standard, especially places the focus on a seismic code. Australia, like Korea, is a country of lower seismicity, and strengthens the code of unreinforced masonry since Newcastle earthquake of magnitude 5.6 in 1989. It is useful in establishing Korean code for unreinforced masonry to compare Australian Standard to Korean.

In this paper, we propose a system that can be used to provide the national standard time for the general public with ease by using the self-implemented independent time-code generator for transmitting standard time information through both the wired and the wireless networks. The newly proposed time code is different from conventional methods in the point that it has a structural advantage of having an ability of obtaining reliable data by repeatedly transmitting the same information. We observe that it is sufficiently possible to transmit the time information with a microsecond level because measurement result shows that the system uncertainty is about few nanosecond of time-error fluctuation through the self characteristic measurement of total system including the time-code generator and decoder system receiving time-information.

In general, the function of intake structure, whether it be a open channel, a fully wetted tunnel, a sump or a tank, is to supply an evenly distributed flow to a pump station. An even distribution of flow, characterized by strong local flow, can result in formation of surface or submerged vortices, and with certain low values of submergence, may introduce air into pump, causing a reduction of capacity and efficiency, an increase in vibration and additional noise. Unfortunately in order to design the sump station, the reasonable code or the standards weren't presented yet in Korea. Thus, some researchers had often referred the HI code, JSME code or CEN code to design the sump station. This study aims to prescribe the standard of sump design which were matched well the Korean pump station. Thus, the HI code and TSJ code would be interpreted fully to Korean language, the part of interpreted clauses of the western codes would be selected to compose the standard.

This study analyzed the effects of building and greenhouse structural code on the structural design and the greenhouse construction cost. The over-design possibility of greenhouse was analyzed when building structural code was applied using standard smart greenhouse drawings. The possibility of decrease in greenhouse construction cost was investigated if the currently applied building structural code was replaced with greenhouse structural code. As a result of comparing the member sizes with the standard drawings, building structural code was designed with 13%~74% more steel than greenhouse structural code. When building construction estimate was replaced with greenhouse construction estimate, it was possible to reduce the total construction cost of the glass greenhouse by 17% and that of the vinyl greenhouse by 14%. Since there is no standard construction estimate suitable for greenhouses, the wage unit price is set excessively, and the construction cost of the smart greenhouse is increasing. In conclusion, it is necessary to establish greenhouse structural code and greenhouse construction estimate to lower the greenhouse construction cost.

96년판 NSPC(National standard plumbing code)의 내용 중 급수 및 배수 관경을 결정하는데 사용하는 기구 급배수부하 단위표가 이전에 발행된 것과 내용이 많이 수정되어 소개코져 한다. 주된 변경 내용은 절수형 위생기구 사용에 따른 급배수 부하 단위 변경, 건물용도별 상세한 내용 분류 및 새로운 위생기구의 추가 등이다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the way of automatic building code checking for architectural drawings in the web environment to enhance the utility of CALS/EC standard drawings and efficiency of construction industry business. To fulfil this aim, the authors seek to standardize the architectural drawing automatic checking system by linked drawing information to the STEP based CALS/EC standard format. Therefore, the automatic building code checking system can represent a way of utilizing the relationship between the construction CALS/EC standard drawings and the related study as well as improve the efficient of the construction work by sharing a variety of drawing information.

There are two basic concepts in industrial radiographic examination; one is a radio-graphic sensitivity, and the other is a acceptance criteria. The comparison of these main points are studied for KS Standard and ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. From the results of the experiment, higher radiographic sensitivity is required in KS Standard when the thickness of material to be examined is less than 20mm in single wall technique. The acceptance criteria for linear type indications are described on same concept in two standards, whereas the acceptance criteria for rounded indications of KS Standard which mainly depends upon the object thickness are more severe than those of ASME BPV Code.

국내에서는 한국저작권위원회 주관으로 디지털콘텐츠 식별을 위한 국가디지털콘텐츠식별 체계인 UCI(Universal Content Identifier)와 통합저작권관리를 위한 ICN(Integrated Copyright Number) 식별체계를 운영하고 있다. 그러나 UCI나 ICN은 국제표준 식별체계인 ISRC (International Standard Recording Code)나 ISWC(International Standard Works Code), ISAN (International Standard Audiovisual Number) 등과 같은 국제적인 표준 식별체계와의 연계가 되어있지 않다. 따라서 국내 콘텐츠의 해외시장 진출을 위해서는 해당되는 국제표준의 식별체계 와 연계를 위한 추가의 별도 작업이 요구되고 있으며, 외국에서 판매되는 콘텐츠에 대한 정산을 포함한 통계자료는 국내시스템으로는 통합관리가 불가능하다. 본 논문에서는 UCI/ICN과 국제 표준의 식별체계와의 연계를 위해 국내/외 식별체계 동향을 조사하고, 조사한 국제표준 식별체계 들의 메타데이터와 표준을 분석하여 UCI/ICN과의 연계 방안을 제시한다. 또한 시험 모형을 개발 해봄으로써, UCI/ICN과 국제표준 식별체계와의 연계방법에 관한 연구 방향을 제시하였다.

컴퓨터 시스템에서 한글 디스플레이를 위해 자주 사용되는 방법에는 각 한글 자음 및 모음을 5-비트 코드로 정의하고 이들을 조합하여 생성된 각 음절을 2 바이트로 표현하는 표준 조합형 코드와, 일반적으로 한글 표현에 사용되는 한글 음절들 각각에 2 바이트 코드를 부여하여 사용하는 표준 완성형코드, 그리고 전 세계 대부분의 언어 시스템들의 각 음절에 고유한 코드를 부여하여 컴퓨터가 이들을 통합된 방식으로 표현하고 조작할 수 있도록 한 유니코드가 있다. 임베디드 시스템은 개인용 컴퓨터(PC) 시스템에 비해 낮은 처리 성능과 제한된 저장 공간을 가지는 것이 일반적이다. 그러나 그 용도에 따라 PC에 필적하는 성능을 가지는 경우도 있다. 그러므로 임베디드 시스템은, 한글 디스플레이를 적용할 필요가 있을 경우, 자신의 자원 환경에 적합한 디스플레이 방식을 채택해야 한다. 본 논문은 3.5" TFT LCD 키트인 LP35가 부착된 LN2440SBC 임베디드 보드의 TFT LCD 초기화와 픽셀 디스플레이 함수를 소개한다. 또한 픽셀 디스플레이 함수와 비트맵 폰트를 사용하여 앞서 말한 세 가지 한글 디스플레이 방식에 대한 처리 속도와 필요 메모리 용량을 비교한다. 시험 결과, 표준 조합형은 완성형에 비해 적은 메모리 공간을 필요로 하지만 더 많은 처리 시간을 소모하고 유니코드는 가장 큰 메모리 공간을 필요로 하지만 처리 속도는 가장 빠른 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구에서는 효율적이고 신속한 철도사고처리를 위해 임시복구 표준화(code) 및 표준운영체계(안)을 제시하고 있다. 우선, 철도사고유형을 국내 외 철도사고유형별 피해종류로 재분류하였으며, 이를 관련분야, 복구대상, 사고위치의 3자리 표준화된 코드로 제시하였다. 또한, 임시복구 표준운영체계(안) 수립방법을 정립하고 표준화된 임시복구 유형별 최악의 경우(worst case)와 임시복구절차 수립을 위한 중요항목(event)을 도출하여 임시복구유형별 임시복구 표준운영절차를 제시하였다. 이러한 표준화(code) 및 표준운영절차는 철도사고 DB관리, 신속한 사고처리 및 피해최소화를 위한 철도사고 비상대응관리체계 구축에 중요한 역할을 담당할 수 있을 것이다.
