  • In foreign countries, ISNI-based creative work identification and linkage services have been established and operated in various fields, while in Korea, ISNI utilization and linkage services limited to some fields are operated mainly by the National Library of Korea. The purpose of this study is to propose an ISNI-based linkage and utilization service that can be applied in Korea. To achieve the purpose of this study, we examined overseas ISNI linkage cases and identified the requirements of related organizations. We also proposed four ways to build ISNI sharing and convergence services. These include establishing Identifiers Co-operation Initiatives (ICI), establishing creator profiles, activating ISNI through the publishing industry, and activating ISNI services through external linkages. We hope that this study will serve as a basis for building ISNI-based linkage and utilization services.

  • New product development (NPD) is crucial for fashion brands as they are required to constantly innovate in product design and technology to remain competitive in the global fashion market. In this study, we investigated the co-creative new fashion product development (NFPD) process to understand its structural characteristics and examined the components of this business model through case studies. Fashion companies frequently collaborate with consumers to create unique and innovative fashion items that both satisfy consumer demand and expand their economic potential. Base on case studied involving consumer participation in NFPD, our study analyzed the structural characteristics of the co-creative NFPD process. Consequently, our investigation identified five key factors of the co-creative NFPD business model: co-value, co-creator, co-activity, co-platform, and co-partner. The co-creation approach established in this study will help advance research on new fashion strategies and provide foundational information for Korean fashion companies that are facing an increasingly competitive global market, thus making a significant contribution to the literature.

  • The Internet has had a significant impact on the operations of record companies and has transformed the role of music consumers. Active music consumers are regarded as not just consumers but also co-creators and innovators who create value; therefore, firms need to create environments in which they can learn from consumers. Prior studies exist on the effects of the Internet on the music business, including its structure and culture. However, these studies did not focus on exploring how the relationship between record labels and consumers changed, how networked music consumers influence value creation and how record labels are responding, and the difficulties from using and the drawbacks of interactive media and new business models in the music market. This study investigates these issues through interviews.

  • This study suggested that the concept of creative zone raised by the national interest of the 'Creation' should be extended in public libraries. The concept of creative zone in public libraries was analyzed on the basis of 'Con-creative structure ontology' by Rombach. As we understand a creator and creation as the relation of 'subject'-'object', The current concept of 'Creation' dilutes the possibility of 'Autogenese' that all beings as a subject possess. But 'Con-creative Structure' describes the process of 'Autogenese' through sharing and mutual communication of all beings. The formation process of Con-creative Structure corresponds to the philosophy of the library that supports the self-growth through communication and sharing. 'Co-working Space' is more suitable for the substantive image of Con-creativity than 'Makerspace'. Therefore, this study analyzed circumstances of creative zone in public libraries and Co-working Space in business areas and provided the conceptive and substantive modeling for Co-working Space in public libraries.

  • Site-specific performance is always the real on-site work taking place at the site. Hence, it deals with the reality, in other words, the time of creation and formation. And it creates value and meaning through the interaction and continuous direct communication process between the performers, audience and the local residents. In this performance, the audience's status as the passive observer changes. They become the co-agent who actively lead and complete the performance through their own experience. We have examined the The Working Methods of Site-specific Performance and Aesthetics of Effect through four Korean performances ; Marie, An aesthetic experiment of site as the storyteller; Heterotopia and Urban Movement Research or Play: We Will Move Your Sofa, as performances which have Revealed history, politics, institution engraved in the site ; A Song of Mandala and Miracle, as a ritualistic site-specific performance at the historic site. Some remarks on Site-specific performance ; First, In Site-specific performance, the habitus peculiar to the stage art and the mode of reception are changed. Second, a new mode of theatrical communication requires creator and audience to have a sharp aesthetic sensibility and to change one's perceptual habit. Third, Site-specific performance can act as a demonstration for the viewpoints of political activism through what could be called a dramatic close-up effect. Fourth, Site-specific performance also has the risk of merely becoming an unfocused and scattered performance or degenerating into a pseudo-sightseeing. To avoid this, an in-depth study of the site and its socio-cultural context, and the clear motivation with which one is trying to reveal and tell from the site must be indispensable. As the co-agent, the audience should also be aware and think about what the given performance signifies today.

  • All academic information on the web or elsewhere has its creator, that is, a subject who has created the information. The subject can be an individual, a group, or an institution, and can be a nation depending on the nature of the relevant information. Most information is composed of a title, an author, and contents. An essay which is under the academic information category has metadata including a title, an author, keyword, abstract, data about publication, place of publication, ISSN, and the like. A patent has metadata including the title, an applicant, an inventor, an attorney, IPC, number of application, and claims of the invention. Most web-based academic information services enable users to search the information by processing the meta-information. An important element is to search information by using the author field which corresponds to a personal name. This study suggests a method of efficient indexing and using the adjacent operation result ranking algorithm to which phrase search-based boosting elements are applied, and thus improving the accuracy of the search results of personal names. It also describes a method for providing the results of searching co-authors and related researchers in searching personal names. This method can be effectively applied to providing accurate and additional search results in the academic information services.

  • This study interpreted film-creators' information behavior by reconstructing information behavior in the process of film-planning using human information behavior. Film creators exchange, collect, and analyze information through channels in the information environment so called "the small world." After these processes, they strategically express this information by creating a film. This study concludes that the purpose of film-creating activity and that of everyday life information seeking are intertwined and that co-communication is the most important information channel and information source.
