출력 지지대 두께가 선택적 레이저 용융법으로 제작된 금속 하부구 조물 적합도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of support thickness on the adaptation of Co-Cr alloy copings fabricated using selective laser melting)

  • Purpose: This in vitro study aimed to evaluate the clinical acceptability of precision of fit of the support thickness of Co-Cr alloy copings fabricated using selective laser melting (SLM). Methods: Thirty dental stone models of maxillary left molar abutments were manufactured, images were taken using a scanner, and a computer-aided design program was used to design the form of a conventional metal ceramic crown coping. Overall, 30 single copings were made from Co-Cr alloy using SLM and divided into three support radius groups (0.1, 0.25, and 0.35 mm) of 10 for each. Digitized data were superimposed with three-dimensional inspection software to quantitatively obtain the machinability of a ceramic crown coping, and visual differences were confirmed using a color map. The root mean square values of the ceramic crown coping group were statistically analyzed using one-way analysis of variance (α=0.05). Results: The precision of fit was superior with 0.25 mm compared with 0.1 mm and 0.35 mm, and the results exhibited significant differences (p<0.05). All specimens showed that various support thicknesses did not exceed the clinically permitted value of 120 ㎛, which mean that more than 0.1 mm and 0.35 mm of support radius for SLM was adequate. Conclusion: The support thickness of Co-Cr alloy restoration fabricated using SLM is shown to affect the adaptation.

방사광 광전자 분광법을 이용한 Co-Pd 합금박막의 전자구조 연구 (Electronic Structures of Co-Pd Alloy Films Using Synchrotron Radiation Photoemission Spectroscopy)

  • 방사광 광전자분광법을 이용하여 $Co_{x}Pd_{100-x}$ 합금박막들(x = 0, 25, 40, 65)의 가전자띠 스펙트럼들을 측정하고, Co 3d 전자와 Pd 4d 전자들에 의한 각각의 부분스펙트럼 무게분포(partial spectral weight distribution : PSW)를 결정하였다. Co-Pd 합금박막에서의 Co 3d PSW는 수직자기이방성을 나타내는 영역에 해당하는 Co 함량 25% 이하에서 순수 Co 박막의 스펙트럼과 상당히 다른 구조를 보인 반면, Co 함량이 약 40% 이상이 되면 순수 Co 박막의 PES스펙트럼과 거의 일치하였다. Co 함량이 25% 이하의 Co 3d PSW에서 관찰된 페르미준위 근처의 봉우리 구조와 결합에너지 2 eV 근처의 어깨구조는 혼성에 의한 Co 3d 전자구조의 변화를 반영한다. 따라서 Co 3d 전자와 Pd 4d 전자 간의 혼성상호작용이 수직자기이방성의 결정에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 추측되었다. Co-Pd 합금박막에서의 Pd 4d PSW는 순수 Pd 스펙트럼에 비하여 그 폭이 넓고, 주 봉우리의 결합에너지가 크며, 페르미준위에서의 스펙트럼의 세기가 작게 관찰되었다. 그리고 Pd 함량이 감소함에 따라 Pd 4d PSW의 반치폭이 증가하였는데, 이러한 결과는 Co-Pd 합금이 형성될 때의 무질서 효과 또는 Co 3d 전자와 Pd 4d 전자간의 혼성상 호작용으로 인한 Pd 4d 전자구조의 변화를 반영하는 것으로 추측되었다.

스퍼터링 방법으로 성장한 코발트크롬철망간니켈 고엔트로피 질산화물 박막의 구조특성 (Structural Characterization of CoCrFeMnNi High Entropy Alloy Oxynitride Thin Film Grown by Sputtering)

  • This study investigates the microstructural properties of CoCrFeMnNi high entropy alloy (HEA) oxynitride thin film. The HEA oxynitride thin film is grown by the magnetron sputtering method using nitrogen and oxygen gases. The grown CoCrFeMnNi HEA film shows a microstructure with nanocrystalline regions of 5~20 nm in the amorphous region, which is confirmed by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM). From the TEM electron diffraction pattern analysis crystal structure is determined to be a face centered cubic (FCC) structure with a lattice constant of 0.491 nm, which is larger than that of CoCrFeMnNi HEA. The HEA oxynitride film shows a single phase in which constituting elements are distributed homogeneously as confirmed by element mapping using a Cs-corrected scanning TEM (STEM). Mechanical properties of the CoCrFeMnNi HEA oxynitride thin film are addressed by a nano indentation method, and a hardness of 8.13 GPa and a Young's modulus of 157.3 GPa are obtained. The observed high hardness value is thought to be the result of hardening due to the nanocrystalline microstructure.

Co-Cr-Mo 합금의 선삭 가공 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Machining Characteristics of Co-Cr-Mo Alloy in Turning Process)

  • In this study, researches were conducted as follows. First, as the basic experiment, the cutting speed, feedrate, and the depth of cut were set as the process parameters, and by setting the surface roughness as the factor of measurement for each of the combinations, and the analysis about cutting tendency of the material was conducted by proceeding the turning process of Co-Cr-Mo alloy. Second, by setting the feature of the surface roughness according to the 'turning processing condition' that was confirmed in the previous experiment, and by applying the Taguchi Method, the conditions that influence the features of the surface roughness according to the 'turning processing condition' of Co-Cr-Mo was analyzed, and also by measuring the surface roughness according to each of the 'cutting conditions', the optimal processing condition was generated. As the result of analysis, it was possible to understand that the factor that mostly affects the surface roughness was the cutting speed, followed by the dept of cutting and transfer speed, and as for the optimal processing condition, it was possible to find that the cutting speed was 5,000rpm, and the depth of cut was 0.1mm, and the feedrate was 0.003mm/rev, and the value of the surface roughness at this point is $0.197{\mu}m$.

  • In this paper, Ni-Co alloy was used for improvement of thermal stability of Ni silicide. The proposed Ni/Ni-Co structure exhibited wide temperature window of rapid thermal process. Sheet resistance as well as cross-sectional profile showed stable characteristics in spite of high temperature annealing up to $700^{\circ}C$ for 30min. Therefore, the proposed Ni/Ni-Co structure is highly promising for highly thermal immune Ni silicide for nano-scale CMOSFET technology.

Fine Structure Effect of PdCo electrocatalyst for Oxygen Reduction Reaction Activity: Based on X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy Studies with Synchrotron Beam

  • In this study, we have demonstrated the fine structure effect of PdCo electrocatalyst on oxygen reduction reaction activity with different alloy composition and heat-treatment time. In order to identify the intrinsic factors for the electrocatalytic activity, various X-ray analyses were used, including inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometer, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffractometer, and X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy technique. In particular, extended X-ray absorption fine structure was employed to extract the structural parameters required for understanding the atomic distribution and alloying extent, and to identify the corresponding simulated structures by using FEFF8 code and IFEFFIT software. The electrocatalytic activity of PdCo alloy nanoparticles for the oxygen reduction reaction was evaluated by using rotating disk electrode technique and correlated to the change in structural parameters. We have found that Pd-rich surface was formed on the Co core with increasing heating time over 5 hours. Such core shell structure of PdCo/C showed that a superior oxygen reduction reaction activity than pure Pd/C or alloy phase of PdCo/C electrocatalysts, because the adsorption energy of adsorbates was apparently reduced by lowering the dband center of the Pd skin due to a combination of the compressive strain effect and ligand effect.

  • Co-P-B/FeCrAlloy 촉매의 $NaBH_4$ 가수분해 특성과 내구성에 대해 연구하였다. 5 wt% $NaBH_4$ 농도에서 활성화 에너지가 25.2 kJ/mol로 귀금속 촉매와 비슷했고, $NaBH_4$ 농도가 증가할수록 활성화 에너지가 증가하였다. 20 wt% 이상의 $NaBH_4$ 농도에서 겔 형성이 수소발생과 촉매 내구성에 많은 영향을 줬다. $NaBH_4$ 농도가 높을 때 반응온도가 높을수록 겔 형성이 안 되므로 촉매 손실률이 낮았다. 수소발생과 촉매 내구성을 모두 고려했을 때 담지체를 $1,000^{\circ}C$에서 열처리하고, 초음파 진동없이 촉매를 담지하고, 촉매 담지 후 소성한 촉매가 우수하였다. 25 wt% $NaBH_4$에서는 촉매를 3회 이상 재사용하기 위해서는 $60^{\circ}C$ 이상의 온도에서 반응시켜야 함을 보였다.

  • Nd 함유량을 2~6at.%로 변화시킨 $\alpha$-(Fe, Co)-B-Nb-Cu 초미세결정립합금의 미세조직 및 자기특성을 조사하였다. 급속응고된 Ndx(Fe0.9Co0.1)90-xB6Nb3Cu1(2$\leq$x$\leq$6, 1at.% 간격) 합금은 x=3 이상에서 비정질상으로 제조되었다. 제조된 비정질합금은 열처리에 의해 $\alpha$-(Fe, Co) 및 Nd2(Fe, Co)14B1상으로 구성된 초미세결정립합금으로 결정화 되었다. 최적열처리조건에서 잔류자화는 Nd의 증가에 따라 감소하며, x=3에서 1.55T로 최대 값을 나타내었다. 보자력은 Nd함유량 증가에 따라 직선적으로 증가하여 x=6에서 4.6kOe이었으며, 최대에너지적은 10.6MGOe였다.

DLC박막을 코팅한 초경공구의 Al합금에 대한 절삭성능 향상 (Improvement of Cutting Performance of DLC Coated WC against Al Alloy)

  • Diamond-like-carbon (DLC) coatings could be good candidates as solid lubricants for cutting tools in dry machining of aluminum alloy. In this work, DLC thin films were produced as a friction reduction coating for WC-Co insert tip using the plasma immersion ion beam deposition (PIIED) technique. DLC coatings were also coated on $Al_2O_3$ specimens and high temperature wear tested up to $400^{\circ}C$ in dry air to observe the survivability of the DLC coating in simulated severe cutting conditions using a pin-on-disc tribotester with Hertzian contact stress of 1.3GPa. It showed reduced friction coefficients of minimum 0.02 up to $400^{\circ}C$. And cutting performance of DLC coated WC-Co insert tips to Al 6061 alloy were conducted in a high speed machining center. The main problems of built-up edge formation in aluminum machining are drastically reduced with improved surface roughness. The improvements were mainly related to the low friction coefficient of DLC to Al alloy and the anti-adhesion of Al alloy to WE due to the inertness of DLC.

고온 금형압축시 티타늄 합금 분말의 치밀화 거동 (Densification Behavior of Titanium Alloy Powder Under Hot Pressing)

  • Densification behavior of titanium alloy powder was investigated under hot pressing at various pressures and temperatures. Experimental date were obtained for densification of titanium alloy powder under an instantaneous loading and subsequent creep deformation during hot pressing. The constitutive models of Fleck et al. and the modified Gurson were employed for thermo-phastic deformation under the instantaneous loading and that f Abouaf and co-workers for creep deformation of titanium alloy powder during hot pressing. By implementing these constitutive equations into a finite element program(ABAQUS), finite element results were compared with experimental data during hot pressing. To investigate the effect of friction between the power and die wall, density distributions of power compacts were measured and compared with finite element calculations. Finite element results from the models of Fleck et al. and the modified Gurson agreed reasonably good with experimental data for densification and density distribution of titanium alloy powder under the instantaneous loading during hot pressing. Finite element results from the model of Abouaf and co-workers, however, somewhat overestimate experimental data for creep deformation of power compacts during hot pressing.
