남해의 하계 해조군집 -II. 조하대의 군집- (Summer Algal Communities in the Rocky Shore of South Sea of Korea -II. Subtidal communities-)

  • 조하대 해조군집은 뚜렷하지는 않지만 상${\cdot}$${\cdot}$하부로 구분되었다. 상부는 S. saganmianum, P. lanceolata, G. tenella, P. capillacea 등의 직립분기형으로 구성되었고, 투명도가 높은 지역에서는 수심 $3{\sim}5$까지이며, 탁도의 간섭에 의해 확장될 수 있었다. 중부는 투명도가 높은 외양역에서만 형성되었고, 그 범위는 $5{\sim}20m$ 사이이며, E. cava, Sargassum spp. 등의 대형갈조류에 의해 대표되며, 탁도가 높은 외양역에서는 상부에서 하부로 바로 이행하였다. 하부는 투명도가 높은 외양역은 중부와 이질적인 식생으로 보기 어렵고, 환경압박에 따른 양적인 차이로서 이해되었다. 출현종의 식물지리적 분포를 볼 때 본 조사지를 2 구역으로 나눌 수 있었다. 문섬의 구성종이 지리적 불연속을 이루는 것은 수온차에 의한다고 판단되었다. 문섬의 식생특성은 출현종수는 내만역의 도서보다 적으나 고유종이 많고, 다육질형 대형갈조류의 구성비가 높고, 종다양도 및 생체량은 거문도, 여서도 등과 유사하였다. 문섬을 제외한 9개 섬은 식생의 연속성을 나타내지만, 풍도의 차이가 있었다. 이중 관탈도, 여서도, 거문도, 추자도, 홍도는 투명도가 높은 외양역에 위치하며, 식생의 풍도가 유사하여 외양성 식생구로 뚜렷히 구분할 수 있었다. 반면 만재도, 소리도, 욕지도, 비진도는 비교적 고탁도대 내측에 위치하여 외양도서에 비해 풍도가 낮게 나타났으나, 분류군의 구성비로 볼 때 외양성 식생구의 성격을 띄고 있는 이행단계의 식생구라고 판단되었다. 그리고 이러한 식생의 구분에 있어서 탁도에 따른 조하대 E. cava 군락의 유무가 매우 중요함을 시사하였다.

  • 이상기후는 도로교통 사고 위협요소로써 빈번하게 심각한 영향을 주고 있다. 특히, 도로교통에서 기상변화 또는 재해에 의한 영향은 장대교량, 터널, 사면 및 결빙 지역에서 영향이 크기 때문에 이들 지역에 대한 관심 있는 관리가 필요하며 발생할 수 있는 사고를 줄이기 위해서도 집중적인 도로 관리와 도로 기상 정보 제공 및 조기 경보, 도로 순찰, 교통통제와 같은 요소들이 필요하다. 도로의 눈과 결빙은 제설로 위험을 줄일 수는 있으나, 강풍은 피할 수 없는 요소이다. 본 연구에서는 도로 기상 정보와 기후, 재해 정보를 활용하여 국지 지역에서 안전운전을 위한 경보 정보를 설계를 하고자 한다. 극한 기상에 노출된 운전자를 위한 최상의 경보 정보 설계는 도로 상황 감시 개선, 도로 기상정보 감시, 정확한 사용자 정보전달들이 될 것이며, 또한 바람 및 재해 상황에 대한 통계, 표면 조건 통계, 차종 및 차종에 따른 바람에 의한 사고 통계와 조기 경보 정책과 교육들도 이를 위해서는 수반되어야 할 요소들이다.

모혈(募穴)의 위치(位置) 및 작용(作用)과 반응대(反應帶)의 상관성(相關性) 고찰(考察) (Relationship of Front Points' Location and Function to Response Zone)

  • Front Points are told to be deeply related with viscera and bowels in oriental medicine. Since the Front Points are treated as response zone, it can be used for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in viscera and bowels. The location of Front Points are very similar to the several response zones in western medicine. Diagnostic aspect of Front Points to several response zones were discussed in here based on many thesis and reported laboratorial experiments. Front Points are located in the same latitude of viscera and bowels. So, diagnosis result in Front Points represent condition of each organs. Palpitation of the Front Points can make diagnosis of body surface and the organ beneath the body surface. Such use of Front Points for diagnosis can used as the treatment points also. Only three Front Points (LU-1, LI-14, GB-24) in lung, liver and gall bladder meridian are located on its meridian. The Front Points of Stomach (CV-12) cross its meridian or closely located to it. Unlike to those four Front Points that are matched to its meridian, other eight Front Points do not located or cross its meridian at all. It seems that the location of Front Points are decided by the location of organs and the conditions at a certain organ do not delivered by the meridians but delivered by main collaterals, tertiary collaterals and superficial collaterals instead. Among visceral response zones, Five Front Points (CV-3, CV-4, CV-12, LI-14, GB-25) are exactly matched to Head's response zone and other Front Points are closely matched to the Head's response zone. There are five Front Points (CV-12, CV-14, CV-17, LI-14, GB-24) that are matched with the location of pressing palpitation point and other Front Points are closely located to the pressing palpitation point. So far, it was clear that the Front Points do have important role as response points. Symptoms expressed to the Front Points were delivered conditions or symptoms occur in corresponding organ and the anatomical location of Front Points were also found near the corresponding organ. Diagnostic and therapeutic application of Front Points for Organ theory and in the Interpromotion-restraint of the five elements in oriental medicine can be made in future to increase its potential.

낙동강 하구와 부산연안해역에서 대장균의 해역별 분포특성 (Distributional Characteristics of Escherichia coli at Nakdong River Mouth and Busan Coastal Area)

  • 낙동강 하구역과 부산연안해역에서 분변계 대장균의 계절적, 해역별 분포특성을 파악하기 위해, 2013년 2월부터 2015년 11월까지 계절 조사를 수행하였다. 아울러 부산연안해역의 오염 정도와 해역의 지리학적 특성을 바탕으로 25개 정점을 5개의 구역(I, II, III, IV, V)을 나누어 평가하였다. 조사기간 중 수온과 염분은 각각 7.50~27.64℃와 16.82~34.82 psu의 범위로 관찰되었고, 수온은 전형적인 온대지역의 특성을 보였다. 염분은 2014년 하계 구역 IV에서 구역 III까지 광역해역에 걸쳐 저염분화 현상이 나타나, 대장균의 증식을 가속화시켰다. 대장균 E. coli는 2015년 추계 정점 1(지역 I)에서 6,000 cfu l-1로 최고치를 기록되었고, 외측 구역 III에서 상대적으로 낮게 관찰되었다. 수온은 대장균 E. coli과 유의한 상관성이 관찰되지 않았지만(p>0.05), 상대적으로 고수온조건에서 대장균 밀도가 높게 나타났다. 아울러 대장균 밀도는 염분농도와 음(r=-0.53 p<0.05)의 상관관계를 보였고, 해역의 저염분화 현상은 대장균의 증식 및 유지에 중요한 촉진제 역할을 한 것으로 파악되었다. 결과적으로 부산연안해역에서 하계 집중강우로 인한 육상기원 담수 유입으로 분변계 대장균이 지역 IV과 지역 III에서 현저하게 영향을 미쳤고, 계절에 관계없이 수영만에서 높은 대장균 밀도가 관찰되어 오염화 현상이 두드러졌다.

Bloom type 연주기의 냉각패턴 평가를 위한 응고해석 (Solidification Analysis for Evaluation of Cooling Pattern in Bloom Type Continuous Caster)

  • The continuous casting is primarily a heat-extraction process in which the heat transfer at various cooling zones profoundly influences quality of products. So development of numerical model is necessarily needed for more specific and clear investigations upon heat transfer mechanism at mold and secondary cooling zones. In this study, heat transfer coefficients which shows the characteristic of heat transfer mechanism in mold are calculated for more exact analysis with temperatures measured in bloom mold using optimal algorithm, and finally the validity of cooling conditions at secondary cooling zone which is actually used at field for 30 Ton bloom type continuous casting of 0.187%C is investigated. From the results of solidification analysis, the characteristic of bloom mold shows good agreements with that of previously studies by other authors and optimized cooling conditions for 0.187%C are presented.

Development of Detection Methods for Cellulolytic Activity of Auricularia auriculajudae

  • To obtain basic information on the detection of cellulolytic activity in Auricularia auricula-judae, the influences of dye reagent, pH, and temperature were assessed. Chromogenic dye (congo red, phenol red, remazol brilliant blue, and trypan blue) was individually incorporated into a medium containing either carboxymethyl-cellulose, Avicel, or D-cellobiose as a polysaccharide carbon substrate. The other assessments utilized pHs ranging from 4.5 to 8.0 and temperatures from $15\sim35^{\circ}C$. Overall, when A. auricula-judae species were transferred onto media contained Congo red and adjusted pH 7.0 and then incubated at $25^{\circ}C$ for 5 days, the clear zone indicative of cellulolytic activity was more pronounced.

  • The nonlinear dynamic behaviors of guardrail established on the local or high way have been investigated using BARRIER Ⅶ program with respect to four design variables such as section type of beams and posts, impact angle, impact velocity and vehicle weight. Computer simulation programs are sophisticated analytical models for analyzing dynamic vehicle/barrier interactions and provide a relatively inexpensive alternative to full scale crash testing. This study has been focused on the structural adequacy, occupant risk, and vehicle trajectory. For this purpose, the maximum deflection and impact force have been calculated to design the clear zone and to analyze effect of impact attenuation. Also, the acceleration of vehicle and exit angle after collision have been computed to estimate the occupant risk. From this study, it is suggested that we should strengthen the design criteria of guradrail to prevent from disastrous traffic accidents.

금불초로 염색한 견직물의 염색성 및 항균성 (Dyeability and Antimicrobiality of the Silk Fabric Dyed with Inula Britannica)

  • This study was to investigate the natural dyeing materials in domestic, trials to detect new Inula Britannica. An appropriate dyeing condition ;was bath ratio 1:20, 50% (o.w.f.)conc., $80^{\circ}C$, 50min. The K/S values of silk fabric was the most efficient for the pre-mordanting method. The value of dyed fabric was mostly dark, for the mordanting, the chroma was best clear when using the Cr-mordant, color difference was distinct when using the Fe-mordant. The antimicrobiality of Inula Britannica itself appeared as a 6mm halo zone, dyed fabric was excellent with result of over 90% in mordant. In the case of dye fastness, the drycleaning and wet cleaning fastness was excellent, rubbing and perspiration fastness was improved, and light fastness was over level 2.

열화상 비파괴 검사법을 이용한 도로포장 결함 검출 (Detecting of the defects of pavement of a road by using infrared thermography)

  • The purpose of this paper is to find an limitation to detect the defect of damaged asphalt pavement structures for infrared thermography. We use heat source of a natural light to detect the defect efficiently. The heat source was applied to the asphalt specimens. Four asphalt specimens were used: one was the asphalt containing depth of 1cm internal timber, two was the asphalt containing depth of 2cm internal void, Three was the asphalt containing depth of 3cm internal timber and four was not the asphalt containing internal timber. It was found that the depth of 3cm internal timber could be detected by this method. In addition, we used the image processing to make the damage zone displayed clear in the image obtained from the thermographic operation.

Aspergillus flavus의 강력 protease생성 돌연변이의 유발 (On a highly proteolytic mutant strain of Aspergillus flavus)

  • Mutational experiments were performed to improved to improve the protease productivity of Aspergillus flavus KU 153, which is selected among the wild strains. A UV-induced mutant strain having high protease productivity was obtained by the use of the clear zone method as a simple criterion for a primary screening test. Neutral and alkaline protease activities of hte mutant strain were higher than 1.8 times, comopared with those of the parental strain, respectively, while in the case of acid protease, it was 2.7 times. The mutant strain selected was more powerful in the production of cellulase and amylase, as well s protease in wheat bran, compared with those of the parental strain. protease production of the parental strain has reached maximum level at 3 days culture, while alkaline nad neutral protease production of the mutantstrain has reached at 2 days culture. On the other hand, the mutant strain formed the spore slowly, compared with the parental strain. Column chromatography of the neutral protease on DEAE-Sephadex A-50 showed that the mutant strain was not induced the formation of another neutral protease isozyme, but induced the variation in the function of regulatory gene.
