This paper describes the acoustical conditions of elementary school and high school classrooms as well as university classrooms in Korea and suggests a need for Korean acoustic standards and guidelines for classroom design. Current standards and guidelines of classroom acoustics in several countries were briefly introduced to understand their acoustical performance criteria for background noise levels and reverberation times, and noise isolation design requirements in various types of classrooms. The results of several acoustic survey of domestic classrooms in elementary school, high school, and university were described and compared to provide information of the acoustic characteristics of Korean school classrooms. The survey includes occupied and unoccupied data on the acoustical conditions, noise levels, and noise isolation performance in the classrooms. Acoustical parameter values for achieving 'good' speech intelligibility in active university classrooms were also presented.

The purpose of this study was to design an inquiry supporting tool on wiki based collaborative learning and to investigate the effect of the inquiry supporting tool. Eight design principles were selected and more specified design strategies were made from the literatures. The first system with the first-round design principles was developed and implemented in an actual classroom. After the first field study, researcher found a few drawbacks of the system. The second system was implemented in the classroom again. Finally developed wiki-based inquiry supporting tool system is unique in that it allows instructors to design their own CSCL inquiry activities, and it has intuitive menu tabs showing inquiry learning processes.

The total evaluation of educational environment is needed with the rapid growth of the number of students. Especially it is very important to evaluate the physical environment of the classroom in elementary schools where the students spend their whole school life. This study aims to evaluate the daylighting and sound insulation performance of the classroom in elementary school, considering factors such as ceiling height and Wi/Wa (Window/Wall) ratio and then to plan the classroom. Analytic results of the daylighting and sound insulation performance show that the optimum Wi/Wa ratio is $35{\sim}45%$. Reduction of the ceiling height from 3.3m has little influence on the distribution of the indoor daylight factor and sound insulation performance

This study investigates the impact of flipped classroom strategy in developing students' achievement and acquisition of life skills. The study employed a quasi-experimental design where students were divided into two groups: an experimental (N=22) and a control (N=22). The randomly selected and assigned sample consisted of sixth-year elementary school students studying English as a basic course. The findings revealed statistically significant differences between the two group's means in both achievement and life skills tests in favor of the experimental group. Students of the experimental group who studied using the flipped classroom strategy outperformed the control group who studied in the standard way in achieving the English language and in the life situations test, where the effect size of the use of the strategy was large in both dependent variables. The study is concluded with some recommendations to facilitate the use of flipped classroom strategy for EFL teachers. This can be achieved by training teachers on using the strategy and providing technological resources at schools to implement the strategy efficiently.

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of a sense of classroom community and social presence on learning satisfaction in a cyber learning setting. The subjects in this study were 172 sixth graders in M elementary school in the city of D, who studied in a cyber setting at home. A survey was conducted to gather data, and multiple regression analysis were carried out to determine the influence of a sense of classroom community and social presence on learning satisfaction. As a result, it is found that a sense of classroom community and social presence had a significant correlation to learning satisfaction. A sense of classroom community turned out to affect learning satisfaction. A sense of classroom community are a major variable that should seriously be taken into account in an elementary cyber learning setting in order to boost the learning satisfaction of learners. In the future, the kinds of instructional design that could foster a sense of classroom community is required when cyber learning environments are prepared.

The actual conditions of school illumination was investigated. The illumination state was classified by the number of installed luminaires per 1 classroom. The illuminance was measured and analyzed. The work surface illuminance was up to the standard, but the illuminance on blackboard was below standard when there was no local lighting. As a result of conducting a simulation based on the measurement of the reflection factors of the classroom finishing materials and lamp replacement and lamp cleaning, nine luminaires for general lighting and local lighting for the blackboard were required, and a design considering illumination maintenance was called for.

The purpose of this study is to diagnose the problems of an elementary school care classroom in terms of facilities and physical environment and to suggest an improvement plan for building safer and more pleasant facilities and environment in further proceeding the policies of a whole-day care classroom. To this end, we analyzed the main contents of the domestic policies for elementary school care classes and the related spatial standards amongst the management plans of provincial education offices nationwide. In addition, we analyzed the relevant care facility standards of advanced countries such as the U.S., Australia, and Singapore and diagnosed the physical environmental level of Korean care classes in comparison to the international standards. Afterwards, we conducted a case study of elementary school care classes in order to examine the key issues with the environment of care classes, the causes of these issues and the user recognition and demand. The key results of this research are as follows. First, it is necessary to elaborate and refine the guidelines on elementary school care classrooms. Second, in order to provide high-quality elementary care services, it is important to have a combined classroom that can be operated at the level equivalent to or similar to a dedicated care classroom. Third, it is necessary to regularly check the facilities and environment of the elementary school care classroom.

Thus, to solved lacking, this study presented inconvenient of Internet Explorer web browser that use in existing. And searched improvement plan in reply. Also, embodied web browser that actuality practical use is possible reflecting this in design. Web browser that embody confirmed that satisfaction which is excellent through spot application is. To be more efficient and utilizes as class effectively, this web browser may be beaconed to primary school and secondary school teacher and students of our country.

The whole world is emphasizing 'creativity' as the core competence of the future society that global talents should have in the 21st century. Korea is also actively promoting the development of creative and convergent talents by recognizing these times and social needs. It is also required to improve the physical environment, which is an essential condition of education. As a result, the curriculum is being implemented as an institutional method for creative education since 2009, and there is a need for continuous research for effective operation of the curriculum system in relation to the establishment of the facilities of credit school system introduced from 2022 to be. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the indoor environment from the viewpoint of creative environment and to suggest the improvement direction for the improvement of the satisfaction of the education space for the students. The subjects of this study were three middle schools operated by the advanced classroom in Busan Metropolitan City. The results of this study were as follows; First, the satisfaction of autonomy and sociality was relatively high and the satisfaction of comfort was the lowest among the characteristics of creative environment. Second, it was found out that a priority should be given to ways to enhance sociality in space so as to support smooth communication and interaction between teachers, students, and students in the environmental plan for creative classroom classroom.

In this study, we aim to search the utilization plan of primary 3-4 mathematics textbooks for 'Flipped Classroom' practice. In the flipped classroom, students are required to manipulate more rigorous concepts, deal with realistic problems and various activities, and discussions. Researcher analyzed the new mathematics textbooks of primary 3-4 grade that is applied 2014. The criteria of analysis was made of the instructional model for 'Flipped Classroom' that was set up by previous researcher. To practice the flipped classroom, teachers need to design their classes carefully for using selectively many materials of the textbooks to make students participate discussion in the classroom actively and to consider their interests and levels.
