The hormone resistin is associated with type II diabetes mellitus in rodent model. Resistin impairs glucose tolerance and insulin action. A new class of anti-diabetic drugs were called thiazolidinediones (TZDs) downreguates a resistin. Resistin gene expression is induced during adipocyte differentiation and resistin polypeptide is secreted by adipocytes. But, the correlation between increased adiposity and resistin remains unknown. The objectives of this study was to clone a mouse resistin CDNA and to generate transgenic mice overexpressing mouse resistin gene. The pCMV-mus/resistin gene was prepared from previous recombinant pTargeT$^{TM}$-mus/resistin by digestion of Bgl II, and has used for microin- jection into pronuclei of one cell embryos. Mouse resistin expression was detected in transgenic F$_1$mice by RT-PCR. The transgenic mouse with resistin gene expression has heavier body weight which was measured higher level of plasma glucose than that of normal mouse. And in diet-induced experiments, in fasting group, resistin expression was higher than that of re-feeding group. This result demonstrates that the resistin gene overexpressing mice may be became to obesity and be useful as an animal disease model to be diabetes caused by insulin resistance of resistin.n.

이 연구는 중학교 생식과 발생 단원에서 수업 중 교사가 학생들에게 요구하는 이해와 학생들이 수업을 통해 인식하는 이해를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 수업 중 학생들에게 하는 질문, 과제 또는 학생 활동을 87명의 교사를 대상으로 예비 조사하여 Wiggins & McTighe(1998; 2004)가 제시한 이해의 여섯 가지 측면을 토대로 36문항의 선택형 설문을 개발하였다. 이를 90명의 교사와 370명의 학생을 대상으로 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사들이 요구하는 이해의 측면은 설명 항목이 가장 많았고, 그 다음 해석, 적용, 관점, 공감, 자기지식 순으로 나타났다. 학생들이 인식하는 이해의 측면은 설명 항목이 가장 많았고, 그 다음 해석, 관점, 적용, 공감, 자기지식 순으로 나타나, 적용이 관점보다 많았던 교사의 경우와 차이를 보였다. 이해의 각 측면에 대한 교사의 성별 간 유의미한 차이는 없었으나, 학생의 경우 설명과 적용 항목에서 유의미한 차이를 보여 여학생이 남학생보다 민감하게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교사와 학생 두 집단 간 이해의 측면을 비교한 결과, 설명, 적용, 공감에서 교사가 요구하는 이해와 학생들이 인식하는 이해에 차이를 보였다(p<0.05). 반면, 해석, 관점, 자기지식에서는 교사가 요구하는 이해대로 학생들이 인식하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 학교 교육의 궁극적인 목적은 교과의 진정한 이해를 기반한 학습자의 전인적 성장에 있다(강현석, 유제순, 2010). 따라서 교사는 자신이 가르치는 교과 내용에 대한 충분한 이해를 토대로 학생들의 이해에 대한 인식을 고려하여 여섯 가지 이해의 측면이 고르게 반영되도록 학습내용을 다양하게 제시함으로써 진정한 이해에 도달할 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다.

A movie which brought its material from a historical character or incidents in the past was produced by a story suggestion through a historical fact. It is because Shakespeare created a story based on a mythical element related with his life in the plot which was written from the script of the play and was on the show in the cinemas of London. It is an obvious fact that the historical drama of this movie was intentionally modified and the fictional story was added to episodes in order to create a dramatic effect. However, reflecting historical backgrounds and cultural aspects accurately through a historical study would also be an important factor. Therefore, the backgrounds and aspects presented in this movie are a kind of storytelling which was reconstructed as if a historian added his opinion to historical facts like a discourse. A historical background in was a story about Shakespeare who worked at the theater in London as a writer in 1593 the period of England Reneissance. The movie included the working and playwriting of Shakespeare who is a main character. This indicated not only the environment of the theater and literature during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I but also historical aspect in the early modern industrial society in England. This movie, that is, described that time as a recreation such as a cultural acceptance and an achievement of an initial capitalism in Renaissance in the life of characters. In particular, the factor of theaters flourishing during the Renaissance was because a newly emerging class, bourgeoisie, who held the capital emerging from a policy for middle class led to a box office hit through founding theaters and drama company and selling tickets and performing plays by themselves. Like this, the movie depicted the time led by plays to a industrialization. Moreover, Social aspects in the late 1500s were revealed in this movie through a depiction of the cinemas and the city of London. The depiction of the city of London reflected a social situation of an initial capitalism rapidly developed in trade and commerce. The social aspects such as conflicts between social classes based on getting richer and poorer, mammonism, a corrupted love between the male and the female, a immortality with growing brothels, religious and political conflicts with the foundation of the church in England were closely linked with characters' daily routine at that time in London and were reflected in this work overall. The reason why we highlight characters' job and custom like this in the movie is that these are ideationally inherent in a critical mind from people at that moment. The historical background and reproduction of the image depicted in the movie were focused on characters' daily routine and indicated the problem mentally and independently exposed in the form of initial capitalism.

이 연구는 기존 학술담론과 사회문화적 현실에서 주변화되고 간과되어 왔던 서울 '강북' 청소년들이 어떻게 그들 나름의 일상을 영위하고, 저마다 정당한 정체성을 추구하는 청년으로 성장해 나가는지 탐구한다. 이를 위해 약 3년에 걸쳐, 서울 동대문구 고등학생 아홉 명의 1학년 시절과 졸업 후 진로를 택하게 된 시기, 이렇게 두 시점 속에서 그들에 대한 참여관찰과 심층 인터뷰를 수행했다. 또한 그들이 보다 적극적으로 민속지학적 연구에 참여할 수 있도록 성찰적 사진 인터뷰(reflexive photography interview) 방법을 도입했다. 같은 '강북' 청소년이라 할지라도 경제적 배경에 따라 일상의 구조와 경험이 달랐는데, 상대적으로 중하층의 '주변부적' 위치에 놓인 청소년들은 방치되고 무료하게 흘러가는 일상을 보내야 했다. 하지만 그 속에서도 그들은 음악듣기, 독특한 취향 형성, 온라인 커뮤니티, 육체적 실천 등을 통해 소비문화에서 벗어난, 저마다의 일상생활 문화를 만들어내고 긍정적 자기 서사를 구축해 왔다. 그러나 청년으로 진입하는 시기에 이르러 그들은 결국 계급적 한계 앞에서 좌절할 수밖에 없었고, 현실과 타협해야 했다. 아르바이트와 직업교육, 자격증 획득으로 이어지는 '노동하는 청년'으로서의 현실경험 속에서 계급 귀속성이 생성되는 가운데, 부분적으로는 그 경험에 대한 긍정적 가치평가도 동시에 이루어지고 있음을 발견할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 청소년의 계급정체성 형성과정에서 문화실천이 중요한 역할을 하고 있음을 발견했고, 향후 한국사회의 복잡한 계급문화 지형도 속에서 청소년기의 계급 문화의 형성과 재생산에 대한 총체적 연구의 필요성을 강조한다. 또한 이 논문은 강북 청소년들을 계급 재생산으로 결정지어진 수동적 객체로 볼 것이 아니라, 사회적으로 존중받아야 할 각자 자기 삶의 능동적 행위자로 볼 것을 제안한다.

The sex ratio (F:M) in the same population of oyster, Crassostrea gigas at the commencement of the study (2007) was 1:1.0, but changed to 1:2.8 by the end of the study (2008). The sex reversal rate in two-year-old oysters was 40.2%. Specifically, female to male sex reversal rate was 66.1%, which is higher than the male to female sex reversal rate of 21.1%. The sex reversal pattern of C. gigas appears to go from male ${\Rightarrow}$ female ${\Rightarrow}$ male, and as such is determined to be rhythmical hermaphroditism.

이 글은 페미니스트 범죄서사인 양귀자의 『나는 소망한다 내게 금지된 것을』을 1990년대 여성운동과 페미니즘의 대중화, 강남 중산층 소비 문화와 미디어 문화의 전면화를 배경으로 중산층 가정의 사회적 도덕적 규범성이 강화되는 맥락을 보여주는 텍스트로 읽고자 하였다. 이 소설의 여성 주인공인 강민주와 백승하는 모두 1990년대 텔레비전과 광고 등을 통해 대중적으로 가시화하기 시작한 강남의 거주자이다. 다른 한편으로 남녀 주인공에게 각각 할당된 페미니스트이자 강한 소비적 정체성을 지닌 여성과 부드럽고 가정적인 남성은 모두 당대 여성운동의 성장과 대중화된 페미니즘의 이슈를 체현한다. 소비주의 미디어 문화, 여성운동, 민주화의 결합은 무엇보다 중산층이라는 물질적 토대를 가시화하는 가운데 부드럽고 가정적인 남성상을 창출했다. 이 소설에서 가정적 남성상은 페미니스트 범죄 서사를 중산층 가정의 안정과 위엄을 공격하는 팜므 파탈의 서사로 전화시키며, 바로 그 전화의 순간에 강민주는 자신을 흠모해온 하층계급 남성에 의해 죽임을 당한다. 양귀자의 이 소설은 1990년대 본격화된 강남을 배경으로 한 중산층의 사회문화적 재현과 페미니즘 이슈를 중첩시킨 텍스트로서 시사적일 뿐만 아니라 징후적이다. 1990년대 말 이후 한국에서 펼쳐질 범죄 서사의 핵심 코드로서 여성 혐오 살인의 사회문화적 맥락이 무엇인지를 보여주기 때문이다.

There have been increasing consumption of luxury fashion and recent marketing researches on luxury syndrome, trading up, etc. in mass fashion today. Historically the consumption of luxury had been concentrated on only upper class in the past. But since 20th century, the mass consumers of modern consumptive society show their interests in luxuries which had been preoccupation of few elite class. Accordingly, it can be thought that the historical review on the changes in the meaning of luxury should be necessary for a better understanding of modern luxury consumption in sociocultural context. The purpose of this study is to grasp the sociocultural meaning of luxury in modern fashion with a holistic viewpoint by examining the changes of luxury consumption in mass fashion. It will be helpful as a conceptual approach of modern luxury consumption. For this, the documentary study has been executed. It focused on since 20th century, which can be the root of mass productive and consumptive society in fashion history. The results are as follows. The luxury in court elite system before 20th century had been concentrated on few elite class exclusively but gradually began to be represented as inferior cheaper version by mass production according to their increasing interests since industrial revolution. The luxuries in elite designer system in the first half of 20th century were represented as illegal design piracy and legal genuine reproduction in spite of problems brought about between originality and copy. The concept of mass as consumer was virtually alienated in both systems. But in fashion system since the second half of 20th century, various types of consumer luxuries has appeared on account of the trading up phenomenon in drastic growth of mass culture.

The purpose of this study is to find the spatial factors, strucure of living and activity in traditional Korean house through the Phiysiological view, Spatial factors of the house are concerned to the interior environment and sanitary condition, The elements of respiratory, nerve, temperature sence. vision, hearing, smelling have good condition and touch, pressure sence, pain, metabolism are poor in the house, Ventilation, Lighting, pleasant condition of interior environment are concerned to the elements that mentioned above and have most important meaning in the relation rate of space as 1st factor. And 2nd factor is for metabolism, housework and rest, 3rd factor ie for temperature sence, privacy and reproduction. The relation rate of factors concering interior environment are high in the upper class house. Anbang has important meaning in the relation of living structure and relation sequence of space is anbang, Konnonbang, kitchen, toilet, water place, auxiliary buildings. The relation rate of activity is high in interior space in winter and exterior space in summer.

In this paper, a class of more general delayed viral infection model with lytic immune response is proposed by Song et al.[1] ([Journal of Mathematical Analysis Application 373 (2011), 345-355). We derive the basic reproduction numbers $R_0$ and $R_0^*$ 0 for the viral infection, and establish that the global dynamics are completely determined by the values of $R_0$ and $R_0^*$. If $R_0{\leq}1$, the viral-free equilibrium $E_0$ is globally asymptotically stable; if $R_0^*{\leq}1$ < $R_0$, the immune-free equilibrium $E_1$ is globally asymptotically stable; if $R_0^*$ > 1, the chronic-infection equilibrium $E_2$ is globally asymptotically stable by using the method of Lyapunov function.

Caenorhabditis elegans undergoes a developmental molting process that involves a coordinated interplay among diverse intracellular pathways. Here, we investigated the functions of two fatty acid biosynthesis genes; pod-2, encoding acetyl-CoA carboxylase, and fasn-1, encoding fatty acid synthase, in the C. elegans molting process. Although both the pod-2 and fasn-1 genes were expressed at constant levels throughout C. elegans development, knockdown of the proteins encoded by these genes using RNA interference produced severe defects in triglyceride production, molting, and reproduction that were coupled to suppression of NAS-37, a metalloprotease. An assessment of the structure and integrity of the cuticle using a COL-19::GFP marker and Hoechst 33258 staining showed that downregulation of either pod-2 or fasn-1 impaired cuticle formation and disrupted the integrity of the cuticle and the hypodermal membrane.
