실내환경과 건설현장 온도변수를 고려한 고력볼트 체결력 예측 (Estimation on Clamping Force of High Strength Bolts Considering Temperature Variable of Both Site conditions and Indoor Environments)

  • The torque shear high strength bolt is clamped normally at the break of pin-tail specified. However, the clamping forces on slip critical connections do not often meet the required tension, as it considerably fluctuates due to torque coefficient dependent on lubricant affected temperature. In this study, the clamping tests of torque shear bolts were conducted independently at indoor conditions and at construction site conditions. During last six years, temperature of candidated site conditions was recorded from $-11^{\circ}C$ to $34^{\circ}C$. The indoor temperature condition was ranged from $-10^{\circ}C$ to $50^{\circ}C$ at each $10^{\circ}C$ interval. As for site conditions, the clamping force was reached in the range from 159 to 210 kN and the torque value was from 405 to $556 N{\cdot}m$. The range of torque coefficient at indoor conditions was analyzed from 0.126 to 0.158 while tensions were indicated from 179 to 192 kN. The torque coefficient at site conditions was ranged from 0.118 to 0.152. Based on this test, the variable trends of torque coefficient, tension subjected temperature can be taken by statistic regressive analysis. The variable of torque coefficient under the indoor conditions is $0.13%/^{\circ}C$ while it reaches $2.73%/^{\circ}C$ at actual site conditions. When the indoor trends and site conditions is combined, the modified variable of torque coefficient can be expected as $0.2%/^{\circ}C$. and the modified variable of tension can be determined as $0.18%/^{\circ}C$.

  • A novel set of experimental test tooling for measuring pulling and holding forces for drawbeads on binders inclined at a wide range of angles is introduced. A mechanical design featuring a single load cell, a male-female draw bead set, translation and rotation degrees of freedom, and a screw-driven clamping system has been incorporated into a standard tensile test machine. On a real time basis, restraining and holding force data with respect to draw-in displacement may be directly downloaded into a PC for data processing. The proposed experimental system represents a significant breakthrough in drawbead simulation technology due to its relatively low cost, clever design, and versatility. The system is shown to yield excellent experimental data suitable for verifying theory and numerical model predictions.

  • 현재 국내에서 현장 체결공법으로 채용하고 있는 토크관리법은 토크계수를 근거로 해서 간접적으로 도입축력을 제어하는 방법이기 때문에 현장에서의 토크계수 관리가 상당히 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현장 시공시 볼트보관방법 및 현장관리에서 일반적으로 발생할 수 있는 주요 환경 요인 중 수분 침투, 녹 발생, 외기노출, 와셔의 오용 등 다양한 실험변수로 계획하여 토크계수의 변화에 따른 도입축력의 차이를 확인하기 위하여 실험을 수행했다. 실험에 사용된 볼트는 육각 고력볼트, TS 고력볼트, 아연피막처리 육각 고력볼트, ASTM A490 고력볼트로서 4종류로 구분하여 수행되었고, 각 볼트별로 시공환경에 따른 체결특성을 비교 분석하였다.

매입형 영구자석 동기전동기를 적용한 전기기계식 제동장치의 비상제동 성능평가 (A Evaluation of Emergency Braking Performance for Electro Mechanical Brake using Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor)

  • 본 논문은 전기기계식제동장치(EMB : Electro Mechanical Brake, 이하 EMB)의 제동 압부력(clamping force) 제어방법과 제동시험장비(dynamo test equipment)를 활용한 제동성능 평가결과에 대하여 다룬다. EMB와 관련한 연구는 자동차 분야에서 대부분 수행되었으며, 다양한 제어방법에 대한 정적상태의 압부력 시험결과를 주로 다루고 있으나 본 논문은 동적상태에서의 성능평가를 수행하였다. EMB의 구동을 위해 3상 매입형 영구자석 동기전동기(IPMSM : Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, 이하 IPMSM)가 적용되었으며 유한요소법(FEM : Finite Element Method, 이하 FEM) 해석 소프트웨어인 JMAG을 통하여 설계 및 해석을 수행하였다. EMB의 압부력제어를 위해 전류제어, 속도제어 및 위치제어가 수행되었으며, 전류제어기는 단위전류당 최대토크제어(MTPA : Maximum Torque Per Ampere, 이하 MTPA)가 적용되었다. 제동성능평가는 공압식 제동장치의 비상제동 성능시험 절차와 동일한 방법으로 수행되었으며 시험장비에 설치된 고속철도차량의 차륜을 110 km/h, 230 km/h 및 300 km/h로 회전하는 상태에서 각각의 속도 조건에 따른 EMB의 제동 압부력을 인가하여 감속성능을 확인하였다. 최고속도(300 km/h) 상태에서 비상제동 시험결과는 73초의 시간이 소요되었으며 차세대고속철도차량(HEMU-430X)에 적용된 공압식 제동장치의 성능시험 결과와 비교를 통하여 제동소요 시간 및 감속패턴의 유사함 확인하였다.

나사 풀림 방지를 위한 걸림턱 구조의 와셔 개발 및 성능 비교 (Development and Benchmark Test of Hole-Boss Locking Washers for the Prevention of Vibrational Loosening)

  • In this study, hole-boss locking washers were developed to prevent vibrational loosening, and a benchmark test was conducted to compare these washers with existing wedge locking washers, which are imported and high-priced. The developed washers consist of an upper washer with bosses and a lower washer with holes, and the bosses are caught in the holes so that the bolt is not loosened. Additionally, the top side of the upper washer and the underside of the lower washer have small wedges perpendicular to the direction of the bolt loosening, suppressing slips. A test by the Korea Test Laboratory indicated that the ratio of the loosening torque to the joining torque is greater than 70%, confirming that the developed washers have a sufficiently high anti-loosening performance. A Junker test apparatus was manufactured for the testing of vibrational loosening and a test comparison between the proposed washers and the existing wedge locking washers shows that the proposed washers have a slower reduction in the clamping force and a higher loosening-resistance in a vibrational circumstance compared with the wedge locking washers. These results indicate that the developed washers demonstrate a high performance and boast price competitiveness.

  • Laminate products for motor core are developed with a structure in which the importance of quality level and clamping force is influenced by the recent performance and safety of the product. It has been confirmed that the accuracy of the mold is emphasized, and that the accuracy of the tightening force produced by the stacked product for the motor core is greatly influenced by the change in the bottom dead center displacement of the aged high speed press. The reason why setting the mold, and test the effect of bottom dead center of high speed press is to improve product pull force in embossing process at mold. We have applied the system to minimize the effect on the damping displacement under the dynamical degree of the equipment by applying the emboss complement device which can test the influence and complement in the process.

실차 주행시험을 통한 디스크-패드 마찰계수 측정방법 (Measuring methods for friction coefficient of disc-pad through running test)

  • To stop the train safely within the limited traveling distance and reduce its speed to the desired speed, it is necessary to guarantee the correct braking force. Presently, most trains have electric propulsion system and have adopted combined electrical and mechanical(friction) braking system. The friction coefficient between brake disc and pad is an important parameter in determining the mechanical braking force. In general, friction coefficient data of braking material have been taken through the dynamo-test in a laboratory. This study have suggested two methodologies that can measure friction coefficient of braking material on the train's actual operating condition. The first is the direct method; measure the brake force and the clamping force applied on the mechanical brake by using strain gauges installed at the brake disk, and then calculate it. The second method is the indirect method; obtain the friction coefficient by using the train load and the equivalent brake force which is deducted the longitudinal force, such as resistance to motion, gradient resistance and curved resistance, from the inertia force applied to the train.

  • 장갑차의 창정비나 성능개량시 인서트를 교체할 수 없는 특수한 경우에는 크로메이트처리를 재수행함에 따라 체결력이 저하될 수 있는 리스크가 있다. 본 논문에서는 장갑차의 소재로 사용되는 알루미늄 판재에 인서트를 삽입한 채로 크로메이트를 할 경우, 인서트 체결력의 변화에 대하여 연구하였다. 판재의 표면처리와 인서트의 종류에 따른 영향성을 파악하기 위해 실제조건과 동일한 시편으로 파단강도를 측정하였다. 이러한 시험을 통해 차량 동체 제작 공정 기반을 마련하였다.
