The importance of maintenance of rail surface defects is increasing more according to the KTX operation. That is because during high speed operation of rolling stock, rail surface defects may cause shortened fatigue life of rail, acceleration of track degradation and reduced ride comfort. The paper was intended to study the establishment of rail grinding criteria of high-speed railway lines considering the KTX operation circumstances. For this, the specimens of UIC 60 rail on Kyeong-Bu high-speed operation lines were collected and they were analyzed for metallographic structure and tested for the hardness. By analyzing the test results to the factors affecting the RCF causing the defects of rail surface, the study suggested the rail grinding criteria of the domestic high speed railway lines. As the factors affecting RCF, passing tonnage, running speed and track condition are considered.

The purpose of this paper is to study the problems to be solved in the marketing strategy aspect by domestic pharmaceutical industry under the competitive market circumstances with multinational pharmaceutic enterprises. The major concern has been paid to the key ideas and practical methods to be needed in strengthening the competitive marketing power of domestic pharmaceutical industry against multinational pharmaceutical enterprises. In this article, the researcher is to analyze the current situations and problems of domestic pharmaceutical industry and finally the researcher is to provide the major ideas concerning the problems to be solved in the marketing strategy aspect by domestic pharmaceutical industries.

This study investigated the degree of expectation and satisfaction with internship program of undergraduates majoring in culinary studies, and suggested improvements in satisfaction for training programs. Differences between expectation and satisfaction were significant in all 21 items including pay for internship program, rest spaces, and break time during working. Expectation questions were extracted to five factors. Factor 1 circumstances of kitchen Factor 2 staff's ability and attitude Factor 3 working environment Factor 4 working hours and pay and Factor 5 rotation, period, and placement of jobs. Five factors were also obtained from factor analysis of satisfaction. Factor 1 working hours and rest Factor 2 staff's attitude and pay Factor 3 facilities and sanitation Factor 4 circumstances of kitchen and Factor 5 period and placement of jobs. Overall satisfaction values showed significant differences depending on gender, school-year system, grade, age, and school. The working hours and rest factor had the most significant influence on the overall satisfaction with internship program of undergraduates majoring in culinary studies.

Airborne separation assurance is a key requirement for Free Flight. This paper is to propose autonomous flight algorithm, such as extended authority of delegation, efficiency of airspace issue to deal with the empirical solution for free flight, and to measure flight efficiency and conflict detection and resolution (CD&R) by utilizing flight performance data under the two circumstances of scenario with the modeling of proposed algorithm and potential field algorithm. The results show that the autonomous flight algorithm is superior to the potential field algorithm under the circumstances of free flight airspace in terms of algorithm performance, CD&R, and flight efficiency.

This is a study of the history and the changes of methods of making shroud from Koryo up to present. Korea is Known as a country of East with its courtious people, and naturally the people observed the proprieties, especially on the funeral, in performing religious services and worshiping of the ancestors. Since Koryo and Yi Dynasty, because of the complexcity of the formalities under the confucianism, the shroud also became very complex. The process of making shroud was various according to the classes and economical circumstances. They made shroud of fine textured hemp cloth or silk, selecting one of 'good days' in leap year. As they believed the shroud should be rotten as soon as possible, fine textured hemp cloth was common as for the material. The color of the shroud was either plain or colored as the casual wears. In sewing shroud, the thread shouldn't be knotted nor connected in each seam and the strips should not be even numbered. These methods of making shroud have been changed variously and symplified according to the economical circumstances up to now.

This paper is to describe the development of nesting software for the materials cutting plan of footwear manufacturing processes. In shoes cutting process, almost of the materials cutting plan is dependent upon worker's experience. Thus, thepattern nesting by worker's experience for materials cutting is different form the real cutting results and also different form the error size of yield in degree of worker's skill. Recently, a few of domestic shoes' makers make use of oversee's nesting software.But the nesting software unfits for the domestic actual circumstances , and is complex to use , and is expensive , and is not to be interfaced with the auto cutting machine. Therefore , we have developed the economic nesting systems that are easier for novice to use and fit for the domestic circumstances, which can synchronize with the development of the auto cutting machine. The system comprises interrelated modules for materials information, nesting simulation, utility. The architecture of system, the function of each module, and the information processing proceduresof each function are discussed.

Lecture Evaluation system is an only way, so far, to evaluate the quality of lectures in our university and yet has several problems. This system does not have any effects on professors; however, it is rather used to threaten assistant professors and/or part-time/full-time lecturers. As a result, students are still dissatisfied with the unchanging lectures of professors. Generally speaking, We should consider new ideas to introduce a head teacher system or improve the lecture evaluation system to open doors wider for teachers, professors do their best to expand students' understanding by practicing the Lecture Evaluation System. In fact, it is hard to keep the objectiveness that the professors estimate the quality of professors. That is why this check list should be restricted only as a guideline among the system. After all, it is expected to bring better educational circumstances when the system functions properly to provide professors to research more.

In the circumstances we want to deal with, a transmission channel is limited and a global motion can happen by camera movement, and also there exists a region-of-interest(ROI) which is more important than background. So very low bit rate coding algorithm is required and processing of global motion must be considered. Also ROI must be reconstructed with required quality after decoding because of its importance. But the existing methods such as H.261, H.263 can not reconstruct ROIs with high quality because they do not consider the fact that ROIs are more important than background. So a new coding scheme is proposed that describes a method for encoding image sequences distinguishing bits between ROI and background. Experimental results show that the suggested algorithm performs well especially in the circumstances where background changes and the area of ROI is small enough compared with that of background.

An efficient mobility management for mobile stations plays an important role in mobile communication network. This paper studies the mobility management scheme that combines a distance-based registration(DBR) and a selective paging (SP). We introduce an analytical model based on 2-dimensional random walk mobility model and evaluate the performance of the proposed mobility management scheme using the model to determine the optimal size of location area that results in the minimum signaling traffic on radio channels. Numerical results are provided to demonstrate the performance of the proposed mobility management scheme under various circumstances. These results can be used effectively in design and evaluation of registration methods considering the system circumstances.
