Quality circle activities as an important part of TQM have greatly contributed to the development of Japanese industry. Recently, however, there are severe criticisms about quality circle activities in Japan. Quality circle activities must be reformed in accordance with new world-wide industrial circumstances. In this respect, several Japanese companies are trying to change the method for implementing their circle activities. In this case study, I have investigated one of these movements which occurs in several Japanese companies. It allows us to gain an insight into the way we might go here in Korea.

In this paper, we presented geometric CAD watermarking scheme for Architectural design drawings using line, arc, and circle components to prevent infringement of copyright from unlawfulness reproductions and distribution. The conventional CAD watermarking scheme can be applied to both line and arc components. But the proposed scheme consists of line, arc and circle watermarking schemes for three basic components of CAD design. After extracting line, arc and circle components from designed drawing, the watermark is embedded into the length of Line component, the angle of arc component, and the radius of circle component considering the robustness against various geometric transformations. The embedding strengths in each component are determined to be preserving the transparency of the watermark. By experimental result, we confirmed the robustness and the invisibility of embedded watermarks in several conversions of architectural design drawing.

In order to design accurately plastic board drain (PBB) method, it is important to determine the equivalent circle of PBD. In this paper, a series of numerical analyses on soft ground improved by PBD were carried out, in order to investigate the resonable equivalent circle of PBD considering consolidation behavior of improved soft ground by PBD. The applicability of numerical analyses, in which an elasto-viscoplastic three-dimensional consolidation finite element method was applied, could be confirmed comparing with results of a series of model tests on consolidation behaviors of soft ground improved by PBD. And, through the results of the numerical analyses, consolidation behaviors of soft ground during consolidation was elucidated, together with the equivalent circle of PBD considering consolidation behaviors.

The aim of this study lies in seeking the desirable countermeasure for the QC Circle Activities in Stagnation, through the componative study of QC Circle Activities in the companies of the two nations Korea and Japan. This study will be treated in the various aspects, for example, the motives of the initation of QC Circle, aim of the activities, themes of QC meeting, meeting time, the extent of support of superior of staff, over times payment, the cause of mactivity, etc. And according to the data and experience, the reasonable way of QC Circle Activities will be suggested.

With the expansion of Internet, a variety of image databases are widely used and it is needed to select the part of an image what he wants. In contents-based image retrieval system, Zernikie moment and ART Descriptors are used fur shape descriptors in MPEC-7. This paper presents a fast computation method to determine the radius of a bounding circle that encloses an object in a binary image. With conventional methods, the whole area of the image should be scanned first and the distance from every pixel to the center point be computed. The proposed 4-directional scan method and fast circle-drawing algorithm is utilized to minimize the scanning area and reduce the number of operations fur computing the distance. Experimental results show that proposed method saves the computation time to determine the radius of a bounding circle efficiently.

The current risk assessment system do not reflect workers' various opinion. However, the worker actually are in the center of work field and are exposed to accidents. In this regard, this study suggests enhanced risk assessment by 'safety circle discussion' on workers' hand. The self-administered surveys on supervisors and workers were done for the effect analysis of the safety circle discussion. According to the question investigation, even though the current risk assessment causes difficulties in preventing accidents by unsafe behaviors, the worker-oriented safety circle discussion establishing measures for risk factors of each work type will be able to prevent accidents more effectively. Also, it can positively contribute to safety health awareness, industrial accident prevention, accurate recognition on risk factors, improving safety facilities/work conditions, workers' compliance to safety health rules. Lastly, most respondents agreed that it is necessary to form organic relationship through circle discussion and deriving safety inspections that workers participate.

The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between the reading circle management with college students and the participation program in the reading camp. The results show that the participation program in reading camp helps the activation on reading circle. The college students'activity on reading camp increases reading activity because students can work with the graduates and get the graduates'reading activity experience. Also, the activity on reading camp encourages reading circle members to work so that they continue their activity after graduation. Students on reading circle usually work hard during semester but during closing of college, they seldom work. The participation program in reading camp, however, can bridge over the gap during the vacation.

From the experimental study of W-EDM for alloyed steel, the characteristics such as Hand Drum Form and surface roughness have been observed and evaluated for various conditions. In square hole, the increase of If as to made condition the calculate high value of surface roughness. Also compare dimensionless square hole with circle hole' graph. In circle hole, if a value of surface roughness IP 6 in a side of circle it show a 0.4${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ and in IP 8, 0.6${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, in IP 10, 0.7${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, in IP 12. 0.8${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ higher than before. This figure show the surface roughness is higher than before, because a table move in either X-axis or Y-axis in square hole, on the contrary, in circle there table move in X-axis and Y-axis at the same time. hand drum form getting small when wire tension increase 1000gf to 1500gf, at the same working conditions. the smaller of off time, the mailer of hand drum form in same condition and same wire tension. but if you compare square hole with circle hole' graph hand drum form displayed in maintained term of working condision, on the contrary, in case of square hole variation of hand drum form is more increase than a grow of IP

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to introduce the improving attorney system. It was confirmed by document writing that the staff in the field in Korea had the most difficulty in the Quality circle activities. The reform improving attorney is a quality expert at the Quality Secretariat and assists them in their documentation. Methods: Just as a patent attorney helps to get a patent, an improving attorney system helps document the improvement results of the field Quality circle and even standardizes the company. The process of introducing an improving attorney includes the declaration of an improving attorney are 11 levels of work. Results: An improving attorney was conducted in 600 organizations for 18 months. As a result of the comparison of the number of cases before and after the introduction of the improving attorney, the number of solution problem was lowered to 9 before 2016 and 8 in 2017, but after the introduction, it increased exponentially to 181 in 2018 and 162 in August 2019. In 2016 and 2017, only one standard was registered, but 64 standards were registered in 2018 and 71 in 2019. Conclusion: In this case, the improving attorney system was found to be helpful in activating the Quality circle. It is expected to revitalize Korea's Quality circle by spreading the improving attorney system to many companies.
