미취학 자녀를 둔 취업모의 경제활동 중단 의향 (Intentions of Employed Mothers with Young Children to Leave the Labor Force)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the contexts in which employed mothers with young children consider leaving the labor force. We used a mixed methods design, which integrates the findings of quantitative and qualitative analyses, to better understand the dynamics underlying employed mothers' intentions to leave the labor force. The participants of both quantitative (N = 324) and qualitative (N = 16) data were married mothers who were employed full-time and had at least one child younger than elementary-school age at the time of data collection. Both the quantitative analysis of logistic regression and the qualitative thematic analysis revealed that the child's age, the husband's income, the utilization of child care by relatives, the mother's job involvement, family-to-work role conflict, and other costs and rewards of participation in the work force were the important contexts where employed mothers considered leaving the labor force. The quantitative analysis uniquely found that being employed at a workplace with flexible work hours were associated with lower odds of considering exit from the labor market. The qualitative analysis highlighted that the decision to leave the labor force or to stay in it is a complicated issue that almost all employed mothers potentially face at some point in their careers. These findings suggest that policy support is warranted to help employed mothers with young children remain in the workforce when they wish to.

영.유아를 위한 영어 에듀테인먼트 애니메이션 고찰 (Study of English Edutainment Animation for Preschoolers)

  • 오늘날의 세계화 도래와 함께 국제적, 사회적으로 영어의 필요성은 더욱 중요해지고 있으며 이를 체감하며 자란 7, 80년대생이 자녀를 가지기 시작하면서 영어 조기교육 열풍이 점점 확산 되고 있다. 이는 최근 자녀수가 감소함에 따라 자녀의 환경과 교육에 아낌없이 투자하려는 심리와 맞물려 부모들의 영어조기교육에 대한 기대가 더욱 높아졌다. 이러한 사회적인 필요에 의해 초등학교 교육과정까지 영어교육을 도입한 공교육을 선두로 조기에 영어교육을 시작하는 것이 효율적이라는 학자들의 주장이 힘을 입어 그 대상을 영 유아까지 포함하게 된것이다. 이처럼 어린 연령대의 아이들을 위한 영어조기교육의 경우, 긍정적인 결과를 가지고 올 수도 있지만, 부정적인 영향을 가지고 올 수 있어도 체계적인 연구를 통한 교육지침의 설립이 시급하다. 본 논문에서는 언어습득의 이론적 배경들을 설명하여 영 유아의 조기언어교육 타당성을 제시하고 에듀테인먼트 애니메이션의 교육적인 효과를 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위해 현재 유통되고 있는 2 ~7세의 유아들을 대상으로 하는 DVD 타이틀 가운데 이미 베스트셀러로 인정받고 있는 영어교육용 에듀테인먼트 애니메이션들을 유형별로 묶어 비교해보았다. 더 나아가 여러 유형 중 참여 유도형 에듀테인먼트 애니메이션의 캐릭터 분석 및 진행형식, 효과적인 학습을 위해 선택된 스토리텔링 구성 등을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 유아의 영어교육용 엔터테인먼트 애니메이션에는 어떤 유형이 있는지 비교해보고 분석하여 언어교육을 목적으로 하는 타이틀을 유아들의 수준과 연령에 맞게 제작하기 위해서는 어떠한 장치가 있어야 하는지에 대한 기본적인 틀을 제시하는 데 있다.

유아교육기관 교사들의 구강보건교육 실태에 관한 연구 (The actual condition of oral health education in children education institute teacher)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to improve the oral health knowledge in children education institute teacher. Methods : Data were selected by convenience sampling method. A self-administered questionnaire was filled out by the children education institute teachers. Frequency analysis and $x^2$ test were used to analyze the actual condition of oral health education and utilizing media contents. Pearson's Results : 1. The teachers received the oral health education (94.3%) twice to five times. 2. There was a difference between position and career of teacher in implementing oral health education. 3. Most of the oral health education were done by the dentists. Tooth brushing method was the most common education contents. Skill demonstration was the most common teaching method. 4. There was a positive correlation between experience and implementation of oral health education. 5. Use of education media accounted for 74.1% in oral health education. The number of media was more than two to five. 6. Self-devised media contents were the most commonly used in oral health education. Visual materials, dentiform and tooth brush were the most common contents in oral health education. Conclusions : It is necessary to develop the systematic and repetitive oral health education curriculum for the children education institute teachers. The dissemination of media for oral care is needed for oral health care knowledge acquisition.

간호직을 선택한 자녀를 둔 간호사 어머니의 경험 (Intergeneration Occupational Mobility Experience of Nurses: Focus on Mother's Experience)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze how the experiences of nurses influence their role model function when they are mothers of children who in turn have become nurses or nursing students. Method: The subjects of this study were 12 nurses, 8 of their children who became nurses and another 4 children then in training to become one. Data were collected through in-depth personal interviews and subsequently analyzed through a phenomenological approach. Results: Four main themes were identified as follows; 'Persuasion and dissuasion,' 'Proud but still pathetic,' 'As mom and senior nurse' and 'Great to pass it down.' Conclusion: The results of this study show that the nurse as mother could be a positive professional role model for her children. However, they tended to stress the arduous clinical routines and poor work conditions nurses currently experience. Should such routines and conditions improve, mothers who are nurses would be more willing to recommend the nursing profession to their children. Improving the professional environment is thus important because intergeneration nursing mobility provides a reliable resource to recruit qualified and dedicated nursing personnel.

초등영재 담당교사의 개인변인에 따른 영재교육 전문성 비교 분석 (Comparative Analysis of Elementary Teachers' Professionalism in Gifted Education According to Their Personal Variables)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 초등과학영재를 담당하는 영재교사의 개인변인에 따른 영재교육 전문성의 차이를 비교 분석하는 것이다. 교사의 개인변인은 성별, 근무지역, 교육경력, 영재교사경력, 최종학력, 영재교육 직무연수의 정도로 설정하였다. 연구대상은 인천과 경기지역에서 초등과학영재를 지도하는 영재교사 98명이며, 영재교육 전문성을 측정하기 위한 검사 도구는 최남구(2011)가 개발한 것을 토대로 사용하였다. 영재교육 전문성의 하위 영역은 '철학적 이해와 사명감', '전문적 자질', '인성적 자질'이며, 전문적 자질은 다시 3개의 영역으로 나누어져 있다. 개인변인에 따른 영재교육 전문성에 대한 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 성별에서는 전문적 자질에서 남교사의 평균이 여교사의 평균보다 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다. 근무지역에 따른 영재교사의 영재교육 전문성에서는 지역간에 차이가 있었지만, 하위 영역에 따라 서로 다른 결과를 보였으며, 교육경력에 따른 영재교사의 영재교육 전문성은 차이를 보이지 않았다. 영재교육경력에서는 경력이 3년 이상은 되어야 전문성이 유의하게 높아졌으며, 최종학력이 높을수록 전문적 자질과 인성적 자질에서 유의하게 전문성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 영재교육과 관련된 연수를 이수한 정도에 따른 영재교사의 영재교육 전문성은 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았지만, 연수를 경험한 횟수가 많을수록 평균은 높았다. 전체적으로 영재교육 전문성의 하위 영역인 '철학적 이해와 사명감'과 '인성적 자질'은 본 연구에서 분석한 교사의 개인변인에 큰 영향을 받지 않았다.

국내 백화점의 패션매장 구성과 브랜드 전개현황 분석 (A Study on The Conditions of The Department Stores in Seoul -Emphasis on the Layout of the Fashion Zone and Brands-)

  • This study analyzed the trends of fashion market in 15 branch stores of 3 major department stores in Seoul. The purposes of this study were to classify fashion zone and brands in each floor of the department stores, and to analyze the rate which a fashion brand was located department store. The results were as follows : 1. There were sundry goods on main floor, women\`s clothings on 2-4th floor, sports & golf wears and infants & children\`s clothings from 6th floor to the top in most department stores. 2. Lotte Chamshil branch had the largest number of fashion brands in it, the nest was Lotte Main store and followed by Hyundai Chunhoe branch, Shinsegae Gangnam branch, Hunndai Shinchun branch, Lotte Gangnam branch, Hyundai Main store, Hyundai Muyeuk-Center branch, and Lotte Youngdeungpo branch, etc. 3. The fashion categories of the Lotte Department stores were segmented as the Casuals (character, young, young basic, career, town, jean, city), Young worlds, Imported beautique, Madams, Designers(beautique), Intelligences, Unisex, Ladies formal wears, the Seasonables, and the Formals, Missy Careers. This was the most various fashion market segments among 3 major department stores. This store had 667 Women\`s fashion and Casual brands. The Chamshil branch and Main store were intensified the Casual & sundry goods on 5th floor. 4. The fashion categories of the Hundai Department stores were segmented as Women\`s wears, Women\`s casuals, Young-Adult, Young live, Women\`s former wears, Royal beautique and Young characters. It was less segmented than other Department stores. Total number of Women\`s fashion and casual brands were 471 brands. The market segmentation of fashion zone was well done at Chunho branch and Shinchun branch. It was intensified that Fashion sundry goods at Muyeuk-Center branch and The Women and Young fashion zone at Chunho branch. 5. The fashion categories of the Shinsaegae Department stores were segmented as Casuals (young, young character, X-, missy, career, character), Imported beautique, Designer\`s characters, Young basics, Elegance, Missy, Young weave, Original brands. This store had 304 Women\`s fashion and Casual brands. Shinsaegae has also developed it\`s own brand(PB items) and classified as the Original zone which differentiated it from other Departments. 6. The Deco was the most popular brand in the department stores, the next were Micha/Botticelli, and followed by Darks/System/lzzat Baba, Givy/Obzee/Lee won jae/Kim yeon Joo, and so on. The target of 6 out of 10 brands which were included in here were career women of age 20 to 30 ages. The price rate were from 200,000 won to 300,000 won.

뇌교육 기반 진로캠프 프로그램이 아동·청소년의 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Brain Education Based on Career Camp Program for Child ·adolescent's Career Maturity)

  • 본 연구는 뇌교육 기반 진로캠프 프로그램을 개발하고 적용함으로써 두뇌 특성을 파악하여 아동 및 청소년의 흥미 및 적성을 제대로 이해하는 것은 물론, 진로성숙도를 함양하는데 그 연구의 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 초등학생 59명, 중학생 76명 등 135명을 대상으로 2016년 6월 4일부터 5일까지 1박 2일 동안 뇌교육 기반 진로캠프 프로그램을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결론을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 뇌교육 기반 진로캠프 프로그램은 단순한 진로 탐색 및 체험 위주의 프로그램이 아니라, 진로성숙도와 같이 직업의식을 함양하기 때문에, 아동 및 청소년의 건전한 직업관을 형성하는데 효과적이다. 둘째, 뇌교육 기반 진로캠프 프로그램을 통해서 아동 및 청소년 자신의 흥미 및 적성에 적합한 맞춤형 진로를 탐색하는 것은 물론, 진로역량을 개발할 수 있다. 본 연구에 대한 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 하면 다음과 같이 정리할 수 있다. 첫째, 본 연구에서 개발한 뇌교육 기반 진로캠프 프로그램은 초등학생과 중학생의 특성을 고려하지 않고 동일한 프로그램을 적용하였기 때문에, 학교급별 특성을 반영한 프로그램을 개발할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 뇌교육 기반 진로캠프 프로그램의 효과성을 검증하기 위해서 진로성숙도 외에 다양한 진로 관련 변인들을 종속변인으로 설정하여 계속적인 후속연구가 필요하다.

The Effects of Demographic Factors on Fashion Orientation, Fashion Response, and Buying Criteria(paper no.1)

  • This study is designed to identify how Demographic Factors affect Fashion Orientation(value), Fashion Response, and Buying Criteria. A total of 355 usable data was collected from housewives in three metropolitan cities(Seoul, Daejeon, Sungnam) in Korea. Young housewives who have one child are a market segment whose buying power is recognized by both the retailers and the market. The housewives' fashion orientation consists of four categories : social orientation, practical orientation, political orientation, and aesthetic orientation. The housewives' fashion response is classified into three areas : self conscious, self esteem, and self monitoring. The criteria of buying children's wear consists of nine components. As a result, the key reason for buying children' wear was 'attractive design'. Research result showed that POLITICAL ORIENTATION(SE beta=.229, p<.001) was more effective than AESTHETICS ORIENTATION(SE beta=.203, p<.001), for enhancing SELF-CONSCIOUS RESPONSE and SELF-ESTEEM RESPONSE. Therefore, this study suggests that the key factor for understanding trend can be a human self concept, consciousness, values, and orientation. The housewives' fashion orientation is responsible for 18.7% of BRAND ROYALTY(F = 20.172, p<.001) from among nine buying criteria. More poignantly, POLITICAL ORIENTATION covered 66.9% of selection of BRAND ROYALTY, and it explained 34.6% of selection of DESIGN among nine buying criteria. Thus, it showed that POLITICAL ORIENTATION(SE beta=.331, p<.001) is more effective than SOCIAL ORIENTATION(SE beta=.146), for upgrading BRAND ROYALTY. In addition, it showed that POLITICAL ORIENTATION(SE beta=.238, p<.001) is more effective than AESTHETICS ORIENTATION(SE beta=.040) for upgrading DESIGN evaluation. Housewives' fashion orientation, and fashion response are differentiated by demographic factors, such as occupation, women's career, husband' job, income, and location related to social status.

최근 족보에 나타난 여성지위의 분석적 연구 (An Analysis of the Women's Status Shown in the Family Pedigrees Recently Published)

  • This study has the purpose to aid that there will be a desirable household and social life analyzing the content in examples of the distinction between the sexes based on the family pedigrees published since 1980 year in Korea. 142 family pedigrees in Suncheon National University Library, National Central Library in Seoul and Cheon II Library in Kwangju as study data were used. Characters of the analyzing subject were born since 1940 year, who are still in existence possibly. The results of this study are as followings; 1) In the records of man and wife (1) The case which man's name was registered in detail and wife's name was not registered is 62.0% and more than a half. (2) The case which wife's schooling, career and occupation were not registered is 97.9%. 2) In the records of the relation between parents and children. (1) The case which only parents were registered in the ancestors of maternal line is 76.7%. (2) The case which foster sons were registered although the e were daughters is 15.5%, which is remarkable portions. 3) In the records of the relation of children (1) The case which the register orders were sons first and daughter later, not birth order is almost all 97.2% and the case which daughters were not registered is 2.1%. (2) The case which the married daughters names with sons-in-law were registered is 40.2%, whereas the case which only the names of sons-in-law were registered without daughters names is 56.3% and more than a half. (3) The case which grandsons in the daughter's line were registered only one case. In the above analysis results of Korean family pedigrees, the distinction ciousness to the wife and daughters as female among family members has been deeply conventionalized institutionally or conceptually.

유치원 안전교육에 관한 조사 연구 (Study on Research for the Safety Education in Kindergarten)

  • The purpose of this study was to the real situation of the safety education in the kindergarten by investigating the actual condition of the safety education and kindergarten teachers' knowledge about it. Questionnaire was adopted to obtain data required for pertinent analysis. The subjects were 234 kindergarten teachers located in Choongnam and Daejeon province. SPSSWIN v10.0 was utilized to calculate percentage, mean and standard deviation and to conduct t-test, one-way ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test. The main results of this study were as follows. There was a significant difference between the actual condition of the safety education and kindergarten teachers' knowledge about it according to demographic variables. Especially, these differences were due to teachers' academic career, age, teaching experience, and the experience of bringing up children by themselves. The importance of the safety education must be emphasized. There were urgent needs to develop the way of teaching and the program about the safety education.
