중국 기혼여성의 자녀양육기 발달과업과 둘째 출산의향: 부모역할 적응, 양육분담, 부부적응을 중심으로 (Developmental Tasks During the Childrearing Stage and Second Birth Intentions among Chinese Married Women: Parenting Adaptation, Division of Childcare, and Marital Adjustment)

  • Although the globally known one-child policy in China was abolished in 2016, the overall fertility rate in the country declined to 1.3 in 2020. In this study, we examined whether the achievement of major developmental tasks during the childrearing stage was associated with intentions to have a second child among Chinese married women. Based on family development theory, we included parenting adaptation, division of childcare responsibilities with the partner, and marital adjustment as key developmental tasks during the childrearing stage. The participants of this study were 315 married Chinese women who lived with a spouse and a child who had not yet entered elementary school. Data were collected through an online survey in February and March 2021. A multiple regression analysis of the data revealed that a lower level of economic parenting stress, a higher level of fairness in dividing childcare responsibilities with the partner, and a more positive change in their marital relationship after having the first child were associated with greater intentions to have a second child.

어린이집 교사의 직무 스트레스와 효능감이 교사 행동의 질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Teachers' Job Stress and Belief of Efficacy on the Quality of Teachers' Interaction Behaviors in Child Care)

  • Data were collected from 120 teachers at 67 childcare centers in Seoul and Kyunggi-Do. The Assessment Scale for Day Care Programs(Rhee et ai., 2003) was used to observe teachers' interaction behaviors. Subjects responded to the teachers' job stress scale developed by the author and a modified version of teachers' efficacy scale based on the Science Teaching Efficacy Belief Instrument(Enochs & Riggs, 1990). Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson correlations, and hierarchical regressions. Results showed that quality of teachers' interaction behaviors correlated negatively with teachers' job stress, and positively with teachers' personal efficacy; teachers' belief of efficacy moderated the relationship between job stress and teachers' interaction behaviors.

영아기 부모 양육스트레스에 대한 양육효능감의 자기효과와 상대방 효과에 대한 단기종단연구 (A Short-term Longitudinal Study on the Actor and Partner Effect of Parenting Efficacy on the Parenting Stress of Parents with Infants)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of parenting efficacy measured at 6 months of infancy, and on parenting stress at 9-months of infancy through a short-term longitudinal approach. Participants were 116 couples living in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, whose first born children were in infancy. The results of the 116 couples were analyzed through the APIM analysis method. The results of the APIM showed that mothers' and fathers' actor effect was significant, which meant that parenting efficacy at 6 months of infancy could predict the existence of parenting stress at 9 months of infancy. However, the partner effect of both mothers and fathers was insignificant. This research demonstrates the significance of parenting efficacy at early infancy, which in turn affects parenting stress as well as factors that need to be considered in pre-parental education.

체계적 영유아 부모교육 프로그램(Early Childhood STEP)이 양육스트레스와 유아행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Early Childhood STEP on Parenting Stress and Infant Behavior)

  • The study aimed to determine the effects of Early Childhood STEP on parenting stress and child's behavior. The study subjects were 29 Korean mothers and their child. The researcher translated the Parent's guide of the Early Childhood STEP into Korean, along with the video tapes for parents. The experimental group was educated with the Early Childhood STEP program (lecture, reading educational material, discussion, watching video). To determine the pre- and post-test differences of parenting stress and infant behavior, t-test was used. The results are presented below. First, Early Childhood STEP exhibited a decreasing effect on the parenting stress of mothers. Second, STEP exhibited a decreasing effect on the infant behavior, particularly the behaviors in the areas of incapability, revenge, and power reactions.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of mother's neuroticism and parenting stress, and young children's stress on internal and external problem behaviors. The participants of this study consisted of 236 mothers, who had children aged 5-7 in Chungbuk area. Mothers responded to questionnaires and data analyzed using SPSS program(version 12.0) and AMOS program(version 5.0). The results of this study were as follows.: First, a mother's neuroticism, parenting stress, and young children's stress directly influenced on young children's internalizing problem behaviors. The effect of mother's neuroticism on young children's internalizing problem behaviors was mediated by mother's parenting stress and young children's stress. Second, mother's parenting stress influenced young children's externalizing problem behaviors directly, but mother's neuroticism and young children's stress did not. The effect of mother's neuroticism on young children's externalizing problem behaviors was mediated by parenting stress.

어린이집 유형에 따른 보육교사의 이직의도에 관한 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Turnover Intention of Teacher by Child Care Center's Types)

  • 본 연구는 대전, 세종, 충 남북 지역의 어린이집에서 근무하는 보육교사 375명을 조사대상자로 하여 그들의 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 어린이집은 가정, 민간, 공공형, 법인 등의 4개 유형으로 나누어 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보육교사의 이직의도 수준은 4개의 모든 집단에서 보통수준보다 높았으며, 집단별로 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인은 각 집단별로 다른 것으로 나타났다. 가정과 민간어린이집 보육교사는 직무스트레스의 영유아관리, 조직건강의 원장 리더십 영역으로 나타났다. 공공형 어린이집 보육교사는 직무스트레스의 행정업무, 조직건강의 원장 리더십 영역으로 나타났으며, 법인형태 어린이집 보육교사는 직무스트레스의 동료 및 학부모와의 관계, 조직건강의 교사능력 영역으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과에 기초하여 어린이집 유형에 따른 보육교사의 이직의도를 감소할 수 있는 집단별 맞춤형 방안을 처음으로 제시했다는 점에서 본 연구의 의의가 있다.

영아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육지식, 양육스트레스, 양육행동간의 종단적 관계 (The Longitudinal Relationship between Parenting Knowledge, Parenting Stress, and Parenting Behavior of Mothers with Infants)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the causal relationship between parenting knowledge, parenting stress, and parenting behavior of mothers with infants and to confirm the longitudinal mediating effect of parenting stress in the relationship between parenting knowledge and parenting behavior. Methods: This study used data collected through the Panel Study on Korean Children from 2008 to 2010 and the participants were 1,444 mothers with infants. The data were analyzed through technical statistics, correlations and multivariate potential growth models using SPSS 28.0 and AMOS 26.0. Results: Parenting knowledge and parenting stress of mothers gradually increased, and positive parenting behavior gradually decreased. Having a lot of parenting knowledge reduced mother's parenting stress. Mother's parenting stress reduced positive parenting behavior, and as parenting stress increased, positive parenting behavior decreased significantly. However, the relationship between parenting knowledge and parenting behavior was not significant. In addition, the mediating effect of parenting stress was confirmed in the relationship between parenting knowledge and parenting behavior of mothers. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this study suggest the need to reduce parenting stress and promote positive parenting behavior along with the systematization of parent education programs in order for mothers with infants to acquire parenting knowledge.

자녀양육 스트레스 및 아버지 교육 프로그램에 대한 요구도 - 영유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지를 대상으로 - (Parenting Stress and Requests for Father Education Program - Fathers with Infants and Preschool Children -)

  • This study investigated parenting stress and requests for parent education by fathers with infants and preschool children. Subjects were 220 fathers. Data were analyzed by factor analysis and ANOVA. Results showed that middle class fathers whose wife had a job outside the home experienced more stress. Sex of child was a significant variable. : fathers with daughters expressed more requests for a father education program for a father education program, from highest to lowest, were for methods of childcare, the development of a child, guidance for discipline in daily life, relationship with their partner, and the fathers' role.

어린이집 운영자에게 영향을 미치는 스트레스 및 소진과의 상관성 연구 -이직의도를 매개효과로 한- (A study on the Correlation between Stress and Burnout Affecting Child Care Center Directors -Focusing on the Mediating Effect of turnover Intention-)

  • 본 연구는 보육 및 운영과정에서 어린이집 운영자의 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 스트레스와 소진 간의 관계를 파악하고, 어린이집 운영자의 스트레스와 이직의도 간의 관계에서 소진의 역할에 대해 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어린이집 운영자가 받는 스트레스가 높을수록 소진이 높아졌다. 특히 스트레스 중에서도 운영자는 교직원 관리와 행정 및 재정관리에 대한 스트레스가 높을수록 소진이 높아지는 것을 확인하였다. 둘째, 어린이집 운영자의 소진이 높을수록 이직의도가 높아졌다. 셋째, 어린이집 운영자의 스트레스가 높아진다고 해서 바로 이직의도가 높아지는 것은 아님을 확인하였다. 넷째, 본 연구에서 제시한 매개효과를 검증한 결과 스트레스와 이직의도 간의 관계에서 소진은 매개효과를 가진다고 할 수 있으며, 스트레스가 이직의도에 미치는 직접효과가 유의하지 않으므로 이 매개효과는 완전매개라고 할 수 있다. 결론적으로 어린이집 운영자의 이직의도 가장 중요시 되는 스트레스 관리를 위해서는 무엇보다도 직무에 대한 소진이 일어나지 않게 하는 것이 중요한 사안임을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 어린이집 운영자의 이직의도에 있어서 스트레스와 소진은 유의미한 상관성을 가진다고 활 수 있다.

유아의 자부심과 수치심이 또래놀이행동에 미치는 영향: 일상적 스트레스의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Effects of Pride and Shame on Interactive Peer Play of Young Children: Focusing on the Mediating Effects of Their Daily Stress)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of children's pride and shame on their interactive peer play, mediated by their daily stress. Methods: The participants of this study were 172 five-year-old children (80 boys and 92 girls) attending kindergartens or child-care centers in Chungbuk, Korea. The data were analyzed by descriptive and correlational analyses, and structural equation modeling using SPSS 19.0 and AMOS 21.0. Results: Children's shame had a significant indirect effect on their interactive peer play, including play-disruption, play-disconnection and play-interactions, mediated by daily stress; children's shame had a significant direct effect on play interaction. However, children's pride did not have a direct effect on daily stress and an indirect effect on their interactive peer play. In other words, high levels of shame among children led to high perceived daily stress. In turn, perceived daily stress increased play-disconnection and play-disruption, while it decreased play-interactions. Meanwhile children's shame led to a low level of play-interaction among young children. Conclusion/Implications: The results imply that children's perceived shame would influence their behaviors in social contexts as well as their psychological wellbeing such as the level of daily stress.
