서울.경기지역 보육시설 및 유치원 대상 어린이급식관리지원센터 지원 요구도 분석 (Child-Care Facility and Kindergarten's Demands on Foodservice Support by Center for Child-Care Foodservice Management (CCFSM) in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences between child-care facilities and kindergartens towards the need for foodservice support by Center for Child-Care Foodservice Management (CCFSM). For this study, questionnaires were sent out from August of 2008 to April of 2009 to directors of 1,478 child care facilities and 299 kindergartens in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do via postal service. A total of 267 questionnaires were usable with 203 (13.7%) of child-care facilities and 64 (21.4%) of kindergartens. Statistical data were analyzed by SPSS 15.0 for descriptive analysis and t-test. For political and administrative support, government funding for foodservice was the highest need and hiring nutritionists was significantly different by type of facility (p < 0.01). Both child-care facilities (4.29) and kindergartens (4.41) demanded the balanced menu from CCFSM. There were significant differences of "information about food material sanitation management" (p < 0.05), "hygiene safety management method according to working process" (p < 0.05), "hygiene safety management method of foodservice facilities and equipment" (p < 0.05). In education and training contents from center, "types and methods to manage foodservice facilities and equipment" for directors, "dietary education by age" for teachers, and "the rules of personal sanitation and working process" and "gas, electricity and fire prevention" for culinary workers had the highest mean score of requirements.

지역아동센터 이용 어린이의 비만관리의 한계점과 모바일폰의 잠재적인 활용 가능성: 어린이와 보호자 대상의 질적 연구 (Current Barriers of Obesity Management of Children Using Community Child Care Centers and Potential Possibility of Utilizing Mobile Phones: A Qualitative Study for Children and Caregivers)

  • Objectives: This study was performed to identify the current barriers of obesity management for children using Community Child Care Centers and their caregivers (parents and teachers working in the Centers). Further, this study explored the possibility of utilizing a mobile phone application for tailored obesity prevention and management programs to overcome the current difficulties associated with children's obesity management. Methods: The qualitative data were collected through in-depth interviews with 20 obese and overweight children or children who wanted to participate in this study using Community Child Care Centers, 12 teachers working at the Centers, and a focus group interview with five parents of children using the Centers. Data were analyzed with a thematic approach categorizing themes and sub-themes based on the transcripts. Results: The current barriers of obesity management of obese and overweight children using Community Child Care Centers were lack of self-directed motivation regarding obesity management (chronic obesity-induced lifestyles and reduced self-confidence due to stigma) and lack of support from households and Community Child Care Centers (latchkey child, inconsistency in dietary guidance between the Center and household, repetitive pressure to eat, and absence of regular nutrition education). Mobile phone applications may have potential to overcome the current barriers by providing handy and interesting obesity management based on visual media (real-time tracking of lifestyles using behavior records and social support using gamification), environmental support (supplementation of parental care and network-based education between the Community Child Care Center and household), and individualized intervention (encouragement of tailored and gradual changes in eating habits and tailored goal setting). It is predicted that the real-time mobile phone program will provide information for improving nutritional knowledge and behavioral skills as well as lead to sustainable children's coping strategies regarding obesity management. In addition, it is expected that environmental factors may be improved by network-based education between the Community Child Care Centers and households using the characteristics of mobile phones, which are free from space and time constraints. Conclusions: The tailored education program for children using Community Child Care Centers based on mobile phones may prevent and reduce childhood obesity by overcoming the current barriers of obesity management for children, providing environmental and individualized support to promote healthy lifestyles and quality of life in the future.

보육교사의 개인변인, 회복탄력성, 사회적 지지의 관계 (The Relationship among Child Care Teachers' Personal Characteristics, Resilience and Social Support)

  • 본 연구는 보육교사의 개인변인, 회복탄력성, 사회적 지지의 관계를 규명하기 위해 실시되었다. 강원지역 어린이집에 재직 중인 154명의 보육교사를 대상으로 조사를 수행하였고, 회복탄력성 질문지(이정현, 2013)와 사회적 지지 설문지(이재영, 2012)를 사용하였다. 결과 처리를 위해 빈도분석, 신뢰도 검증, t-검증, ANOVA, Scheff$\acute{e}$의 사후검증, Pearson의 적률상관분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 보육교사의 경력, 연령, 기관유형, 결혼유무에 따른 회복탄력성의 하위변인과 전체에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 즉 7년 이상의 경력교사가 3년 이하와 4-6년 경력교사 보다 회복탄력성 전체와 긍정성을 유의하게 높게 경험하였다. 25세 이하 교사 보다 46세 이상 교사가 회복탄력성 전체를 유의하게 높게 형성하였고, 자기조절능력은 25세 이하 교사 보다 41-45세 교사가, 긍정성은 41-45세와 46세 이상 교사가 25세 이하의 경우 보다 각각 유의하게 높게 형성하였다. 가정어린이집 교사가 법인어린이집 교사에 비해 회복탄력성 전체와 긍정성을 높게 형성하였고, 기혼 집단이 미혼 집단 보다 회복탄력성 전체, 자기조절능력, 긍정성을 높게 형성하였다. 반면 학력에서는 집단 간 유의차가 없었다. 둘째, 보육교사의 사회적 지지와 회복탄력성 간의 관계는 각 하위변인 및 전체 간 모두 정적으로 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 셋째, 사회적 지지가 보육교사의 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향을 보면, 물질적 지지는 긍정성과 회복탄력성 전체에 유의한 정적 영향을 주었고, 평가적 지지는 자기조절능력과 대인관계능력, 긍정성, 회복탄력성 전체에 유의한 정적 영향력을 주었다. 연구결과 보육교사의 회복탄력성을 향상시키기 위해 다양한 사회적 지지를 강화해야 함과 동시에 개인변인들을 함께 고려해야 함을 시사 받을 수 있다.

보편적 보육료 지원정책이 여성 노동공급과 출산율에 미친 영향 (The Effects of Universal Child Care Subsidy on Female Labor Supply and Fertility)

  • 본 연구는 영유아 보육료 지원정책이 보육시설공급률에 따라 노동공급과 출산율에 상이한 영향을 미쳤음을 분석하였다. 구체적으로 보육시설공급률이 높을수록 보육료 지원에 의해 보육시설 입소에 유리한 다자녀모의 경력유지 확률이 증가했을 뿐 아니라 첫째 자녀의 출산율이 높아졌고, 국공립 어린이집의 공급률이 높은 경우에는 보육비 지원 이후 둘째 자녀 출산율도 유의하게 높아졌음을 보여준다. 이는 보육료 지원정책의 효과가 출생순위에 따른 보육시설 입소 우선순위, 거주지역 보육시설의 양적, 질적 공급 정도에 따라 달라짐을 보여준다.

일본 자녀양육지원정책의 변화와 보육소의 지역사회 개방(開放) (Changes in Parenting Support Policy and Opening Day Nurseries to Local Communities in Japan)

  • 본 연구에서는 일본 자녀양육지원정책의 변화와 더불어 지역사회 내 자녀양육지원 거점으로서 보육소의 기능 및 역할에 대하여 살펴보았다. 이를 통하여 한국 자녀양육지원정책 및 보육시설의 나아갈 방향에 대한 시사점을 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 분석 자료로 일본 내각부의 소자화사회 대책 백서, 보육소보육지침 등 국가 수준의 문헌들을 중심으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 일본 자녀양육 관련 정책은 국내외 자녀양육 환경의 변화 및 사회적 요구를 파악하여 지역사회 구성원 모두를 위한 중장기적이고 포괄적인 정책을 도입함과 동시에 자녀양육에 대한 사회적 인식 개선을 도모하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 2001년 "아동복지법" 일부 개정에 따른 보육사 자격의 법정화, 2008년 일본 보육소보육지침(보육소 보육 가이드라인)의 고시화에 따라 지역사회 내 자녀양육지원의 일환으로 가정에 근접해 있는 보육소의 역할이 대두되었으며, 지역사회의 공적 자원으로 개방되어 활용됨으로써 보육소의 사회적 책임이 명시되었다. 이를 바탕으로 한국 지역사회 내 자녀양육지원거점 기관으로서 어린이집의 역할 및 기능에 대한 재고가 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 지역사회 내 어린이집 및 부모들과 같은 실제 관계자들에 대한 목소리에 귀를 기울일 것이 요구된다. 나아가 지역사회 내 구성원 간 협력을 통하여 자녀양육에 대한 이해 및 가치를 공유하고, 그와 관련된 정보를 교환할 수 있는 공동의 장(場) 활성화를 도모하여야 한다.

영유아 교사의 의사소통능력과 교사효능감이 어린이집 조직효과성에 미치는 영향 (Study on Influence of Communication Ability and Early Childhood Teachers' Sense of Efficacy on Organizational Effectiveness of Child Care Centers)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships of early childhood teachers' communication ability, teacher efficacy, and organizational effectiveness of child care centers. The subjects of this study were 397 teachers working at child care centers. The results of this study were as follows. First, differences in the organization effectiveness of child care centers were detected according to teachers' age, career, type of child care center where they were affiliated, and marriage status. Second, the relative effects of the teachers' communication ability and teacher efficacy on the organizational effectiveness of early-childhood educational institutions differed significantly according to each sub-factor; teachers' communication ability's sub-factors - response, analysis, and evaluation - and teacher efficacy's sub-factors - general efficacy and personal efficacy - had partial effects on the organizational effectiveness of child care centers. Of these, personal efficacy had the greatest effects on all sub-factors of organizational effectiveness. This study is significant since it identifies the variables that could affect the organizational effectiveness of child care centers.

보육교사와 학령전기 아동 어머니의 아동 건강증진 교육요구 (Needs for Children's Health Promotion Education as Perceived by Child Care Center Teachers and Mothers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the needs for children's health promotion education programs as perceived by child care center teachers and mothers. Methods: This study conducted a survey of 88 child care center teachers and 70 mothers of preschool children in Seoul from January 4 to February 5, 2016. This study aimed to characterize the current conditions of health promotion education for preschool children and the needs for health promotion education as perceived by child care center teachers and mothers of preschool children. Results: Areas of high need for health promotion education included lifestyle improvements for preventing diseases in children and awareness of the importance of health in educational objectives, standardized educational manuals, health educators as educators, child care centers as educational places, local health centers as educational support organizations, regular class hours as educational time, role play for training, and actual models in the educational medium. The educational subjects for which a high need was reported included safety and accident prevention, the role of smartphones and TV watching in mental health, and personal hygiene and disease prevention. Conclusion: These findings suggest that it is necessary to develop a health promotion education program for preschool children.

기혼직장여성의 탁아실태와 직무만족도 (A Study on Child Day Care and Job Satisfaction of Married Women Employed Outside Home)

  • The purpose of this study was to obtain data on the child care support and job satisfaction of married women employed outside home. The data for this study were collected from a survey of 350 married women employed outside home who were residing in North Cholla Province. Major fimding are summarized in the following. First, many married women were pressured by the burdens child rearing(54.5%) and houshold chores(39.6%). Second, the daycare arrangements for children under age seven were diverse. Just under half of the children were cared for by the employed mother'parents(25.1%), or by the mother's parents-in law(21.1%). The rest were sent to daycare center(40.6%), cared for by a hired helper(7.6%), or sent to an industrial on- site daycare center(1.0%). Third, about half of the married employed mothers(47.5%) wished for an on-site daycare service at their workplace. Fourth, the variables that affected employed mothers job satisfaction were age, job, husband's job type, the income of the mother, the reason of the mother's employment, the degree of husband's houshold labor participation, and the type of social and employer's support for chid care.

한국의 보육지원체계 (Early Childhood Education and Care Support System in Korea)

  • 본 연구에서는 저출산 문제, 여성의 경제활동 참여 등으로 급변하고 있는 보육을 둘러싼 제반환경에서 질높은 보육을 제공하기 위한 다양한 국내외 보육지원체계에 관하여 살펴보았다. 국내에서는 어린이집 지원에 초점을 둔 보육정보센터와 부모를 위한 양육지원의 기능을 수행하고 있는 서울시의 영유아플라자(육아지원센터), 보육지원체계의 지역사회 연계 및 기타 지원체계의 현황을 분석하였다. 또한 스웨덴의 개방형 유아학교, 핀란드의 양육지원체계, 영국의 Sure Start 프로그램을 통한 보육지원체계를 중심으로 국외 동향을 살펴보고 관련 프로그램의 효과를 살펴보았다. 보육의 발전을 위해서는 지역사회를 거점으로 하여 보육지원체계의 기능을 강화하고, 각 유관 기관들 간의 연계를 마련하며, 관련 정책과 제도를 재정비함으로써 총체적이고 통합된 보육지원체계를 구축하여야 할 것이다.

보육교사의 산업재해 현황 및 사례에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Status and Cases of Occupational Accidents of Child-care Teachers)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to examine occupational safety accidents of child care teacher and to suggest preventive measure in occupational safety health and safety for child-care teacher. Methods: We investigated laws, policy, and previous studies related occupational safety and health for child care teacher. Especially, we reviewed the legal definition of child-care teacher to identify whether Occupational Safety and Health acts cover child-care teacher. Also cross tabulation and a qualitative analysis were conducted for occupational accidents in child care centers from 2013-2018. Results: Safety and health related policies to protect child care centers have been carried out by child care Center Safety and Insurance Association and the Child Care Support Center, but it has mainly been functioned to protect children excluding child care teacher. The most occupational accidents occur in worker aged 40s. The most type of occupational accident were falling down on the floor and surface. Also we could find that there is a high risk of falls, and musculoskeletal disorders through qualitative analysis on occupational accidents cases of child-care teacher. Conclusion/Implications: We suggest to improve the system for protecting child care workers including strengthening occupational safety and health education for child care workers, expanding coverage of national project to prevent occupational accidents.
