Purpose: This study was done to describe the essential structure of the lived experience of working women raising children. Method: Data were collected from 10 employed women with children who were under 2 years of age. The analysis of the data was done using the phenomenological analytic method suggested by Colaizzi (1978). Results: In this study, 6 essential themes were extracted: 'knowing by intuition child-rearing is difficult', 'having guilt-conscious of not being able to perform duties as a mother', 'hard work of maintaining two jobs', 'Lost self', 'realizing that one has become amother', 'thirsting for a social support system'. Conclusion: With a rapidly increasing number of working women, the significance of this study in the field of nursing is in understanding the child-rearing experience of working women. The findings indicate the need for a systemic and emotional support system for working women raising children.

The research results are as follows. First, the higher the stress of the Child care center director, the higher the burnout. In particular, among the stresses, the director confirmed that the higher the stress on faculty management and administrative and financial management, the higher the burnout. Second, the higher the burnout of the director of the Child care center, the higher the turnover intention. Third, it was confirmed that the higher the stress of the Child care center director, the higher the turnover intention. Fourth, as a result of verifying the mediating effect presented in this study, it can be said that burnout has a mediating effect in the correlation between stress and turnover intention, and since the direct effect of stress on turnover intention is not significant, this mediating effect is completely mediating. can be said. In conclusion, it was confirmed that preventing job burnout is the most important issue for managing stress, which is the most important factor for turnover of Child care center Directors. Therefore, it can be said that stress and burnout have a significant correlation among job factors of childcare center directors.
This study investigates the factors influencing service outcomes of group homes and residential care centers, as well as the factors causing any differences between the two service outcomes. 119 and 137 5-6th graders were selected from group homes and residential care centers respectively, using the cluster sampling method. Multiple regression and Blinder-Oaxaca decomposition were used in this study. The results revealed that 'stigma', 'school adjustment', and 'social support' were significant factors influencing service outcomes among children in group homes, while 'stigma', 'primary caregivers' attitude', and 'peer relations' were identified as significant factors among children in residential care centers. The study also found that the mean service outcome score for group homes was higher than that of residential care centers. The 74 percent of this difference in the mean scores was due to the difference in children' characteristics of the two out-of-home care service types. The remaining 26 percent of this difference was due to unobserved characteristics. Finally, the implications of this study in child welfare practices were also discussed.

This study investigated the moderating effect of negative emotionality on the association between teacher-child intimacy and peer interaction based on a differential susceptibility model. The participants were 252 three-year-old children recruited from a day care center and preschool located in Incheon and Gyeonggi province. The teacher-child relationship was measured on a Student-Teacher Relationship Scale. This measure is a type of teacher's report with ratings based on a teacher's daily observations. This scale is composed of closeness items on the degree of warmth and open communication in teacher-child relationships. Peer interactions were measured with a Penn Interactive Peer Play Scale. This measure is composed of play interaction items, play disruption items and play disconnection. Negative emotionality was measured with Child Behavior Questionnaire. Teachers measured teacher-child intimacy and peer interaction scales. Parents reported children's negative emotionality. The research showed that negative emotionality moderated the association of teacher-child intimacy, play interaction, play isolation and play disruption. The magnitude of association between teacher-child intimacy and play disconnection as well as play interaction was greater for high levels of negative emotionality. Teacher-child intimacy was significantly associated with play disruption only for high levels of negative emotionality. The findings of this study support a differential susceptibility model.

Particularly, through participation in the video club, the teacher could pay attention to teachers' intention, teachers' decision making process, and child's intention. In addition, through video club participation, the teachers experienced educational interpretation based on children's thinking and interest; and reasoning through reflective thinking about the results of teaching behavior. This change of professional vision was possible through mutual scaffolding through cooperative reflection among participating teachers. Most preschool children in Korea attend kindergarten (KG) or a child care center (CCC). CCCs, which focus on caring for the child, belong to the ministry of health and welfare. On the other hand, KGs are responsible for education, and belong to the ministry of education, science and technology. In order to resolve the decline in population due to low birthrates, the government is expanding the free child care and education policies. CCCs and KGs are combined together to form the 'NURI curriculum' and supporting funds have been increased in both governmental departments. In addition, economic support is provided for homeschooling households. Because this is a nationwide policy and applies to every single household, thorough preparation regarding the effect and side effects must be made. This policy is currently being implemented, and as child and adolescent psychiatrists, great consideration should be given to the influence on the population. Therefore, the Korean Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry intends to investigate the effects and problems of the nationwide policy by analyzing the current condition of Korea's free child care and education and foreign policies. In the current paper, we reviewed the developmental process of Korea's free child care and education policy, as well as suggested future directions.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of playfulness, play support beliefs and parenting stress on intimate parenting in the mothers of young children by maternal employment. In order to achieve this, 405 mothers of young children, aged 3-5 years old, participated in a self-reported survey. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics using SPSS 19.0 and structural equation modeling and multigroup analysis using AMOS 21.0. The results of this study showed that the mothers' support beliefs and parenting stress mediated both playfulness and intimate parenting irrespective of maternal employment. Interestingly, the unemployed mothers' playfulness had direct effects on intimate parenting whereas the playfulness of the employed mothers did not. Lastly, the effects of the mothers' play support beliefs, playfulness, and parenting stress on intimate parenting did not differ between employed and unemployed mothers.
