Various pretreatment procedures and selective media were applied to assess the optimal conditions for the isolation of rare actinomycetes from soil. Pretreatment of wet-heating for 15 min at 70$^{\circ}C$ and phenol treatment of soil suspension were the most effective methods for the isolation of these microorganisms. Hair hydrolysate vitamin agar (HHVA) was the most suitable medium for the recovery of rare actinomycetes. Thirty-five rare actinomycete strains were chosen using selective isolation approaches, then morphological and chemical properties of the isolates were determined. The isolates belonged to one of the following genus, Micromonospora, Microbispora, Actinoplanes and Streptosporangium.

Fabrics shrinkage are affected by weaving conditions and are very difficult to be estimated when the amount of fiber consumption and production are calculated. Therefore, we need to standardize fabric shrinkage according to various weaving conditions. To develop the new textile products, we collected and analysed data of fabric shrinkage with the weaving conditions including fabric density and woven structure, tension, and machinery used.

본 논문은 ECG의 긴장과 이완상태를 자동으로 인식하기 위해서 SOM 학습을 이용한다. 기존의 ECG 연구는 자극원의 유무에 따라서 정상상태와 변화상태를 비교하여 데이터를 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 피험자를 ECG로 측정하여 분석한 후 SOM학습을 이용해서 자동으로 긴장과 이완상태를 분석한다. 실험은 피험자에게 슈팅게임을 하게 한 후 ECG로 측정한다. SOM 입력벡터는 측정된 ECG의 HRV분석으로 시간분석과 주파수분석의 특징벡터들을 추출한다. 특징이 추출된 입력벡터들은 SOM으로 학습하여 자동으로 피험자의 긴장과 이완상태를 분류하여 인식할 수 있었다. ECG와 SOM학습의 매칭도 결과는 71%의 정확도를 보였다.

대용량의 텍스트에 대해 빠른 패턴 검색의 필요성이 증가함에 따라 써픽스 트리, 써픽스 배열 등의 인덱스 자료구조에 대해 다양한 연구들이 진행되었다. 또한 써픽스 배열을 대용량의 인덱스 자료구조로 사용하기 위해 저장 공간을 O(n log n) 비트 이하로 줄이는 문제에 대한 연구들도 많이 수행되었다. 이들 중 Grossi & Vitter 는 써픽스 배열을 압축하여, 기존의 써픽스 배열보다 작은 저장 공간을 사용할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. Grossi & Vitter 알고리즘은 압축된 써픽스 배열에서 실제 써픽스 배열의 정보를 찾기 위하여, succinct 표현에서 기본적으로 사용되는 rank와 select 함수를 필요로 한다. 본 논문은 다양한 rank와 select 알고리즘을 각각 사용하는 압축된 써픽스 배열들의 성능 비교를 통해, succinct 표현의 효율적인 구현이 압축된 써픽스 배열의 성능에 미치는 영향을 실험적으로 보인다.

As people are getting concerned to Environment recently, researches on the environmentally-friendly and effective railway system have been conducted in every aspects. Especially as it became known that the pattern of train driving causes the difference in energy consumption, the researches on the train driving to minimize the energy consumption are gaining a lot of interest. The main study showed the optimal driving to minimize energy consumption while driving after analyzing real driving data measured by EMU of Bundang-line real driving, determining the impact on energy consumption due to train driving pattern changes, executing a variety of simulation on real driving patterns by Matlab Simulink and finally driving between stations by given driving times.

Power system of the tilt-duct VTOL aerial robot has been developed. This paper focuses on the power train with small liquid-type engine for the R/C boat and presents the test results with design procedures. The hardware aspects of the power system include details about the hardware configurations for the interfaces with the vehicle. The ground test and tether test for measuring the thrust performance of vehicle and evaluating the endurance of power train carried out.

This paper proposes a Video Browsing Service that provides both the video content retrieval and the video browsing by the real-time user interface on Web. For the scene segmentation and key frame extraction of video sequence, we proposes an efficient scene change detection method that combine the RGB color histogram with the ${\chi}2$ histogram.

기존의 제품 수명주기 관리 프로그램은 공급망 관리(SCM :Supply Chain Management)의 목적이 강해 그의 기능이 풍부한 반면 PLM적인 요소가 부족하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 PLM을 구성하는 PDM, CPD, CNM, PPM 4가지 요소 중에 하나인 PDM(Product Data Management) 요소를 보강하기 위한 모듈을 개발하여 구현한다. PDM의 기능은 핵심적인 고객가치를 지원하기 위한 제품정보를 관리하는 영역으로 제품구조관리(BOM), 기술문서 관리, 설계변경 관리, 제품 기준정보 관리, Software 형상관리, 환경 유해 물질 관리, 공용화 기능을 포함하고 있는데, 그 중 제품구조관리(BOM)가 가장 중요한 부분이므로 이 부분에 대해 구현한다.

For each construction material used, there is certain theoretical limit in sizes. For tall building construction, the reduction in slab weight is the first step to take in order to break such size limits. In this paper, the feasibility of such objective is proven and given by numerical analysis result. For a typical building slab, both concrete and advanced composite sandwich panels are considered. The concrete slab is treated as a special orthotropic plate to obtain more accurate result. Any method may be used to obtain the deflection influence surfaces needed for this vibration analysis. Finite difference method is used for this purpose, in this paper. The influence of the modulus of the foundation on the natural frequency is thoroughly studied.
