The purpose of this study is to examine the effects that nursing students' ego-states, self esteem, and empathies have on their interpersonal relationships. The subjects of this study were 210 nursing students who enrolled in interpersonal relationship & communication classes at A university in J city. Collected data were analysed with descriptive analysis, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. The results showed self esteem took 37 as a significant predictors of interpersonal relationship, followed by FC (Free Child, 26), and AC (Accepted Child, -18). The model explained 42% of the variables. Based on the findings, I suggest educational interventions should consider these factors to enhance nursing students' interpersonal relationships.

To develop an effective protection strategy against tomato bushy stunt virus (TBSV), tobacco plants expressing single-chain Fv antibodies (scFv), were established. A previous had shown that the replication activity of viral replicase was inhibited by the selected scFvs. Moreover, no systemic symptom was found after virus inoculation on leaves of wt N. benthamiana infiltrated with an Agrobacterium suspension resulting i3l expression of the scFvs. However, control plants showed systemic symptoms. In this study the localization of the scFvs within two transgenic plant lines, (CP28H3, CP-P55) was demonstrated using immunogold labelling. The gold particles, indicating the presence of scFv, were mostly found In the cytoplasm of the plant cells including chloroplasts and in the cell walls. However, they were hardly found in the vacuole, nucleoplasm and intercellular spaces. Gold particles often accumulated in either the cytosol or chloroplasts showing a specific labeling, There was no difference in type of gold labeling between both transgenic lines. The localization of the scFv in the cytoplasm further conforms the inhibition of the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) by the selected scFv because it is known that the RdRp is localized to membraneous cytosolic structures.

Purpose: This study was conducted to analyze the discourse of puberty in the early teenage girls. Method: The participants were 24, 11-15years old girls who were interviewed in face-to-face using a semi-structured questionnaire. The interviews were done between October 29 and December 27 2003. Analysis of the qualitative data was done in 2 steps. Results: First, the theme of the girls' puberty discourse was identifying normality and consisted of 5 categories : i) defining puberty as experiencing changes, ⅱ) acknowledging their own puberty connecting it with their definitions of puberty, ⅲ) selectively excluding/recognizing the actual pubertal changes by seeing themselves as nonsexual and negative beings, ⅳ) recognizing the pubertal changes as becoming women and making them not peculiar but normal, and ⅴ) sharing the knowledge and experience of change inactively and exclusively and resisting the dominant discourse. Three main discourse frames, marking off sexual/nonsexual, man/women, and major/minor were revealed in the second step of the analysis. They were intricately woven with each other and converged on sex. Conclusion: The girls posited themselves as being asexual, unstable, and marginal. So there is a need to help them recognize their pubertal state as physical and mental paradigmatic changes and assure their pubertal changes as positive.

이 연구는 거세가 제주 수말 비육시 성장 및 육질에 미치는 영향을 구영하기 위해 수행되었다. 24필(16-20개월령 )의 제주마를 12두씩 대조구(비거세)와 거세구에 3반복 (반복 당 4두)으로 배치하여 380일 동안 비육 시험을 실시하였다. 건초와 물은 자유급식 시켰고, 농후사료는 초기 260일 동안 체중의 1.25%, 후기 120 일 동안은 체중의 1.5% 급여하였다. 일당증체량과 사료섭취량은 처리 간 차이가 없었다. 등심단면적은 거세시 다소 증가되었고(P < 0.05), 근내지방도도 유의적 차이는 없었지만(P=0.08) 거세에 의해서 개선되는 경향을 보 였다{2.10 vs 1.59). 거세에 의해서 말고기 등심의 조지방 힘량은 증가된(P < 0.01) 반면, 수분과 조단백질 함량 은 감소되는 경향을 보였다 등심의 육색, pH, 가열감량 및 보수력은 거세 유무에 따른 차이를 보이지 않았 으나， 전단력은 거세구가 다소 감소하는 경향을 보였다(5.2vs 6.4 kg / 1.0-cm diameter core). 말고기 관능평가 에서는 거세구가 비거세에 비해 다즙성 연도 및 향미에서 개선된 경향을 보였다. 이 연구 결과, 제주마를 거 세 비육함으로써 근내지방도를 증가시켜 말고기의 육질을 개선시킬 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

We consider the problem of identifying multiple outliers in linear model. The available regression diagnostic methods often do not succeed in detecting multiple outliers because of the masking and swamping effect. Recently, among the various robust estimator of reducing the effect of outliers, LMS(Least Meadian Square) estimator has been to be a suitable method proposed to expose outliers and leverage points. However, as you know it, the data analysis method with LMS estimator is to be taken the median of the squared residuals in the sample which is extracted the sample space. Then this model causes the trouble, for the number of the chosen sample is nCp, i.e. as the size of sample space n is increasing, the number is increasing fastly. And the covariance matrix may be the singular matrix, so that matrix is approching collinearity. Thus we propose a procedure ELMS for the resampling in LMS method and study the size of the effective elementary set in this algorithm.

The causative virus causing rabbit hepatitis has been further characterized by evaluating viral proteins and viral nucleic acids of purified viruses from the liver of the experimentally infected rabbits. Rabbit hepatitis virus has one major structural protein of 54 kilodaltons and some minor proteins. Vrial RNA was resistant to DNAse I. The size of viral nucleic acid of this virus was calculated to be about 7.5 kilobases. These findings indicate that rabbit hepatitis virus belongs to the family Caliciviridae.

The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the customers' perceived service quality and response in the field of hotel industry. The subjects of survey for this empirical analyses are limited to the customers of deluxe hotels in Korea; data are collected from the 16 deluxe hotels amongst 27 of its kind in the Seoul, Pusan, Cheju and Kyongju area. SAS package is used for Simple Regression, Multiple Regression and the results are as follows: First, the perceived service quality shows significantly positive effect upon the customers' satisfaction; Second, the customers' perceived service quality shows significantly positive with respect to the customers' response; Third, the customers' satisfaction shows significantly positive regarding the customers' response, and the customers' satisfaction have greater influence upon the customers' response than the customers' perceived service quality; On the basis of the above empirical analyses, I propose the management implication as follows: First, the hotel management staffs should have a close relation with their customers through the customers' positive, and eventually be concemed about improving service quality and customers' satisfaction to maximize the enterprise's performance; Second, the hotel management staffs, to induce and build up the positive customers' response, should have interest in serving high-quality products and service and enforcing the proper price policy.

Beauty Art is an act which makes a face beautiful using various methods such as permanent, manicure and make-up. Recently, Beauty Art is recognized as the personal culture expressing the value of beauty and spirit. Therefore, there are growing interests in the comprehensive study of Beauty Art nor only from the beauty industries but also from academia, because Beauty Art is the high value-added field and Is recognized as a style of the dress. The purpose of this study is to open a new view to understand the Nail Art as a fold of experimental plastic art. The arctic expression is added to Beauty Art to develop it from the routine technique of the make-up and hairstyling to creative art. Assemblage is adopted to provide Beauty Art with fine harmonious expression which develop Nail Art into interesting and unique art area. Assemblage meaning compounding or collection is a technique through which three-dimension is added to two-dimension paintings, and which is an expression of an art work by recollection of miscellaneous articles or waste materials. Assemblage is a term which Jean Dubuffet coioned first in order to differentiate collage used by Picaso or Braque. Here, I present Nail Art Designs which applied Jean Dubuffet's works focusing on Automaticity and Happenstantial phenomena of materials, Materialization, and Directness. These features are characteristics of Assemblage which basic frameworks are fantastic collection, accumulation, constructive collection, and object collection.

The xynA gene encoding the xylanase A of Paenibacillus sp. DG-22 was isolated with a DNA probe obtained by PCR amplification, using degenerated primers deduced from the amino acid residues of the known N-terminal region of the purified enzyme and the conserved region in the family 11 xylanases. The positive clones were screened on the LB agar plates supplemented with xylan, by the Congo-red staining method. The xynA gene consists of a 630-bp open reading frame encoding a protein of 210 amino acids, and the XynA preprotein contains a 28-residues signal peptide whose cleavage yields a l82-residues mature protein of a calculated molecular weight of 20,000Da and pI value of 8.77. The cloned DNA fragment also has another ORF of 873 nucleotides that showed 76% identity to the putative transcriptional activator of Bacillus halodurans C-125. Most of the xylanase activity was found in the periplasmic space of E. coli. The xynA gene was subcloned into pQE60 expression vector to fuse with six histidine-tag. The recombinant xylanase A was purified by heating and immobilized metal affinity chromatography. The optimum pH and temperature of the purified enzyme were 6.0 and $60^{\circ}C$, respectively. This histidine-tagged xylanase A was less thermostable than the native enzyme.

This paper aims to describe the relation between the weather condition, especially typhoon and a shipwreck in Korean waters. For this study, it was investigated the statistical characteristics of a shipwreck due to the weather, pressure patterns governing the shipwreck in Korean waters. and the relation between the intensity of typhoon and the amount of a disaster. The results are summarized as follows: 1) The monthly occurrence frequency of a shipwreck was the heighest in July followed by February, March in descending order. 2) The pressure patterns governing the shipwreck were classified broadly into six types and pressure pattern which had most occurrence frequency of a shipwreck was Type V and then cames Type I, Type III and type IV in that order. 3) Occurence frequency of a shipwreck and the amount of a kinetic energy of typhoon have nothing to do with each other. In case of Wind-Typhoon that brought more a strong wind than a heavy rainfall, there were seriously affected ships and buildings by the wind.
