Through some case studies, specific space relation of elderly nursing homes and elderly community is analyzed. Also, with the building analysis for summary, plans, wards(hospital rooms), cafeteria, program rooms and alley, some of general information and elderly community space is understood. In this study, there will be an analysis of relation of elderly community(morphological, social, environmental characteristics) which is separated into some spaces of elderly nursing homes(living, nursing, public spaces and facilities) written above. Furthermore, if people can recognize the importance of community space for elderly facilities, there will be a new guide line for that which can have a play on catalyst.
The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of the innovation characteristics that AI Elderly Care Robots have on elderly consumers and to verify the acceptance or mediated resistance by the elderly of the innovation characteristics. Research was conducted throughout this study of the characteristics of the elderly so that the study results could contribute to the improvement of the quality and manufacture of AI Elderly Care Robots by lowering the psychological resistance of the elderly. Survey questions were answered by senior citizens aged 65 and older. The SPSS25 and AMOS22 programs were used for analysis. The analysis confirmed that innovation resistance has a significant mediated effect on the characteristics of elderly consumers and their willingness to accept the innovation characteristics of the AI Elderly Care Robots. Through this study, Ram's innovation resistance model has been verified empirically and it is estimated that by considering the specificities of elderly consumers and using the information to contribute to the development and modification of AI Elderly Care Robots will increase the willingness of the elderly to accept the innovation characteristics of the AI Elderly Care Robots.
This study is focused on the levels of life satisfaction influenced by the socio-demographic characteristics, personal activities, personal support and psychological characteristics. We surveyed 504 future elderly people(age between 50 to 64) and the elderly(over 65). The results are as follows; First, future elderly people are more satisfied with their life than the elderly. Second, life satisfaction of the future elderly is rarely influenced by the social demographic characteristics. Whereas, life satisfaction of the elderly is more influenced by the socio-demographic characteristics rather than the personal activities. Supports from neighbors and psychological characteristics are more satisfying their lives. Thus, we should come up with new programs providing opportunities to attend various social activities to maximize their life satisfaction of the future elderly. For the elderly, we need systems to build social network for supports from neighbors and to provide more job opportunities and educating programs.

For this purpose, this study used ordered logit model analysis using '2019 Housing survey data'. As a result of the analysis, in the case of individual/housing characteristics, the analysis results of the non-elderly household model and the elderly household model were similar. However, in the case of regional characteristics, non-elderly households living in the metropolitan area showed higher housing satisfaction than non-elderly households living in the non-metropolitan area, whereas the elderly households living in the metropolitan area had lower housing satisfaction than the elderly households living in the non-metropolitan area. In addition, the satisfaction variable of neighborhood/environmental characteristics that had the greatest impact on the housing satisfaction of non-elderly households was found to be crime prevention status satisfaction, and the satisfaction variable of neighborhood/environmental characteristics that had the greatest impact on the housing satisfaction of elderly households was air pollution satisfaction. The results of the analysis can be used as various reference materials when establishing housing welfare policies for elderly households.

PURPOSES : Because elderly drivers are more prone to becoming confused when approaching an urban intersection and thus may yield prolong judgment and decision times than non-elderly drivers, to increase the comfort and safety of the intersection environment for elderly drivers, this study applied autonomous driving tests at an urban intersection to examine their driving characteristics. METHODS : To obtain a more comprehensive understanding of driving features, this study collected drive data of non-elderly drivers and elderly drivers via an autonomous experiment using OBD2 and an eye-tracker, in addition to performing a literature review on the measured visibility range of elderly drivers at intersections. This literature review was conducted considering the general knowledge of elderly drivers having relatively reduced visibility. Additionally, as they are commonly more vulnerable, this study analyzes characteristics of elderly drivers as compared to those of non-elderly drivers. CONCLUSIONS : The results of this study can be summarized as follows: 1) the peripheral visible distance of elderly drivers is reduced as compared to that of non-elderly drivers; 2) elderly drivers approach and proceed through intersections at slower speeds than non-elderly drivers; and 3) elderly drivers yield increased driving distances when performing a right or left turn as compared to non-elderly drivers as a result of their reduced speed and acceleration and larger turning radii relative to non-elderly drivers.
